I know they’re slow on the uptake and I’m not charging them a mega-consulting fee so perhaps they’ll give it a try ….

… they’d have more viewers than they’ve ever had ….

Oh, is that the truth, amk. I’ve always wondered how cartoonists could be so fearless about telling the truth, and the media types so cowardly. I guess the non cartoonist media gets paid for the size of the yellow streaks down their backs.

I know, I know, I should be in bed, but it’s already been a long afternoon, and it’s going to be a damned long night. My sore throat has morphed into a sinus infection, which ranks right with a stomach flu as my least favorite illness. And I have to keep myself informed, even if I can’t really enter the lists on Twitter until I’m over this.

I thought I’d tune in to BBC World earlier. First story? “ZOMG the US is spying on Euro leaders!!111!!!111!!” Of course, most of this was done under Shrub. Yet another elephant shit PBO has to clean up.

But, thanks to a friend, I have a website where I can stream basically every UK sports channel. I’ve been in heaven, when I haven’t been zonked out.

Hi LL! Sorry you’re under the weather. I heard Windex is good for everything. 🙂

Yeh, that story hit me in the face when I turned on Al Jazeera this morning. Click!

Sweet sweet music … Bobby’s been speaking to me all day!

Sweetie seeing you CAN drink (unlike your’s truly) Might I suggest a hot toddie or two? It’ll open your sinuses, sooth your throat and put you to a sound sleep

Sitting here with my terrified hound. This is one of the worst times of the year for my dogs. Fireworks and firecrackers are quite usual for Halloween here in my part of Canada. People get a little impatient and start them the weekend before, often. Like now. Both my rescue dogs have great fears of the sounds of fireworks. One had firecrackers thrown at him while still a pup. The other was shot at by BB guns. They know they are safe with me and my guy but they still fear the noise like the dickens.

Nothing like two big dogs trying to crawl into your lap while you read the computer and try to type.

Happens to so many dogs…keep them inside and let them crawl on your lap:) I have a Great Dane that thinks she’s little….I know all about the lap thing:) It must be terrifying for them, especially because of the cruelty they experienced. You did a good thing by adopting them:) Love those rescue dogs (like mine) they’re the best friends/family ever.

😀 They are, indeed. They are our beloved babies. I don’t know if it will work for the younger, who is new to us, but the older of the two is somewhat less terrified when he has sweaters wrapped around his ears to block out some of the sound. He doesn’t even mind on Halloween. Seems such a shame. Dogs I grew up with LOVED Halloween because they loved greeting all the kids at the door. I know my older one would love that two. Younger is scared of kids (the BB culprits, I think)

This is excellent. Democrats should be blanketing the airwaves with examples like this. The media is too busy chasing shiny objects.

Agreed. I don’t understand why the dems, except for PBO and Nancy, are being such wimps in attacking the gop shutdown and its devastating effects. Instead, some of these assholes join the rethugs and the msm in attacking the aca hiccups.

I love this tweet, dudette. We have to shove facts like these in Republican faces every day. People have to learn how automatically pressing the button for R really hurts them.

It’s kind of obvious when everybody supported Hillary. These are not Obama People.
Bastards! This hurts, bc 11 senate Democrats running for the hills? Not good!

    • October 26, 2013 at 7:26 am

Jovie, it isn’t going to happen. The president will NEVER agree to this–ever! These traitors can sign all the letters they want–they are just making fools of themselves.

Maybe means testing Medicare for individuals over 200 k.
This adds years to life of both programs.
    It is what it is?
But I doubt the liberals will go along with it and conservatives want more cuts to actual programs like raising the age of eligibility! Ain’t gonna happen.
    So…, government shutdown number 2?
