Merry Christmas, dudette9t9. Thanks for all of the lovely music you bring to the TOD family. It lifts my spirit so much.

I also noticed that lovely “sisterly moment” with our First Daughters. The are growing up to be such beautiful young ladies. POB and FLOTUS have to be so happy and proud of all of their efforts to keep them away from the MSM and still surround them with great friends and their cousins and other family members.

I am so elated to be alive and seeing all of this take place in my lifetime. What an honor and a blessing.

Let us have a beautiful time here with our Chips and, let it continue to snow in TOD Town!!! I love it.HZ

That’s the lot of men. Seven floors of wimmin merchandise and just half a floor for men. The other half is usually the toilet.

That is payback for the fact that there are always seven long lines of wimmin going to the women’s room for every man who just walks in and out of the men’s room!

Attending a wedding for the first time, Little Susie whispered to her mother, “Why is the bride dressed in white?”

“Because white is the color of happiness, and today is the happiest day of her life.”

Little Susie thought about this for a moment, then said “So why is the groom wearing blackS?”

        See what I mean?

Great stuff. Jingle Bells all the way. Don’t forget ‘Scandal’ tonight folks. It is supposed to be ‘da bomb’.

Saw the whole show online. Some one posted a very poor photograph of the First Family with not to happy faces. The show was great.

Watching ‘Scandal’ on the westcoast. I took a nap during the day so that I might be able to stay up and watch it tonight. Just told a westcoast friend yesterday about the show. Hope he will be watching as well.

Loving the weather out here. Overcast morning and quiet cool evening. Just enough in the air to light the candles and enjoy the Christmas music. Is it too early for eggnog? Well, I love that stuff, but the gut is not fond of it at all. I will be good because my gut is coming around to my level of comfort. So I will be a good girl. However, I am waiting for the mincemeat pie to arrive with the rum sauce. Miss my precious mother’s Fruitcake for sure and Poundcake. HZ

      • December 6, 2012 at 8:26 pm

((((((HZ)))))) SoCal is finally having some winter weather, to wear our coats, scarves, and hats that we get for christmas but only wear when we travel to a cold state like MN, OR, or WA. You sound like you are having a wonderful evening, wish I could join you. It’s better to be safe than sorry HZ to go easy on the eggnog…..do you know they have SOY eggnog if it’s the milk that disagrees with your gut. Be good we need you to stay well sweetie.

JoJo, thanks so much. You are another very special angel to me. I love the scarves, hats and gloves person. I am enjoying my evening. Candles are on, and I am enjoying learning how to use my new iPhone that my dear brother gave me as one of my birthday gifts. It is nice. I am trying to keep up with the new tech stuff so that I can keep up with my beautiful TOD family. My brother loves the fact that his sis is still keeping up with the new tech goodies. He loves our TOD family and what we are doing for POB as well as for each other.

I love some of the goodies that comes with the season. Yes, I can’t tolerate the milk products. I only drink the Soy Drink. Trader Joe’s has a nice one that I use. I will have to check out what is available at Sprouts and Whole Foods as well. I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Eggnog. However, I am having such great results with the new pills that my brother got for me while he was visiting me, and it is really helping with my digestion. So I will get the Soy Egg Nog for sure. ((((((( Thanks so much, JOJO)))))))))

I wish that you could join me as well. I will meet my Westcoast TOD Family one day soon. I know we will

Former Governor Mark Sanford is thinking about running to replace DeMint in 2014. Lindsey Graham is also up for reelection in 2014 and may be primaried. SC is going to be wild in 2014.

To Sanford, I’d say: Proceed, (former) Governor. Who would take him back? (Oh, never mind.)

I don’t even like to admit that Lindsey Graham exists, so I won’t comment on him.

When I was younger I hated going to weddings. It seemed that all of my aunts and the grandmotherly types used to come up to me, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, ‘You’re next.’

They stopped that shit after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Hello everyone…have not been on for a while. Busy with life as it was IGNORED during the elections! Have a great day/night!

    AND for AMK…

There was one nurse that just drove Joe crazy.
Every time she came in, she would talk to him like he was a little child.
She would say in a patronizing tone of voice,
“And how are we doing this morning?”

Or “Are we ready for a bath?”
    Or “Are we hungry?”
Old Joe had had enough of this particular nurse.
So, one day, at breakfast, Old Joe took the apple juice off the tray and put it in his bed side stand.
Next, he was given a urine bottle to fill for testing.
So you know where the juice went!

The nurse came in a little later, picked up the urine bottle and looked at it.
‘My, it seems we are a little cloudy today.’
At this, Old Joe snatched the bottle out of her hand, popped off the top, and drank it down, saying,
“Well, I’ll run it through again. Maybe I can filter it better this time.”
    The nurse fainted.
    Old Joe just smiled.

I am so glad we have a President who cares – especially after a day like today in Michigan. It’s a shame how few of our politicians in Michigan have the character and integrity of our President.

For all us “Scandal” fans, Shonda Rhimes, the creator of the series, Kerry Washington and the woman who the Olivia Pope character is based on (whose name is escaping me at the moment) will be on Oprah’s Next Chapter on OWN the Sunday @ 8:00pm. I have a Christmas party to attend, so I will be TVOing it.

Me too … I love that she will wear things more than once; that she wears converse, that she wears flats (I now have several dressy casual pairs of flats thanks to her: cute ones too); I love that she is at once fashionable but practical.

I was recently riding with a friend of mine.

We were coming to a red light, and he shoots right through it. I ask him, “Why’d you do that?” He tells me this is how his brother drives.

We come to another red light, and again, he shoots right through it. I ask him, “Why’d you do that?” Again, he tells me this is how his brother drives.

We come to a green light, and he slams on the brakes. My heart nearly goes into my throat. I shouted at him, “Why do you do that?!”

He replied, “You never know, my brother could be coming the other way.”
