Ha! That was funny. I have had many cats (not all at the same time) and they all think like this.

At first I thought — watch 3 minutes of cats? I dunno, but out of sheer curiosity. I clicked the Play button.

Bwahahahahaha!!! That was HYSTERICALLY funny! Exactly how I imagine some family cats would think & speak!

        Too funny! Thank you!! 🙂

Definitely how my current feline resident thinks! Especially about the belly rubs and feeding! “The authorities…” just cracked me up – like they were living is Stalin’s Russia!

This day is done. It was done well. We are all so blessed, with our President, our First Lady, the First Family, and each other. Goodnight. Sweetest dreams. Hugs all around, and Thank you! 🙂

LMAO! God sure has a lot to say on Twitter. Based on those tweets above, I can tell he badly wants to say something about Tavis Smiley, but is holding back for peace sake.

Say what you want about Kanye West, he may be a self-absorbed, egomaniacal man ……… but he is a creative genius. His new video……… “Black Skinhead” is something else. You can actually speed up or slow down the video frame by frame, with a middle finger cursor! http://www.kanyewest.com/

    Tonight’s moment of weird:

Okay, I just watched this strange animated video in a series about robotics advances in Japan, which posits that android brothels will be a reality in 2050. That wasn’t much of a surprise, but something they threw into story was kinda of jolt. It was the image (poor one btw) f a female POTUS chewing out Secret Service for another prostitution scandal in Columbia. I know… WTH, right? But I’ll give you two guesses who they imagined would be President then. 🙂

    • July 22, 2013 at 12:39 am

Should I be scared that you were absolutely not taken aback by the idea of android brothels being common before I shuffle off this mortal coil?

        July 22, 2013 at 12:44 am

The same question ran through my mind! The android brothels seemed so much more disturbing than their baseless projections of the future POTUS. That was pretty funny!

LOL! Man, if you saw some of these robots being developed, you’d be like “… 2050? Hell, they’ll be downtown in 5-10 yrs if not sooner!” 🙂

I was just watching one that was developed to help dental students practice on a life-like robot,. It had the entire mouth cavity, tongue and all motorized and with sensors. It had movements and actions that one might expect from a real person (e.g., with a gag reflex). Pretty amazing. I more than chucked when the presenter said they sought help from the manufacturer of “love dolls” to help with improving the texture, density and color of their robots to make them more lifelike. No shizzle, Sherlock! You know the porn industry has that kind of technology down pat. 🙂

Ok all, true to my birthday resolution, I have spent the past two hours working on my writing projects. I feel completely exhilerated. Hopefully I’ll have the novel in shape to shop to agents within a month or six weeks.

    See everyone tomorrow.

Detroit hit the Trifecta on Thursday—the third in a series of body blows that politicians have landed on the city’s working people.
The Michigan legislature passed “right-to-work” in December and gave the governor the right to impose “emergency managers” on cities two days later. When Detroit’s emergency manager Kevyn Orr announced Chapter 9 bankruptcy Thursday, he was following a predicted trajectory that will lead to further impoverishment and privatization.

This concept of GOP radicalism and governmental sabotage has to be understood far and wide. It’s not just another Congress; it’s not just partisan; it’s over-the-top sabotage of a legally elected president and established law. We have to pound this message into every ear we encounter and remind people that this kind of extreme dysfunction is what happens when they don’t vote. NO Democrat or Democratic leaning Independent can stay home in 2014. We cannot stand by and allow this deliberate destruction of democracy to continue. And John Boehner has to pay the price in disgrace. I don’t care what he loses–he’s proven himself to be the most unpatriotic Speaker of the House in history. He simply does not care about anyone or anything but himself.

This, jackie! This is not normal, this has never happened like this in our history. We are truly on the precipice of losing everything that is inherently American and every American should be terrified and doing everything to vote. And let’s be clear – we wouldn’t be in this mess if our side and young people voted in sufficient numbers. We have turned over all decision-making to a virulent few and it’s the electorate’s fault.

This is sabotage (I liked the word, hence the link). This is treason. It can easily be remedied – at the polls in 2014.

I am in the process of moving back east. When I am settled in, about the middle/end of September, I’m going to start working hard to register, or do whatever I have to, to get the word out. I was driving to Austin this past weekend and passed by a sign that said, “register to vote!” In BIG letters, visible from the highway. Very pleased to see that.

They are getting more and more pathetic everyday. I really did not think that was even possible. The projection is quite palatable. They are just trying so hard to get him to prove to them, and the rest of US, that he is an angry blackman, but he will continue to ignore them and prove them wrong.
Joe Walsh — PATHETIC…he is absolutely disgusting.

F* Wal Mart — I will never set foot in one again. If I have to walk 5 miles to the nearest store, I will. I hope these big, bloated corporations continue to go bust. Papa Johns is toast, Denny’s is toast, they are all crackling under ObamaCare. The symbolism is fantastic.

And it’s interesting, AMK, that the assumption is we should all care more about the future of a powerless monarchy than the health and well-being of our own own democratic governments. If the BBC would talk about the sabotage of the US government by the Republicans in the US Congress, I might be interested. I just can’t make myself care about a royal baby.

On this day in 1862, President Abraham Lincoln informs his chief advisors and cabinet that he will issue a proclamation to free slaves…

The issuing of the Emancipation Proclamation had less to do with ending slavery than saving the crumbling union. In an August 1862 letter to New York Tribune editor Horace Greeley, Lincoln confessed “my paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and it is not either to save or to destroy slavery.” He hoped a strong statement declaring a national policy of emancipation would stimulate a rush of the South’s slaves into the ranks of the Union Army, thus depleting the Confederacy’s labor force, on which it depended to wage war against the North. … http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/lincoln-tells-his-cabinet-about-emancipation-proclamation
