I thought it was a great press conference. For a change I thought all the questions were good including the NSA question on Brazil and Mexico. I have no issue with them pushing to see if he would elaborate on if Congress votes it down. I think that’s what they should be doing as I think most people are curious about that. But of course it is the right answer to say that it’s not going to be answered at this time.
POTUS just does an AMAZING job of saying the right thing with the right tone and not being afraid to go into elaborate explanation on anything with facts and figures and nuance and respect for the listener’s ability to understand it. I could not IMAGINE being able to do that knowing every word is being parsed by citizens and politicians and media around the world. Frankly, he’s beyond brilliant. I don’t know what that term is but he’s there. 🙂

It is completely mindless and childish to think that all conflict can be avoided in this dangerous modern world, and everything will be just fine. No thinking human being is allowed to be that stupid, and certainly not be in the position to effect world policy. Frankly, he sent a chill down my spine.
