Thankyew, thankyew, thankyew 🙂
[I bow, I wave… I bow, I wave!]
Aiirite now. Don’t get to full o’ yosef!
Too late! Mama tried! Can’t do a thing with me.
I’m gonna leave THAT alone! 😀
Dudette!!
Awwww… thank you Chips! What a little sweetie pie!
Me or the little boy?
Both, now that you mention it! 😀
😎
😆
This is one of my all time favorites! Congrats my little D.J!
Thanks D!

One of my favorite photos!
Mine too Joan, iconic!
Congrats dudette!!!!
Thanks Bob!
Going for 2.
Squeaked in past ya Sailor. Ladies first! 🙂
LOL
What? NO WAY? 😀
Way to go 🙂
Thank ya! 🙂
This is such a sad story.
Truly it is, theo. Unimaginable horror.
That was the word I thought too — what a horror.
Two children were swept away in the storm? WOW. I can’t even imagine. WOW….
I know, right?
So sad. Words can’t express.
Yes, I heard that she had managed to escape from the flooding car and was running from door to door, begging for help to get her kids out, but the car was swept away. How horrific!
hey Isonnnnnn….
hey, Prettyfoot!! I think I’m finally somewhat recovered from the experience of a lifetime. So glad that Pres. Obama WON! I can’t even comprehend what it must feel like to work that hard and lose.
Hey everyone 🙂
Hia Berny!
I’m glad President Obama is in Office, and know he will look at all sides of the problem and use his global alliances to try and resolve this Israel conflict. Personally, I think Netanyahu is a warmonger and a liar. His heavy handed aggressive actions on the Palestinians is despicable. Most people outside Israel and US do not trust him and hope he and his cohorts will be voted out.
I with you on that Berny!
“I’m with you…”
One of these days I’ll learn to read b4 posting!
Just heartbreaking!
Hay Mitt Romney here is another reason why we voted for President Obama, it had nothing to do with any gifts he gave to us. You Mitt or any of your hateful Republicans will never get it. We see a man in our President who has a caring a heart. Who truly care about people.
How terrible for that family losing their two little sons. I know when POTUS went home tonight he hug Malia and Sasha a little tighter.
Bobby Jindal wants to be President. This is what his state thinks should be taught to children in schools.
PBO is definitely a ‘Stand-up Guy’!
God I love that man!
OMG, Chips… Can’t imagine the grief… But Obama embraces it. WTF is all the rest of the crap about, one wonders? Romney talking about “gifts”… McCain missing a security briefing… Oh, Give me a break.
Thanks to you for all you do…
Gato
Thank you Gato, you’re so right – what is all the other crap about?
This cheers me up – I have to remember to watch this tonight!
I love this show. And its funny, cause “Leslie Knope” has a crush on VP Biden. Too cute.
…And after the President finished comforting the victims of Hurricane Sandy, he has to go home and deal with the Israeli unfolding military situation. And then tomorrow, he’s got the GOP lackeys coming to the White House to talk their nonsense. How does he do it!?
I don’t know how he does it, but I’m beyond grateful that he does! We are truly blessed to have him leading this country at this time in history.
Indeed.
So agree, dudette. While most of us were wiped out just working on the election ,he had the heaviest burden of all and the most exhausting campaign schedule imaginable AND he also had a 24/7 day job. He didn’t get a moment to catch his breath before all the national/international problems piled on. He has inner resources that are beyond my imagination.
I don’t know how he does it. But he said he plans to get out of DC even more in his second term and meet ordinary people. He said ‘it’s good for my soul”. That tells you everything doesn’t it ?
Yes it does, lp
I’m glad he knows his limits and he’s got a pressure valve and a way to replenish his energy. This is one person who knows how to maintain his equilibrium, that’s for sure. I’ve learned a lot watching him work.
I can’t imagine the nightmare these folks live each day. May their burden be lightened with time. I surely hope they find peace.
Amen!
My heart broke when I heard the story about the little boys being sweptd away. I hope the President brought the parents some comfort and may God give them the strength to carry on.
Now….what sour fruit did Bloomberg have in his mouth? His face is screwed up and his arms folded in every picture while Schumer and Coumo as all smiles.
Honest GGail, the guy seemed to be sucking on a lemon all day 🙄
