woohoo – I need a lift me upper – men here for 3rd time – roof still leaks – rain still comes
You only had to pay them once, right?
Still related to insurance – we have paid nothing yet – still in the “make safe” mode – this could take forever – sigh
Chin up! This might be ‘third time’s charm’.
They’ve just left – think they got it – sadly I don’t understand a word of what they said – now waiting for the rain to get heavy again – like a cat & mouse game!
Nah! It’ll be okay now (I whispered the magic words from across the world).
WAY TO GO!!! I am thrilled to bits to see you here at the Top of The World! 99ts! Yes! 😆
Thank you Pamela – everything crossed for no rain in Sydney next month!
Crossing fingers with you, and congrats for being on top of our little world here right now, where all is dry. {{99ts}}
They had to take it to the city council, waiting on the green light, so there is some chance all the work, effort and brilliance will not come to fruition.
G’day…
And congrats on #1. 😀
Hey, Congrats 99ts! 🙂
Wow intresting
Hopefully this will show on the interwebs where I can see MSNBC. 9PM eastern is 12 midday here – the roof people will have to begone in the next 40 minutes
A good down under morning to you 99ts.
Friendly reminder for your DVR as well, if you are so inclined
I can only see c-span online – LP – but the show may end up here on one of our channels.
Do you have an HDMI cable? If you do you can plug it into an input of your tv and watch the internet stream like its on T.V.
Congrats on first 99ts. Hope your roof issues are resolved soon.
I don’t know if this will help but I’ve been able to watch MSNBC live online from this site:
http://www.epctv.com/online_tv_USA.htm
thanks sw – I find this one works for me
http://www.livenewschat.tv/politics/ – a couple of others I tried had so many ads I never got to the show!
Ed being aggressive tonight & now Mark Sanford! Why do goppers ALWAYS want to be paid by government when they hate it so much
Good. Glad you were able to find a site where you can watch it. 🙂
Do you live in the U.S. swbluega? That site is great. I have problems w/ similar sites with country codes. For example if you try to watch SKY TV in the U.K. sometimes it will block. I hope this works for 99ts and other non-US residents.
Yes, I’m in the US. Didn’t know how well it works in other countries or what stations are available. But it’s worked pretty well for me.
BBC is always blocked when I go through their website SKY works if you find the right link. I’m found a google Chrome app that has international channels, but I will check that site out. Thanks.
It’s on at the same time as Hubris.
Ya unfortunately Yardarm. 90 minute program
Show will repeat on MSNBC at midnight EST.
Oh puhleeze! Some of us geezers have to sleep. 😉
Doubt I’d be able to stay awake for the midnight re-broadcast either. 🙂
Yup. 😀
No wonder the GOP want to privatize it, big interest payments for them, eh?
I truly hope this book brings to light all the dark and treacherous manipulation this group is so guilty of…..
It’s almost worth refreshing your memory on the thorough media scrutiny the last administration got, before you watch tonight’s ‘hindsight’ documentary.
/………
Chief among the cheerleaders was MSNBC’s Chris Matthews. On the May 1, 2003, edition of Hardball, Matthews was joined in his effusive praise of Bush by right-wing pundit Ann Coulter and “Democrat” Pat Caddell. Former U.S. Rep. Robert K. Dornan (R-CA) also appeared on the program.:
MATTHEWS: What’s the importance of the president’s amazing display of leadership tonight?
[…]
MATTHEWS: What do you make of the actual visual that people will see on TV and probably, as you know, as well as I, will remember a lot longer than words spoken tonight? And that’s the president looking very much like a jet, you know, a high-flying jet star. A guy who is a jet pilot. Has been in the past when he was younger, obviously. What does that image mean to the American people, a guy who can actually get into a supersonic plane and actually fly in an unpressurized cabin like an actual jet pilot?
………………………..
MATTHEWS: We’re proud of our president. Americans love having a guy as president, a guy who has a little swagger, who’s physical, who’s not a complicated guy like [former President Bill] Clinton or even like [former Democratic presidential candidates Michael] Dukakis or [Walter] Mondale, all those guys, [George] McGovern. They want a guy who’s president. Women like a guy who’s president. Check it out. The women like this war. I think we like having a hero as our president. It’s simple. We’re not like the Brits. We don’t want an indoor prime minister type, or the Danes or the Dutch or the Italians, or a [Russian Federation President Vladimir] Putin. Can you imagine Putin getting elected here? We want a guy as president.
…………………./
That is SOeasy to believe (and it is true) – Matthews thinks brawn – not brain is what a President should be – Women like war! What was he on???
The same thing he is still on in 2013? I cannot watch him normally as I find him rude (interruptions) and uncontrolled (spitting), and far too inconsistent.
Thank you for the link and inspiration, VC!!
Never Again
YVW, Bobfr! Quite a contrast between media then praising Bush to the hilt for just being president, yet hounding President Obama despite all he HAS done to correct Bush’s errors.
I think the most significant hurbis is the MSM amnesia of their role in selling the WMD lie to the American public.
THIS THIS THIS…..
Indeed, Idon. It’s like they change views as easily as they change clothing, then promptly forget what they had said previously if it’s obviously been proven wrong. Then they act like they are always right. 🙄
Exactly, Idon! The media sold the WMD lie and cheered the invasion of Iraq. We must never forget the role played by our supposedly objective and detached media in the U.S. war on Iraq. I refuse to call it the “Iraq war.” Iraq had absolutely no say so about this war, which was wholly initiated by the United States. This was indeed a classical war of aggression outlawed by the U.N. Charter and Geneva Conventions. And our media were deeply implicated in it.
Completely agree.
Isn’t that just sickening? That’s the sincerity we’re dealing with—–it’s just a game with these media dudes. It’s all play acting. It has nothing at all to do with reporting truth to the population. I remember Tweety gushing about Bush too—–in his flight suit, every time he would appear at his fake ranch in jeans with a big belt buckle—–that really turned Tweety on——he was beside himself with swooning. Pretty sick.
Pathetic, Dotster, and made all the more so since we realized the deceit Bush + admin practised, and in light of how they currently treat a president who has given them no cause to be disrespectful.
Exactly, dotster!
Yet all that gushing didn’t work, did it, VC? Bush was not admired and and his job approval stank. He left his presidency widely considered the worst president ever. President Obama gets only rare positive media. But he is deeply beloved and considered the best president i most people’s lifetime. Conclusion–when the media talks, most people don’t listen. Mathews made a fool of himself in his effusiveness about the Bush “manliness.” Most people were laughing at Bush and Mathews comments were mocked.
