Oh my we really are in a parallel universe. I decided to finalize my decision this week. so yesterday I went to the very last cabinet company for comparisons. Well, I get home and the plumber calls to say that he blew the transmission in his truck, but never fear, he says, ‘I’m still thinking about you’. I’m thinking, ‘Yeah, I just bet you are. To the tune of a new transmission”. I’ve narrowed it down between two cabinet lines. I’m going with the best deal and warranty. I’ve picked out the appliances and those will be my splurge items to reward myself for having to go through this entire ordeal.
Splurge away. The economy will thank you. 😆 So, I’ll know that your changes are almost done by measuring them against my progress here. 😉 *I* have decided to leave my kitchen alone till spring, unless of course it falls apart before then. In the meantime, I’m leaning towards refinishing the cabinets and just modernizing the counter tops. That’s it on renovations, I guess. These other poor souls here are probably rolling their eyes each time we get going. ‘S-okay guys, we’ll stop. 😆

Louis Giglio, the anti-LGBT pastor who had been announced to perform the benediction at President Obama’s second inauguration, has been removed from the program, ABC News’s Jonathan Karl reported Thursday.
The move came after ThinkProgress reported Wednesday that in the 1990s, Giglio had given a lengthy sermon in which he advocated for dangerous “ex-gay” therapy for gay and lesbian people, referenced a biblical passage often interpreted to require gay people be executed, and impelled Christians to “firmly respond to the aggressive agenda” and prevent the “homosexual lifestyle” from becoming accepted in society.
Media since Jan 20, 2009 is that pres Obama must be publicly flogged, castigated, humiliated……or if praise must be given….then Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Chris Christie…..everyone, but the president or they are taking sides. No. They are being biased. That is it.

Women have been accused of this since the beginning of time. There are very qualified women working for this administration. They are the most qualified for the position they hold. It’s always frustrating for we childhood cancer families to see the WH in pink in October and September went by yet another year and there was no visibility about childhood cancer. KIDS GET CANCER TOO…….and when they do, the entire family, in a sense, has cancer. Somehow, it is different as far as the family effect when it’s a child in treatment as opposed to a parent.
Bill, my sympathies to you and your family. Maybe, together, we can come up w/a plan to get/find a GOOD contact to the WH and make this happen this September. Please let me know if you have any ideas. God bless!

FLASHBACK: This is one of my all time favorite smack downs (I just can’t get enough). Back in October 2009, Max Blumenthal appeared on Morning Joe and dispensed a bit of truth about Republican Party obstruction. The stammering and bluster coming from Joe Scarborough is priceless. And wishy washy Mika does not disappoint. She practically disappears during the interview. Her best comment is at the end of the segment when she says (paraphrasing): Well Max, I think we’ll leave it there. We can revisit this conversation again when we don’t overlay so much. Hilarious…….
Bottom line, Max makes it plain – President Obama thought he would be allowed to govern when he took office and the Republican Party said NO. The last thing the GOP wants is for the American people to see how smart and efficient government can have a positive impact on their lives.
I remember this when it occurred. Joe said he had not supported the 2009 stimulus bill because it lacked tax cuts, yet the bill was 42% tax cuts. This is a prime example of Joe running his mouth to support his postion with no factual reality. Much coming from him is nonsense and adding lies to the conversation. His show is not only a waste of time but detrimental to public understanding.

OT- On another note, the little girl from the movie, Beasts of the Southern Wild (one of president Obama favorite film in 2012) has just been nominated for a best actress Oscar. Her name is Quvenzhane Wallis, and she is the youngest best actress nominee in history at the young age of 9 years old. Lincoln led all movies with 12 nominations, followed closely by Life of Pi with 11 nominations.
We were not aware of Pastor Giglio’s past comments at the time of his selection and they don’t reflect our desire to celebrate the strength and diversity of our country at this Inaugural. I think people falsely believe that the President personally chooses everyone who participates in the inauguration, they forget there is a Congressional committee made up of both dems and reps, and the committee is ultimately responsible. I am glad they put out that statement.

