Comedy chat – The genius of “HISHE”

When it seems like the world is whirling too much in a maelstrom, one needs to stand back, take a breath, and laugh.

“HISHE” is the Youtube sensation “How It Should Have Ended”. They’re short animation clips which present alternate—and more logical—endings for Hollywood blockbusters.

So, without further ado, it’s time for the funny.

(FYI, there are spoilers in these clips, so if you haven’t seen the movies and still want to see them, don’t play the clips.)

“Oblivion”

“Prometheus”

“Pulp Fiction”

“Super Mario Brothers”

“Return of the Jedi” (my favorite)

“Mortal Kombat”

For more hilariousness, go to their YouTube page here.

Laugh! It’s good for you, and it’ll piss off Pat Robertson.

There Rev. Al with Richard Wolffe up there again. He said that neither Obama or Boehner is talking about jobs. Wolffe is lying, what has happen to him. I turn it cause I didn’t want to heard him.

Only half way through them LL, but they’re flippin’ hilarious – the Pulp Fiction one made me howl. And the animation is fantastic!

This was a tweet from yesterday, but it’s a nice reminder that good news can sneak by while MSM is squeaking and squawking.

Each time I see a picture of AG Holder I’m reminded that he is doing good work along with the CiC.

As an African American, I am so very proud that we have not one, but two Black men in powerful positions in the United States government and they do us Proud – no drugs, sex, infidelity, or gambling scandals anywhere to be found.

If you ask me, GGail, they both have too much PRESENCE, SMILE, HOT-NESS, CONFIDENCE, ?? – too much potential to cause certain other people to be led astray, if only in thoughts. /add ‘innocent’ smilie here please/

I was nowhere near TOD, when I heard you telepathically call me over. Something about being led astray and men with HOTNESS, two of my favorite attributes in the male species. Now, I must get back to what I was doing, before you post something that will really get me in trouble.

‘before you post something that will really get me in trouble.’

No worries – that’s exclusively CC’s talent! Me, I was only checking if you were within calling distance. 😉

AG Holder gave a remarkable speech at the commemoration, and was very well received.

I’m sure he did. He’s such a good, sincere speaker. The way he performs his office really does remind me of POTUS AND of my grandma repeated reinforcement of the adage ‘Show me your company and I’ll tell you who you are.’

AG Holder mentioned at the commemoration that his wife has a true family connection to the civil rights movement … he mentions it in this speech from earlier this year:

“My wife, Sharon, and I are proud to have a family connection to the Civil Rights Movement here in Alabama. 50 years ago this June – with Justice Department officials at their sides – two brave young students stepped past Governor George Wallace to integrate the University of Alabama. Sharon’s sister, Vivian Malone, was one of those brave students. And, although Vivian passed away a few years ago – far too soon – I know she’s here with us in spirit today.”

So many people fought so hard to move toward ‘that more perfect union’ that it’s kind of sad it doesn’t stir the nation more deeply that Boehner’s idjiits want to take the country backwards.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY YOU DO HERE?

    By JM Ashby

    ————————————–

No one is asking Todd or others in the media to ‘sell the law,’ however we do expect supposed journalists in the news media to report what is accurate. And if you don’t consider reporting what is accurate to be your job, then what do you consider to be your job? What would you say you do here?

Access journalism is a terrible thing, and if the brains at MSNBC believe turning themselves into another CNN is a good idea, the network is in even bigger trouble than I thought.

Chgo news reports that there was a shooting today along the “safe passage”, the route home from school for elementary school kids. Reported that teachers came to their rescue and got them to “go to ground”, and no one was injured. Is this really happening in America? That school kids have to dodge bullets, “go to ground”, on their way home from school??? Please, please, please——this gun issue. We need to surpass the passion of the gun nuts and demand—–demand!—-that something changes with this insane gun culture that exists in this country at present.

We’ve been demanding. The effin’ GOP ain’t listening. Nothing will happen until we kick those bastards out of office.

Good thing they allow guns in National Parks now. . .

    WOMAN STOPS GRIZZLY ATTACK
Here is a story of self-control and calm under pressure by a woman facing a fierce predator. What is the smallest caliber you trust to protect yourself? The .25 cal. Beretta Jetfire? Here’s her story:

“While out hiking in Alberta Canada with my husband we were surprised by a huge grizzly bear charging at us from out of nowhere. She must have been protecting her cubs because she was extremely aggressive. If I had not had my little Beretta Jetfire with me I would not be here today! Just one shot to my husband’s knee cap was all it took. The bear got him and I was able to escape by just walking away at a brisk pace. It’s one of the best pistols in my collection. “