Not only did it not work, JG, I find great joy in the fact we have it on record that these MSM types don’t know what they are talking about.
🙂
uugghh, what an ugly reminder and even uglier bunch. reminds me of this sad joke
A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.
He asked, “What are all those clocks?” St. Peter answered, “Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move.”
“Oh,” said the man, “whose clock is that?”
“That’s Mother Teresa’s. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.”
“Incredible,” said the man. “And whose clock is that one?”
St. Peter responded, “That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life.”
“Where’s President Bush’s clock?” asked the man.
“Bush’s clock is in Jesus’ office. He’s using it as a ceiling fan.”
I think the devil has dibs on Romney’s and Cheney’s clocks…..
😀 So true, sad, but true.
my bestest schadenfreude moment of shrub
the shoes in the asshole’s ‘farewell’ tour to iraq.
Yes! That was supreme, and so well deserved.
That was a terrible moment of shame for America, no matter that the guy who was president then deserved the shoes, ten-fold. Not one of my favorite episodes, because it said so much.
au contraire, it should be moment of reflection for americans that they put this corrupt lying war criminal in office … twice.
…to our eternal shame. i was devastated, that america was capable of such stupidity and recklessness. but matthews said it (above): americans go for the swagger, even when it’s demonstrably the swagger of a villain.
I agree with that part, and of course I wasn’t one of them, but otherwise it’s a terrible, shameful embarrassment for our country. That’s all I meant. You can use it all you want.
The Shoe incident was both hilarious and apropos! Poor G.W. Bush. He was expecting flowers and sweets. and being proclaimed the liberator by Iraqis,
Hmmm. Should I come off my self-imposed pundit boycott to watch MSNBC tonight? I find Rachel almost intolerable, but I do find David Corn informative for the most part. We know that what is hidden will come to light, and I’m always interested in seeing the Bush criminals get some airing out. Maybe I’ll let you guys tell me how it was…
As I mentioned previously, I saw Zero Dark Thirty over the weekend. One of the minor, yet recurring, themes was how intelligence officers were being extra careful, perhaps even paranoid, in presenting the case for going after bin Laden in this compound. Why? Because of how faulty the intelligence had been regarding WMDs — and how hard the sell was for going into Iraq regardless. Such insanity.
She’s just narrating…
Thanks DF, I’m watching. Hope I don’t blow before it’s over. 👿
Well damn….Rachel’s opening sentences got me hooked….I’m watching. 😎
There is a book.
#Hubris trending ….. sustain it …
Never Again
Never Again
Howdy Family!
Hey stranger! Holding up alright?
Hiya LP! Yep, doing fine. Gonna have to miss the first bit of Hubris tonight though. Wanna get home to my couch.
I’ll expect a full recap from my TOD Family when I log back on though. 🙂
Hey Dudette:-) Hope you’re feeling better…
Hey, Kasai! Thanks, I’m doing well! How YOU doin’? 🙂
Howdy stranger. How are you?
Hi Carol!
Hi.
That Meh – was a roar of the media praising GWB
Good point!
Thank you , Dudette. You make my heart smile…. Where have you been?
Just heard this weekend while attending a wedding in, my pearling niece, that Forest Whittaker was accused of shoplifting, patted down outside a NY deli while filming a movie. He went in to get a yogurt and changed his mind. The clerk followed him and patted him down.
Wait….it gets better that crazy Ann Coutre lady ran off a plane because she did not want to be flown by an AA woman pilot.
Don’t have the link form either, sorry guys. If anyone can, please do.
Forest Whitaker story:
http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/forest-whitaker-stopped-frisked-upper-east-side-deli-article-1.1266100
Ann Coulter story was a parody.
http://www.mediaite.com/online/no-everyone-ann-coulter-did-not-refuse-to-board-a-plane-because-pilot-was-black/
Thank you, swbluega.
Did not have my iPad with me to confirm. I am so glad to be back home. I live my family, but weddings and Thanksgiving takes a lot out of me. I had fun making fun of their NJ Gov, while they poke fun of NY mayor. Cake was real good, though”
Thanks LDS and swbluega!
I heard Forest Whitaker’s ordeal this morning, didn’t know about Ann Coulter story, but it certainly doesn’t surprise me.
thanks Dudette, this picture hangs in my office and I repeat that mantra every day. She was an amazing woman.
President Obama is back at the White House as of 8 minutes ago. Safely Home!
Thanks LP – hope he left the WHPC in Florida – now that would be my dream
you are not alone!
It occurs to me that Cruz needs the livin’ crap beat out of him. But I’m opposed to violence so I won’t mention it.
Yes, me, too, so I won’t mention that.
I hope Texas makes him a one term Senator like Scott Brown…..
Amen to that!
I wish! Sadly Texas is not like Massachusetts. Scott Brown became Senator because: (1) some misguided, holier than thou, Democrats decided to stay home in 2010 to punish President Obama; and (2), his Democratic opponent was a lousy candidate.
Do you know there is a way to hold the trigger to make them fire even faster? That’s what hubby learned from his idjit brother. Guess you can find anything on Internet. They fire more like a machine gun. 😡
This stuff really needs to be outlawed.
Yes it does.
Pres Obama already wants to ban assault weapons. It’s many in Congress who are resisting. This is a hard-hitting ad, apart from that last bit.
agreed – tell congress to ban assault weapons would make much more sense
PALM CITY, Fla. — In a gym usually home to the Hyde Park Academy Thunderbirds, President Obama spoke about his own home late last week — and the trouble it faces.
He warned students and teachers that the fragility of families, the easy violence of guns, and a threatened education system are failing Chicago’s South Side, where he once worked as a community organizer and began his family.
Change “requires us reflecting internally about who we are and what we believe in,” he told the rows of uniformed students lining the blue breeze-block walls in bleachers. “And facing up to our own fears and insecurities, and admitting when we’re wrong.”

Cutest couple EVAH! Watching them makes me smile…..
I sure wished they would make an announcement for April Fool’s that they are having a baby.
Repugs would surely explode like never before…..
For the rest of the four years, I hope he plays with them like a fiddle, the WH press included ,unmercifully in his own way.
They are such fools…..he is having fun playing with them. I am enjoying every minute of this…..play on Playa!
