Chips – Another image that perfectly captures what “hope and change” means in our current lives. Never saw that heartwarming photo before. Thanks so much.
Helloooooooo Jacqueline, it really is a stunning image, thanks again to Carol for emailing it me. I had seen it a long time ago, but had forgotten about it.
I’m getting a bad feeling about this. I hope they can both meet again somehow for a last meeting. I’m sure Obama will take time to do this, and shortly after he arrives in South Africa. Perhaps he can reschedule and go there for his first stop.
I’m glad I found it. Two weeks ago I googled the two names, hoping that I would find more pictures of Michelle’s trip. I didn’t know that Obama himself had gone as a Senator, and was delighted to find the picture of them actually meeting.
Nelson Mandela is the greatest living human — one of the greatest who ever lived. It’s inevitable that he will be gone soon but I am very sad about it.
Brilliant, Ms. Chips. You have a way of Making a profound statement in Words, Pictures, Videos, Tweets, Cartoons…..the Japa one is so Perfect, etc. Truly a jack……a Chips 😉 of all trades and Master……Mayoress of it all.
I missed cervical cancer in Africa being an issue of W’s when he was in office. Being that he owes people in NOLA something he could help out at the free clinic there over July 4.
Well Bill, he would not get any media coverage then..The media is going to love this! Anything to avoid covering this President! Now they will be able to say what a great man Bushie is, so caring, doing such great things for the African people.
A part of me ‘fears’ Mr. Mandela will gracefully pass on before PBO arrives in Africa, and another part hopes I’m way off. I would like the two to meet again one more time, but I keep remembering that people PBO care about tend to go home just before ‘special occasions’. I am not going to cross fingers, however, as I feel Mr. M deserves to go home when he is ready.
“A part of me ‘fears’ Mr. Mandela will gracefully pass on before PBO arrives in Africa”
Hiya VC, I fear that too, would give anything for PBO to see him again before the inevitable. But by the sounds of NM’s health, even if he is still alive I’m not sure he would be in any condition to meet PBO. Whatever happens, may his passing be peaceful, what a glorious human being.
Thanks Chips, thanks Carol for sharing this image. PBO’s message of being inspired by Mr. Mandela (et al) reminded me immediately of him saying something similar in the ‘Senator Obama Goes to Africa’ video – part 3, starting at 3:27-3:58.
GM all! …discipline, focus, calm in… extraordinarily difficult times were unbelievably inspiring; humbled me -PBO http://t.co/SCGQqfgbXD
Yes, this is a President who can feel humility (but needn’t bother, from my perspective!). Of course, it’s because he’s humble that we see him rising up in our esteem, more each day.
Indeed, jacquelineoboomer. What a great spirit of this man that moves our hearts to move others to come together and share the wounds of all of humanity. A world leader that we will treasure for generations to come.
Hi jacquelineoboomer. Yes, I am having a ‘smooth jazz’ lite weekend. Enjoying reading all of the great information and wonderful sharing of thoughts.
I went out to run a few errands, and as I was standing waiting for the financial institution to open, a mother with two lovely young children got out of the care where my car was parked, and my attention was turned to them because the smallest of the two young cuties fell as he was trying to get his book from his mother. It is very hot out, so his little face hit the hot asphalt a little hard, and he was crying so hard, but showed such a brave little heart as mother was trying to console him. I smiled at the mother and made eye contact with the precious little boy, and he was still crying and trying to hold on to his book on cars.
I noticed the books(I love seeing little ones with good books) so I commented to his, after his mother sweetly asked if he wanted her to kiss his little head; he of course said, “Yes, please.” The water works almost began to flow, but I knew that I wanted his little gentle spirit in my space, so I withdrew the water works immediately. I made a comment about how nice and lovely to see him holding his wonderful book open to read it. He looked up, and acknowledge that someone other than his mother was in his space as well, and I said,” I love your book on cars. You want to be one of the next great engineers to design some great cars?” He stopped, looked over and said, “Yes, I do.” I smiled with as much of my being as possible and said,” Well, I know that you will do something great just like that and even more, so never stop thinking , reading, and dreaming big, big dreams, okay.”
He stopped crying completely and started to look in his book. His mother smiled and ask me what I did for a living: I said, ” I live so young beautiful sons like yours can become one of the great engineers of this world. I live to take his dreams and aspirations into my heart and space.” She smiled with a lovely spirit and thanked me.
