I totally second everything you said about UT! She is definitely one of the young people who gives me so much hope that this country is in good hands from future generations. UT is smart, knowledgeable, fearless, and very wise beyond her age. She is also lots of fan when it comes to her passion for soccer (football as they call it in most countries). The rivalry between her and Chips amuses me very much. Although I don’t have any particular favorite soccer teams, I do love the game which I played in my college days in the 1960s.
Oh my, they are perfect–beautifully matched in every way. All of PBO’s fatigue seems to vanish when he’s with Michelle. His love for her revitalizes him. They function magnificently apart, but together–they’re just magical.
Many of the GOP in congress are truly dumb – they probably have NO idea that there is any government spending that they cannot stop. Sarah Palin started the trend of “vote for the dumbest person you can find” – John McCain’s shame indeed.
I truly think some of them do not know – there is some serious stupid. Others, however, are pandering to the dumb of their constituents and know full well what they are doing.
I have issues with CREDO because it’s been one of the most vocal emoprog organizations against president Obama. I reluctantly signed the petition. But it’s absolutely important for TOD family to know that CREDO has been one of the “holier than thou progressive” organizations undermining President Obama at almost every turn.