I got my popcorn and a cold drink!
🙂 What kind of beer?
Rhum and coke with a bit of lime.
Aaah….That’s also my fav’rite kind. 🙂 🙂
Great minds drink alike! 😀
Indeed! I’m so stealing that line….
😆 😆
I got my midday coffee
Ha! Mines better than yours….Rhum and coke.
later later – 4pm the bar opens
Hoist a pint for me then.
dick cheney, bush and his father are flying on Air Force One. cheney looks at dubya, chuckles and says, “You know, I could throw a $100.00 bill out the window right now and make one person very happy.”
dubya says, “Well, I could throw ten $10.00 bills out the window and make 10 people very happy.”
bush senior says, “Of course then, I could throw one-hundred $1.00 bills out the window and make a hundred people very happy.”
The pilot rolls her eyes, looks at all of them and says, “I could throw all of you out the window and make the whole country happy.”
Hahahahhahah! That would make up all happy indeed! 😀
😆
Perfect.
These damn criminals — just insanity upon insanity. 👿
This is why none of them can leave the US – war criminal comes to mind
Are you talking about Bush, Cheney, Rice, and who is?
Are they the war criminals?
Rumsfield, Gen. Frank.
The Democrats should also be ashamed going along with Bush/Cheney when they KNEW damned well that the intelligence was iffy.
Not to bring up old wounds but this was a major reason I didn’t care for HRC as a candidate.
It’s interesting that Hillary’s one scene in the documentary was her telling Bush to use the power wisely and as a last resort. I see that they were careful not to tarnish her image so she’s still able to run in 2016 – even though she voted FOR this illegal war. They should have ended that documentary with President Obama finally putting an end to that illegal war.
Rachel’s initial comments are…meh, but hopefully she won’t overshadow t
Both sides do it – doncha know
Are you still watching? I’m too nervous to try again in case the stress was too much for my laptop.
I’m watching here – less problems than anything else I try
http://www.livenewschat.tv/politics/
Dare I try? I don’t know. How long is this supposed to be anyway? 1 hour? two?
I don’t know the length – as it is Rachel’s show – video will be up later on msnbc – you could watch it then.
I really have no trouble with this site – others have given me grief. This one cuts out after a certain time (unless you pay) but you simply start it again. Works for me – I am on a desktop – not a lap – only an I3 chip – but fast enough for me
I’ll catch segments of it later, I think, since I’ve already lost parts of it.
Thanks tho, 99ts.
I’m tentatively back in the village. Don’t know for how long. I tried to watch Hubris on line at one of the sites suggested above, had my twitter stream open at same time , had TOD open and was commenting on Rachel’s intro when my screen went dead. Not sure I’m going to try Hubris again while still in the village. Will just follow along here and on twitter, if laptop allows me. 🙄 Shucks, and it felt so good to watch the start of the doc online! Ah me!
I always hoped (fantasized?) that Secretary Powell would finally discard the “code of honor” for his civilian service in the shrub administration and lay out the TRUTH and his DISMAY of the criminal incompetence, hubris, greed and disregard of responsibility he was sucked into and witnessed. I was HOPING that Secretary Rice would do the same. *SIGH*. I guess there’s a strong instinct for survival and sustaining personal credibility that prevents them froming taking the risk?
It does take a super human to admit that all you stood for was wrong
I was waiting for someone in power—–anyone—–in our government, in our media——someone with integrity to step forward and tell the truth, someone with influence to bring the war-mongering to a screeching halt. And no one did. There were protests, but they were drowned out by the overwhelming consensus of the power structure to go to war. Shocking.
here’s then-senator chuck hagel blasting conartist rice on that topic:
Just watched this – no wonder the GOP is attacking Hagel – everything he said was SO TRUE. The republicans hate the facts.
You are absolutely right, 99ts! John McCain finally came clean about the main reason why the GOP Senators are attacking Chuck Hagel: He dared to criticize George W. Bush’s Iraq war policies.
Secretary Rice will never admit her part in the death of over 4000 Americans, the 3000 before that in the 9/11 attacks, or the 100,000+ men, women and children who died in Iraq over the Bush agenda of revenge. She is the same as Bush and Cheney. I don’t know how she sleeps at night.
Should have left them in Florida – now they will all whinge about “off the record”
Who do these WHPC bozos think they are? Of course, the president sets the terms of the relationship–he IS the president and they are the poorest excuses for journalists it’s possible to find. If they were good at their jobs and researched and asked serious questions, they might be treated differently. But who can respect fools and whiners.
This WHPC is a bunch of whining stupid fools. i am fed up with this whole thing. If POTUS was playing golf with some Joe Smith the WHPC wouldn’t give a dam about seeing them, but because it was Tiger Woods they are having a dam fit and it is stupid.
So, can we expect them to declare war with the President on coverage, questions, GOP pandering? How will we recognize this war from what they’ve been doing for the past four years??
Indistinguishable, plain and simple.
I am working on an “Open Letter to the Media, and in particular the WHPC”, which I plan to send to my local paper. This is essentially what I plan to say:
Dear MSM and WHPC:
Contrary to what you may think, many of us are not particularly obsessed with the President’s week-end golfing. I personally find golf to be very boring; and just because it’s the President playing does not make it any more exciting. I am also puzzled why you think it’s absolutely necessary to follow the President when he is out having fun with friends over a three day week-end. I bet you what you want to do to him is not necessarily the same as would have others do unto you. By the way, are your lives so miserable that you can’t take a week-end off to be with your own family or your loved ones, instead of going around stalking the President and being so outraged because he won’t allow you to interfere with his golf game?
Finally, and more importantly, what makes you think that the vast majority of Americans agree with you in this business of not allowing the President some privacy on the week-end, so that he can rest, relax, rejuvenate, and play some golf if he wants to, so that he may be able to come back to Washington, refreshed and ready to deal with monumental issues facing the country? I mean issues like Jobs, Sequestration, immigration, the abominable gun violence and the totally dysfunctional Congress. Why, for example, are you not outraged at the Republican Senators who are using frivolous excuses to block the confirmation of the Sec. of Defense? Why aren’t you obsessed with getting to the bottom of the issue about the intent of GOP members of Congress to destroy the economy simply because they hate President Obama so much?
Your obsession with the President’s week-end golfing is silly and childish, and clearly reveals that you are more interested in sensationalism and trivia than you are about truthfully keeping the American people informed about crucial issues that affect their lives.
