What a lovely tradition the Obamas have taken from the campaign trail to the White House. They respect everyone’s religion.

I know that the United Church of Christ has been their home church in Chicago. My United Church of Christ in Colorado has always had a seder dinner. It just makes sense at our Easter time to experience why Jesus went to celebrate. Sometimes we have our own service after the dinner, including the washing of the feet. It is one of the evenings I enjoy most. It reminds me that we all have so much in common and such small differences.

Only just noticed that those two seem to be looking at each other instead of the candle one is supposed to be lighting! Focus, young lady, young man.

    Allow me a geek moment.

I’m watching Coldplay at Glastonbury, 2009 on Palladia. I’m rocking out, and the camera starts to pan across the audience. And who’s in the audience likewise rocking out? Beyonce and Jay-Z!!

I don’t care what anyone says, I like those Coldplay boys.

Seder customs include drinking four cups of wine, eating matza, partaking of symbolic foods placed on the Passover Seder Plate, and reclining in celebration of freedom.[3] The Seder is performed in much the same way by Jews all over the world.

Two atoms were walking down the street, one of them stops and say, ” I think I lost an electron”. The other atom looks at him and says, are you sure?” The other atom looks over and says, “I’m positive”.

Did anyone see that big headed brother of G.W.Bush talking about how POTUS doesn’t show his brother any respect? I think Jeb Bush is losing it. First of all his brother doesn’t deserve any respect. Second I haven’t heard POTUS disrespecting G.W., all I’ve heard was POTUS telling the truth about G.W. Jeb think by attacking POTUS those right wing racists nuts will support him. But Jeb don’t know or refuse to accept that people have had enough of the Bushes, and we don’t want or need anymore.

      Yep.

Phase I of Jeb’s campaign for the Presidency: trying to mitigate the disadvantage of his last name. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a lot of chatting in the MSM about how, “maybe”, George W. Bush wasn’t as bad as people say he was. MSM wants Christie or Bush. It will be interesting to watch what narrative the Beltway crowd will choose to push.

Didn’t PBO have Jeb and George Senior at the white house? Do any of the Bush family remember what they did yesterday? – and what they have done to their states and country!

Jeb is trying to get ready to run in 2016, he want to try to soften his brother image, he knows he gets that Republican base behind him if he attack POTUS. What he seem to be ignoring is that Americans are sick and tired of the Bushes and we don’t want or need another one in that White House. It’s like someone said, Clinton and Carter has been raising money to help people all over the world. What has G.W. been doing, painting pictures of himself in the mirror and bathtub.

Anniebella, he’s also ignoring the fact that PBO was elected twice because tens of millions of people love him and they won’t be very receptive to someone who starts out trashing him. This go right for primaries, shift center for the general no longer works in the age of the internet. Everyone knows what is said and they don’t forget.

The presence of President Obama is so overwhelming, that these people have forgotten that they won’t be running against him in 2016! Fighting him is an exercise in futility. They seem to think he is going to run again in 2016….of course we wish he could. But he will not be their opponent, so they are just tilting at windmills now.
I believe that the shame of GWB’s administration is going to be brought more and more into the light. That is why he is not commenting. My husband thinks his lawyers have told him not to say a word, because anything he does say may in the future be used against him. He is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, so his best tactic is to remain silent and hopefully people will forget how bad and incompetent he was.

            • March 26, 2013 at 8:47 am

Yes there seems to be a widespread and unfounded fear in some Right-wing circles that PBO will opt to run for a 3rd term and the American people will be willing (for obvious reasons).

all these retiring Dem Senators are adding to the amount of work that we have to do in order to keep Senate and regain the house.

Can Dems go all out and target those gop senators who represent blue states and always vote with republicans on big issues.

I hope Dem candidates do not run away from ObamaCare because by the time the Nov 2014 election comes around, all the new enrollees in ACA will probably realize that a vote for gop means a vote against their new health care.

I also wish Dem candidates focus a lot on economic inequality and the influence of money in votes taken by legislature.