And it’s so obvious Chipsticks that he really really doesn’t want to be there. He doesn’t like Humble Pie – does he?
Well, that’s just TUFF!!!
Truly! I wished the guy hadn’t bothered turning up, if that’s the way he felt about it. Standing there with his arms crossed? Ignorant twat.
Isn’t crossing your arms the “defense” posture? Like one has something to defend; i.e., guilty conscience over how he treated PBO just after the storm, until it probably seemed politically correct to him to endorse our President for re-election? Good thing Bloomberg is in love with himself, because that’s one in his court.
He oughta choke on the damned humble pie from gut-wrenching GUILT. These people might’ve gotten help sooner if he didn’t turn down FEMA help before the storm. They could’ve had people and materials stationed in place up front, but noooo… Mikey wanted to make a statement & slapped back our President’s hand and said go away, we got this! Fuck that bastard. He doesn’t have the right to stand on the same ground as President Obama.
I forgot some of that, but agree with you 100 percent. Funny how the big things in life bring out the small in people.
That’s why he’s so bitter. He tried to be “super repug” and decline the advance support while Christy welcomed it and now here comes the President to save the day because the natives want Bloomberg’s head on a platter.
I can’t begin to imagine the pain these folks are going through, I can only be thankful that PBO is still our comforter-in-chief. Ms Chips, hope your ankle is loads better in the morning!
The President can give as much of his heart and mind to comforting this one poor family, as he does to global events that impact millions. He’s just a gift. We don’t need any other “gifts.”
Bam!
Boom!
100% agree.
poor myth, he still hasn’t figured out that when you say something out loud it will likely be recorded and repeated. it can now be revealed that (surprise) robmey’s true political beliefs are exactly the opposite of what he said in the last month of the campaign. in fact, in the famous 47% tape, he’s speaking from( what passes in him for) the heart.
‘Another secret recording shows what Romney really thinks about minorities, birth control, and public assistance.’
~
But now we have a second recording. It documents another conversation between Romney and his wealthiest contributors. This conversation isn’t six months, six weeks, or even six days old. It happened yesterday, on a conference call with Romney’s finance committee. The recording bears an uncanny resemblance to the 47 percent video. It strongly suggests that the Romney in the video is the real thing, and the Romney on TV is a fraud.
~
When you read these quotes and listen to the audio, three patterns sink in. First, everything Romney says on the conference call is the opposite of what he said in the debates.
~
Second, the Romney on the call matches the Romney in the 47 percent video. In the same resigned tone, he speaks of scores of millions of Americans hooked on free health care and other benefits. But this time, he itemizes the constituencies and reports that they’ve paid back their benefactor with their votes, just as he predicted.
~
Third, the call belies everything Romney said in his attempts to clean up the 47 percent video.
~
In the Oct. 4 Hannity interview, Romney excused his 47 percent riff as a one-time verbal flub “in a campaign with hundreds if not thousands of speeches and question-and-answer sessions.” On the call, at length, he repeats it.
http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/frame_game/2012/11/romney_gifts_and_the_47_percent_what_he_really_thinks_about_blacks_hispanics.html
He lied to us at the beginning, in the middle and at the end. Only with his elite buddies does he reveal his dark soul. He wanted to be president so he could turn the White House into Versailles and bask in his power. He envied PBO the car, the house and the plane as he revealed in the first debate. He wanted to be King with his Queen at his side, sneering at the people and throwing little bits of bread he if deemed them worthy. Thank God our democracy dodged this poison.
That’s only fair since he has to meet with Sneezy and Dopey and Poopey, etc. too.
Bwahahahaha!!! Please tweet that!!! 🙂
Almost choked on my pretzel m&m’s.
Can’t bring myself to RT that creature Knoller, but did want to thank the President …
And, thank you Melanie, for alerting us to the meeting. The President is leaving zero ambiguity as to his understanding of what happened on 6 Nov 2012.