Unless you change and decide to go back to practicing real journalism, you are turning many of us off. There is already enough trivia and sensationalism on T.V. We don’t need more from the so called White House Press, Corp!

PS.
I highly doubt that my severely right wing paper will ever print my open letter to the media, but after cleaning it up I plan on sending it to the my metro paper.
Send it! It’s brilliant!
Thanks, Dudette. I definitely will send it. I am just so sick of our media.
Wonderful. Don’t forget to add the 3-week paid holiday that the rethug congress critters forced on the house when sequester is about to hit the americans.

she makes my skin crawl. so much trust and hope invested in her, and all she did with it is position herself for power. i’m not sure she’s not evil.
I am sure she is. Isn’t the show “Scandal” everyone is talking about supposed to be about her?
While riding in a taxi in DC during the Inauguration, our cab driver shared some juicy tidbits. They are much informative than the WH press. Every cab we rode in shared news about GW that was not favorable.
No LDS, Scandal is not based on her. I think the lady name is Judy Smith or something like that, but I definitely know it’s not based on Condi. Ugh, that would be too boring!!
Judy Smith’s crisis management at heart of ‘Scandal’
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0412/74781.html
I’m convinced she’s as evil as the crowd she hangs out with.
Mr. Bobfr, you are so right. I agree with you 100%!
It is not fair they are allowed to get away with all of these senseless lives that were loss. How can they sleep at night?
How is it, folks, Hubris, is it worth watching?
You bet yer ass matey.
If I were PBO I would have given them the finger and shouted “None of your damn business!” But that’s why he’s President and not me.
I told you the Beltway is attempting to smear him Into a Bush like character.
All this stuff they are drumming up is a smear, the same way they sold the Iraq war.
Sort of like, remember when Bish did this and that, same with Obama, see?
Notice what they are doing and pass it on!
🙂
Problem is, it will backfire on the Beltway and It can’t hapen soon enough. The American people hates the Beltway media and trust the president over them.
It’s the Republicans pushing it with the complicit MSM.
since we know president obama always has a plan, I bet we’re seeing the first stages of his plan to neutralize the billionaire media outlets. they are responding just as he would expect, and I can’t wait to see what he’s got in store next for these clowns like ed henry. they have no idea who they’re dealing with.
by the way, just noticed this…why do so many of the beltway media whiners have two-first-name names anyway? ed henry. david gregory. chuck todd. chris wallace. there’s probably more. kind of weird…
🙂 🙂 🙂
Looking at this – the first names – and you are so right…. is so funny and scary at the same time.
OMG, you’re right! Quite an odd pattern!
i love that pbo denied them their celebrity-gasm photo of these two famous men enjoying a game of golf. if they could be trusted to stay quiet, respect the president’s right to relax, and to treat this non-event with reasonable lightness, they might have been invited. too bad for them, but they just flunked another test of their reasonableness, seriousness, and importance.
Or me.
We don’t know what was running through his mind, hope. Probably something very similar to your scenario. The WHPC doesn’t even see how ridiculous and embarrassing they are with this nonsense.
“Pool reported as he walked by reporters on SoLawn, they shouted in unison: ‘Did u beat Tiger?!’
So, this is the most monumental question they were dying to ask the President? Is the fact that the media was unable to ask the President the question of who won, Tiger or PBO, the main reason why the WHPC was so, so angry that they had to file a protest to the WH to show that the President was not transparent?
The U.S. media, and especially the WHPC, really suck big time!
http://twitter.com/SheSheGo/statuses/303695696081600512
No wonder Bush stays at the ranch. The duty ‘bad-ass’ is only half of that!
The ranch was disassembled right after Bush left office—–it was just a stage prop— a Rove devised fake ranch so Bush could look like a cowboy like Reagan. The Bushes live in a gated community in Dallas, where they’ve lived since the day they left D.C.
He sure as hell needs to stay there.
The ex-President of Mexico Vicente Fox mocked Bush as a rancher because he was afraid of horses. Bush was a fake all this life that’s why he struggled with alcohol and drugs. He could never live up to his fathers and grandparents accomplishments. If you ever have the opportunity to watch “W” please do so. It was one of the “free” movies offered on Charter Cable.
Like the ex governor of Alaska needs help to shoot a gun – so many republicans – so many fakes
Bring back the draft…..
Russ Feingold and Robert Bird voted against the war.
It seems too many thought voting against it would cost them an election. War and guns are seen to win elections – when will what is right overcome self interest
And Kennedy and Paul Wellstone.
And so did my Senator, Barbara Boxer as well as the late Senator Teddy Kennedy.
And Tony Blair supported this – as did my PM – but without the UK this war was NEVER going to happen
Tony Blair was a weenie and a Bush puppet.
Very true, 99. If Blair had not cooperated, Bush & Cheney would not have been able to proceed. And, plenty of folk within Blair’s government knew it was all being based on lies. Neither the US or UK will ever have the moral stature they aspire until both countries sponsor War Crimes Tribunals and hold these people accountable.
Yes We Can
What Tony Blair did was unforgivable. Just an observation but all those BP franchises popped up all over the place right just after the invasion of Iraq. Coincidence? I think not.
And that I did not know – money talks – and the young die
not only that, but the commercials were for “Beyond Petroleum”. I told a few people it was really British Petroleum but nobody gave it a thought until the oil spill in the gulf and then they were quite happy to call it British Petroleum. People are weird sometimes! I just always thought the sudden appearance of all those franchises was a kickback for Blair’s support of the Iraq war. Only my opinion. I have no proof.
Bush/Cheney and their inner circle should be prosecuted for deliberately leading us to a war and the murder of American citizens.
I cannot believe that the U.S. is for the most part indifferent to this news.
Believe it. ‘Them’s still good old boys.”
“We must go to war – before the summer” – sounds like Napoleon and Hitler attacking Russia before the winter. Both of the later were seen as the aggressors – so should GWB and Tony Blair.
Yup.
My tv just died of a gun shot wound. 😦
My God, the end of the documentary was… powerful.
I was in tears. All over again.
Me too.
UK maybe? US can’t. It would stop government, to much else to do, unfortunately bush is lucky. We almost hot them during that Plame situation, lousy US prosecutor- however.
Wish they could have pinned something on Judy miller.
