We do! We do! Which reminds me, how come Sunny pictures have been so rare. Is she camera shy, or off to training classes? I was so looking forward to seeing the two of them together once in a while.

Is this woman insane? Does she realize Glass-Steagall died well before the Obama Admin?

    Obama's bankster bosses made him kill glass steagall #reps #dems #collusion— Roseanne Barr (@TheRealRoseanne) October 6, 2013

      October 6, 2013 at 12:12 am

I liked Roseanne-the show (well, except for that craptacular lottery storyline, but that’s for another time ;)), but Roseanne has long ago lost it WRT PBO, it started during the Clinton-Obama primary fight, and it doesn’t seem to have let up since them, at least from snippets that I’ve seen.

        October 6, 2013 at 12:33 am

I never liked Roseanne. I watched the early years, but never really was a fan. Her craziness towards President Obama has cemented my dislike of her. And she tried to run for President? Heaven help us all!

You know, Theo, I just can’t get over the fact that many on the so called leftists, who hate President Obama so much, have absolutely no qualms, just like the teabag right wingers, spreading lies about him. So, now this self indulgent actress is blaming President Obama because “his bankster bosses made him kill glass steagall….” I wonder if RoseAnne Barr’s blatant lies are purely a result of ignorance or, most possibly, a result of a purposeful plan by the so called liberals to use lies to undermine President Obama. In either case, what Ms. Roseanne Barr twitted was a blatant lie.

I think an emphasis on how much money this government shutdown is costing us each day could go a long way towards undermining the GOP message of debt reduction.

Yowza—-SNL just did a very risque and pretty hilarious takedown of the shutdown—-with “Boehner” and Miley Cyrus as Michele Bachmann—to the musical accompaniment of “It’s my party, I can do what I want”. It was quite the deal—-a must see—-I think.

Ok…I am staying up to watch SNL. Last weeks Obama on ACA was kinda lame except when Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad part describing the teacher who had cancer and had to start selling meth was hilarious.

From the description on YouTube: “YOU WERE MEANT FOR ME///PETE PETERKIN SONGWRITER///YOU WERE MEANT FOR ME Fantasy Duet//Lalah seems to sing the thoughts of her Mom and herself . I chose this photo because it gave new depth to the original lyric. Hope you all enjoy my tribute to the Beautiful Hathaway Family. After 50 mixes I was finally able to put these 2 versions of the song I wrote for Donny over 40 years ago together as one. I hope no one makes me take it down!(LOL) petepeterkin@yahoo.com

Latest from our Stone Kettle Station truth teller, Jim Wright:

    “The President cannot give in.
    He. Can. Not.
And you donโ€™t want him to.
No really, you do not want him to.
There can be no compromise on the government shutdown.
No matter what happens, the House must not win this fight.
Notice that I didnโ€™t say the House cannot win, I said the House must not win.
Any you donโ€™t want them to.
You, whether you are a liberal or a conservative, whether you are for or against the Affordable Healthcare Act, whether or not you hate Barack Obamaโ€™s stinking guts with every fiber of your being, if you believe in the America of your forefathers you do not want the House to win.
Because if they win, if this precedent is allowed to stand, then America as you know it, as you have known it, is over.”

Bob, I hope you get lots and lots of rest. Besides all the work you do in your profession, many of us at TOD truly appreciate all the work you put in keeping us sane, and fighting for TRUTH! We simply can’t afford to miss all the crucial work that you do on twitter and all your commentaries.

Thanks for sharing this post by Jim Wright! He is, without a doubt, a first rate intellect, and one of the most astute observer of our Constitutional democracy. His post is indeed a must read! I think it should be shared with the President, all members of Congress and all the media people. I also strongly feel that all members of Congress must be required to re-read Article I, Sections 7 & 8, of the Constitution, as well as Section 4 of the 14th Amendment, to fully grasp their solemn Constitutional responsibility to pass a budget and make sure that U.S. debts are paid! It’s really very sad that so many members of Congress, as well as many members of the media, despite their superficial claims to the contrary, appear to have never read Article I, Sections 7 & 8 of the Constitution.

    • October 6, 2013 at 11:41 am

So glad Bob is on our side. He is a fierce with his tweeting!
      Thank you Bob.

Could not agree with you more, nath re: Article I, Sections 7 & 8, of the Constitution, as well as Section 4 of the 14th Amendment – they yap about the Constitution, all the while demonstrating that even if they’ve seen the words they do not remotely begin to Act in Accordance with the Law that they have Sworn to Serve.

It really is surreal. Dems don’t fight so hard for things that are right. Republicans are moving heaven and earth (and killing their own party – and constituents) to subvert democracy. Plus, killing a plan that originated on the right….
