    1. What is the reconsideration? As in ā€˜ why is it so quiet now? Are they finished voting? They seem to be just milling around? Is it official that the House agreed with the Senate bill?

This second term, hopefully people will take the president as serious. He is open, honest, hardworking, and caring. He is not slack in his promise; and he is responsible. He can’t control the vile, evil ugly people who want to see him fail, but he does control his word, and he keeps his word. We will not see another president, in most of our lifetime like this brilliant man. He is one of a kind, and I pray that we will stand with him all of the way.HZ

Yes, because the white guy has to be the “winner.” But we know and Biden knows and the President knows who’s calling the plays. Biden is a great dealmaker but he works at the pleasure of PBO.
One of the reasons I admire PBO so much is that even when treated with disrespect, he maintains his calm and then turns these fools’ disrespect against them. Mittens learned to his sorrow that underestimating PBO is a losing strategy. Now these smug bastards in congress have had their asses handed to them by the guy thay’ve been insulting.

Now they got a job and moved back to Missouri, our renter says he is posting on FB about how awlful this President is and how he would never live on the government. Well he lived off of us for 6 months and we never even got a thank you. I am ready to let it go but our renter is so mad. This really tells me that the tea partiers have no soul!

These barely hidden “racists” always have to come out and glorify somebody else when they don’t want to give kudos to PBO for outsmarting them. Now Luke Russert and those other idiots on MSNBC saying how the rethugs said they loved dealing with “The Biden”. They don’t know that “The Biden” was unleashed by the master chess player PBO. Idiots will never learn but hey they just can’t bring themselves to give props to the Black Guy who is their POTUS for being smarter than all of them.

Exactly. And he is a good, good man. To the core. Racists be damned.

We know the President studies Abraham Lincoln. Here’s a quote attributed to our 16th President: “I do the very best I know how, the very best I can; and mean to keep doing so until the end. If the end brings me out all right, what is said against me won’t amount to anything. If the end brings me out wrong, ten angels swearing I was right would make no difference.”

World4Obama what these people don’t understand, is POTUS doesn’t care who gets the credit as long as the job get done. It’s like POTUS is the captain of the ship, and some of the passengers is drowning, and someone else jumps in and save their lives, well POTUS wouldn’t care who jump in as long as the lives were saved. These idiots have always under estimated POTUS.

POB is a solid decent man. As long as he knows in his heart that he is doing the right thing, he is fine. Hell yes, it hurts those of us who care how people like President Obama is constantly being treated, but deep within my soul, I know he will be fine.

The vast number of people who are good and decent, are always lifting POB up with prayers of goodness daily. His steps are ordered by his faith, and believe me he lives his faith. We just need to keep our prayers and meditations of goodness going forth for him, and surely goodness and mercy will follow him on this journey.

Prayer is one thing, I know for sure that sustains him. We who worked so hard for his re-election also sustains him daily. He loves the people, and he will not see something that is wrong and not try to right it. I am trusting in God’s power to strengten him daily and give him wisdom in all that he has to do while he is our president.

Good night Chips and my TOD family, and say a word of encouragement, appreciation, or prayer for God’s grace and mercy to be with our president and his family.. I love you all so much. HZ

So stop the crap about POB Not being able to work with the Repukes. They take their orders from President Barack Obama.

I’ve been watching online & have come to a few conclusions

Halperin looking really silly on MJ – with a stupid grin – it was all done by Mitch McConnell!!! – no mention of Palin & Co
Joe is blaming Harry Reid for “government by deadline” hahahahaha – Joe also has NO idea about budgets and economics – none – hope he eventually goes bankrupt cause that’s where his ideas will lead him
Some dimwit thinks the GOP now has the upper-hand on those “entitlements” – still want the poor & disadvantaged to suffer

      Conclusion
This is all still a game according to the pundits – the people of the US are irrelevant to these games. I believe they credit “both sides” of politics with games that do not exist. President Obama wants to implement the policies he campaigned on, the Republicans want to bring down the President and the democrats are split between following the President’s lead and wanting a much lefter agenda.
If the pundits went away – maybe a compromise would be possible.

    • January 2, 2013 at 6:51 am

        January 2, 2013 at 8:16 am

But Paul Ryan has a budget – it’s wonderful – in the words of MJ – but every economist known to man & woman ripped it to shreds – as did the voters. Failed VP candidates should just fade away – not keep pretending they are relevant. I think Paul Ryan has an idea that he might have some problems being re-elected in 2014 – which is probably why he voted for the legislation last night.

The notion that we have to cut Social security and Medicare, in order to balance the books and then hold the debt ceiling hostage is nefarious.
The Republicans have set themselves up, and by proxy Democrats who allowed it to happen, to cut spending. Then, along comes this stupid recession that the Banks caused and it assists their argument of debt to GDP ratio.
But, they contributed to the debt when they are in power, because they cannot govern. They cannot govern because they hate government, so they cannot be seen as destroying government, as they would cease to exist.
So, they want this Democratic President to what they call LEAD and what is it? Premium accounts for medicare, block grant Medicaid and get rid of social security.
Morning Joe only cares about cutting entitlements as the only issue in America.
It’s a sick, perverted ideology, and a wrong one to have.