That’s the absolute TRUTH, AMK! without the media cheers leading and misinforming the American people the war would not have happened. But even more egregious, the media totally blacked out the massive world wide opposition to the war. I mean the same media that were tripping over themselves to cover teabag protests barely covered the much larger and more massive protests against the U.S./British war on Iraq.
I’ve posted this THOUGHT many times so it’s very told-you-so-ish. NOT like many others haven’t thought what I’ve blabbed! But shrub was pure, 1000% sickening and repulsive FAUX toughness. Manufatured, disconnected from the man, his history and actions….pure scripted, awkward and pathetic: “Bring ’em on!” Your grandma could have said “Boo” and made that man soil his pants .
TOTAL CONTRAST: Barack Obama the Man and the President is demonstrated TOUGHNESS. Always thoughtful and strategic, but the President has proven time and time again he’s ONE TOUGH HOMBRE.
Great analysis, magapie. Couldn’t agree more, especially the part about grandma. Bush was a coward and a mental pigmy. But he liked the trappings of power and the attention. He liked the idea of being a “war president” and hoped it would give him macho cred.

Evening Obots!
Well, I’ve been out of range most of the day, so had no idea about “Hubris” being on tonight. We arrived home from our wine trip at about 3.30 pm, and promptly napped. Now doing laundry and getting ready for tomorrow. Will try to get back into the swing of things, but this promises to be a slightly hectic week for me.
I posted this earlier. I need some calif reds for my kenyan clients coming over tomorrow. What do you rec under 100 bucks?
Peachy Canyon and Wild Horse are my two favorite CA wineries. Probably because I go to the Central Coast more than I do to Napa. Pretty much you can’t go wrong with any of their wines. Yesterday I also tried a new to me winery—Hug Cellars—which makes a great Mouvedre and Chateau-Neuf-de Pape.
How amazing, LL. my hubby and I just came back from the same area. We loved two small wineries called Starr Ranch and Deodore (close to the Justin Winery and Las Tablas Creek). We also went to Summerwood, Halter Ranch, Lone Madrone (which we loved, Halter not so much), and Kenneth Volk beside Lone Madrone. We loved Volk’s Zin, and a Tannet. We also went to Robert Hall. We had a wonderful time! We liked the smaller vineyards the best.
AMK, here are my favorites reds:
Cabs: You can’t go wrong with”Rutherford” and other reasonably priced Mondavis. Any Mondavi Cab selling from $30 to 100 will probably turnout to be very good. For Cabs, the older the vintage the more smooth it tastes. Recently, I discovered a very reasonably priced, and very delicious Cab, called “Bin 32” It is priced under 30 dollars, but it’s really quite elegant, and very drinkable.
I am a Pinot Noir enthusiast because I love seafood and Pinot goes so well with Salmon. Here are two my favorite pinots:
Again, “Bin 32 pinot” is delicious and so is “Donovan-Parke Pinot.” I don’t know what the prices would be in India, but you can get both of these wines here in CA under $30.
Personally, I am not that impressed with some of the overpriced Red wines. If they are not properly aged they can turn out to be a disaster. In adition, as Palin would say, also, too, check out the Greg Norman wines, both the cab and the pinot (especially the Diamond series). They are very decent and very drinkable, and very reasonably priced. Here in CA they are generally priced below $20.
Good luck! I hope you find a good wine to impress your clients. Remember don’t be fooled by pricy red wines if they are not properly aged. If you can’t find a good wine you like you can always entertain your friends from Kenya with Heineken beer. Most of my friends from Africa love beer, especially Heineken, more than wine. By the way, here in San Diego, the wine store I go to, “Beverages and More,” carries a Kenyan beer, which is quite delicious.
All the best!
Thanks Nath & LL. I will be booze shopping tomorrow. The Indian prices for imported wines are more than double due to mark-ups and taxes. I will look for the brands suggested by you. We don’t get much of selection in imported wines here.
Glad to hear someone enjoyed National Wine Drinking Day. It is also crab stuffed flounder day! 😉
It repeats after Lawrence and Ed.
Difference between haters and critics – that was well said. Republicans in congress are haters – they do not critically look at any legislation – they just hate the President.
I agree. Even before they became so open about their hatred, my problem with them was that they always disagreed and said the President’s proposals were wrong, but never offered an alternative.
We are seeing more and more that they had no alternative because many of the proposals initially came from them.
Excellent documentary. Sickening behavior by our Gov’t.
If there was any slant or smear negative to PBO I sure didn’t see it.
Wonder, on the other hand, if airing this info now is signaling an intent to prosecute Bush/Cheney. Probably not but a woman can dream.
One plus was the media admitting that they didn’t do their job…
Mr. Bobfr,
You are so brilliant!
Very kind, LDS. Thank you. Am just like everyone else here at TOD (and throughout America) – just someone who cares.
#FORWARD
So perfect! They need to add an “emphatic retweet” button!
Indeed. The same media that tried to give us “President Romney” who would have taken us right into another useless war.
Excellent, GB and Bobfr!
agreed!
That’s a good one, Bob.
Excellent!
Bob – And I’m fully convinced that we ran out of the will to fully investigate and prosecute Bush because of what Clinton’s impeachment trial did to our consciousness and the running of our government, along with the Watergate and Iran-Contra hearings of previous decades. I think we ran out of will. So the biggest travesty, in my mind, is that Bush-Cheney will get a pass unless an international war crimes trial can be set, or maybe another decade or so goes by and we re-visit. Am I wrong?
I think you are sooooo right!
Bravo Bob! This should re-tweeted over and over again!
Sometimes losing it helps!!! The insurance company – who have been doing nothing for weeks – have just given the approval to building company to do our repairs – I imploded at 9am this morning – 1pm the approval is given – That weasel of an assessor knows I am putting my complaints about him in writing – wouldn’t talk to me today & a senior intelligent person took 4 hours to fix what hadn’t been done.
NEW ROOF!!! 🙂 Cheers, 99ts! I know what you mean about losing it on these guys….done my share of that with the TBTF banks!
Yeah, I lost it once with a pool installer, one evening in their showroom in front of dozens of future clients (my dialogue coulda won an award for a dark short film at Sundance – not sure where my hit job performance came from or what category they’d award it for), and all of a sudden my work was top priority the following morning. The guy was so “afraid” that I’d yell at him, again, he brought his two-year-old son with him, so I’d have to be nice. I hate losing it like that, but sometimes you reach your breaking point.
brought the 2 year old along – is he a Sarah Palin fan – her mode of operandi to use children for protection.