Love that! Off to R/T it.
WORD!!
BOOM!
Brilliant tweet, Edwina! BRAVO!!!! RT’d and love dudette’s MT of it, as well. What a TOD Twitter Team we have!!!!!
The best tweet of the day!
if Boehner and the rest of the GOP are so concerned about deficits during the recovery, then why are they making an either/or argument between tax cuts and loopholes? We should do BOTH – let the Bush tax cuts on the top 2% expire AND close loopholes. If the GOP think they can eliminate $1 trillion in loopholes, then it will be nearly $2 trillion in deficit reduction if we also let the Bush tax cuts expire. Those people have seen increases in wealth of many hundred percentage points during the life of those Bush tax cuts, while the middle class earnings have stagnated. The rich can afford to help pay down the deficit they created.
They don’t care about the deficit and never did. They care about protecting their rich masters and making trouble for the president. If they actually had a principle they believed in, they might be worth of a little respect, but they have no principles, just tactics of revenge.
Bach Cello Suite No.1 – Prelude (Yo-Yo Ma)
Beautiful.
Excellent!
Beautiful, Beautiful. A favorite of mine. Duddette, you always bring such a lovely variety of some of the great musicians. ((((((((( Love it, and thanks to you)))))))))HZ
Thanks so much HZ
That was one of our daughter, Ethy’s, pieces at her senior concert at our university here. In the end I had it memorized from hearing it — starting often at her practice time, 4:30 in the morning. Her bedroom at the time was directly over ours and the music we could hear through the ceiling was the most comforting I’ve ever experienced. Thank you, dudette.
Hi Joan, thanks for sharing that beautiful comment. What a lovely memory that has to be for you and your husband’s memory bank. Music is one of the most comforting gifts given to us to bring so much comfort, and sweet peace in our lives. Thanks for sharing, Joan. ((((( Hope all is well with you.))))))))HZ
Thanks, HZ. It made me cry because it was a long time ago and she’s far away now.
((((((((((((( Joan, keep the memory very close and dear to your heart, and bring them up as often as you can because it will help you to bottle those lovely tears into your beautiful bottle of lovely fragrances of her. Lots of love coming into your space my dear one. You are such a gentle and loving spirit.)))))HZ
Wow, I’m crying myself now. Sometimes the universe just brings things & people together at just the right time, doesn’t it? Music feeds me in so many ways. It means to the world to me know that sharing it brought you that moment. {{{hugs}}}
Majority of Americans Optimistic About Economic Recovery in Second Obama Term, Poll Finds
// Americans are confident that in his second term President Obama will be able to accomplish a sizable list of achievements, including reducing unemployment, keeping the U.S. safe from terrorism, improving conditions for minorities and the poor, and improving the quality of the environment, according to a newly released poll from the Gallup organization. //

Thank you so much for passing this on…I just ordered my ticket!!!!!!!!:-) 🙂
That was wonderful dudette. We need to take a step back and realize what a great country we live in despite all of its problems. May everyone here have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Let us also not forget the 50th Anniversary of the death of John F. Kennedy.
Thank you Britishmutt! Duly noted and wholeheartedly supported!
So you tryin to impress with your range, eh? I’m impressed, okay? Just wait ’til I get to the basement. 🙂
Tee-hee! Bring it on! I ain’t scared of your basement. I’ve seen some of what ya got. Not bad, not bad at all! 🙂
We’ll see what’s not too dusty or warped. 😀
Okay, this has gotta be serendipity at work… in YouTube’s recommended list of videos right beside the above Morricone piece, there was this gem from 2008:
Obama Leaves McCain Dumbstruck 😀
Barack Obama and John McCain at Third Presidential Debate, October 15, 2008
BURN. I can’t believe we are still having to deal with the disgusting bitterness of this failure of a Senator. Seriously, what has he ever done to garner the attention he gets 24/7? He’s a HAS BEEN racist demagogue.
So happy that Romney is not a congressman. McCain is horrendous; what an idiot to think that he will EVER outsmart Barack Obama.
That be you WALMART!

