You can never hear these speeches enough…

Tuesday:

President Obama attends more G-8 meetings at Lough Erne

The First Lady, Malia and Sasha go walking in the Wicklow Hills on the morning and visit the local lakes and Glendalough (see here).

They will then rejoin President Obama for their visit to Germany

Cracked. Me. Up:

BBC: A young boy was rendered speechless when he met First Lady Michelle Obama in Dublin on Monday.

The boy, named only as Billy, was dumbstruck with shyness when he met her backstage at the Gaiety Theatre.

…. Rebecca Morgan, aged 11 and a pupil in Moneygall National School in County Offaly – US President Barack Obama’s ancestral homeland – revealed her classmate’s embarrassment.

“She is so beautiful and very tall,” the 11-year-old said. “She looks even prettier in real life than on TV.

“A boy in my class was really embarrassed when she touched Billy’s hand because he thinks she is so beautiful. He was so shy.”

Anyone else watching PBO on Charlie Rose? It is supposed to be on in my market, but it is not. Chips, I know you and UT have killed it here today, but any chance when Charlie Rose becomes available you can put it up please? Zizi is watching it in her market, and tweeting some of the good stuff.

    Ms. Chips, finally catching up…..
What a wonderful day for Our First Family and us here! Thank you and everyone here for making this trip another memorable event. I never even bother to watch MSM whenever POB travels abroad because it is simply a waste of time. The warm reception and genuine love and respect is just what POTUS and FLOTUS needs and deserves after dealing with these ungrateful, spineless, racist right, left and in between fools who seems to take pleasure in disrespecting this President every chance they get. I enjoy and look forward to these trips abroad. It seems to rejuvenate Our President and First Lady. It certainly makes me smile and joy in my heart knowing there are others all around the world who appreciates them as we do here.
Thank you, Ms. Chips, UT, Zizi, LL, etc., for all you do.
    Sweet sleep, EVERYONE!

Yes, I saw that earlier in the day. Pretty sure the “little men in white coats” have come to collect him by now, with or without his tin foil hat.

I’m fully expecting somebody tomorrow to say that the gray shirt the President was wearing recently is giving a secret signal to the “Commies” or something, and is bad for the children.

That little ******* Snowden is really full of his own importance eh?

I just watched Charlie Rose’s interview with PBO. If you can get it, do watch it. It is superb. Charlie asks good probing questions, and the president gives solid, complete, thoughtful answers, and Charlie lets him talk. The President got a LOT of information across to the person willing to listen. The first subject was Syria, and he is very well aware of the extremes on both sides, and will take his deliberate way to work through this problem. No one is going to push and pull him. He told Charlie that unless you have been in the situation room and listened to all the military and other people explain ALL the ramifications of every conceivable option, and what could and should happen and what should not happen…..you have no business giving advice. This is complex.
As I watched I just said a prayer of thankfulness that this man is president of the U.S. right now, and let’s face it, he is president of the world too.

Loved President Obama’s responses to Charlie Rose questions. PBO would not allow Charlie to force him to committing to providing heavy arms or no-fly zones in Syria. Of course he ripped Snowden and Greenwald new “ones” without ever mentioning their names.