The few times I have lost it would be a full feature film. 😈
You go, girl! I’ll bring the popcorn. (I only remember losing it once in that kind of situation. Was so enraged that I couldn’t even be embarrassed by my performance in public, that day!)
It takes a lot to get me that mad, but I do have a limit. 🙂
hey DF – I always thinking of your rain issues – hope things are moving along – This wonderful world of private enterprise keep telling me how busy they are – if they had done things right in the beginning – more time to do other things – I hate that we live in a world where the loudest get attention. I am glad, however, that guns played no part in these proceedings!
Here’s the JFK50 Video that Lawrence O’Donnell is playing tonight
50 years later, a reinterpretation of JFK’s famous words
http://tv.msnbc.com/2013/02/18/50-years-later-a-reinterpretation-of-jfks-famous-words/
“Let the Word Go Forth” is a film of many faces and voices re-creating President John F. Kennedy’s inaugural address.
CONTRIBUTORS (In order of appearance)
There it is. I didn’t see it before I entered my request. This is a two hankie for me.
Me too yardarm.
Thank you so much for that, Dudette! I was in high school, when JFK was inaugurated … used to come home from school and watch his brilliant press conferences (an early political junkie).
Did you see the interview of him when he was still Senator? Jacqueline was pregnant with Caroline. The journo, Chet Huntly maybe, asked if he was, and if his first was a boy, would he like him to go into politics? Sen. Kennedy said he hoped that if it were boy or GIRL, he hoped they would become public servants in some way to their country. That is a paraphrase of course. I need to research that quote. I thought it was profound. He talked of the future and how it would have an affect on his children. I think PBO is a secret admirer of what Kennedy talked about. But I don’t think he wants to be compared to other presidents. Not that they’re similar in other ways. But who was the last Senator, before PBO to become President? Thanks so much for sharing the video. I thought Lawrence might have the day off.
Colin Powell didn’t fit – given the Rachel Show – but I remember the amazement that a Catholic could be president – and less than 40 years later African Americans are part of that speech – there is so much good in the US – that the GOP will never understand.
It is not to be lost that democrats have earned the right to proclaim what is good about their world – it is a long time since a republican president had anything of benefit to offer the country or the world.
Hear, hear, 99ts!!!!
Larry O is running a powerful piece. I hope chips can capture it.
Bush the Butcher!
We have to remember too, that war went right on a credit card. I hope Cheney, Bush etc. watched it. My lord, it made me mad all over again. I keep thinking President Obama may have brought this country forward enough so that we won’t get suckered into a stupid war like that again.
I can’t watch it auni. I remember the day, weeks before we entered the war when I heard from an accountant at my Fitness Center who also did the taxes, etc. for a General in the military that the rumors were true, we were gong to war. I know where I was standing at the Fitness Center and I can still feel the knot that formed in my stomach. I felt sick. Really, sick. Then a few months later when I attended the funeral of one of my son’s friends’ brother who was one of the first to die in Iraq, I was so sad, sad and angry. After that, I put it out of my head. I just would not think about it. The mention of “war” or “Iraq” would find me in tears. And I too as others have indicated, turned off my tv if Bush, Cheney, or Rice were on.
I remember those days too well also. Our department secretary was a big fan of that war……none of her family had to serve. I remember well one night she said: “Well, I’m going to go home and watch basketball and the war.” That to me illustrated the total obscenity of the entire venture. “Watching the war” as if it too was a spectator sport! She was a huge supporter of GWB, thought God had made him president.
Interestingly, none of the faculty members were in favor of that war at all. She kind of was alone in our department. So glad Rachel had that show tonight. It needs to be repeated and added to.
Haven’t been posting for a week, as I visited my sister. She is also a rabid rightwinger so we do not talk about politics at all. I kept up with TOD on my smart phone, but wasn’t comfortable enough with it to post. However, read every day. So glad the president had a nice private vacation time.
Dotster….do you have a link to info about GWB’s fake ranch?
Do anyone know when FLOTUS and the girls will be back home?
It is nice to know they had privacy.
The Man we now have as President, President Barak Hussain Obama, voted aginst that terrible war. I felt physically sick after watching Hubris : The selling of the Iraq War. Thank you God, thank you America for electing The President not once, but twice.
State senate in Illinois!
Should have said President Obama against the war, I am so angry and upset once again over what Bush and Cheney did to so many. I did detect a squirm in his chair when asked the last question, looked like a sure sign of admission of guilt.
I see the CNN paparazzi did get some film of Obama on the golf course. Looks like it was with a telephoto lens, reminds me of vid you would see from some trash rag trying to grab some honeymoon footage of some celebrity couple. No wonder Ed Henry didn’t respond to the politico story. He had this in the can—-should be real proud. Our news media is a wasteland.
http://www.mediaite.com/tv/game-changer-cnn-airs-video-of-obama-golfing-during-private-vacation/
Where the fuck is Secret Service? This looks like a major security breach to me!!
Private club, members allowed to move freely. The golf channel reporter was actually a member, which the WH press failed to mention. Which is why he was reporting from inside the Floridian. This video is from some other member’s phone playing a different hole.
Still don’t like the idea of anybody being able to photograph my President with stealth through some bushes. Gave me the chills seeing that! NOT COOL, should NOT be allowed. They should have confiscated phones and cameras.
What you dont see is there about 25-30 SS agents in the woods and adjacent holes whenever PBO goes to a golf course. They have coordinated movement 4 holes at a time in rotation. I promise you he was in no danger. SS Dude travel w/ parings 1 hole ahead and behind as well perpendicular. For example on Saturday all members had to start their rounds before 11a.m. b/c after that nobody could play until POTUS was over. On a side note, GOLF channel is a NBC owned channel another thing press failed to mention.
Thanks LP, that sets me at ease… a little. How do you know this stuff? Are you ex-SS? 🙂
Even if he had not been a member, the Golf Channel probably has more integrity than CNN,, MSNBC , or any of the others!
And rt. wing goofballs Mike Allen and Jim Vandehei have a new post on Politico calling Obama a “puppet master”, saying he’s controlling access and the press and blah blah blah and sob, sob, sob— still smarting that they weren’t allowed to tag along with Obama and Tiger. Just a complete toddler temper tantrum.