This morning Soledad O’Brien handles Rep Joe Heck(R) Nevada who tries to immolate McDumdum and Little Linsey on the Susan Rice and her Benghazi attack response. He gets himself all tied up in knots, but still tries to make sense. Soledad gets so confused she turns to Charles Blow, New York Times columnist. The poor Rep Heck sticks to his guns, and leaves worse off than when he started. I do enjoy this:
Thanks for spelling it out, because, Heck, I just can’t watch any of those Repugs yet.
cookermom, congressman is full of Bull Shit just like senile bitter old man John McCain and little Lindsey Graham
Trying to take his pants off but can’t remember which leg first. Pitiful !
Ain’t it so, sailor!!!!
BTW, hope you saw my comment on that spectacular “get a clue GOP strategists” link you shared with us earlier today. I hope everyone at TOD read what you provided us!! Thank you.
#TrustBarack
i saw that Lootenant and thanks. Just trying to make a meaningful contribution to ships stores.
Well, sailor, you are doing admirably!
Aye, aye.
Love it. Looks like some of her first “baby steps” are gonna be doozies. And if she’s talking filibuster, she no doubt has Harry Reid’s go-ahead on her inputs.
Yep yep! 🙂
Oh, yes, you know Senator Reid is delighted out of his mind to have this CHAMPION on his team!!!!!!
Oooo, forus! Thank for all this juicy goodness!!!
You’re welcome. I just started following this guy and he is so informative on his tweets. The way I wish Nate Silver had been through the election season instead of his tortured writing on his NYT blog and tweets.
If enough Republicans break free, then they will all be free to regroup out from under the tea party umbrella. A very hopeful sign!
Cantor is losing a lot of his cray cray followers. Which is a good time to share this photo. hee hee

https://twitter.com/i/#!/FORUS50/media/slideshow?url=http%3A%2F%2Ftwitpic.com%2F6idvv7
I saw this picture once before. It’s goofy, but quite carefree. It’s a surprise that a kid that seemed so goofy and uncomplicated could turn into such a doofus and heartless SOB like Cantor is today.
Yeah, I think everyone has some cringe-worthy teenage photos.
It’s just that most people grow up to be better people.
Thank you forus. It is obvious that Republicans in the House recognize that to survive they’ve got to begin rebuilding their brand and step one must be ditching the fanatics. It will surprise me NOT in any way if Boehner is not doing everything he can to bring as many as possible away from Cantor, Ryan and the teahadists.
All the dems need is to flip about 20 repubs on the fiscal thing. Hope Pelosi is talking to some of the convertibles.
Thanks, forus50, for sharing the good news. My friends in CA52 are all exited about Scott Peters. This is a district Democrats have been coming close to winning in the last three to four elections. May be we will do it this time. There may be a recount though.
Some footage today.
Thank you Video Queen!
By Sam Baker and Elise Viebeck
In a concession to Republican governors, the Obama administration extended the Friday deadline for states to decide whether they’ll implement their own insurance exchanges. In a letter to governors on the eve of the deadline, HHS gave states an extra month to file letters of intent on their exchanges.
By The Hill’s count, eight states were undecided before the letter was released Thursday evening — Arizona, Idaho, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin. The extra time could help coax some of those states into creating their own exchanges, rather than leaving the task up to the federal government.
Dec. 15 is the new deadline for states that want to run their own exchanges to make that intention known. States that don’t go that route will have until Feb. 14 to decide whether to work in partnership with the federal government or cede their exchange entirely to Washington.

