I don’t believe “thinking” enters into it, Vicki. This has the whiff of desperation about it. Here’s an energetic attractive woman who seems to relate well with people. That whole rhyming idiocy is grammar school taunting and says that McConnell has sunk very low, very quickly. Hello, Kentucky adults, you can do better than this superannuated third grader.

well I’ll say this, after watching that ad… the only thing I’ll remember is her name. Stupid move on McConnell’s part. And whats with pretending she was dancing w/ POTUS?? that’s a rhetorical question 😉

I don’t see Mitch saying he approved, so I’m going to assume this is someone’s idea of a joke. There is no way a professional, seasoned politician would think this could be an effective ad.

Snark, my dear Nathk, snark. I haven’t forgotten that Mitch was party to a meeting that conspired to share personal health info about that other potential female candidate (Ashley Judd ?) who decided not to run.

    • July 2, 2013 at 6:55 pm

What an idiot. That’s the kind of beat that wlll stick in someone’s mind right up until they’re in the voting booth. He made an ad for her.

I posted this before I noticed the new thread……A Fish 200 yrs old?

I never knew such a thing was possible.

Insurance adjuster catches 200-year-old rockfish off Alaska
Henry Liebman knew the 39.08-pound, 40-inch fish he reeled in was abnormally big. What he didn’t realize was that the beast is older than the state of Alaska itself.

I didn’t watch it. I couldn’t bring myself to do it. he looked like the same fool he’s always been. I’d had my fill after Chips POLLUTED this place with his photos earlier.

The defense actually asked why it wasn’t possible that Trayvon sat up after being shot and wiped his prints off the gun.

This is a despicable waste of taxpayer’s money. If GZ wasn’t a sociopath he would have plead out and entertained the notion of paying for taking an innocent kid’s life.

There were too many other sociopaths giving him money and telling him he did great service for his community. Whether he is found guilty or not guilty – he will be unemployable and a misery for the rest of his life.

So apparently, Paula Deen’s accuser released a statement. Seems Paula Deen’s lawyers are now trying to use the SCOTUS Prop 8 decision to say that because the accuser is a White woman, that her lawsuit is without merit because basically cause she’s white, that means the woman cannot be affected by the racial language and attitudes that contributed to the hostile environment at Deen’s restaurant.

Paula Deen’s Accuser: “This Lawsuit Has Never Been About the N-Word”

“I may be a white woman, but I could no longer tolerate her abuse of power as a business owner, nor her condonation of Mr. Hiers’ despicable behavior on a day-to-day basis,” Jackson’s statement continued. “I am what I am, and I am a human being that cares about all races, and that is why I feel it is important to be the voice for those who are too afraid to use theirs.”

      July 2, 2013 at 5:08 pm

Not understanding how the Prop 8 decision has any bearing on the Paula Deen lawsuit. SCOTUS decided a case about harassment, but not sure that would be relevant either.

‘Harm’. Standing based on whether you have been ‘harmed’ by the action named in the lawsuit.

Ok, I fully admit to baiting and trolling Corner Stone and the usual GG-bots on BJ with this one:

Glenn Greenwald Goes On ‘Fox & Friends’ (VIDEO)

And when criticized for going on Faux News, the anti-thesis to real journalism, GG’s retort, ” Hey, Obama did it too”. And Obama was also, rightly IMHO, criticized for “legitamizing Faux News”. Tell me again, how NOT obsesses with Obama GG is?

Aw, so sad…… Pierce Brosnan’s daughter died of ovarian cancer, age 41, the same disease that claimed her mother at the age of 43.

    • July 2, 2013 at 6:08 pm

Yes it’s very sad. Her maternal grandmother also died of the disease. If I were a Dr., I would’ve probably recommended that she removed her ovaries immediately after the birth of her second child. There’s clearly a strong genetic component in this family.

//“[People] are like ‘Oh! It’s the Bo dog!’,” says Alanna Looney from Norwood, Massachusetts. She has owned Portuguese Water Dogs for five years now and was showing her dog at Westminster this year. //

Who knows what’s going on with Snowden.

We don’t know if he’s dead or alive, whether he actually arrived in Moscow. He hasn’t been seen since Hong Kong, and Lord knows there are plenty of people on the lookout for him.

          @BreakingNews just sent these tweets:
