Safe travels AMK. Have a fantastic journey.

    • July 28, 2013 at 8:57 am

Be safe, amk. That’s the main thing. Good morning to all TODer’s.

I have searched and searched for the link to this story, but cannot find it. Small article in our paper yesterday: “Fleishmann welcomes Obama, tartly.” It’s Cong. Fleishmann’s “welcome” to PO for his trip to Chattanooga this week. The whole thing is tart and scarastic….sounds like a 12-year old boy who is trying to look important. I’ll just do the last paragraph: “A Fleishmann spokesman said the congressman “wanted to take a minute to remind him……that our great state is doing well in spite of, rather than because of his policies.” Well guess what, Congressman Fleishman–If PO had not saved ALL of the auto industry, this state would be in serious, serious trouble. Our unemployment would be very high. And, oh yeah, if PO were not pursuing the energy policies he is pursuing, Oak Ridge wouldn’t be doing so well either.

Hate, hate, hate…..that’s all these people know. Sigh………..

Tn, so all this congressman Fleishmann succeeded in doing is showing what a small minded idiot he is. This little man will never be anything other than he is and he will be lost in the dust piles of history. PBO is already great and will always be remembered as one of our greatest president. If the congressman gains any wisdom in his old age, he may realize that meeting PBO was the best thing that ever happened to him.

Two plan changes? Oh you poor thing! Time to get your pilot’s license AND your own plane. Heck, get the plane AND your own pilot, that way you can relax during the ride.

Have a safe trip and a good Sunday until then!

Haven’t a clue where the ‘e’ from ‘plane’ disappeared to, but wherever it went, hope it’s having fun.

Waiting in my hotel room for the kids and my wife to wake up. We’re leaving San Diego for Legoland in Carlsbad this morning. The crumb snatchers still have no idea. I can’t wait to see their little faces when they see where the car is going!

    Next up Anthony Weiner?

Italy’s first black minister has a banana thrown at her during party rally speech

Italy’s first black minister has condemned a spectator who threw bananas towards her while she was making a speech at a party rally.

Integration minister Cecile Kyenge, who was born in Democratic Republic of Congo, has angered far-right groups with her campaign to make it easier for immigrants to gain Italian citizenship.

She has been a target of racist slurs since her appointment in April.
Insulted: Cecile Kyenge, 48, who was born in Democratic Republic of Congo and moved to Italy when she was 18, said Dolores Valandro’s words were an ‘insult to all Italians’

Rikyrah, Sadly, racism and hatred know no geographical boundaries. I would be willing to bet that most Italians are repelled by these antics and embarrassed by the image this portrays of their country.

Racism is not just here in the United States. It’s every where were some people think they are superior to others because of the color of their skin.

UT, thanks for the wakeup this morning. The weather has been sapping my energy this summer–from extreme, unbearable heat, to overcast, rainy days, so some days are a struggle This is the week of our county fair and we have to keep our booth staffed and well-supplied from 2:00 to 9:00 each day for a week–then do all the takedown and hauling next Saturday. Next up is our Latino picnic in August where we’re expecting hundreds of people and are going to need lscads of volunteers. A lot of people become apathetic in off year elections and it’s a constant battle to rally enough troops to get the big jobs done. But people had better start revving their motors for 2014 because I’m going to be relentless about getting everybody off their seats and out into the community to register voters, talk issues and get out the vote.

Morning all you O’s!!!! Another great getting up day in the TOD universe. The sun rose in the east again this morning, our keyboards are at the ready, and even though some are still in disbelief, the results of the last election was deemed official, and all is well. There’s only one set of alphabets that matter and it’s not MSM…it’s PBO, POTUS, FLOTUS, VPOTUS, OFA, GOTV…..

Positive vibes to all my O’s today!!!
