    I will never forgive McCrystal, Rumsfield, Rove, Cheney, and the cabal that covered up the cause of his death. Read his wife’s book (worthwhile)

    Accidentally had on that sniveling Erin Burnett’s OutFront on CNN before hitting the remote, and her intro line was that it was a “bad day for Obamacare.”

    Huh?

    Then she played a snippet from one of the awful R senators – possibly Cornyn – apparently questioning our Sec. Sebelius at the hearing today by saying something TOTALLY OUTLANDISH like “If a convicted felon gets access to people’s private information by becoming an ACA navigator … ”

    GOOD LORD. I’d be a little more concerned that A CONVICTED FELON not be able to GET A GUN than a seat at an ACA navigator’s desk. There are fraudulent people all over this world who can hack into our accounts and get our private info or steal our stuff without being a convicted felon who’d go to all the trouble of securing volunteer or paid work to further the ACA.

    The stupid party will go to any lengths to make fools of themselves, just to hurt President Obama and his cabinet members.

    I am freakin’ sick of it. STFU, Republicans. We are attempting to send all of you back to your ranches.

      She is a reason CNN’s ratings are way DOWN, along with John King, Wolf Blitzer, and CNN bringing back ”Crossifre” with losers like Newt Gringrich, Van Jones, and S.E. Cupp on the panel. I won’t watch that crap, and I won’t watch any CNN talking heads. No thanks, CNN! I can do without biased reporting.

        I know what you mean! They used to be one of my go-to cable news channels, when something hot was happening. No more!

        • November 7, 2013 at 7:04 am

          JO’B, I agree.

          Ironically, before I saw your post, I was just thinking the same thing about CNN once being the channel to go to for news. By trying to be FauxNews II and continuing to catering to conservative/corporate special interests, they are missing out on an opportunity to be that again.

      JB, you were asking earlier. Don’t know if you got an answer.

      Why in this world does this woman have a show. Haven’t watched her but hear that she is horrible as a talk show host.

        She used to play Anderson Cooper’s sidekick on his show, and she wasn’t bad at that (although he’d cut her off, all the time). She just seems mad at the world to me on her own show. I’d be angry, too, if I were her.

        In answer to your point, I’m thinkin’ just agree to bash Pres. Obama, and CNN will give you a show.

      I just saw that on the news….

      =======

      In a Republican state like Georgia, Carter faces an uphill battle in fundraising. Carter is counting on a bruising Republican primary.

      Incumbent Gov. Nathan Deal has two primary challengers for 2014. Carter could also get a boost because Democrat Michelle Nunn, the daughter of former Sen. Sam Nunn, is the front-runner in the U.S. Senate race.

      The younger Carter said partisan folks may have opinions about his grandfather’s presidency, but he said his campaign will be about the future, not his family.

      Sources said former state Sen. Connie Stokes, a Democrat who has already announced she’s running for governor, will step aside and run for Lt. governor instead.

      Carter said he will not step down from the state Senate while he campaigns for governor.

    Good News!

    ====
    “Kevin Ware returns to a standing ovation from appreciative Louisville fans”

    http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaab-the-dagger/kevin-ware-returns-standing-ovation-appreciative-louisville-fans-065143618–ncaab.html

    —-

    When Kevin Ware sank a 3-pointer from the right corner on his first shot attempt since fracturing his right leg in horrific fashion last March, he was as surprised as anyone to see the ball fall through the rim.

    Ware’s surprise return turned Louisville’s otherwise mundane 90-61 exhibition victory over Pikeville into a celebration of all he has accomplished since his gruesome injury against Duke in the Elite Eight. The Louisville crowd gave Ware his first standing ovation when he checked into the game with 13:49 remaining in the second half, cheered again every time he touched the ball and stood and roared for nearly a minute when he sank his 3-pointer.
