Obama won! Okay, I’m happy and overjoyed now. I’m going to go to bed soon because I began drinking long before it was appropriate. Ha!

OK – at some point – think about what this election really means – a victory over money, corruption, greed, and hatred!

Thank you, God. Thank you all the beautiful TOD family who worked so much and gave 100 percent of themselves through this long tumultuous campaign season. Thanks to Chips for keeping us all going through nerves and tears and tension. We won and the dark, destructive force that is Romney/Ryan is defeated. Our beloved president is re-elected and every ache and pain, every long, exhausting hour of these last four GOTV days has been worth it. We did it. And our country can truly move forward into the light.

I have wondered previously but always been afraid to voice it incase it jinxed PBO. I am not sure there was any other Democratic candidate that could have defeated all of the odds against him you mentioned in your tweet especially the Citizen’s United decision.

Romney campaign is not conceding Ohio. I think that is what is holding up Mitt’s concession speech. Could it be they put so much faith in John Husted’s efforts that they can’t believe that more voter suppression did not happen?

    Ohio goes to Obama!

Okay, I’m done now. Time to go to bed (the bourbon is getting to me). Honestly, Ohio was the only northern state I was concerned about (especially since I spent part of my “growing up” years in the state). I’m glad that once again, when push comes to shove, Ohioans know what’s up!!!!

The only other state outside of the South I’m concerned about is Kansas, but Kansas wouldn’t be coming around anytime soon. Despite it’s rich progressive history, Kansas has gone total right-wing nut job since the 1990s!!!! However, the state could give us some useful insights on what happens to the GOP after this election.