The best way to deal with toddler tantrums is to NOT give them what they are demanding. President Obama does that perfectly – I just wish he had left them all to catch a bus home from Florida
@CNN Airs Video Of Pres #Obama Golfing On Vacation. WTH! This looks like a security breach! @secreteservice http://bit.ly/130iDqz
They are pathetic. Why were they so desperate to get pictures of the President? They’re like high school kids who all follow the leader off a cliff. One of them wanted pictures, and then riled up the rest of them into a state of upset. If you asked them – why? – they wouldn’t even be able to tell you. What does Tiger Woods have to do with running the government or being leader of the free world? It’s one thing for them to have wanted to see a picture, but then to make an international incident out of it? Ridiculous and pathetic.
reading comments here tonight, and thought of one of my favorite videos from the obama 2012 campaign….”The man in the purple shirt”
Thanks for sharing. I’ve never seen it. Thought I’d seen all campaign videos because we watch Denver News channels. It was cool that Pres. Obama was wearing a tie almost matching his shirt in the speech.
Terrific!!! Had to tweet it!!
Hubris made me mad. I got mad at AND for Colin Powell. He was used but he didn’t follow his instincts. I was near tears when that scientist said he felt betrayed when Shrub/Cheney went against his assessment and lied.
I honestly don’t expect them to be jailed for this. Never did. The congress that gave Shrub the go ahead to invade Iraq would also block charges against him. but jeebus h christ! Can the media stop running to these people for their opinion on national security? Now we’re going to see darth vader and his spawn all over tv to defend themselves. Condi is a cbs news contributor for crying out loud.
Perfect questions, gobrooklyn – why does the media run to these absolute failures for national security comments when they so failed the country like this? It’s offensive.
“Can the media stop running to these people for their opinion on national security?”
GB, I am in total agrement with your question! Why must we continue to listen to these unethical people who sent so many people to die purely because of their hubris?
https://twitter.com/niquedenise/status/303704193074610176
heard that earlier – perfect tweet – thanks gobrooklyn
O/T Serious espionage going on here, this is why we need a SOD Hagel in Brussels for NATO this week………..
painful truth.
Good gracious, It’s almost 12 hours since I’ve been hanging around the village! G’Night everyone! Good afternoon, 99ts, glad to hear you are getting some movement regarding your roof! Sweet dreams those who are heading to bed! I’m out!
bye vc – enjoy what is left of your day – not many chores happening here today – I blame the rain!
No, the Twilight characters. 😮
This was posted by susanne up thread – I just found time to watch it – WOW – the reason McCain & his party hate Hagel
Hagel took many others down, too. Loved each time.
whoever created this clip made sure we couldn’t miss the look in her eyes. hagel showed no fear of her or her neocon buddies. but she sure scares the beejeeezus out of me.
Senator Hagel was the only Republican voice of reason who would speak up without reservation during this horrific period in our nation’s history. I admired him then and I admire him now.
Media still cranky about their supposed “lack of access.”

Fun video ~ From George Washington To Barack Obama – A Long Way
That was cool – but I wish they hadn’t had to morph President Obama from Bush’s picture. It was also strange to see the changing fashions.
Trivia. Who was the president who liked to skinny dip every morning?
It was John Quincy Adams. 😳
And wasn’t he the one that said to beware of the Military Industrial Complex………..
I believe he was.
He certainly was, Anna! That farewell Address by Dwight Eisenhower was by far one of his most shining hour. His warning about “the Military Industrial Complex,” which the country never paid heed to, came to fruition.
I think now we have a good sense of why Colin Powell supported Barack Obama.
Hi Yardarm – 15 minutes past the hour – a toast – and yes – I agree – supporting PBO seems to be the apology of choice for those who realized the harm of the GWB administration.
Agreed. Powell Chief-of-Staff has been telling it on the talk shows for a long time anyway……click!
I’m waiting until tomorrow to watch Hubris. Thank’s everyone for discussing and tweeting. Plan on reading the book.
we watched it online after dinner. glad i’d had a glass of wine–it will affect your blood pressure! i checked for the book on our library’s website, and found it was published in 2006! i honestly don’t remember it’s making a splash in the media at the time. if msnbc/rachel hadn’t created this televised documentary, i think it would have been one of those books that fades from view–so many political books, so little time. so the program is a real public service, bringing back to consciousness what was so painful, and so gratefully left behind. i’m also reminded of how often we excoriate journalists here (for excellent reason)–but david corn deserves our praise and respect for the hard and necessary work he continues to do.
Yes, he does. I thought it was more recent. And Game Change got an HBO movie and won an Emmy? I really, really, do not like Mark Helprin. He called PBO a dick on Mornin Joe. Suspended for a week. A whole week. Grrrr.
Ran across this great piece from Vinx, acapella singer & percussionist (I’ve been a fan from way back)
VINX – Tribute to President Barack Obama – Live in Chicago !
A little more from Vinx
This is his cover of Van Morrison’s classic, Moondance, like you’ve never heard it
loved this, dudette! thanks so much!
very nice, chelsea, but i’m not thanking any of the rethug presidents after ike. their ‘service’ was a disservice. maybe watch the ‘hubris’ program, then revise this tweet.
It annoys me when it always “Barack Obama” Not pres Obama or Pres Barack Obama. I hate it when they do it…..including Joy Ann Reid. She does it so much that I am so disgusted with her now. She knows better. She has talked about the disrespect that this POTUS gets. What does she think she is doing when she appears on HardBall saying always: “Barack Obama”? Tweety does that too.
Chelsea Clinton Hash-tagged her father with #PresidentClinton?
R E S P E C T as the Queen of Soul Sang many moons again. Those who tweet should remind Joy-Ann Reid.
Anyone still around?
aloha almablanca! i’m just about to get in the bathtub. back shortly 🙂
Aloha to you too. Been too busy at work lately to have much chat time. If I were there my bathtub would be the ocean.
🙂 must be honest–ocean today was an angry froth, with high winds and rain to keep it interesting. but yes, so lovely to bathe in the warm sea, soon i hope!
That would be my kind of ocean. A conversation with angry Neptune is enough to say goodbye to all the stresses.
