    Yes thank you, UT….

I really want to know the answer to this question. Anyone?

My question is..now that these companies are all coming out and emphatically denying that they were part of PRISM, etc…..doesn’t this raise the question of credibility on GG and the Guardian? Would for me! What could the repercussions be for lyingGG and the paper that now has no street./ professional cred?? Was this a “twofer”???

I remember when Bush’s Patriot Act came to be….I would talk on the phone and at some point in the conversation with a friend, just randomly say, ” George W….can you hear me now??” I don’t feel the need to do those things anymore….haven’t since Jan. 2009

  6. June 7, 2013 at 8:00 pm

Should I have my tin foil hat on? Is this the ultimate mindfuck by the admin? Again, as I said yesterday, when Bush’s program came out in 2006, the telcos didn’t deny it. Now everyone mentioned in PRISM is flat out saying it isn’t happening.

    • June 7, 2013 at 8:04 pm

Keep the tin foil in the cupboard, my friend. We may be looking at an amazing sting, but, in any event, we are definitely looking at a bunch of print media & NEWSTAINERS literally plastered with eggs …

Yes, very bizarre. Are the telcos lying ? Or has the NSA gone rogue , behind the back of the President and even behind the back of his DNI ?

I trust Barack Obama. I’ve watched him DAILY for five years. This is the most honest president America has seen in a long, long, long time. Problem is, with an honest and brilliant president, if in some dark corners of the permanent government there is a temptation to do something illegal, they surely won’t tell him.

Mass shooting comes to L.A. Fuck me.

    • June 7, 2013 at 8:14 pm

SoCal is no stranger to mass shootings.

Remember the Christmas party massacre a few years ago? And the Seal Beach beauty salon carnage? And Santee school shooting?

Those are off the top of my head with no Google.

You’re feeling this intensely because it’s in the your neighborhood.

I’m shocked and saddened as well. Condolences to all affected.

      Hate guns.

      • June 7, 2013 at 8:17 pm

This is true. And I know the area well. Finished taking my pre-reqs there to graduate from UCLA. And missus was going to go there Monday to learn more about the RN program.

Just so everyone knows: Santa Monica College is the premier community college in Southern California. It’s a microcosm of the region. All races, confessions, orientations, and ages go there. It has a large foreign student population. This is a major occurrence.

First time I’ve been on Twitter all day. Most of my TL is mocking GG. The ones still incensed have somehow found their way off my follow list. Weird how that happens.

More paranoia-mongering by that snotty-nosed punk. It’s all a damn game to him.

    From the last thread.
After careful consideration of all the factors(and 10 minutes of his show), I’ve come to a conclusion. Chris Hayes and GG are unmitigated anal orifices…………..”the result of defective sperm and a putrid egg.” 😦

You are a right Mr. Yardarm, and based on what I’m seeing on Twitter right now, quite a few would agree with you.

The President inherited an office that still has stains, left by an elephant, embedded in the carpet.

  15. June 7, 2013 at 8:25 pm

Ok, some important news: tonight’s menu

Baked cod marinated in soy sauce, ground mustard, and olive oil
Roasted asparagus with LL’s secret spices

So did I. And where I think MSNBC miscalculated was that they assumed that because of his age, he would influence many young impressionable viewers (who admire and like PBO) to turn against the President based on these silly ideological “issues” that he presents daily on his show. Instead of gaining young viewers, they LOST the older mature audience who, while they may have had certain issues with Ed Schultz, were willing to watch his show at least when when he wasn’t yelling and screaming at PBO, because at least Ed came down much harder on the GOP than Hayes ever would.

@TheScottFinley @allanbrauer POTUS said “executive, legislative, federal judges all signed off on this”, Chris Hayes goes “BUT NOT

Wow. My opinion of Chris Hayes has crashed and burned after that diatribe. All laws must be “rendered Constitutional” by SCOTUS?

The Media That Bashes Obama Today Ignores Their Own Complicity In Bush’s Crimes

    By: Rmuse

The list of media cover-ups of Republicans’ applying a different standard to President Obama, an African American man, than a white George Bush is endless, and they are both responsible for the populations’ ignorance of Republican attempts to keep this nation from progressing much beyond the devastation of the last Republican administration. For the New York Times to claim President Obama has lost credibility for a seven year practice their favorite son George W. Bush began informs that the only credibility gap in this country exists in main stream media and not the Obama Administration. It is important to remember that this is the same New York Times that promoted the rush to war with Iraq when they knew Bush was lying and didn’t call for impeachment when Bush outed an active CIA operative to silence a man who reported Iraq was not developing a nuclear weapon. As guilty as Republicans are for applying a different standard to President Obama than they did Bush, the main stream media is worse because their job is supposed to be reporting truth, but truth requires applying the same standard for all; something media and Republicans are incapable of.

    You don’t say.

A recent study not only confirms the claim that many of the guns used in the ongoing violence in Mexico are from the United States, but finds that some U.S. gun dealers depend on this illegal gun running to stay afloat.

Their is a Mole either in WH, State, DOD, or Congress with access to Top Secret security information.
Special clearances have levels, and that is how they track them, pin down whoever is doing this.
But, should make a arrest, change dynamic of whole storyline.

Leaks: AP-Yemen; Fox-N. Korea; Guardian-NSA/PRISM; Guardian-cyber list. Plus IRS, and who in GOP faked and leaked Benghazi email.

I’m with you. I said that very thing yesterday…

    • June 7, 2013 at 9:10 pm

Oh, it’s definitely a bitter RWNJ.

    • June 7, 2013 at 9:14 pm

      One scenario, LL:

Since they already knew who leaked the NK info to Rosen, take that one off the list.

They know someone leaked the phony Benghazi emails to Jonathan Karl.

They know someone leaked to the AP about the Yemen bomb maker.

Whether the IRS leaks are from the same person, may or may not figure into the sting.

So, you create a PRISM ppt and you make it available to the person or persons -that may be the reason the version leaked to the WaPo is slightly different from the one leaked to the Guardian – you think are the likely traitors.

      And, you wait.

When the leaks happen you know exactly who was provided access to the phony, but apparently legit, ppt.

The vehement denials from every Internet company make it highly unlikely that PRISM is an NSA operation. It makes it much more likely that a trap was set and some folk are now caught in it.

That leak to the AP must have really pissed off a bunch of folk, not least of whom is President Obama. It would take time to construct an effective trap. We know how patient, disciplined PBO is. Folk should have caught a clue by the time he announced OBL was a midnight snack for the fishes.

Thanks Bob for sharing the President’s remarks. After listening to the President, I now know why you’ve been unwavering in asking us to trust him. Any sane person who listens to him with an open mind knows exactly that he is trustworthy President whose sole interest is in protecting, and improving the lives of, the American people.

And then he said something of note, he said; you will here more about this in the coming days.
Does he have an arrest planned?
    Me thinks so!
    Hopefully soon!
