LOL! Did any of us care to see Bush eating ice cream or any other food for that matter?

      HF, please.
I could not stand to see that man just sit there and do nothing. That is the only thing he did very well.

For a guy born with a silver foot in his mouth (as Ann Richards so entertainingly put it), W has bad manners.

So no, even his fans wouldn’t pay to see him eat any. And forget out his father… vomiting in the Japanese PM’s lap.

Let’s not talk about other presidents, OK? 😉

Oh my, vomiting in his lap?
I do not want to see pics of that even if there are some. But seriously, that did happen?
How disgusting……that alone would have been enough to start World War III. Ugh!

UT, I think you “forgot ” 2 other relevant PBO-Ice-Cream Facts:

    – PBO loves Ice Cream so much that his first job was at Baskin-Robbins;

    – PBO was able to get (“earned” or “won”) his first kiss from FLOTUS after they shared ice cream

It looks like he might be eating my very favorite, hot fudge sunday!

Something has been bugging me all day. Heard Priebus didn’t want NBC, CNN to host any debates next year because of a Hillary TV movie. Don’t we have Citizens United thanks to a potential Hillary TV movie? He just doesn’t want the country to see the idjits running.

    FYI Syria ….

“Jordan let a Syrian opposition leader cross into Syria from its territory for the first time on Thursday, signalling greater backing from an Arab ally for the opposition battling against President Bashar al-Assad.

The president of the opposition Syrian National Coalition crossed into Syria to attended Eid al-Fitr holiday prayers at a mosque in the contested border province of Deraa.

The brief visit of Ahmad Jarba to Tel Shehab, which would likely have required approval from Jordanian authorities, was seen by Syrian opposition sources as reflecting a shift in Amman towards more public support for Assad’s opponents.”

    “Al Arabiya

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s motorcade, which was heading to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers on Thursday in Anas bin Malik Mosque in Damascus, was targeted, but state television showed him unharmed and the government denied the attack.

Tahrir al-Sham rebel brigade, a unit of the Free Syrian Army, said several artillery shells were fired at Assad’s convoy after the opposition had secret information on his movements in al-Amaween Square located in the heart of the Syrian capital.

Head of Tahrir al-Sham, General Firas al-Bitar, told Al Arabiya that he cannot verify whether Assad was wounded or not as there were two convoys, one of them being a decoy.

Bitar said his fighters fired 120 mm artillery at the convoy.”

As long as I’m talking to myself I’ll complain about the idjits on FB who are going to have a blackout on FB the 25th of Aug. The RWNJ think they’re being shut out by FB. Well who is going to miss them? 😆 🙄

    • August 8, 2013 at 10:09 pm

      I’m not on Facebook.

What is happening on Aug 25th?

      • August 8, 2013 at 10:31 pm

The conservatives are having an “event” on the 25th, 24 hrs. Just to protest that they think they’re being discriminated against by FB. What they don’t realize is that no one wants to hear their stupidity any more. I only know because it’s from a cousin. I have her in restricted because she’s my cousin. Otherwise I’d block her. She is a WIsconsin R. But she loves dogs. Always have to find the good. I didn’t click on the link so I don’t know details. I don’t know why 25th. Maybe because it’s day after the March.
        🙄

Does this “event” mean they will be on Facebook or they will not be on Facebook on the 25th? I have most on ignore anyway because I find them tiresome and irritating. I don’t want to be bombarded by crazy crap if they are going to be all over Facebook that day and will just stay off it.

          • August 8, 2013 at 11:51 pm

They are boycotting it I guess. I hate to click on their links because of the ads that then show up on my newsline. So I don’t know details or why they think they’re being picked on by FB.

You’ve probably seen most of these pictures already, but here’s a photo gallery of 29 photos of the President’s visit to Camp Pendleton, CA. The story is by USA Today.

“Yemen oil industry the target of Al Qaeda terror plot

    Hakim Almasmari
    Aug 8, 2013

SANAA // Yemen’s government thwarted an audacious terrorist plot to kidnap foreign workers and take control of the country’s oil facilities.

It is the first indication of the nature of the threat posed by Al Qaeda that prompted the closure of US diplomatic missions in Yemen and across the region since Sunday.

Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula had planned to seize oil and gas export facilities in Yemen on Sunday, said Rajeh Badi, a spokesman for the prime minister’s office.

The plot also involved smuggling explosives into Sanaa on Sunday to carry out attacks in the capital, and was uncovered with western and Arab help, Mr Badi said.”

“Terror alert: Drone strikes in Yemen, arrests in Saudi Arabia

    print

    By Carol J. Williams

    4:27 p.m. CDT, August 8, 2013

As a security alert kept millions on edge throughout the Muslim world, suspected U.S. drone attacks in Yemen killed 12 alleged militants Thursday, and Saudi security forces arrested two foreign men they say were plotting suicide attacks in the region.

The drone strikes and the arrests in Saudi Arabia of a Yemeni and a Chadian — reported to have issued “messages of incitement and hatred” through social media — reflected the intense vigilance pervading police and military forces across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia at the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The three drone strikes in Yemen brought the total since July 27 to eight and the death toll to 34. The stepped-up pace of targeted killings may be thinning the ranks of Al Qaeda-aligned extremists, but it has also intensified anger among Yemeni citizens who consider the aerial bombardments a violation of their sovereignty and a reckless practice that at times kills innocents.

The latest drone strikes were reported by the Yemen Post, among other media, which took note of the growing public alarm over the rockets fired from unmanned aircraft.”

Emoprog trash like Hayes, Greenwald, etc., have no clue and are treacherously harmful to Americans, btw. Fortunately, PBO and our NS team don’t give a shit about their incessant whining.

Thanks again Bob. What ever happened to “politics stops at the waters edge?”

    • August 8, 2013 at 10:23 pm

Thank you, Bobfr, for providing this information.

The media is usually worthless, but even more so in August. Ladyhawke is right: they’re really just overpaid gossip reporters.

Those Snowdenwald (57andFemale, thank you!) cultists who aren’t racists are Ivory Tower dreamers. Here’s one coming to Hayes’ defense last night:

If the first thing you think of to defend your cult is a book or paper, without considered how actual non-elites might think, then you’re not worth listening to.

And for those west coasters who missed this when I posted this around noon today…

We may have thieves, but they’re not misogynists (even in an inland RWNJ hotbed):
