For some time many of us have wondered, just who is Jack Schitt? We find ourselves at a loss when someone says, ‘You don’t know Jack Schitt!’ Well, thanks to my geneaology efforts, you can now respond in an intellectual way.

Jack Schitt is the only son of Awe Schitt. Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married O. Schitt, the owner of Needeep N. Schitt, Inc. They had one son, Jack. In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schitt, Give Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt. Against her parents’ objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school dropout. After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced. Noe Schitt later married Ted Sherlock, and because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schitt Sherlock. Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Mode Schitt, and they produced a son with a rather nervous disposition named Chicken Schitt. Two of the other six children, Fulla Schitt and Give Schitt, were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a due ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens nuptials. The Schitt-Happens children were Fast, Byrd, and Horse. Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned from Italy with his new Italian bride, Pisa Schitt.

Now when someone says, ‘You don’t know Jack Schitt,’ you can correct them.

    Crock O. Schitt.

In December of 2012 FISA was extended until 2017. 73 senators voted in favor of extension of it. If it was so bad, why didn’t chris hayes or rachel or anyone else say something then? Why the delayed outrage?

Where is Maryl? Wonder if she has gotten over looking/feeling like picture #2 yet? Happy Holidays, Maryl!

      • June 8, 2013 at 12:20 am

I am right here, and at the end of the final frazzled half-day, I think that picture 2 was actually drawn from life – my life. HOWEVER. At the end of every school year my principal drives himself insane by creating a one-of-a-kind DVD of pictures taken throughout the year, arranged in a theme, with rocking’ music and pictures of everyone in the school doing all sorts of things throughout the year. It is impossible to describe. Then everybody comes to the gym with their things all packed up and lots of parents in attendance and we sit and cheer and yell every time a familiar face comes on they screen (that’s yelling and cheering for 40 straight minutes, folks, to some pounding base lines). We laugh, we cry and at the end we are all reminded that all the great activities, and annoying activities, and the weird stuff the PTO dreams up and the fund-raisers that drive us up the wall, and the energy and time and hair-pulling and kid-wrangling that went into our year binds us together as one big Deerfield family and it was all worth it. I’ve already had one email from a parent sending sweet pictures she took on the last day labeled ‘Farewell”, and an email from one of my great 2nd grade girls, Emily, assuring me she will do lots of “SCINCE!” (science) this summer and that she is missing me already. Well, I am missing them too, even Connor, and would gladly have them all back next year (even Connor), but I know that great adventures await them in third grade and I’ve had a peek at my class list for next year and am starting to get excited about possibilities. And I have TWO AND A HALF MONTHS before I have to do anything else! Thank you, dear vc, for getting me through those last exhausting days πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

      • June 8, 2013 at 12:21 am

And I have to say that it took me until midnight until I had the energy to even look at TOD and also I have the best principal in the history of ever.

          June 8, 2013 at 12:38 am

He does sound like a wonderful principal. I remember you saying a good word about him previously in a different context. You and your school got lucky. I could very, very easily picture that final scene in the gym, just as I actually understand the can’t-wait-for-holidays-to-start feelings coupled (almost) with the I-miss-them-all-already-even-the-challenging-ones feelings! Rest! Relax! Do lots for YOU, because it only takes a couple of sleeps – or so it will seem – before you’ll have to start planning for next year and the cycle will begin again.

          • June 8, 2013 at 11:07 am

” it only takes a couple of sleeps – or so it will seem – before you’ll have to start planning for next year and the cycle will begin again.” – TRUTH!! However I did sleep in this morning πŸ™‚ and I’m planning a very lazy day! I will be in school next week to clean up and close up, but that’s fine and I’ll be hanging out with my friends and co-workers. Summer really has begun!! Let the mental health begin πŸ™‚

I watched her Anniebella. She pulled out some archived tape from Frontline about a whistleblower who worked for AT&T when he got the keys to some secret room and discovered that data was being directed to the government. Merekley made yet another appearance on her show to

Question about the April 2013 date that jumped out to you in the “NSA PowerPoint.”

Were your thinking “April 1,” or something else?

    • June 7, 2013 at 10:15 pm

I should have said I understand the “missing number” in US-984XN, but wasn’t sure about “April 2013.”

And the PowerPoint decks differs slightly between WaPo and the Guardian?

I’ll read the Business Insider articles now, so if they answer this question, no need to respond.

