My President looks tired which is totally expected after a long night and past few days. Despite the fatigue, he still looks good as usual 🙂

You understand why whenever this man has to give a prime time address, the MSM gets so nervous and worked-up….

Aren’t there audiences that aren’t even counted? CSpan, online streaming…..for two? I’m sure that number is higher. Those pundits know that when he gives a speech, they get their largest audiences.
Okay……I’m going out on a limb here, maybe, but I miss Keith Olbermann at these events. He could slash through the bull puckey and bring it home. He could shut up Tweety with a glance…..it was a joy to behold.

You are right carolyn. Nielsen doesn’t count CSPAN Viewers, and I’m not sure about the online streaming. The Reuters article actually said “more than 32M Viewers” so they acknowledged that 32M was the bottom limit….

That’s a lot of viewers watching and listening to such an “unpopular’ president. The haters on both sides of the political divide will hate this too!

Good for Gary Sinise. I know he’s been a pretty staunch RWer, but apparently not full RWNJ like Pat Sajak or Pat Boone!

America, I’m proud to call him my President and her my First Lady. Despite all the B.S. from the right and left, from the MSM, I do not wish I would have voted for anyone else but Barack Obama.

Another angry old white guy with many emotional problems that he just can’t come to terms with. Why can’t he take all that energy and use it to help people UNDERSTAND each other and promote PEACE.
No…can’t have that, that would be the “good” thing to do.

Sometimes you must stand up for right even if you have to stand alone. I believe POTUS is standing up for right. Republicans playing politics, Democrats being cowardly.

    September 11, 2013 at 7:23 pm

Okay, I can safely suggest that the ladies volunteering with POTUS at the Food & Friends pantry are card-carrying members of the “Naughty Mat Club”.

From the photos, either Mr. Pete Souza just “maliced” them or they spent a notable amount of time just gazing adoringly at PBO (just like any self-respecting person would do in such proximity – I am not judging)

Amen’ and amen. But I did get a chuckle out of picturing PBO in a hair net rather than stylin’ that cap!! Not on his life, eh??? 😆

        September 11, 2013 at 9:24 pm

thought of the hair net crossed my mind & I giggled.

but the I remembered that PBO has previously said that politicians have to be very careful about the stuff they put on their head

This is worth passing on. Anyone who knows Obama will instantly see that he simply employed the logic of appealing to Putin on that very basis. The Russian leader is, after all, a man whose vanity is legendary. Of course the RW and MSM also fell prey to the same stealth negotiation.

OT, but awwwww, people are nice. Teachers at the school in Indy where my daughter teaches threw a surprise baby shower for her today—-brought in all kinds of food goodies, beautiful cake—–and my daughter couldn’t believe that so many teachers who are not really close friends went to all this work to make beautiful gifts—-spent hours and days and weeks making beautiful baby blankets and picture frames and hand knit cardigan sweaters and booties —–were all real proud of their handiwork. One teacher said “Remember last spring when I asked you what your favorite creature was and you gave me an odd look and said “butterflies”?—–well, that’s why there are butterflies on your baby blanket—-there was a purpose to that question.” Daughter said even the asst. principal showed up with a big gift bag with all kinds of items, including a onesie in the school colors, and said they couldn’t wait to get her back (after maternity leave) “because “everyone here loves you.”. So nice. Most people are so good-hearted and so nice, I was reminded.

So glad for you and your daughter, dotster. Nothing makes moms happier than for their children to do well or be treated well. This is a day she will treasure. Is Indy close enough that you can go for the birth, and then be a frequent grandma? I hope so. When is the grandchild coming?

Dotster3, what a beautiful gift for your daughter to receive from her co-workers at her school. Some goodness still resides in the heart of so many wonderful people. May goodness continue to come to you, your lovely daughters, and your grandchild on the way. May the angels sing with those lovely butterflies in the heart of your lovely daughter. A leader doesn’t need force when he or she is confident that what they are doing is the correct thing for the correct reasons. A leader is able to negotiate and discuss diplomatically and almost always gets their way in the end.
These pundidiots want the President to be an LBJ or an ABM (angry black man) and they STILL don’t get that is not his MO.

Never thought the NY Times would feature op eds from “Vladimir V. Putin” – the US media has reached the bottom of the barrel
So when is the Russian press going to present an op ed from Barack H. Obama? Of yes – Putin would not allow that to happen.