I knew what she meant, but I did not feel in that setting, my professional (though retired now) career was what was needed to go into his little ears and heart. He had just fallen trying to get his book to read. That act of him getting up, crying a little but still managed to get up with his mother’s tender help and care gave me hope in my spirit. His fall was just a moment that our beautiful growing boys and girls will have during their growing up as precious children, but when his mother offered the book to him, he eagerly wanted it to surround him along with his loving mother’s touch on his little head. That scene with his book after his accident (thankfully, he was not hurt) touched me even more to have in my spirit-space than what I already knew about me professionally this morning.
As I exited the building, he and his brother were sitting in the chairs quietly and very nicely, and I leaned over and said,” You have a beautiful day, okay and keep reading.” He smiled and said looking straight into my eyes,” Yes, thank you.”
That little one reminded me, as I was driving home: I wonder how many times, the little Barack H. Obama fell trying to reach for his book when walking with his mother, and someone said to him something to encourage him in the moment of pain and hurt. Now he is President of the United States. And every time I see POB with children, I believe he is putting them into his ‘spirit space’ of wishing and praying for the best for them for generations to come. We are a blessed people. Be gentle with your space today. (((Love you all)))HZ
PBO reminds me of Pres. Mandela. He keeps his head high no matter what. Bless them both. I remember watching when then Mr. Mandela was released from prison. It was awesome, inspiring.
He and Winnie came to Atlanta in 1990 not long after I first moved here. The entire city was electrified with excitement. They lay a wreath at Dr. King’s tomb and he made an amazing & inspiring speech at the stadium at Georgia Tech, which I was fortunate enough to attend. We were transfixed and transformed. I’ll never forget it.
You are all welcome. I remember the day they let Mandela out. It seemed like it would be impossible for it to ever happen, just like the end of apartheid seemed impossible for me too.
VC,think of how fortunate we all are to have been around when Nelson Mandela was at his strongest. Our grand children will only know about him in history books, but we got see history. I will never forget seeing him walk down the middle of 15th street in DC in the early 90’s holding Winnie’s hand. He had such a lovely smile and waved at all of us.
Now that you mention it, JG, I actually saw him ‘up close’ in an appearance in town in1998 along with his wife Graca Machel. I had forgotten that. I got a t-shirt to mark the occasion too – I wonder where it is? I’ll have to look. It wasn’t too long ago that I saw it (hmmmm. must have been when I was rearranging the bedroom and of course the dresser drawers).
These two are so last week. I can’t even bother to think about the rotten weekend(s) they are having, even though they’re too self-possessed to know what’s really going on … they think they’ve “got” the President and his administration. Not.
GG and CH continue to operate under the delusion that they are smarter than everyone else. They can’t accept that President Obama and the people in his administration are sooooooo much smarter than they are.
They will learn the hard way that they are not as smart as they think they are.
They probably don’t have to rely on just notes. Snowden has given them a perfectly legitimate reason to wiretap him. Running off with secrets without leave gives them that automatically. And if they aren’t, the Chinese certainly are. He’s cooked legally and financially. He’ll be mopping floors when he gets out.
I think it speaks volumes to PBO’s clout that the Chinese seem to be giving us all the proof we need. They want him to talk and every time he does the DOJ’s job gets easier.
uh, no. I assure you. they are a very small subset of a tiny fraction of a percent of society, and most of that microscopic group of people are probably the paid trolls from the right wing propaganda machine funded by a few people such as the koch brothers, which we know as fact they do by their own admission. just trying to divide and conquer liberals, although i think most liberals caught onto to the huffington post trickery years ago, so not sure that’s even worth it for them anymore. they’re just talking to themselves.
We’ve seen this trickery before. There was a time when many of the online sites were dominated by “Ron Paul” supporters, yet in the GOP primary, Ron Paul could barely eke 15% of the vote at any given time. That was an indication that many of these online “posters” are not really people – but automated programs, sock puppets from a few individuals, and employees of said media outlets.
It’s interesting that this piece appeared today Bill. As LL suggested, are they finally beginning to wonder about the, eh, ‘accuracy’ of GG’s reporting, having hyped it to the heavens, and maybe his agenda too? So many respected voices, like Kurt Eichenwald, have been shredding his reporting, so maybe the Guardian is finally beginning to worry about its reputation?