Surprising
Time to pout! 😦
I thought he was a Team
Player and a dem leader?
Well, don’t forget, the media was speculating based on zero information. There aren’t very many people who will sign up for the abuse being dished out in Washington (case in point: highly qualified Ambassador Susan Rice), and I don’t blame Deval Patrick for simply stating his plans. I don’t believe he’s backing out of any concrete plan – the only thing we were all going on was nonsense from the media surmising things out of thin air.
He may be gearing up for a 2016 presidential run, rumor has it here in Massachusetts. He may want a clear schedule to focus on that.
That makes sense. How fantastic would it be to have 16 years with an African American Dem president?!
Exactly, theo. He’s done a remarkable job for the citizens of MA and he has a family. Not everyone can sustain life-long public service. He has never been ambiguous about his support of the President. We should honor all he has contributed and I’m sure that is what the President and First Lady did when they hosted them for a private dinner last Friday night.
#TrustBarack
Yup – he’s done a fantastic job cleaning up Romney’s mess, and whatever he chooses to do next will be to the benefit of anyone who gets him.
He’s a human being with a family.
He also needs to beef up his bank account. It costs a lot of money to run for office thanks to Citizens United.
Good point! A silver lining!
He can do whatever he wants with his life. He’s done a lot of good and he doesn’t have to stay in the ugly court of politics all his life.
Court?… Did someone say court? How about Supreme Court?!!
Dudette . . . . xoxoxox . . . you are awesome. xoxo
and YES to being appreciative of Deval Patrick as a contribution to our country.
what if we actually had fabulous leadership . . . . well . . . for a loooong, loong, time.
and let the peoples ” [and work] sing for a loonnng, looooooong time.” Forward!
Did anyone know about Sonia Sotomayor before President Obama brought her to the spotlight? We just don’t know whether President Obama has a “binder full” of very qualified people that he’s considering. All we have is a political witch hunt and media speculation around Ambassador Susan Rice and Senator Kerry. There could be a ton of people just perfect for the roles that President Obama has to fill – the media is not privy to that planning, and neither are the GOP.
Noooooooo! we need another good democrat to take over for Kerry then, but who?
Couple of young Kennedy’s come to mind ….
You mean in Massachusetts? No shortage of good Dems here! 🙂
Rep. Capuano has been mentioned for Senator–he was in the primary a couple of years ago but lost to Martha Coakley (who went on to lose to Scott Brown).
McCain is just grilling everybody-
http://mobile.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSBRE8AE1YC20121115?irpc=932
He is so rude.
Not NEARLY enough — not even close!
This picture needs to be included in the Macy’s Dump Trump petition….complete with New York City pigeon poop.

http://www.politicususa.com/post-election-romney-bain-face-federal-corruption-perjury-hearing.html
t is absolutely true that Romney was looking forward to cutting his own tax liability to zero, privatizing the federal government, handing the Social Security Trust to Wall Street, and waging perpetual war, but with a plethora of investigations and allegations of corruption into his finances on the horizon, appointing a friendly Attorney General was certainly a primary reason for seeking the presidency. To date, Romney’s legal troubles include fallacious FEC and SEC disclosures, an investigation into him and his son’s connection to an $8.5 billion Ponzi scheme, and concealing over $15 million from the auto-bailout, and now his surrogate’s malfeasance and perjury in the eToys bankruptcy case.
Exactly ten days ago, this column reported on a Delaware bankruptcy court’s failure to enter an Emergency Motion into the public docket that included Bain Capital and Romney operative’s perjury and corruption in the eToys bankruptcy case. At the time it appeared the judge was protecting Romney and Bain Capital by suppressing the Motion in expectation he would win the election and have the Motion tossed out of court leading to the question; “is Romney’s main impetus for seeking the White House to appoint an Attorney General who will guarantee that all charges against him will go away?” Well now that he lost the election, it appears the allegation had merit because on November 7, the day after his crushing defeat, the Delaware bankruptcy court judge entered the motion into the public docket and scheduled a hearing for December 4, 2012; all on the same day.
Could be that karma thing again:)
The ultimate schadenfreude – this tax cheat’s tax-con game ends and he ends up behind bars.
MY wish! 🙂
warrior:)
several of us have speculated here that robmey must not be too bright, to expose his dodgy finances to the scrutiny that comes with public office. we wondered why he wanted to be president anyway–so here’s the answer.
I actually took a mental health day today and went to an arts and craft fair with my good friend. I make it a rule every Christmas to either buy all of my gifts from actual people: artists at art fairs, mom-and-pop businesses, or make my gifts. For some reason I was all distracted and obsessed with the election and stuff and didn’t get to many fairs this summer to start my Christmas shopping, so it was great going today – meeting real people trying to make a living selling something they have created with their own passion and their own hands. A lot of recycled materials showing up, by the way.
Anyway, to make a long story long, I’ve been out of touch. Any word on the meeting yesterday between PBO and the business leaders?
Here’s the only story I’ve seen on it. GOP is losing their big money friends lol.
Republicans have long relied on Big Business support, thanks to the party’s no tax, no regulations mantra. But a trickle of CEOs who were active on last year’s debt ceiling fight has turned into a flood this time out, and some prominent ones are siding with Obama’s call for new revenues and showing up for events at the White House, including a meeting this week.
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1112/83954.html#.UKWS-5Vf0ZE.twitter
Ironically, ultimately it will be the fucking ‘markets’ that will force the thugs act on the fucking ‘fiscal cliff’. Very smart of Obama to talk to the left and unions as well as the fucking ‘job creators’. Unless of course the left starts whining about the latter.
There you go 57andfemale http://firstread.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/11/14/15171606-ceos-offer-obama-support-to-avoid-fiscal-cliff?ocid=twitter

