I like Douglas Brinkley the presidential historian comments on the big paragraph climate change received today. Brinkley is a big fan of POTUS – I just read his 800 page book on Teddy Roosevelt which was fascinating.

Also just heard a lady republican caller just now on C-span who said that watching the President interact with his wife and kids today softened her up towards the president…
Caller said if the president can be that loved by his wife and kids, then he couldn’t be that bad…
It was a wow moment for me and pretty much summed up the potency of their love…
It melted the hardened heart of a republican woman who just happened to have caught a bit of them today…

I am actually starting to believe that Joe Biden could become our next President. I think people are beginning to realize what an excellent choice PBO made by picking Joe. They get along so well. Joe is loyal to his boss and PBO relies on Joe. People are seeing that Joe has the qualities needed for CIC. Maybe he could pick Elizabeth Warren for his VP. I know dream on!

Well, I think I finally caught up with all the posts. Started out the day at Panini’s in Marina del Rey to watch the inauguration with teamies from the campaign. TOD has been keeping me sane for a long time now, and today was just the icing on the cake. Thank you. You are the best!!!

We just got back a little while ago from the DC streets, after a day of walking, crowding, more walking – and witnessing a truly historic event. How wonderful!! When the President turned around to see the crowd one last time, it brought tears to my eyes. Will try and post tomorrow when I’ve caught up on sleep and my feet feel semi-normal. Just wanted to put my two cents into how incredible this day was – witnessing history!