But the GOP wants to reduce or eliminate the agencies that regulate this. Companies rationalize away the danger to consumers so that they can add to their bottom line.
/wailing/ But what am I left to eat, Dudette!! I read this thinking, okay, I’ll eliminate one of the foods mentioned (assuming that I still eat something on the list) but the bans seem to cover all areas. I already have enough difficulty trying to find what to eat, now I have to stop snacking (on salty stuff)? Aaagggh!
‘a warning to pay more attention and make the best food choices I can’
I guess. 😀 Or I might decide like my grandmother (who is no longer with us): “I’ll eat whatever I enjoy/want because it seems these days every thing gives you cancer.”
😆
For me it was the bread. I’ve been going the whole wheat route for years now, but one of the loaves in the pic looked like IT was w/w. So what do I do now? I tried the bread at the health food store for a while about a year or so ago, didn’t really enjoy it, found it too expensive and didn’t feel like heading to the HFS whenever bread was needed. Not to mention how much was wasted because I never finished a loaf before it hardened or spoilt. I don’t know, a4A, feeding yourself has become quite a chore to me.
In response to Chris Hayes’ question above (posted by HF2)
I know that Chris was prepping for his show when he sent this tweet, but doesn’t he have staffers who can monitor tweets? This from NYT national security reporter 8 minutes before Hayes’ idiotic tweet:
On top of theft of govt property & Espionage Act, Snowden charged under §798, unauthorized disclosure of US communications intel activities
What’s becoming clear is that both GG and Snowden knew he was no “whistleblower”. They both knew that what Snowden was doing was out and out illegal, the spilling of a perfectly legal intelligence program for no other reason than animus towards Obama/Big Government/what have you. Hence why Snowden fled.
Agreed. I have not believed for a second that this was done for any other reason than animus toward PBO/etc. Even Snowden’s explanation falls on its face. He mentioned PBO not fulfilling his promise. This guy did not even vote for PBO. And beyond that, Bush blatantly abused this program. PBO came and reigned it in. This was confirmed by Bush’s own former NSA director, that PBO’s NSA is much more transparent.
That so-called liberals would take off with this has exposed them for what I have believed of many of them ever since PBO was elected in his first term.
You know Africa, I almost have pity for Snowden in this, even though he’s a piece of crap – I suspect he has been used and abused by Greenwald, who he probably idolized as a Paulite, all so Greenwald could further his agenda. Snowden’s life is effectively done, Greenwald has got the level of fame (and probably money) he always craved. I’d imagine his greatest dream now is that he too be charged, just to heighten his heroism/martyrdom among his screwed up supporters. It’s the sickest of stories.
My sentiments, exactly. I told my hubby, I believe that GG wants so badly to be charged so that he can garner more attention. Only thing I say, is be careful what you ask for. Because I am inclined to believe that if and when the stakes get higher, with advice from his own family and inner circles, Snowden may very well rat out Greenwald. I believe this in my gut. It will be every man for self.
Mark my word Chips, Greenwald’s fame & fortune on this issue will be short-lived. Ms. Karma is saving up to pay Glennie a nice visit some day. Just as Paula Deen had an unexpected visit this week from Ms. Karma, so Glennie will have his turn.
I believe so too Hopefruit, but I’m wary because he has powerful allies, I don’t for a minute think he acted alone in all of this, he’s one sinister ****er and will work with literally anyone to damage this adminstration. But I cling to the hope he’ll be well and truly exposed by the time this is done.
I agree he has allies. But their alliance with him is only about PBO and nothing else. Thus you will begin to see them turn on each other once their ultimate goal (which was to damage PBO) fails to materialize.
I’ve seen this movie before. I know how it ends. 🙂
Those type allies tend to be “allies” as long as you are useful. But they are also believers that collateral damage is part of the package. Some people are considered expendable and I’m sure Snowden and GG are in that classification. If something goes wrong, those powerful allies might leave them hanging.
I think he will have to, Africa. The Justice Department isn’t fooling around. They don’t think his actions are romantic, idealistic, noble, or naive. They think he is a criminal and they will behave as such. This little boy will have to grow up and face the real consequences of his behavior and it won’t be pretty.
