Welcome to “Up With Chris”, with me, uber-geeky-cute Chris Hayes. On today’s show: Glenn Greenwald (my favorite Man in Rio) is on to discuss how President Obama personally reads every sext he sends to his husband throughout the day. For the second segment, we stay with Glenn as we discuss how President Obama’s ultimate goal is to replace every US soldier (who are not heroes) with drones which will hover over Glenn’s condo and take pictures as he and his husband canoodle. For the final segment, Joan Walsh will join Glenn and I to discuss how African Americans just don’t know what’s good for them. Coming right up!

What a fantastic line-up Chris. You always have the best shows with the best guests. Who wouldn’t want Greenwald on their show? He’s the most ethical and honest journalist a news station could hope to find. No wonder you are doing so well in the ratings, and as MSNBC’s senior political analyst, Phil Griffin has personally informed me that you will be in this 8PM prime time slot for GOOD.

      All the best,
      Chuck Todd

Well in my books, you are indeed the President, Mr. Romney. Obama and his minions cheated the polls by forcing voters to stand in line for hours and hours and hours on end. That was not fair, in my honest opinion. And as Karl Rove said, there may be still some ballots left to be counted in the Ohio region.

TORONTO (AP) — Toronto’s police chief says they have recovered the alleged drug video involving Mayor Rob Ford.

Police Chief Bill Blair said Thursday he was “disappointed” after viewing the video, but that there was nothing in the video that would provide grounds to press charges.

Balir says the video will come out in court and declined to provide details.

He said the video, recovered from a computer hard drive, “depicts images that are consistent with those previously reported in the press.”

Sadly, another Updated report at HP……No charges will be filed.

“Pro Choice. Against Slavery? Don’t buy one,” read the caption to a picture showing a slave auction. MSNBC and radio Host Ed Schultz posted a screengrab of the photo on his Facebook page:

Glad to see no one sweating that NBC/WSJ poll. As per Jefferson Obama, the poll increased TP representation by 2%, decreased minority representation by 4% from 2012 electorate and oversampled white males. In other words, this “poll” was designed to have an anti-PBO result. In short, more propaganda intended to SHAPE reality opposed to reflect reality.

    • October 31, 2013 at 1:11 pm

Todd is really pulling out all the stops in setting the beltway narrative. The Obamacare website is dismissed as a “disaster” by MSM, no explanation needed. (Heard that this morning on CBS news radio; no discussion of both sides, just a flat-out fact that it’s a “disaster.”

Todd also said this morning he’d like to see more tricks handed out tonight, instead of treats. He really is vile, and letting his true colors show.

I’d like to see Chuckles take on this, via HF2, who is channeling Todd today.

      • 76 ERICFIVE
        October 31, 2013 at 1:27 pm

This is just a replay of the MSM/GOP smear campaign against PBO when they promoted and hyped the 3 fake “scandals” (IRS, Benghazi and NSA) to create the impression of a “scandal plagued White House under siege”. The MSM/GOP is so predictable with their bullshit. Funny how with the gov’t shutdown, the MSM asked which party is to blame, but with all the GOP anti-ACA obstruction, the GOP is never presented as a cause for ACA’s problems. The MSM is trying to tear down PBO/Dems to lessen the harm the GOP suffered from the gov’t shutdown fiasco. The all out assault on ACA with easily discredited stories and outright propaganda smells of desperation. It is also highly coordinated. I wonder if the MSM is controlled by just one person who sets the agenda/narrative that the whole MSM blindly promotes.

Another excellent question, Mark. Who knows…he might spend the rest of the afternoon/evening on the golf course. He’s said that as the girls are growing they spend less and less time with him, but people I’ve spoken to are telling me that it’s the President who wants to spend more and more time on the golf course.

I have to confess that there’s no news yet if the President is playing golf this weekend. I’ll keep my eyes open though, and as soon as I see him heading away from the WH today or tomorrow, I’ll rush to tell twitter. I’ll even make sure to note who is going with him – and if there are any females. It’s been a while since he has played golf with a woman. Hmmmmmm. I had forgotten that. Yawn….Hi all, it’s me, Ann Coulter. It was so comfy in the crypt this morning, I just had to lie in a little longer. Stayed up late last night replaying those marvelous Sebelius hearings. I just love it when Liberal women get abused by Republican men. And weren’t our guys so cute with all that spittle on their mouths–just had to watch it over and over again. Wish they’d gotten that Sebelius B— to cry though. They should’ve invited me to have a go at her, but I guess they’re saving me for the big guy. Plan to make an appearance on some Toadish site today. Asked Igor to take special care with the black dress–hate it when he complains about the shine on the seat. Silly man doesn’t understand how that dress highlights my e…l…o…g….a…t…e…d form and makes me so riveting to men. I see the way they stare at me…especially my neck–just so irresistible and the women–always so wide-eyed as if they just can’t take in the beauty that is me. Cry your eyes out, Beyotches!! I’ve always said Liberal women are ugly, so I can just see the men at TOAD, fainting away at my brilliant entrance. Just a few more touches of peroxide and I”ll have all those nasty little roots taken care of. Can’ wait to see VLAD tonight. We’re dining at ten and if there’s one man who just ADORES staring at my neck, it’s Vlad. Ta!

Within the next three weeks, the Senate is expected to vote on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, or ENDA, which would provide basic protections from employment discrimination to the nation’s 8 million lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender, or LGBT, workers. ENDA builds upon an enduring American value that workers should be judged on their merits and not their identity. It is past time for Congress to ensure basic fairness for every American, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

    Van Jones checking in…

You know, I love this president and I respect this president…

…but I gotta say, there’s some leadership in Congress that’s gonna make the 2016 Presidential elections a serious contest.

For instance…Rand Paul. Now, he’s a civil rights villain, I’ll admit. But when it comes to civil liberties? Now that’s where he’s a champion. That 13 hour filibuster he did about using aerial drones to kill Americans citizen on U.S. soil…a thing of beauty. He asked the tough questions that Liberals should be asking. Yes sir, that Rand Paul used the filibuster the way it was supposed to be used. Don’t know how much of it was plagiarized from Wikipedia, but hey, that’s not the point.

And Ted Cruz? Man oh man! Now there’s something I admire about that guy. He took bold action for something he believed in. Shutting down the government!?!?!?!?!? Can you say AUDACITY? Every person I admire and consider to be a hero is willing to take bold action, just like Senator Cruz did. That guy was able to rally congressmen IN THE OTHER CHAMBER! He was able to stall a vote by reading “Green Eggs and Ham!” That’s leadership! So what if it cost 24 billion dollars? So what if he is calling it Obama’s shutdown? Not every leader takes credit for their work!

Yeah, 2016 is going to be very interesting. If either of these guys win the Republican primary, they are going to give the Democratic challenger a run for their money.

    Keep it GREEN!
