Good Morning!….I know I should not be shocked by anything Chuck Todd says and does but boy, am I astounded this morning…..tweeting like a lunatic about football game trends while children will go hungry b/c of SNAP cuts.

Morning Chips and Amk–just so you know someone else is awake and ‘sort of’ aware. This is the big GOTV weekend for local candidates and I’m trying to gear up. Yesterday the smarmy Republicans published rancid, ugly smears against our candidates in the local rag–so late in the day there’s no time for a response to be published. That makes voter contact all the more important. I’ve tried all my life not to harbor hateful feelings, but I’ve given up that battle in the last several days. I just plain loathe these Republicans snakes, who can never run a clean campaign or win honestly. And by the way, Chips, thanks for the refreshing start to the day with loving pics of PBO and the first daughters. Perfect antidote to the bile-producing ugliness of US politics.

As usual I am always behind the news. But is it true that Google is going to help with ACA Website? I heard it briefly on my local TV this a.m.

Africa– spite, hatred, racism, misogyny and sadism are the underpinning of today’s Republican Party. The are destructive and nihilistic. I honestly believe they live in fear they that will accidentally do something good to someone, somewhere and so they spend every day thinking of new ways to hurt people.

Seriously CBS keeps screwing up with hair on fire tactics and now this. And the GOP is complicit in this lie as they supported this guy. Oh and Lindsey who will block noms because, well, #BENGHAZI. It would seem both just keep digging themselves in deeper and deeper. When will it end?

    Good morning, Chips and TODers.

This is a very sad day for America. Just look at the number of children, seniors and disabled affected

Jefferson Obama keeps saying that Greenwald is an anarchist who simply “hates America” and therefore is helping Russia and China to hack the US systems. But I think Greenwald is far more than simply an “America-hating anarchist.” I’m 99% certain that if Mitt Romney were President, we would not be seeing or hearing anything from the likes of Greenwald or Snowjob.

We would not be hearing anything major about NSA spying. Instead we would be getting nonstop MSM “fluff” reports about how Romney is turning this economy around quickly, and outside of that, the media would be still almost exclusively focused on how and why Barack Obama became a one-term Prez and all about that “first debate.”

The truth is Glen Greenwald is a virulent Obama-hating racist, hiding under the guise of “civil liberties” because it’s convenient to do so right now. He is as bigoted as the most extreme Teabagger residing in the backwoods of Utah – only he is more “intelligent” and has more money. Greenwald’s whole agenda is to destroy PBO’s good standing in the world and thwart his superior record on national security. And he’s getting increasingly frantic because he realizes that he has only 3 more yrs to exact his deranged and unjustified revenge against President Obama.

PREACH!!! agree with every word. same thing with most of the other so-called liberals commentators/bloggers who can’t seem to ever say one thing positive about one of the most liberal presidents of all time – president barack hussein obama.

It is an undisputed fact based on evidence in the PUBLIC DOMAIN that SNOWDEN, in particular and Greenwald are foreign agents engaged in PSYOPS against American citizens. Really this is not rocket science. Only the truly ignorant, those lacking critical thinking skills would believe even for a minute that Snowden’s illegal release of US intelligence gathering methods has anything to do with our civil liberties.

I agree with your synopsis….but I think we need to know who are the people behind curtain…and what it is they hope to accomplish

Let’s see. Charlie Christ is running for governor of FLA as Dem. Remember a couple of weeks ago when that Texas Republican Judge Carlo R. Key moved over to the Dems and now this guy from North Carolina who’s running for Congress has switched parties. I found this originally on the Big Orange site but I won’t post here from there so I just went to the candidate’s website. He writes why the switch.

    • November 2, 2013 at 11:19 am

I worry about these switches…can we trust them…really…sigh…I suppose that we see the retreat from the GOP because of the extremism in the party…but they were members of the GOP for some reason…even if it is the old GOP…I think of folks like Charlie Crist in FL and even Colin Powell who did have the courage to publicly support PBO twice… but I do not know what they will wrought if elected…