All the “chips” but one will be taken out of Snowden’s hands when he’s returned to US soil. He faces a very lengthy prison sentence if he doesn’t start coughing up names and income sources. If he spills, he may get off with less severe charges. If he chooses to surrender the rest of his life for the sake of his “benefactor/instigators” he’s a bigger fool than he already looks. No jury or trail judge is going to look sympathetically on him. All the supporters that he imagines will scream for his “rescue,” won’t count for anything when wheels of justice roll.
I don’t know Chips. Snowden went looking for people like Greenwald but it could have easily been the Washington Post. That exploitation works both ways. Look at him now acting like he’s on a book tour. This guy had a plan from jump.
I know what you’re saying Derbingle, didn’t mean to suggest Snowden is an innocent in all this, he certainly isn’t. But I just suspect he’s being used by bigger forces, with Greenwald acting as their mouthpiece. Even Naomi Wolf, of all people, is suspicious about it all. We’ll see what we learn, as Africa said it’ll be interesting to see what Snowden reveals in his defense if/when he gets to court.
I doubt if Greenwald could care less about Snowden. GG is looking for fame and an audience. He is on every cable show hosted by a 30 something self-righteous twit.
Did you know the indictment was issued about a week ago per Pete Williams of NBC last night? I’m not able to keep up with each comment, so I didn’t know if it was discussed. I forget where I saw the cover letter. The Indictment is sealed. Also, he’s not charged with espionage YET. He is charged under three statutes of the Espionage Act. Just because this Act was past in 1917, does that make it bad law? Using that’s stupid reasoning of Chris Hayes, let’s do away with Second Amendment. (Snark)
That is stupid reasoning. Laws are meant to last until another one supersedes it or abolishes it. But what gets me about the /Julian Assange/Glen Greenwald types is their shock at the fact that laws actually do apply to them and that they will actually have to go to jail. It’s a sense of entitlement here that no one else really has. They are like boys who have spraypainted a wall and are shocked that the police will actually take steps regarding this.
In a way, this shows how childish the whole thing seems to be. On one hand, they talk as if this nation is tyrannical and evil, and at the same time live in a lavish hotel room actively tweeting as if the Evil Empire will not find you and take steps
The source of the money is probably the key question Snowden will be asked, although I’m certain the DOJ already has a very clear idea of the answer. There would have to have been significant money transfers to Snowden to enable his lifestyle in Hong Kong and to provide him with income in whatever country he tried to escape to. There must also have been money to change hands to get him hired by Booz Allen. The money will tell a lot of the story.
I’m not certain of the year (1978 ?), Congress added The Signals Intelligence Statute (SIGINT) to The Espionage Act. The statute says:
… whoever knowingly and willfully communicates, furnishes, transmits, or otherwise makes available to an unauthorized person, [including by publication,] classified information [relating to] the communication intelligence activities of the United States or any foreign government, [shall be fined or imprisoned for up to ten years.]
Oh, and in keeping with the theme of this thread: Mr. Mandela makes a cameo appearance in “World War Z”—the book, not the movie. He’s the only one in South Africa with enough authority to push the government to make the heartbreaking decisions it has to make to start combatting the zombie plague. It is one of the most affecting sections of the book. Soon all the other world governments follow South Africa’s lead.
Well, the only thing that the movie and book share is the title and that they feature zombies. The book uses the zombie narrative to examine politics, society, the media, economics, and so on. The movie is just a really awesome zombie movie. Appreciate it for what it is, but if you want meat, read the book.
WOW, what a magnificent photo – our graceful PBO in silhouette and the great Nelson Mandela embracing his hand. Just stunning. Thank you for posting this, an absolute inspiration.
meta, I also was so touched by the same thoughts as I looked at the elegant and historic photo. I came away beholding: a tremendously powerful and graceful figure in the man of the Great President Nelson Mandela reclining in his chair(with his cane beside him on the chair). That picture, in my mind alone brought tears filled with much sweetness and bitter memories of the two men in our lives now.
Only the” great Nelson Mandela” can fill that chair. And our brilliant, young, and graceful President, Barack Obama in a silhouette left me thinking how powerful to see both men reaching and touching history within their hands. Powerful Inspiration, indeed.
It is like seeing the time race with both of them during this journey and both are still in the race; but one is handing off the baton to the other to finish the race. Thereby to join nations, forever with the balm of salve of healings for a people of both continents. Powerful. Handing Off Longsuffering, Humility, Great Character, Powerful Orators, and Graceful Men of and for the people.