I just received great news. I had entered the lottery with my two senators to get tickets to the inauguration. I received an e-mail from the senator that I worked extensively to get elected that I was not picked. I had not heard from the other one. I had totally given up hope. Yesterday I got an e-mail from the second senator saying that I will get two tickets!!!! Guess who will be working on that senators re-election!
Now, as far as I know there have been no serious plans for TODers to meet up. I get to go to Washington because my daughter lives there going to school. I would love to meet up with the rest of the TODers somewhere, someplace, sometime. I do not know the DC area at all. Does someone from there want to take charge. This would be really fun. Louis Giglio, the anti-LGBT pastor who had been announced to perform the benediction at President Obama’s second inauguration, has been removed from the program, ABC News’s Jonathan Karl reported Thursday.
The move came after ThinkProgress reported Wednesday that in the 1990s, Giglio had given a lengthy sermon in which he advocated for dangerous “ex-gay” therapy for gay and lesbian people, referenced a biblical passage often interpreted to require gay people be executed, and impelled Christians to “firmly respond to the aggressive agenda” and prevent the “homosexual lifestyle” from becoming accepted in society.

Women have been accused of this since the beginning of time. There are very qualified women working for this administration. They are the most qualified for the position they hold. This is something that they have Never screamed out all day on tv and in print before, But here is the brilliant Bi-racial man who is our President and is sitting in the Oval Office for another four years.

I actually prefer to believe it happened this way, (maybe after a talk with the WH). I don’t exactly like the alternative idea that his invitation was rescinded because of the hoopla. It’s always frustrating for we childhood cancer families to see the WH in pink in October and September went by yet another year and there was no visibility about childhood cancer. KIDS GET CANCER TOO…….and when they do, the entire family, in a sense, has cancer. Somehow, it is different as far as the family effect when it’s a child in treatment as opposed to a parent.
As a parent who last lost a child to cancer. let me proclaim my Amen to this!

Back in October 2009, Max Blumenthal appeared on Morning Joe and dispensed a bit of truth about Republican Party obstruction. The stammering and bluster coming from Joe Scarborough is priceless. And wishy washy Mika does not disappoint. She practically disappears during the interview. Her best comment is at the end of the segment when she says (paraphrasing): Well Max, I think we’ll leave it there. We can revisit this conversation again when we don’t overlay so much. Hilarious…….
Bottom line, Max makes it plain – President Obama thought he would be allowed to govern when he took office and the Republican Party said NO. The last thing the GOP wants is for the American people to see how smart and efficient government can have a positive impact on their lives.

I remember this when it occurred. Joe said he had not supported the 2009 stimulus bill because it lacked tax cuts, yet the bill was 42% tax cuts. This is a prime example of Joe running his mouth to support his postion with no factual reality. Much coming from him is nonsense and adding lies to the conversation. His show is not only a waste of time but detrimental to public understanding.
Joe is a blow hole. If you’ve ever been close to a breaching pod of whales you’ll know how foul that is. 😦

OT- On another note, the little girl from the movie, Beasts of the Southern Wild (one of president Obama favorite film in 2012) has just been nominated for a best actress Oscar. Her name is Quvenzhane Wallis, and she is the youngest best actress nominee in history at the young age of 9 years old. Lincoln led all movies with 12 nominations, followed closely by Life of Pi with 11 nominations.
This was a great movie! I highly recommend it! I am so thrilled for little Miss Wallis!

We were not aware of Pastor Giglio’s past comments at the time of his selection and they don’t reflect our desire to celebrate the strength and diversity of our country at this Inaugural. I think people falsely believe that the President personally chooses everyone who participates in the inauguration, they forget there is a Congressional committee made up of both dems and reps, and the committee is ultimately responsible. I am glad they put out that statement.
Especially after the smarmy comment made by Giglio:

I just received great news. I had entered the lottery with my two senators to get tickets to the inauguration. I received an e-mail from the senator that I worked extensively to get elected that I was not picked. I had not heard from the other one. I had totally given up hope. Yesterday I got an e-mail from the second senator saying that I will get two tickets!!!! Guess who will be working on that senators re-election!
Now, as far as I know there have been no serious plans for TODers to meet up. I get to go to Washington because my daughter lives there going to school. I would love to meet up with the rest of the TODers somewhere, someplace, sometime. I do not know the DC area at all. Does someone from there want to take charge. This would be really fun. Maybe we could do some kind of on-line connection for the people who won’t be there too. Anyone have some ideas?