      • June 7, 2013 at 10:23 pm

Yes, the missing # in US-984XN would be ‘1’ and couple that with the date ‘April 2013’ – cruel, cruel hoax-ishness πŸ™‚ perhaps … πŸ˜‰

Yes, the imagery on the ‘time line’ slides is not even subtly different – but if you anticipated at least 2 traitors, you’d supply each with a slightly different version, and then wait. When WaPo & The Guardian publish different versions you’d know the sources. See my comment to LL in the previous thread (link, above, in a comment to him).

          • June 8, 2013 at 2:23 am

VC, as you know, I’m not a novelist, or a conspiracy theorist πŸ™‚

It’s been obvious since the solicitation by Rosen in 2009 of information intended to damage our President, irrespective of the damage it would cause our National Security, CIA assets in North Korea and more, that some very dangerous, completely traitorous folk were operational.

The leak to the AP in 2012 about the Yemeni based AQ bomb maker, undoubtedly sealed the deal regarding the need to ferret out these traitors.

It would have been political suicide to do so before the Nov, 2012, elections.

However, given the deep ethics and love of America our President Obama demonstrates by his actions, every day, I have no doubt he and key folk within the Intelligence and Dept of Justice were working diligently to establish a mechanism to unambiguously detect and halt what are obviously traitorous, but ultimately self-serving to the #MIC, #KOCHSTER plutocrats, actions.

A day of reckoning is approaching.

Been reading at several sources about Mitt’s reason-for-losing tour. The reason is different every time…..from Hurricane Sandy should have happened two weeks later to his campaign was “cash strapped.” He will never deal with reality. My husband says he has what is called a “narcissistic wound.” A narcissist will NEVER accept any responsibility, but his pride has been wounded, so he lashes out at everyone and everything he can possibly blame. Boy, did we dodge a bullet with that one!!!
We just wish he’d shut up and stay away, but a narcissist can’t do that. He always has to get the spotlight back on him. Who knows, he may even try to run again!!!

and i love that he is holding a retreat for 2016 hopefuls, may his stink rub off on all who attend!

    • June 7, 2013 at 10:21 pm

Romney is encouraged by our lazy media. They think we care about this person that most of the country was running away from at breakneck speed.

I don’t think he’s a bad man, but I shudder to think of him as President. Aside from embarrassing us on the world stage, he freely admitted he would be Adelson and Koch’s puppet-in-chief.

        June 7, 2013 at 10:33 pm

actually, i think he is bad man. a very bad man. all the way back to the high school stories and weird bullying with the hair cutting episode, to his career of buying and selling jobs and the families associated with those jobs with his little snickering jokes about that, to his and his 5 sons avoiding any military service, especially during vietnam, and promoting poor people’s kids to put thie lives on the line while the rmoneys avoid as much tax obligation as possible in offshore accounts, to his lies upon lies about president obama and his family, yes, he’s a nasty ugly person. and i won’t even get started about his wife. this “nice guy” thing around mittbot is a media creation in my opinion.

    • June 7, 2013 at 10:36 pm

The way I look at it, it’s President Obama’s job to keep this country safe from terrorists attacks, it’s Rachel and the stupid media’s job to get ratings for there shows. As the President said he doesn’t mind the honest debate, but I’m sure he does mind the leaks. And if he got Osama bin Laden, he will get who’s behind these leaks. Dealing with folks like Rachel, Hayes, Todd, CNN, Jonathan Karl, the MSM, I don’t know how honest it is.

To me this would be a big dam deal if no one knew what was going on but the administration, if they were really listening to Americans phone calls, if they did not go through the FISA court. It would have been nice if Rachel , Hayes and the others got just as mad about the Republicans trying to take our right to vote away.

Oh, [ AMERICA, AMERICA ]!m ” you who kill, the prophets and stone those I have sent to you…” ( Paraphrased from the Gospel of Luke.

I am just about done with MSNBC. I hate that because I felt I could trust some of the hosts to be fair. It all started for me when Keith Olbermann turned against PBO. Next I began to suspect that Rachel was enjoying any angle hat would give her s “legitimate” reason to slam the President. Ed waxed hot and cold. Matthews acts like he’s bi-polar or something. CHRIS Hayes is impressed with his own intellect.. Andrea Mitchell is so obviously anti-Obama that I can’t stand to watch her. She might be a good journalist, but I am not impressed., Alex Wagner seems to be getting a little cocky. I don’t know;’it just seems like her take on things is so predictable, never courageous.

Joy Reid is excellent, so far, Martin is pretty good. Lawrence is entertaining and will at least try to tell it like it is, Rev. Al is okay, but I wish they would let him be his natural self. He stumbles over the script, and mispronounces too many names and words. He is much better just being himself, like when he s co-anchoring election night, etc.