An Inspiration of Two, and we all get to witness it all. HZ
Awww so sweet. I lost it half-way through, could barely see the rest through my tears. 🙂
He got his own “Mr. Holland’s Opus” moment. Way to go Mr. Boddie. Good on the kids and staff for doing that to let him know how much he is loved and appreciated. Well done!
I hope POTUS will meet Madiba Nelson Mandela during his trip. They met as a Senator and I still wonder why POTUS didn’t go with FLOTUS back then. To those afraid that Mandela may ….. before POTUS arrived, No Worries, he won’t pass away. Mark my words 🙂 I am from the continent, I get the feeling. It’s another he has to take, it’s a long one.
Thanks again to those who spend their time to bring this page alive. I am blessed to get all my infos about POTUS AND FLOTUS here.
HI
Hello and congrats on #1! 🙂
Gold, Layla 😉
I know..what’s up with me!!!!
Nothing, but the Good Bling…… Shine on Lady, shine one 😉
Congrats, Layla!
Yes!!
Really? I doubt it!
Nah, I knew it was too good to be true! Great photo though.
Talking about a fighting spirit. Inspirational.
Oh my Chips!!!! This photo brings tears to my eyes, Thank you so much!
..a long road traveled
So prescient Chips, thank you…..Congrats on first Layla!
Poor Knoller – always has to attribute news to others at CBS. He’s too busy bean countin’.
The story posted yesterday about the Ambulance breaking down on the way to the hospital in South Africa, happened 2 weeks ago, right?
I want Madiba to get better. But like his former bodyguard, I want him to be allowed to say his graceful goodbye, his own way.
And the breakdown is appalling. If Madiba gets this treatment, God only knows what more ordinary people go through.
Chips – Another image that perfectly captures what “hope and change” means in our current lives. Never saw that heartwarming photo before. Thanks so much.
Enjoy your weekend, everybody!
Helloooooooo Jacqueline, it really is a stunning image, thanks again to Carol for emailing it me. I had seen it a long time ago, but had forgotten about it.
Have a blissful weekend yourself, J!
Thanks, honey bunch – and thanks to Carol!

Carol, endless thanks for sending me that photo, it’s absolutely beautiful. Really appreciate it.

It’s a gem, Carol, thanks again.
That would be so meaningful, if President Obama can arrange for it. I’m sure he’d like to, if the family concurred.
Nelson Mandela is the greatest living human — one of the greatest who ever lived. It’s inevitable that he will be gone soon but I am very sad about it.
That Picture is Just Perfect in every way.

Obrigada, Lady.
Hello everyone. First the good news. . .
Thank you for giving us the good news first, always softens the blow!
🙂
Now the irritating news. . .
😳
How much $ will it cost for security of the Bush family?
Oh no!!!! He’s not going to be doing PAP smears, is he!!!!
My thoughts exactly. Did you read article? They will cross paths. No way W didn’t “plan” this.
So did I.
Mr. Mandela’s condition may be worse than what is being reported publicly…. liver and kidneys are functioning at 50%
A part of me ‘fears’ Mr. Mandela will gracefully pass on before PBO arrives in Africa, and another part hopes I’m way off. I would like the two to meet again one more time, but I keep remembering that people PBO care about tend to go home just before ‘special occasions’. So sad, but know if Madiba is ready to go, he should be allowed a peaceful transition. No matter what. Prayers for his family and all of South Africa.
I’m with ya Dudette, we know it’s coming, but it won’t make the time any less painful, not least for the people of South Africa.
Invictus
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
William Ernest Henley
Beautiful. 😥
While incarcerated on Robben Island prison, Nelson Mandela recited the poem to other prisoners and was empowered by its message of self-mastery
I am with you, Dudette!

I know Carol. As I typed the year, I thought “wooo, goodness gracious that was long time ago.” 🙂

Oh Dudette, I’d completely forgotten that, here’s a photo of the Mandelas with the King family:

Hayes and his BFF Greenwald…last night. I can’t wait to see the two of them just implode.
These two are so last week. I can’t even bother to think about the rotten weekend(s) they are having, even though they’re too self-possessed to know what’s really going on … they think they’ve “got” the President and his administration. Not.
Go back to your time-out chairs, fools.
