Have my TV muted and Chris Hayes is flapping his gums on MSNBC. Looks as though recently somebody told him to hold a pen in his hand while speaking and wave it around, to make him look grown-up. Kind of like how Edward R. Murrow used to interview while puffing on a cigarette, with the smoke’s swirling over his head.

I’m thinking “Remove the Harry Potter glasses, Chris” might have been better advice for the young fella.

Congrats on first, Bobfr. Thanks for the tunes, LL. I am currently engrossed in the Oregon/Stanford game…. DVR is starting 3rd quarter. No spoiler/jinx’s. I need a lot of things to happen for my Auburn Tigers to make the BCS championship game. Stanford beast Oregon, Baylor beats Oklahoma(then loses 1/5 next games OK. St, TTech, Texas, and Big 12 Championship, Ohio St. needs to lose to Michigan or in Big 10 Championship to Michigan St. I don’t expect FSU to lose to Florida or in ACC Championship(Miami/V-Tech/G-Tech/Duke) Auburn would leapfrog all these teams by just winning. Starts Saturday vs. Tennessee, then Georgia, week off then Alabama, and finally win SEC Championship game vs. Missouri or S.Carolina. We are currently #9 in BCS #7 in AP. That’s the scenario…………. ok I went off the deep end for you non NCAA Football fans, but……. I can’t help myself ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I bet if PBO didn’t have previous DCCC obligations to fulfill in Florida (previously cancelled during shutdown) he would be there.

Just imagine where this country would be if the Republicans and the GOP had given President Obama some breathing room to implement his agenda! I am pretty sure unemployment would be much much lower, housing would be in much better condition, and, come Jan.1, 2014, many more low income families, probably for the first time for many, would be covered by Medicaid in all the 50 states.

Love the music, LL. Thank you. There is nothing like music, a few candles, and a nice mellow glass of red or white wine to keep the spirits up and moving as Ms. Patti Labelle just rolled those alphabets. Reminded me of my performance arts classes with the students. I join Ms. Labelle in the number of years that she is carrying around in her space as well. Not bad for a couple of foxy ones.

Good Nite Chips and my TOD family. TY, again. LL for this closing evening.

This one is dedicated to the media. It’s a duet by Billy Gibbons and this one guy who was born Riley B. King and was later to be known as Blues Boy King. Before long that was shortened to B.B. King.

My dream is alive!!! Oregon goes down…..but boy that game got crazy in the last 5 minutes. Stanford up 26-7 w/ 5 minutes to go, kicking FG to ice the game…….get BLOCKED, and returned for a touchdown by Oregon(failed 2pt conversion 26-13). Then an onside kick….Recovered by Oregon! Then they score a TD again with 2:00 minutes left (26-20 Stanford still up) Oregon kicks onside kick, and barely hits the only Stanford player in the area on the fingertips…..Stanford recovers, runs clock out……game over. Whew………. what a finish. WAR EAGLE!!!

What ho TOD Peeps. Whenever I feel my bp rising from yet another episode of blatant disrespect against our President, I play the clip below which reminds me that Chuckles the Fraud Todd and his ilk is the dirt our illustrious Prez calmly brushes off his shoulders. All. Day. Every. Day. Every. Time. Remember that. ๐Ÿ™‚ We’ve got a government to take back come 2014 and ACA to bring to the masses, one by one, door by door if we have to. Inhale.. Exhale Woosah!

2014……this is the way corporate media dominates the Morning shows with TBGOPers talking points and the Radio. This way they drive the issues of the day and the evening News cycle.

There is No Morning show that starts with saying anything remotely complimentary about Dems or pres Obama.