I am an Obama loyalist. I’m loyal to him, because he is decent, honest, wise, prone to error like any man or woman, but he is willing to face his errors. When people mock him, he doesn’t mock back. When they slander him, he ignores it ( That has got to be hard!)
He loves this country and its people; you can feel it when he speaks, when he writes, and when he interacts.

He is a very smart man, but he is willing to listen and learn. I have never felt safer and more confident in a leader than I have with him, I know he will consider all things thoroughly, that he will not make rash decisions because of outside pressure. He is competent, caring, judicious, effective, and just generally awesome. He walks a tight-rope every day in office, balancing the enormous demands of his job while dodging and ducking bullets and arrows being aimed at him from all over the place. And yet he smiles when we see him. He flashes that mega-watt smile, and I am amazed that he can do that. I feel better when I see that smile.

I am an Obama loyalist because the man moves somethng in me. He strikes the right chords; his essential goodness is apparent. How people could hate him, I will never understand
OH, AMERICA, AMERICA, WHY DO YOU TREAT GOOD MEN like devils, and bad men like angels?

We have been given a gift in this man Barack Obama. We who love him,, must Pray constantly for him, support him, stand up for him, correct him respectfully, and be eternally grateful for the PRIVILEDGE of sharing this portion of our lves with him.

This was a wonderful post. It expresses just how I feel. It makes me both sad and angry that those on the left and right assume President Obama is a liar, and proceed, based on that assumption.

Rachel Maddow really disappointed me this evening. She pulled out a frontline video from 2002. She did not update the information. Did not interview the guy from the video. Instead, she interviewed another ‘Obama is a liar’ asshole.

Chris Hayes is such as twinkie. He never bothered to correct his misinformation of the previous evening. he just doubled-down on his bullshit. I”m actually starting to despise him like I despise Jeremy Scahill and Glen Greenwald.

x 100%, Eve! Though PBO’s detractors anger me deep down, there are times I can genuinely feel sorry for them. They are throwing away an excellent chance to participate WITH an inspired leader in what may be a once-in-a-lifetime historical opportunity, plus they have got to be empty and unhappy inside to nurture such hatred. *I*, like you, am extremely grateful for the privilege to experience the Obama view of politics.

President Barack Obama’s administration is likely to open a criminal investigation into the leaking of highly classified documents that revealed the secret surveillance of Americans’ telephone and email traffic, U.S. officials said on Friday.

The law enforcement and security officials, who were not authorized to speak publicly, said the agencies that normally conduct such investigations, including the FBI and Justice Department, were expecting a probe into the leaks to a British and an American newspaper.

Such investigations typically begin after an agency that believes its secrets have been leaked without authorization files a complaint with the Justice Department.

It was unclear on Friday whether a complaint had been submitted by the publicity-shy National Security Agency, which was most directly involved in the collection of trillions of telephone and email communications.

However, one U.S. official with knowledge of the situation said that given the extent and sensitivity of the recent leaks, federal law may compel officials to open an investigation.

Let me just say, that this Friday night is a much better night than a week ago. A week ago I was huddled in our small bathroom…..the one room with no windows and no outside walls….holding my two dogs, while my husband sat in the sun room…..windows all around! But he said…..the shutters will protect me! We were fortunate, the tornado turned south a couple of miles west of us. Other people were not so fortunate. Tonight is calm. So wonderful! Next week we’ll have temps in the 90s.
Thanks to Bob, Jovie and Arapaho and others who have carefully analyzed the info we’ve received today. I haven’t yet watched the president’s remarks about this, so am relying on what others have said. Something inside me says this isn’t over, and when it is, we will have found the mole, or spy that has been trying to sabotage our security and this administration. Your analyses strengthened that in me.
I so well remember, as others do, that Bush burrowed people in civil service appointments who were immune to firing. I firmly believe that it is one of those who is attempting this damage. I don’t know how GG fits in, but he does.
There are more brains on this blog than in all the MSM, I’m convinced. And, we’re not bamboozled by charlatans.

He did great on Taking down Reagan. Maher got the part about pres Obama’s comment on Reagan half wrong. He thought that pres Obama was praising Reagan when in 2008, then sen Obama said that Reagan changed the trajectory of the USA. Yes, Reagan did. But then sen Obama was admiring to duplicate and redirect the trajectory of USA in his own Obama Era to make USA better, and redirect it away from what Reagan did…..for Bill Clinton was Not able to that…….Maher mistook that as a worship for Reagan. Bill Clinton mistook that as a slight to him in 2008. It was a factual observation by then sen Obama.