GG and CH continue to operate under the delusion that they are smarter than everyone else. They can’t accept that President Obama and the people in his administration are sooooooo much smarter than they are.
They will learn the hard way that they are not as smart as they think they are.
I don’t like to wish anything really negative on anybody (other than those time-out chairs), but … you know … karma.
He’s in the “spy death throes,” apparently. Not real death, but STFU death!
The more he talks the more ammunition for the DOJ.
Yes, the DOJ has been taking copious notes, pre-trial, I’m sure!
Yes. This and all this.
🙂
The Snowden supporters have taken over the comments on HP. I hope this is not a national trend.
Half of the comments are probably from Greenwald, Bill – his sock puppets are the stuff of legend!
Paid trolls Bill, paid trolls compliments of the Koch brothers!
He’s trying desperately to get Hong Kong to resist the US extradition order. Spilling his guts to save his skin.
Perfect image and words. Says it all.
Absolutely. Waterworks all over the place.
Have saner heads at The Guardian finally realized that Snowdenwald have sold them a bill of goods?
Ha, it’s beginning to look that way, LL – and Cohen is hardly an Obot!
Good to see this important piece coming from The Guardian. I have been losing faith in them since they hired GG.
Aaagggh!
That was my thought as I read that article. Just decided to take it as a warning to pay more attention and make the best food choices I can.
‘a warning to pay more attention and make the best food choices I can’
I guess. 😀 Or I might decide like my grandmother (who is no longer with us): “I’ll eat whatever I enjoy/want because it seems these days every thing gives you cancer.”
damn. not my chex mix……
Hayes thinks he’s so damn smart because he can talk fast and can talk louder than his poor guests (I don’t watch his show, too stupid for me).
And this:
And better yet, as a lawyer, how come Greenwald did not advice Snowden about this offense or did he not know, either?
Oooh, wouldn’t that be sweet, Snowden turning on Greenwald to help his defense?
Mark my word Chips, Greenwald’s fame & fortune on this issue will be short-lived. Ms. Karma is saving up to pay Glennie a nice visit some day. Just as Paula Deen had an unexpected visit this week from Ms. Karma, so Glennie will have his turn.
THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
“I’m wary because he has powerful allies…”
And if you noticed, arapho415, people responded with the facts about the law to Hayes idiotic tweet.
So many things to consider. What did GG know?
Exactly, africa …

Moreover …
… and Senator McCaskill is definitely on the case …

Well said. I’m wondering where the money is coming for Snowden? Much better causes to give to than them.
Koch $ , it can buy anything!
True. . .
So agree. And who will pay his lawyers?
Great points Jackie B., and CarolMaeWY. This is going to be very, very interesting, indeed.HZ
Thanks for info.
Is it a good book for a movie? I’m still laughing over the yodeling of Jimmy Fallen and Brad Pitt.
Well, the only thing that the movie and book share is the title and that they feature zombies. The book uses the zombie narrative to examine politics, society, the media, economics, and so on. The movie is just a really awesome zombie movie. Appreciate it for what it is, but if you want meat, read the book.
Thanks LL. Is the movie already out? I’m so out of the know.
Came out yesterday.
😉 Thanks.
Oh thank goodness! I was starting to think I was the only one who thought that was funny! 😀
I mean the yodeling. I’m not much to the zombie thing. That’s one movie I’ll pass. Love Brad though.
😀
Chips, will you be able to photograph? It’s Sun. night. 😉
I hope the prediction of cloudy skies over Atlanta is a little off, so we can see it!
Yes, here too.
HZ
Oh my gosh, what a beautiful and insightful way to view this image. Absolutely true and powerful, for all to see. xoxo.
Get ready to cry
………………………….
Hingham Middle School pays tribute to retiring principal Roger Boddie.
Thank you ri!!! SOOO many tears today!
Awww so sweet. I lost it half-way through, could barely see the rest through my tears. 🙂
He got his own “Mr. Holland’s Opus” moment. Way to go Mr. Boddie. Good on the kids and staff for doing that to let him know how much he is loved and appreciated. Well done!
Thanks for sharing!
That is wonderful! Thanks for sharing.
Terrific!!!! Beautiful tribute to their principal. Great kids and staff. HZ

Great to see you Tresor, and thank you for your lovely words about the very great Nelson Mandela.
