Spandan calls out the PL…and he pulls NO punches

Let me be clear: if all the self-proclaimed representatives of the loud Left in this country are going to be good for is to continue to be Assange and Greenwald’s bitch (yeah, this language is warranted), then frankly, their usefulness in America is at an end. We do not need more mouthpieces for far-Right, racist, mysogynistic, anti-government propaganda masquerading as liberals. If that’s what you want to do, go join the Republican party, or for that matter, go join the Libertarians.

    Ooooooooooooooooooo WEEEEE!

BOOM!!! These frauds need to be exposed and called out. Bravo Spandan!!! 🙂 🙂

Spandan is great! An absolutely superb article.

Spandan, along with Bob Ceska and Smartypants, has been magnificent in exposing these libertarian frauds who pose as liberal progressives. I hope real liberal/progressives will soon wake-up and smell the Coffee!

Pf, this needs to be said in a very public way and Spandan just doesn’t get enough of an audience. He would actually be an excellent guest on tv, but cowardly pundits wouldn’t have the nerve to ask him. It’s so much easier for them to mouth GG talking points and criticize the president then tell the truth.

oh that totally is a great article by Spandan. He’s always provides a great analysis of what is happening. In this case it’s what is happening ie, the loud left screaming about how virtuous the likes of Assange is and what he’s really about – an extreme far right person espousing dangerous ideas.

We gotta tweet this one up pretty foot

UT – Love how you gather all these “like” photos and bring ’em to us. The last one you posted here always makes me proud that President Obama remains “one of us.” What a mighty fine man he is!

Good night TOD. I swear this is my last bit on this whole darn subject about NSA/Snowden/Greenwald et al.

Does a discussion needs to happen…yes. There should be adult discussion…yes.

But tell me how can you have these conversation when one party seems to be more interested in getting headlines and page clicks and sensationalism (particularly The Guardian and you know what, I would include Greenwald in this group too). Here’s the thing, I’m not as computer saavy as some people, but even I know there are “stelthier” ways to exchange information, isn’t there?

We know this, I damn sure bet Greenwald knows this, and damn sure bet Snowden knows this. So the use of his partner, and NOT just any random journo was blatant and deliberate to grab the attention of journos and headline makers across US and non-journos by giving them a more sympathethic, “he’s not even a journalist”, type of figure than Greenwald, Snowden, et al.

which is fine I guess (it is a classic tactic used in civil disobedience) but damn, don’t be too cute by half and act like it wasn’t a deliberate decision to do it and get mad cause the “sensationalism” wins out over the deep discussion and completely muddles the conversation.

that’s a great moment. president obama initiates it, yet “liberal” gordon brown treats the policeman as an accessory and makes no contact. brown felt forced to acknowledge the guy at least since president obama he just gone over and shaken his hand.

i shook president obama’s hand a few years ago along a rope line and he actually looked back at me after passing by, since I said, “fired up!” and he took a second to smile and point back at me and winked and said, “that’s right.” he knew I knew.

he does this every single day he’s been president. i feel the obamas and the bidens know that in 8 years, they’ll never completely undo the stranglehold “the news” has on the public discourse, so they’re just going to do it by face-to-face interaction with as many people as humanly possible, and hope enough of those people then tell their friends and family about how cool he was, and it’ll create a ripple effect under the media radar. i think that’s already been bearing fruit, and the 2012 win was a direct reflection of this, i hope to god the 2014 midterms will do the same. forward!!!!!!

Did you guys see this? Tomorrow is World Humanitarian Day and Beyonce and Kid President are getting involved. A couple of very cute videos are on this link. One is Kid President interviewing Beyonce and the other KP by himself. It was on the United Nations twitter feed. What a little doll this kid is!

Just have to say everybody should see The Butler. The first few minutes are very difficult to watch, but really the entire film must be seen.

Forrest & Oprah were magnificent as I expected, as was the extraordinary David Oyelowo (I wanna this young get a Best Supporting Actor nom — he just ate up the screen; couldn’t take my eyes off him). I most loved the family scenes – especially their humor, which reminded me so much of my own family – and the camaraderie between the staff at the White House. That Lenny Kravitz is one sexy mofo (in case I haven’t said that in the last five minutes. Golly he’s phoine!). There are some areas I wish they could have expanded on, but I know they wanted to keep the run time to 2 hrs.

Anyway some of the casting was surprising and very interesting. I didn’t really care for Robin Williams as Ike or James Marsden as JFK. I wanted to like John Cusack as Nixon, but I just kept seeing Lloyd from “Say Anyhting” with a little age on him. 🙂 By contrast, Liev Schreiber as LBJ, Alan Rickman as Reagan, and Jane Fonda were inspired choices.

Oh thank you for posting this. I’ve been looking for this since I’ve had sound on my iPad. I missed it because I was crying, just crying. I couldn’t believe it happened even though some said it was predicted. I thought I’d be jumping up and down and cheering like I did when my team won the Super Bowl the first time. No I cried with joy. Don’t remember doing that before. 😀

THIS! “I want them to see what’s out there,” she said. “(Daisha’s) in the real world (and) my son will be in the real world in a couple years. It’s sad to say, but there are people out there that are like this and I want them to know to stand tall, chest out.”

    Bottom line ….

The sweet irony and delicious karma of the 1st truly African, American President catalyzing a Constitutional Amendment to enable 1s Generation Immigrants to ascend to the Presidency may well prove to be one of his greatest achievements. Without ANY DOUBT, Samantha Power could not be that very powerful catalyst!!!

While the Trayvon Martin verdict may have created a media feeding frenzy around Florida’s years-old “Stand Your Ground” law, federal courts across the country have handed down three significant decisions this month that have buoyed gun control proponents.