Those wanting more on the part the media played during the Iraq war is Never gonna air on MSNBC. Tweety had Donahue fired for he was then the top rated show on MSNBC….however, he was against the War in Iraq….and his shows reflected as such. Tweety was on one of Donahue’s show and severely trashed him….almost calling him part of the left that talked down on America and hated America. He called him a Blame America crowd. Now yesterday……Tweety was saying that the Iraq war was the worst decision ever made by GW Bush? They think that we are stupid. Or that we have faulty memories. Shame on Tweety. Up until in 2008, he hated the Clintons. He had to apologize once for his crude remarks about Hillary Clinton. He started changing his tone a year or two later.
VC and her post about Tweety was 1001% correct. I remember those years. Tweety also was bragging that Women would love the flight suit GW Bush was wearing for it showed him as well packaged (my word). Today he pretends like he never said those things.
OK back to why Dr. Maddow would never talk about the part the media played. That would mean exposing his Colleagues. Their contract forbids such take down. I don’t see how Rachel Maddow could be able to call out other media folks and ignoring the vital part, NBC, MSNBC and individual Hosts played during those years.
true. expecting the media to report on themselves is like expecting wall street to punish their own abuses of power. but i’m thinking maybe david corn has his head above the fray. he’s served the nation well exposing the 47% tape, and co-authoring ‘hubris’.
I have not Read Hubris. I am sure that David Corn talked about the media…..Judy Miller. Now another information here. Tweety was cheering her on then….when she was jailed. He reported on her many times, even visited her in Jail. She was one of his friends…..Then.
David Corn would pick on those he doesn’t like and would leave Tweety and his friends alone. The Rolling Stone would be the magazine that would Name them all.
somebody linked to the stone article upthread, but i haven’t read it yet. you’re right, it has to be a journalists working outside traditional news media.
I will be calling TRMS to encourage Rachel Maddow to do another version of the Role the media played in marching our nation to a War in Iraq. Perhaps, if she gets enough encouragement, she just might have the GUTS to dive into it. Though MSNBC might not allow her to do that part. I know that there are contract issues about trashing other Fellow hosts.
3 days in a roll, getting up at odd hours. I hope this ends today, at least, for a while.
GM Morning All.
I will go back to bed now and hope to be up when Rise and Shine is posted by our Lovely Chips.
Good morning Nena. I am looking forward to getting to bed real soon. I am also waiting for the everyone is back to work ‘Rise and Shine.’ (Congress excluded of course)
Ann Lowery….Ezra Klein’s wifey is going to be on Washington Journal today.. I think the 8 AM slot…..I cannot remember what the subject is but I think it might be the sequestration……..
The Hubris documentary highlighted or confirmed several things to me:
The Bush administration was planning to invade Iraq almost from the start of his presidency. They were looking for something to sell this and 9/11 basically gave them an opening.
The intel they received DID NOT support invading Iraq; therefore they piecemealed info, included portions (e.g., the cyliders), excluded other info (…were to thick to be used for weapons), fabricated sorces, and used people who would otherwise be considered credible to sell the story.
The media, by admittedly not doing their job, helped to sell this war.
Congrssional members were more concerned about their political careers than about doing what was right. They didn’t ask the questions they should have asked. They did not want to be perceived as being unpatriotic.
While they were busy planning their war, they ignored the intel that indicated the attacks on U.S. soil. Thousands of lives were lost. Thousands more military personnel and contract workers lost their lives. That doesn’t even get into the Iraqi civilians who were slaughterd.
THEY ARE NOT SORRY. Yet Congress does not think it necessary to get to the bottom of this. Instead, they are stuck on Benghazi and making a big deal about a presentation on the Sunday talk shows. The media STILL is not doing its job and not asking the tough questions. Now they are helping to sell the notion that there is a cover-up.
I agree that there should be follow-up presentations to last night’s show. I’m surprised last night’s show was only an hour.
It’s because once nearly all the democrats were on board, including Msnbc btw, then Bush had them.
Because, then you would have to being them to court too.
A bi partisan fuck up…, Tge scariest thing is how they sold it, fear mongering.
And they have been fear mongering ever since, it’s how The Tea baggers won in 2010.
But there are the ones who orchestrated this war. Yes, there are those who, though they should have been immune, were manipulated and contributed to the outcome. But the ones who were waving the baton should be held accountable.
From wiki 21 democrats, 1 republican and 1 independent senators voted against the resolution on war with Iraq. The other 77 voted to support the war – which proves a modification to the old saying to get – you can fool some of the congress most of the time. How many of that 77 have publicly admitted their error?
Like opposing gun control, it seems supporting war is a prerequisite to re-election and that always seems to be of more concern to congress members than anything else in their political life.
But from the documentary there were also people in the administration who listened in shock – knowing what they were hearing was untrue. It is still impossible to be a whistle blower. Does the media have any interest in such people from republican administrations?
And for an outsider – are there really FIFTEEN organizations related to security/safety/spying or whatever in the US? I’ve always assumed the FBI and the CIA – that’s TWO.
Erin Burnett is doing a whole segment tonight, showing guns for Women.
Pink guns, nonetheless…
These so called Ladies, will be at a firing range shooting their Pink ass guns!
I just don’t know anymore.
See that marketing ploy? Pink guns for women! There’s a wingnut legislature here in AZ with one…I forgot her name…anyway, Iread not too long ago that one of those pink guns got picked up by a toddler because it was “pretty”…..not good outcome.
and would look like a toy—-maybe in the Barbie collection—-pretty in pink.
Idiocy—-and no responsibility shown by media who highlight this stupidity.
Absolutely, dotster..that was my point exactly. It never ends well. What’s next, neon? And since David Keene says “guns are cool”…maybe tie died, a Spring line with pastels, they already have camo….guns are NOT toys, but they’ll do whatever to gin up the fear factor and grab some more idiots that can’t think for themselves.
Nathkatun7, I agree that your open letter is Excellent and on point.
Send it!!! 🙂
On the Today Show I just learned that Mark Sanford will save us, save our “civilization”, as only he can do if he re-enters politics and wins the S.C. election. So—gee—fingers crossed then—-for the Appalachian Trail guy and our civilization.
Morning!
http://theobamadiary.com/2013/02/19/rise-and-shine-434/
Really people, if you’re going to have a corporate social media team, make sure they know a little something about what’s going in the MEDIA! Sheesh, Sprint, what are your people drinking!
OMG – Oscaring?!
Truly, Pistorius is the NRA’s kinda guy: “….. The paper also reported that aside from the weapon used to kill Steenkamp, Pistorius had pending licence applications for seven other guns, including .223 semi-automatic — the same type of weapon used to kill 20 children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in the United States in December.”
