Okay, my life is now complete…

Remember I was majestically kind enough earlier today (this post) to share with you one of my spectacular photos from the last inauguration?

Some of you were rude enough to refer to it as the ‘horse manure’ pic, which said a whole more about you than my masterly eye for a photograph.

Any way, I captioned it:

“Eat your heart out, Scout Tufankjian”

Some of you might be aware that I worship the ground Scout Tufankjian carries her cameras on (if you haven’t bought this book you should be ashamed), she’s the most brilliant photographer on planet earth – and did gorgeous work again on the 2012 campaign (I’ve posted lots of her photos, you can see more here)

So, where were we?

Yes, my ‘horse manure’ pic that SO many of you failed to appreciate?

Well.

Look what I just found in pending:

And yes, I checked, it’s HER!

****

****

Scout Tufankjian? I LOVE you! 😆

The rest of you? Like Scout, please respect my horse manure pics in future, okay?

Hey Chips, Thanks so much for all you have done for us with your blog.

  2. November 8, 2012 at 9:43 pm

As my mother used to say, “After the Lord Mayor’s show comes the Corporation muck cart!” Toilet win on quantity, but manure definitely wins on quality.

YEAH!!! – we have four more years of seeing this beautiful, intelligent President in action…From the inauguration in 2013, to the WHCD in April, Easter Egg Roll, Memorial Day, July 4th, Holiday Season, and everything in between!!

We also have to work to help him get a better congress (more DEM house seats) in the 2014 midterms!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

You are absolutely right, UT! Here is what else we should do. We should identify GOP Representatives who barely won their seats and put pressure on them to support the President’s Agenda. If they refuse we must start organizing to defeat them in 2014. We should do the same with GOP U.S. Senators up for re-election in states President Obama won. No more playing nice with these bastards.

Now see everyone? Tally knows art when she spots it. But she IS a fellow artist, so she knows about these things.

That reminds me. I had the very good fortune to visit Australia a few years back and fell in love with Sidney Nolan’s Ned Kelly paintings. So, I bought this print:

          My mother’s response?

          “For feck sake, that’s a horse’s arse.”

See? Some people just cannot appreciate art.

And I like think of myself as the Sidney Nolan of photography. 😕

As I read the posts I am encouraged by all of the supporters who give their all for this miraculous human being, President Barack Obama. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

ACCORDING TO SPEAKER BOEHNER; UP IS DOWN, BLACK IS WHITE, AND 2=2 = 5

And there in lies the problem. The mainstream media should be laughing in his face. Clearly they all have Romnesia if they don’t remember that Boehner and Cantor obstructed everything President Obama tried to do for four years. Speaker Boehner is the poster child for obstructing and blocking legislation. So how is it possible for him to make such an inane statement and the media just reports it as if it makes all the sense in the world. The media took too long to call out Romney for lying. And they are still handling Speaker Boehner with kid gloves. We all know why the the unemployment number is not lower. It’s precisely because Speaker Boehner WAS NOT REASONABLE as he claims. He was being led around by the nose by the Tea Party and Grover Norquist and doing their bidding. Any reporter who reports on this ridiculous comment from Speaker Boehner without cracking up and laughing in his face should be ashamed of themselves. Somebody needs to challenge Boehner on this silly declaration. As Harry Reid would say, Poppycock.

GROVER NORQUIST IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CURRENT POLITICAL GRIDLOCK AND DYSFUNCTION.

    Who Elected This Guy?

    By Judah Ginsberg

    ————————————–

Who elected Grover Norquist? Did you vote for him for anything? No, you did not.

It’s not that you chose someone else over Grover Norquist. It’s that you never had a chance to vote for him or against him.

Grover Norquist never runs for office. Yet he is arguably the most powerful man in America.

Norquist owes his power to his position as head of Americans for Tax Reform, an organization that claims 238 members of the House of Representatives and 41 Senators, the vast majority of them Republicans, have signed his pledge to oppose any attempt to increase taxes, whether marginal rates or the elimination of deductions unless matched by a corresponding decrease in tax rates.
    .
    .
Norquist started pushing his no-tax pledge about 25 years ago, and he has been very successful. So successful that he more than anyone else is responsible for gridlock in Washington. OK, perhaps Newt Gingrich is as responsible as Norquist for the current political dysfunction.

Sooooo, Chips, would you consider putting together a calendar or maybe several different ones like

One with just our Beloved President (please include the picture where he is smiling in the rain)

One with the entire Obama family

One with just Barack and Michelle

One with just the First Daughters

    One with Bo

    One with Barack and Joe

One with the Bidens-Joe and Jill

      Teh Karma

In the richest, Massachusetts’ Nantucket County, where average annual household income is over $137,000, Obama won by 63 percent to Romney’s 36 percent with all precincts reporting. The richest county in Romney’s home state is also where, just prior to accepting the Republican nomination, the former Massachusetts governor held a $75,000-per-person dinner fundraiser.