“There is this cool technology we have here in the 21st Century called VIDEO”
😆 😆 A gem!!!!
Seriously. AMIRITE???? I am so fuckign sick to death of these fuckterds saying MY POTUS didn’t call Benghazi a “terror” attack/act, when it’s ON FUCKING VIDEO, within 24 hours of the event. E.T. FUCKING A. on this video being played on ANY NEWS SHOW???
You are 100% right Tally – but I think you have a point, these creatures must never have heard of that new-fangled thing, video. 🙄
I know….. technology, as Ann Romney says, “Is hard.”
Ah, go easy on her Tally – she LOVES women, so presumably that includes us 😎
I am coming here late and I am sure you’ve already gone to bed. Any way, I hope your ankle is a little bit better today and you are taking good care of yourself. From all the incredible posts you posted today you must have a high degree of pain toleration. I also wanted to thank you and your fellow twitter warriors (Edwina, Bobfr, Dudette, Tally, UT, AMK, and others) for keeping up the fight against these despicable Republicans like John McCain.
Remember when he didn’t know how to send email? And he carried that flip top phone? He’s such a dinosaur.
And his staff should be fired for allowing him to be uninformed to the point he would claim that tired LIE that FoxFucks™ keeps spewing.
The TEAGOP are making a laughing stock of our government, and I’m FUCKING SICK OF IT.
“There is this cool technology we have here in the 21st Century called VIDEO.”
Dang, Tally, thanks for the clue 😀 😀 😀
Well done, friend!!! Great Tweet!!!

Thanks babe!!!

wohooooooo!!!
So anyone have a calculator to get the math on that? Still 50% something to 47% something?
Now we are talking. Thanks for sharing this, Bill.
I need Nancy to get the gavel back.
We all do!!
America does!
But the table shows Obama is 51.53% (which is correct btw).
yeah. weird. maybe it was updated since she tweeted that and the link doesn’t change.
That table shows only the raw votes for the PBO and the loser. It doesn’t show the total of other whackos like what’shisname libertarian and the other lefty lunatic loser what’shername. That could account for it.
I invite you all to go thank this special kind of crazy – yes, I’m serious.
HAAAAAAAA!!! LOVE YOU!!!
What a turd she is Tally, good grief!
Oh, Chips, that is just sooooooooo tart!!! 🙂
A lemon tart, Bob!!!!
Yep 😀 😀 😀
AND – she doesn’t have a BANK ACCOUNT!!!! HFS.
It’s hilarious, she started out trying to sound like a Firebagger OWS type, now she wants to send money to Karl Rove and Co. WTF?! 😆
BOOM!
Evil!!!!
What’s all this? Is Karl Rove trying to recover the money to give back to their billionaire donors? How stupid are these people who are willing to donate $5 to the “Karl Rove” fund? To give back to the billionaires, or to pay for Rove to get out of dodge?
As it sinks in, the irony and KARMA of the Petraeus fiasco is simply mind boggling ….
no, actually, he was taken down by a lethal combination of his little head overruling his big head.
He has the breath of a dinosaur. extinction calls to him. . . .

