Kudos to the majority of Americans who voted for President Obama and VP Biden. As far as I am concerned, they are the best team in the history of the American presidency. I’ve said this before but I will say it every chance I get: If VP Joe Biden decides that he wants to run for the presidency in 2016, I will be the first person in line to offer my complete support. I will not listen to any lame excuses about his age. I am absolutely convinced that he is the right person to continue the policies of President Obama in which he has actively participated in formulating. I trust Joe Biden. I respect Joe Biden. And I’ve come to truly love his enthusiasm for life and his genuine love for people. On top of that, he has a fabulous wife who is equally committed to helping people.

I hope you will all join me in supporting VP Biden for President in 2016! I would love to once again up-end the media that’s already decided who the 2016 Democratic nominee for president would be. After the 2014 mid-term elections, I will write to VP Joe Biden to strongly urge him to run.

Hi anniebella. I can’t wait to see the photos from their time in Hawaii. They are going to spend some time there on their way home. I love our VPOTUS and SLOTUS. We are so blessed to have such a great team.

I was also thinking of how beautiful to know that POB had his Cabinet and their families up at Camp David. That had to be a beautiful site to see and know that they were all up there with POB. We have such a great team working for the American people and the world, for that matter.

Oh, my gracious, and to think that we had something to do with all of this. My goodness, what a joy!!

    LOVE this photo.

    Love Biden. Biden 2016!

Love him so much, reposting this gem from India earlier this week.

Great pic! Arapaho, I hope you will join me in supporting VP Joe Biden for President in 2016. I don’t want to hear anything about his age. A great many of the world leaders he has to deal with are older than him. In my humble opinion, Democrats would be stupid not to nominate Joe Biden for President in 2016.

Don’t know if ericfive is lurking here on this fine Friday night (kind of douibt it), but he believes that the GOP civil war will be their undoing.

I think things are only going to get worse for GOP unity as 2014 elections approach, something the MSM blissfully ignores (I think they believe this too, but ignore the facts in front of them, promoting the narrative that the GOP is shoo-in to gain control of the Senate, and to retain control of the House).

Can’t believe I missed absolutely everything today, and am only able now to wave ‘hi and [a 15min] bye’ as there is much to do before I sleep! My mind was on the village frequently, even though I wasn’t able to peek in [in fact I left the computer on hibernate the entire time, anticipating a free moment that just did not happen]. I’ll be back Sunday to catch -up. Take good care of each other, and exceptionally good care of the O’s! ๐Ÿ˜€

    • July 26, 2013 at 10:47 pm

Sending good thoughts to you for tomorrow, VC. Keep your head about you, and check in on TOD at the end of the day for some lightness, after a hard day taking care of the family. Take care…

Thanks, Theo, I definitely need good thoughts! Am sitting down to write the eulogy from 3 (written) sides of paper ๐Ÿ™„ my sibling gave me this noon. She doesn’t feel she can do it herself, husband can’t either, so they volunteered me. Of course, one encouraging thing for me is that I KNOW you guys are behind me.

OTH – How’s the journey going so far? Have you encountered anyone [(ahem) French] of interest along the way? Take a number for me please. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰

You’re strong enough to do it – that’s why they asked you. It’s a good thing you’re doing. ๐Ÿ™‚

As for interesting characters found along our journey – a few along the way, but good for looking only… ๐Ÿ˜‰

๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’m suddenly grinning at the thought of the far-in-er we met last time.

Are you (almost) home already, and was it the kind of drive that would be fun to repeat? I’m toying very vaguely with the idea of a quick trip west, as offspring has not had a holiday this year and will be wrapping up summer courses in another week. I’m thinking west, because we haven’t been and we’ve done bits of the east more than once,

Amazing though it is, Alycee – since you all are so far away – the knowledge that you are all behind me, shoulder to shoulder, really does help. Go figure! Nevertheless, I’ll honestly be truly glad when the day is over.

    http://thepoliticalcarnival.net/2013/07/26/fiddler-on-the-senate-roof/ SEDITION!

    Sedition, sedition! Sedition!

Who, day and night, must scramble for obstruction,
Starve a wife and children, say his daily lies?
And who has the right, to hold up the majority,
To completely bring their progress to a halt ?

The Mitch man, the Mitch man! Sedition.
The Mitch man, the Mitch man! Sedition.

Who knows the way to make a proper filibuster
Hold a quiet minority, use a GOP-run House?
Who must raise some hell and run the Senate floor,
So Mitch can read and obfuscate the laws?

The Mich man, the Mitch man! Sedition!
    With Boehner, with Boehner. Sedition!

Does anyone know if Myrlie Evers and Sybina Fulton have met? I wonder if there are some words of wisdom Mrs. Evers might share with Ms. Fulton to give her continued strength through what has been a very public grieving.

Just watched Sarah Slamen on Bill Maher. She is TERRIFIC, and quite capable of handling all of the bright lights. Says she may stay in Texas, rather than relocating to New York (where, she said, “the man I love” wants to return home to), at the request of lots of her fellow Texans. She’s a shining Texan star.

In the eight years of Bush-Cheney they didn’t create that many, and they didn’t have to deal with a bunch of do nothing racists politicians like this President has had too. A bunch of extreme radical tea party nuts who will destroy this country just to bring down that thing they hate, Obama.

Of course the racists Republicans would think more of a killer then they would of a black man. Doesn’t surprise me. These are the people who don’t think that blacks are worthy of being call human beings. I’m sure to them a child molester is thought more of than this black President.
