You are the best, I don’t know what we would do without you. A warrior for the President.

I will need a few days to sleep and catch up on work, but soon I will share my stories…. Becoming the team leader 1 month before the election is quite an adventure.

You can hide among the millions who will be crying right along with you. It’s been a travesty that this awesome President has had to compete with a charlatan in the first place, and that his four years of accomplishment didn’t even seem to factor into the equation. He deserves a second term – and we will all be crying with joy and gratefulness that he signed up for a second term after the way he’s been treated.

Here in VA they had us to go the polling places to make sure voters did not get frustrated about the wait and leave. They need the votes. They had us knocking on doors until 6:45. Its going to be really close here..

  23. November 6, 2012 at 8:58 pm

WE ARE GOING TO WIN. But it will take getting the south out of the way first. Romney take the entire racist block, so it makes sense that he’s ahead right now. It’s not going to last for long.

I want to stay calm. But I have two problems. 1) A guy that has proven to be very well suited for a very difficult job and has a proven record of doing the job very well. Oh, also he’s a wonderful person with a terrific wife and daughters, his life is inspirational AND he’s inspiring. 2) The other guy is a fucking pathological LIAR, incapable of telling the truth, a mercenary, full of shit, his record is disgusting and he IS disgusting. These are my problems with staying calm.

Just got home from 8 hours at OFA office. LOTS of workers and LOTS of food! I made well over 300 calls today to OH, PA…..positive results and had some great conversations. I have to say, I’m going to miss these phonebanks…I really liked talking to these people and I’ll have such fond memories of this experience. I got the occasional asshole, but they just made me chuckle for the most part.

I need to be here with all of you, for this night. Have my gin and tonic….have my TOD family….have my President. No where else I’d rather be. Let’s DO THIS THING!!

I was phone banking today. We were calling WI and OH. All of the sudden with 45 (or what we thought was 45) minutes until they closed, the campaign had us calling Virginia. It was cool. It was a sheet of young people. Talked to a young girl in line. She said everyone was excited to vote for our wonderful President. It didn’t last long, we were back to calling WI in no time.

Woooot! Warren wins in MA (per MSNBC)!! 😀 😀 😀

  162. November 6, 2012 at 9:43 pm

Saw amazing results in our little corner of PA, as our pollwatchers were calling in early counts. Little precincts that had never had much turnout were showing overwhelming 4 to 1 turnout for PBO. We set in out in our effort to match 2008 turnouts and we blew those numbers away. Latinos voted in historic numbers in our area. They were going to vote and they were not going to be intimidated. The hatred of Romney was absolutely palpable.