Again, great news for California. Now Let’s win CA52 (the Congressional district that will Represent Romney when he moves to his car elevator mansion in La Jolla, CA).
Hello TOD family,
Like many of you I participated in the phone call with President Obama on Tuesday, and yesterday I joined another phone call with Jon Carson from the Office of Public Engagement. Both left me with a stronger then ever resolve to stand with this President and do more to support his vision for the future. It is clear that he needs us to make our voices heard. Our help is needed immediately in dealing with the tax issue, specifically the need for Congress to make the middle class tax cuts permanent before the end of the year. Detailed information is available on whitehouse.gov as well as an opportunity to add our voices and tell Congress to act now. Our twitter experts can push this issue as well – it should get more attention than the Republican distraction machine. We need to make sure that President Obama’s plan will prevail. So I am asking everyone to please join in and keep up the pressure. Already there are signs that some Republicans are listening. If we win this first battle, it will be much easier for the President to push through the rest of his agenda.
I did my citizen ‘job’ again today….second week……called my three TN reps with same message as last week: Do your job. Be a statesman. Stop obstructing. Work WITH the President to move this country FORWARD. The election is over and we won. Told all them I would be calling every week until I see evidence that they are working WITH PO instead of Grover Norquist.
That’s great tnmtngirl and exactly what is needed!
Excellent!!!
Might one wax poetic hither and yon?
good evening, I so love retweeting from this wonderful home. as a almost 73 year old person, I learned how to retweet because of Bob’s wonderful tweets. Perhaps one of the really smart ppl here could put info up on how to set up a tweet account. It would help in getting
info out to the masses. As we work thru the next few years, I think the more we can spread the message the better we will do in helping the President get programs info out. Love all of youas a dear family.
Hi Inga,
Thank you!
And, it’s just a couple of steps to create a Twitter account.
Go to http://www.twitter.com
Under ‘New to Twitter Sign Up’
Enter a name – it can be anything you want to use
Enter a valid email address
Enter a password that you create
Click ‘Sign Up’
You will then be asked to add some folk that you want to follow and you can use Chips ‘TOD on Twitter’ http://theobamadiary.com/team-up-on-twitter/ to find plenty of folk to enter as they typically have you enter 5, then 5 more, then another 5.
With that you will have an account and a profile page on which you can decide to enter an image for your icon/avatar and enter other info. You can certainly ask folk here for help at that stage if you have any questions.
Let us all know your twitter @name so we can all follow you. And, just Tweet away!!!

thanks Bob, Yes I kind of did a twitter account setup on my own when I started seeing all of ur great tweets. Hopefully others, who have not taken advantage of this great way to get the message out will start a tweeter acct. I had planned to close mine after the election, and with what we have yet to do, will continue to spread our message far and wide. Hopefully ur easy to follow info will get others to take the leap. Didn’t WA do well in the election? well except on my side of the state! again tvm
Great news that you are going to be shoulder-to-shoulder with us, Inga. WA did great but we do have some work to do East of the Cascades 🙂

Beautiful tweet PJ.

