A black surgeon at UCLA who was depicted as a gorilla being sodomized in a slide show presentation will receive a $4.5million settlement after filing a racial discrimination lawsuit against the university.
Dr Christian Head, 51, filed the lawsuit against the UC Board of Regents in April after claiming he was routinely publicly humiliated.
The head and neck surgeon had alleged that he was the victim of retaliation after filing complaints and claimed he was denied teaching opportunities.
The lawsuit accused the university of failing to prevent discrimination, harassment and retaliation against Head.
The complaint said that during a resident graduation event in 2006, a slide show which was created by the residents and reviewed by staff included a photo in which Head’s face was superimposed onto a gorilla which was being sodomized by a department chairman.
As reported by the Los Angeles Times, the university said: ‘The case presented difficult issues of alleged discrimination and retaliation that were strongly contested.

Well TODers, if you soon do not hear much from me, it may be that the Secret Service or FBI have come knocking at my door. I called Coble’s office in N.C., and I was not very nice. No, I did not threaten him explicitly (but I sort of implied something). I was so angry after reading his remarks about Air Force One, I could hardly talk. I then went to his Facebook (no, I did not LIKE it) but did post a comment just to remind him that he has Federal BCBS, the Federal Employees Program insurance. He will have it for life. He may have to pay premiums from his salary, (I don’t know) but he is guaranteed this insurance and since I deal with it every day, it is very good insurance. As tax-paying citizens of the U.S., we pay for this scum to have his health insurance as a benefit of being a Federal employee. No, I better not go on. Enough said.
IMO there is no advantage to this pipeline on any level. Environmental, it does NOT create sustainable jobs, it will NOT help our energy independence. In fact I would make the point that tar sands are the fossil fuel line that should not be crossed – at the point where it is economically lucrative (read: high gas prices) to refine tar sands and shale, it’s time to seriously develop alternative energy.
The fact this goes to Port Arthur, TX which might as well be the global Wild West with no restrictions, makes me insane.

(rhetorical, she’s on planet paycheck) one of the most important moments in his first campaign was his “race speech” nd of course the countless other times he’s talked about it and his personal experiences. my god these “news” people just rewrite history every day, on every topic to try and make our president look the “inadequate BLACK MAN!!” as that hillary screamed in that cell phone video from 2008. evil people:
