President Obama’s Press Conference

“Over 1400 people were gassed, over 400 of them were children ….. I was elected to end wars, not start them, but there are times we have to make hard choices if we’re going to stand up for the things we care about.”

No one wants to see even the backside of that tub of lard. It’s evident by the expression on PBO’s handsome face who that whinger is.. How does he get to go on these trips, never doing a damn thing to distinguish himself or bring any level of clarity to a subject. I would like to keep this pic just for the visual of PBO, but I won’t because of that mofo blob in center frame.

Oh you noticed that did ya? Well, maybe he had a secret earpiece hidden so his minions could feed him his answers!, like we did with W. (oops, probaby shouldn’ta said that). Maybe he’s got a some kinda secret brain implant that let’s them communicate with him! Huh? D’ya think of that? What about THAT? You know he’s evil. You know he is! Daggnabit! 😡

Hey, Did you like that? That was my impression of one of them there what-do-you-call-ems … uh, Wingers? Yeh, that’s the ticket!! 😀

I thought it was a great press conference. For a change I thought all the questions were good including the NSA question on Brazil and Mexico. I have no issue with them pushing to see if he would elaborate on if Congress votes it down. I think that’s what they should be doing as I think most people are curious about that. But of course it is the right answer to say that it’s not going to be answered at this time.

POTUS just does an AMAZING job of saying the right thing with the right tone and not being afraid to go into elaborate explanation on anything with facts and figures and nuance and respect for the listener’s ability to understand it. I could not IMAGINE being able to do that knowing every word is being parsed by citizens and politicians and media around the world. Frankly, he’s beyond brilliant. I don’t know what that term is but he’s there. 🙂

Texas State Sen. Wendy Davis (D) announced that her father, Jerry Russell, passed away early Thursday morning. He was 77.

“It is with great sadness that I share that Jerry Russell, my dearly loved father, died early yesterday morning surrounded in love and prayer by our extended family and so many who share our love for Dad,” Davis said in a statement on Friday. “My family would like to welcome members of the theatre, Fort Worth, and greater community to join us for a tribute in Jerry’s honor on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 6:30 pm at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center located at 1300 Gendy Street in Fort Worth.”

So sad to lose a parent at any age. I’m sure he was extremely proud of what a phenomenal woman his daughter has become. Condolences to the family.

All this Obamania in Russia – hmm….

I thought Snowden was the star in Russia…at least that’s what the US media and emoprogs told me.

      September 6, 2013 at 12:54 pm

The photos don’t lie…there’s only one shining star in Russia, and it’s our POTUS.

Also, if I remember correctly, the President said that he and Putin didn’t mention Snowden…only things that are of interest to both of them. At this point, our President couldn’t give a flying f**k about Snowden.

Indeed Wil Tal. Snowden is as irrelevant as the 13,456th snowflake that fell on the streets of Utah in 1973.

I follow Alan Grayson on Twitter. I had to restrain myself to give him a piece of my mind after listening to his diatribe before the TV cameras. It is one thing to differ from the President’s views on Syria; it is another to go on a rant as he does. Thanks for sharing those 2 tweets.

      • September 6, 2013 at 12:25 pm

It is completely mindless and childish to think that all conflict can be avoided in this dangerous modern world, and everything will be just fine. No thinking human being is allowed to be that stupid, and certainly not be in the position to effect world policy. Frankly, he sent a chill down my spine. Especially since he’ll be the first to come whining that we don’t care about children when it’s his pet issue. Disgusting.

Trust me, if PBO decided not to retaliate against Syria for using CW, Grayson would be calling PBO a heartless coward. Being anti-PBO helps his fundraising and gets him TV time. He is scum.

Michelle Bachmann was the media’s darling just 2 years ago, as many of us can recall. Now Karma is paying her a nice visit. Similarly, Anthony Weiner, who was an MSM favorite to bash PBO during the entire Obamacare debate is now the object of ridicule even in his home city. Meanwhile, Obamacare is law of the land, thriving, and here to stay.

Alan Grayson had better start taking notes….

WASHINGTON — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has formally introduced the resolution giving President Barack Obama the authority to use military force against Syria.

Reid filed the measure on Friday during a brief Senate session. Lawmakers return from their five-week recess on Monday and will begin to debate the resolution.

A vote to move ahead on the resolution is expected on Wednesday.

Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph.

A few days ago, Mark Knoller tweeted this on multiple occasions, and I corrected him immediately…

    And now we’re seeing this…

That’s why I tell people to take media reports on any issue remotely pertaining to PBO with a micro-grain of salt. That includes reports on Syria as well. The MSM LOVES to try to elevate irrelevant fools like Snowden at the President’s expense, and they’re only successful in doing so to the extent that WE allow them to.

I am really looking forward to hearing this speech today from Ambassador Power. For anyone who missed it, check out her comments on Syria yesterday at the United Nations.

(VIDEO) New U.S. Envoy to U.N. Strongly Condemns Russia

Samantha Power, the new United States ambassador to the United Nations, strongly criticized Russia on Thursday in her first extensive public remarks about Syria, accusing the Kremlin of holding the Security Council hostage by blocking even modest efforts to condemn the use of chemical weapons in the Syrian conflict.

She said Russia’s actions signaled there was no “available path forward at the Security Council.”
