Fantastic news. Thanks to Desertflower and 57andfemale. Spread the word.

Yes, Geraldo Rivera of Fox News did tweet an almost naked picture of himself and sent everyone running to the bathroom. Anthony Bourdain had the perfect response. And with that; enjoy your day!

This guy is a Republican and is blaming “Liberal governance” No blame for GOP Gov Rick Snyder, just the AA community. Another Clarence Thomas….

Here is something that many of us forget: there are some black people who genuinely believe in “white supremacy.” This is not very hard to understand. If you live in a culture/society that teaches, practices and promotes “white supremacy” or “male supremacy” don’t be surprised if some blacks and some non-whites and some women end up believing in white supremacy and male supremacy.

This guy would dare not blame all white males for the financial collapse of 2008 or for the bankruptcy of the auto-industry, although white males were the ones in charge. Yet, he has no qualms blaming the entire African American community and not just a few AA leaders who were in govt.

There is so much TRUTH in that, nath. Thanks for your take on these topics, because sometimes it just gets overwhelming to try to weed through the “reasons why.”

The DOJ has asked for public comment on the George Zimmerman case. Stand tall and let them know you support justice for Trayvon.

    Here is our comment:

    Dear Attorney General Holder,

Thanks for taking a fine-tooth comb to review the case of George Zimmerman vs. Trayvon Martin. We hope the Justice Department can build a strong civil case against him and recognize that it will take a long time to review the evidence.

We feel strongly that George Zimmerman should be held legally accountable for the murder of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed child who was stalked by an armed vigilante after being told by authorities to stay out of it.

Even if not actually used as a defense, the wrong-headed Stand Your Ground Law in Florida influenced this case. Racism was clearly a factor in this case and so many others where African Americans are disproportionately more likely to be killed or jailed than Caucasians. That law should be deemed unconstitutional as it puts the law in the hands of untrained people like Zimmerman and prevents equal protection under the law.

We are just as outraged by the senseless death of Trayvon as we would be if one of our own children had been murdered this way. Our son wears a hoodie to work, but he’s white and works at Facebook, so he is not at risk. No one’s child should be at risk by the likes of the Zimmermans of this nation in Florida or any other state.
