Apparently, everyone is tired from all that drinking and cavorting they did during the last 24 hrs… I happen to be one of the few who abstained. Not that I’m boasting or anything.
I envy disciplined people. Any way, I was still catching up from the previous posts. I am however proud that this 4th of July I limited my self to just red wine. I never touched any beer or the hard stuff.
Ah, Ray Charles. As a student in Bologna, Italy I saw Ray Charles perform, with some other jazz performers, including Stan Goetz. Ray Charles brought down the house. They totally loved him in italy.

Lisicki shouldn’t have beat Serena, remember in the third set Serena was up 3 to 0. And for whatever reason Serena fell apart. I believe given a 3-0 lead there isn’t to many times Serena would lose.
I have done my best to stay away from the Zimmerman trial. Because honestly I can’t stand to look at George Zimmerman. But I did see some replay of Trayvon Martin’s Mother when she testified. But I did not see Zimmerman’s Mother, did anyone see her? I am so disgusted about this trial, self defense. There wouldn’t have been any shooting if Zimmerman had kept his behind in his car. Why would Zimmerman be yelling, he had the gun. And looking at the marks on Zimmerman, it didn’t look like he was being beaten to death, so why would he yell for help. He was the big bad guy who was going to get out of his car, walk around the darken neighborhood at night searching for a guy he thought was acting weird. If it was a black man who shot a 17 year old white kid, well we all know how different the story would be.
Yes, it was very short. She was there to say it was her Georgie screaming. She is a very dark Peruvian woman I think. They aso put his Uncle on who knew it was Georgie too. They didn’t seem very sympathetic to me. I didn’t see much of the trial either. I can’t stand the pundits. They’re off my TV as fast as I can click. Of course his Uncle was his mothers sister.

Lisicki has gone from crying tears of despair to screaming like a banshee on a blood-soaked battlefield in the space of about 20 minutes. But here’s Bartoli with more angles than Pythagoras to move into a 15-0 lead and she follows that with a brute of a first serve for 30-0. 🙂