Intense focus on Graham’s Military Service Record is way past due …
Back in the ’90s, and even after he was caught in the fib, he led people to believe he’d served in the Gulf War

Just gotta say — I love Shonda Rhimes! They’re playing Parliament as background music on Scandal. GTFOH! LOL!
Weeping! Snort laughin’! Stomach hurts! ROFLMAO!!!
Hitler finds out Obama won re-election
Hahahaha!! “What kind of person waits 9 hours to vote?” … “After all we’ve done for this country”
‘Bring me Karl Rove’ 😀 😀 😀 😀
dudette9t9, I loved the Hilter video. The part about bring me Karl Rove, loved it. Throw Donald Trump and the whole darn crew at Fox, and we can’t leave out Rush “the pill popping ” Limbaugh.
All those who voted for Obama, leave the room. Ha. Ha. Ha.
Hope you’re still up 9t9. From the bsmt.
Woah, you’re all very cultured tonight! Yardarm, you might yet turn me in to a sophisticated young (shh) lady!
My fondest wish ma’am. 🙂
Duuuuuuuuude! You broke out the Gershwin… Victor 12′?!! Well, dayum…. go ‘head, Mister Thang! I can’t touch that with feather!!
I bow down!!! [… genuflecting like a mofo] 😀
You young fellas out there — pay attention, watch a master WORK! Go Yardarm!!
Naw that ain’t necessary. Just invite me to the next party, ‘kay?
Most assuredly!
Say goodnight Uhura.
Yes Indeed! Old fellas could also benefit, dudette. My late brother, a WWII vet, used to love this Gershwin.
Wait ’til I find some Carmin Cavallerro.
Now yer just showin’ off … but please proceed! 🙂
😆 Weepin’!
Well you made me go downstairs!
Yardarm, I am glad Dudette provoked you. We need more of your dusty classical ones. I am sure you have some Duke Ellington to share with us.
Check me out tomorrow. I was thinking along those lines believe it or not.
Looking forward to that and all the goodies you may come up with. I thank you and Dudette for the fabulous music you share. We need it to keep our spirits high and our hearts joyful. After the re-election of President Obama, I don’t mind spending the next two months celebrating as we head towards his inauguration in January. S,o keep dusting off and sharing the oldies but goodies. I know Dudette is determined not to be out done; which is a good thing.
Is that wine or a singer person, Yardarm?
Band leader back in the ’30’s.
Ah, okay – I’m embarrassed now, but thank you for not laughing at me Yardarm.
I’d never do that unless you mess-up your other ankle. 🙂
As if I’d do something as stupid as thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttt. Ouch. 😳
I have nothing further to say. 🙂
Very nice!
Thank you.
‘welcome!
Good Evening,
OMG! OMG! This is so incredible. I can barely laugh because of my persistent caugh but had to. Thanks for this. It made my evening.
“cough” and not caugh.
I saw this movie many times. But this interpretation is the best.
Ain’t it tho! 🙂
Just watched LOD commentary on Faux New and their comments about hurricane Sandy could not increase first time jobless applications. Where do they find those fools, they have fewer brains and sense than Palin, ugh. How any body watches that BS is beyond me…….
OMG, a few minutes ago they were playing Chaka Khan on Scandal. Now Nina Simone – I think it’s gonna rain today! What?!!
I’m undone!! 😀
Dudette! My ankle! Stop making me dance! 😆
So sorry, Mama Chips! Put a pillow under that thing and chillax, woman! Nina’s for closing your eyes and swayin’ anyway.
** Swaying ** 🙂
Hi all- hate to do this, but…my Twitter account was hacked. What do I need to do? Close the account and open another? If so, how do I close the account?
Thanks in advance to ANYONE who can HELP!
Nah, no need to close your account (at least not yet).
Follow Twitter Support’s advice here: https://support.twitter.com/groups/32-something-s-not-working/topics/115-can-t-login/articles/185703-my-account-is-compromised-hacked-and-i-can-t-log-in#
I found this to be helpful too when it happened to me:

THANKS! It worked.
Will the pro-left media ever try a different tactic than their usual tiresome bullshit? It’s as if they can’t help themselves but repeat the same old tiresome lines.
Can’t get a word in edgewise here, sweet dreams y’all, long days now. {{{{{PBO}}}}} 😉
Huh? Bed? Where’s your stamina woman!!!
‘Nite Pamela. I’m not long after ya. Fighting off a cold. Hacking up phelgm is exhausting!
Well, I’m off to bed My Lovelies. Merry dreams and bright tomorrows!
