    Folks, I hate to say it but PBO won’t be able to be on the call. I let him know that all the lusty ladies from TOD were going to be on it panting away and Michelle put her foot down and said he couldn’t do it.

    Did y’all see this from the last thread?

    Only Internet Explorer is working for Covered Oregon.

    That’s too funny, and is enough to rile up the Apple snobs (i.e., media and other elite):

    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

    Judith Fardig:
    People are signing up in Oregon, but they have to use Internet Explorer (other browsers still have bugs) if they want to use CoverOregon.com to fill out and submit their application. The marketplace is still mostly advising people to call, use the website to get hooked up with a navigator, or fill out the application as a pdf and mail it in. Of course, people other than those already fast-tracked are signing up!

      So what is Mayor Rahm problem?

      • 152 forus50
        November 18, 2013 at 8:55 pm

        His problem is that he loves power and doesn’t care for the work. I never liked him and voted for him only because POTUS liked him. But truly since he’s been mayor he hasn’t done much. I much preferred Daley who seemed like he cared about the city. Rahm is totally power hungry imo. He and Quinn should be out EVERY DAMN DAY talking about getting folks signed up. Neither of them would have been elected without POTUS and his electorate here in Chicago GOTV for them.

    They’re really encouraging EVERYONE to have “that” conversation with someone this holiday season. Ask if they’ve signed up for healthcare. Make it personal and share your experiences . So for everyone wanting to DO something, that’s the place to start. I think the promo is Healthcare for the Holidays. There was mention of printouts and a video of how to get the conversation started-www.barackobama.com.

    I love my President! He says he’s still fighting- for healthcare, and to look out for more talk of the filibustered judicial nominees.

    Well I never could get logged onto the call. But I am here in my kitchen, getting ready for an Obamacare houseparty on Wed. I’ll be hosting folks who know a whole lot about the ACA, will set things straight with the audience (local Dems) and hopefully get them plugged into outreach for encouraging people to sign up.

  84. 181 Bill R.

    Honest, people. We need to have a way to take the Senate Dems to the woodshed, and beat the livin’ tar out of them until they get the message to grow a spine and stand up for the people who voted for them and for our President.

      Go to trollie-troll’s profile page. Beside the Follow button is another button with a silhouette head. There’s a little arrow beside the head.
      That opens a dropdown menu where you select ‘Drop @trollie-troll’

      Smile! You have just blocked a troll. Heckl, you can even proclaim it as you click — “Get back devil, I smite thee!” 👿

        Success! Thanks very much for the tip Dudette. I’m still very much a hopeless newbie at this.. The profile page of said trollie-troll (love that name by the way) claimed: “I am a proud army wife & mother of three beautiful girls. A oral historian with a focus of women in the military.” If said profile is true, you’d think she would have the exact opposite opinion about health care for other women and children. SMDH… 🙄
