Mavis had mentioned that it was easy to transition to soul music from gospel music by substituting ‘baby’ for ‘Jesus’.

WASHINGTON — Even White House chefs could be feeling the pain of government budget cuts.
Assistant chef Sam Kass, who cooks dinner for President Barack Obama several nights a week, said Tuesday that he will be furloughed as part of across-the-board budget cuts that went into effect in March. Kass, who is the president’s senior nutrition policy adviser, made the comments in an interview with food reporters at the White House.
The White House has said 480 workers on the budget staff may have to take days without pay but hasn’t said whether notices have gone out to other Obama aides.
Kass also plants the White House garden and is the director of first lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign to combat childhood obesity. He said that effort won’t be affected.

Yes, but even La Pierre can be given a two-second pass, because he’s a hired gun (pun intended). Inhoffe was elected by the freakin’ voters in a freakin’ democratic contest, and is supposed to be above the “hired gun” stuff. Unfortunately, he’s not.
As I said on the previous thread, I blame the majority of the people of Oklahoma who keep re- electing Inhofe to the Senate. In my humble opinion, Inhofe is a dumb and evil man.

On top of no Al Green duet…….I have very upsetting news, especially for the ladies. Remember the sequester wont affect anybody!
The furlough is only as assistant WH chef. The good news is that he will continue to work in the WH Garden and on FLOTUS’ “let’s move” effort. 🙂
I don’t know he has both titles as policy advisor and chef, but doesn’t get two separate paychecks. If you are furloughed you cant be on premise…..at least that’s my understanding?
