holy shit you don’t think the pres really calls the boss in the middle of the night singing to him? I wish their sound was louder on cnn. Even in the quiet of the house it’s hard to hear him talking/singing

  18. November 5, 2012 at 10:42 pm

I am so far behind in the posts today, I will never catch up. I will spend the time between now and President Obama’s second Inaugural reading all the articles and listening to all the speeches I missed. Using the dashboard calling tool today, I contacted a lovely woman who had voted absentee already. She said she wouldn’t tell me her vote because that was personal, but “I’m black, so you know how I voted”/ I said, “Well I’m white and I’m voting for him, probably for the same reason!” We both agreed he was the greatest president we’ve known, and really, a naughty mat was needed as she made a comment about how fine he was, and I agreed! Since most of my calls were not that friendly, I really enjoyed chatting with her. We both agreed we’d be praying tonight 🙂

Wonderful tweet, Dudette! For some of us oldies this brings back memories and lots of emotions. I am so glad young people are being exposed to this history. The struggle to gain the right to vote was long and painful, and many people, now forgotten, made the ultimate sacrifice in order to ensure that future generations would be able to exercise this right.

Finished a 13 hour day at staging location. Tomorrow starts at 6:00 a.m. and goes until all polls close and all voters in line get their chance to vote. Today volunteers were excited, giddy that we were getting to close to the end and working very, very hard to get every supporter to step up and vote tomorrow. We’re even scheduled to take emergency ballots to the hospitals to those who are too sick to vote.. Busy, busy, crazy day ahead, but every one’s heart is so 100 percent in it, it’s a joy to see. Will see you all on the other end, when the job is done. God Bless our president and let the day be his (and ours)!!

PJ, I thinking of some of the same thoughts and my emotions took over again. We are so blessed to have this beautiful couple as our First Couple. This is such a great time to be living during this presidency.

I love the way POB and FLOTUS and team make his campaign moves have such great meaning. This was so fitting in so many ways.

I am crying, and joyful as well. This is a wonderful new page in our “The Audacity To Win Again.” I am looking forward to casting my vote tomorrow for this beautiful soul, our brilliant president.

I want to remind all of us who will be standing in lines to make sure that you have water, some snacks for yourself and even some to share with someone, a folding chair and your cellphone. Make sure that you inform a family member when you leave to go to your polling place. Just a precauition and make sure you look to see who is around you.

Park your car in a safe place and make sure that you take note of the time on your phone or watch as you enter your place in line. Keep you eyes open and your ears open. If you see or hear anything unusual, call your local FBI office, police, and family member. Carry your own kleenex and drink your own water.

Carry your music, a book, a puzzle, or something that you enjoy to help you with the standing in line.

I love you all so much. I had some great calls into WI. Beautiful people. I will be calling again tomorrow after taking care of some medical needs.

Have yourself a little nap, set up the candles, tea/coffee, wine, great foods and put on something relaxing as you watch the returns. Great Evening to be Enjoyed by our TOD Family.

Lastly, say some prayers for POTUS, FLOTUS, VPOTUS and SLOTUS. Also remember Ax, Stephanie, Jim, Ben, Rufus, Gibby, and David Plouffe. Let’s fill our space with great music, good food, great prayers and meditations and just plain speak the word out loud for what we want and send our good energy out to POB.

We are going to be fine. I have a peace. Also do not allow the evil people to take over our space. This is our day to make many hopes and dreams come true to the many young people who have turned 18 since POB became president. So many to feel the great enegery that we all have this time 4 yrs. ago. What a time to be living this history.

I can’t sleep, so I will keep the lights on and listen and watch some great videos of where we have been.

Chips, I love you so much, my sweet and special angel. (((((((((((((((( Lots of love from my Heart)))))))
This is my sweet haven to come to, and I just want to say,” Thank you, my beautiful Chips.HZ

I loved her talking about you can love no matter who you are a few minutes ago . The two of them hugging on stage is truly an testament of their love and faith in each other and their determination.

Exactly! The win tomorrow will show that money, no matter how much, can’t buy a determined and conscious people. President Obama will win tomorrow. But even more importantly, the American people, that he placed so much faith in, will win tomorrow. Their win will show that despite all the money amassed by billionaires, millionaires and corporations, ordinary people, equipped with knowledge and determination, ultimately triumph in a democracy.

Well now I’m an emotional mess (steady stream of tears) I was able to witness his speech on that cold February morning when he declared his run for the Presidency and now I have witnessed his last rally as a candidate. Wow, we have to win this tomorrow for him and ourselves. We just have to do it!!!!!!!!!!

    • 256 carol in ky
      November 6, 2012 at 12:06 am

I was blessed to watch the speech on that cold February morning too, and was here for this one tonight, and all in between.
I couldn’t write earlier during his talk because my emotions were too raw. His tears were my undoing, I’m afraid. I thought of
his dear grandmother and felt he must be thinking of her too. I’m 68 years old, and this man has touched me more than any
president in my lifetime. I was broken hearted when President Kennedy was assassinated that’s true. But this man, our
wonderful President Obama has touched my heart in ways that no other one has, or I doubt ever will. I know that all of you
realize just how truly blessed we’ve been to have him these past 4 years, and please God, give us 4 more! I just wish those
folks who treat him so badly, who say such horrible things about him, and who are determined to vote for the liar tomorrow….
I just wish they would realize how blessed they too have been to have him as our president. They probably never will tho 😦
Forgive my long winded post, but my heart is so full right now…full of sadness, but mostly full of pride in “our guy” and
full of hope for the future. I’m Fired Up and Ready to GO…and I knew he was too when the speech was over and he
tapped the side of the lecturn!! That made me smile 🙂 I sure do love that man.

He looks just like his grandfather and his mother tonight. I am so sorry they did not live to see him tonight. I am so happy and I know I will be happier tomorrow night. Folks ,I don’t know who would want to not vote for this man.

If anyone is still undecided I suggest they stay home, they weren’t going to vote for him anyway. I am not staying up to listen to or watch Romwho. Sleep well, God bless you all.

We watched this great man in silence and awe tonight. I well remember his 2004 convention speech, and since then, we have been his solid supporters. He has NOT disappointed us, petty people have, but he keeps going and smiling. A man of total integrity, honesty and compassion. In my long life, he is the best president, and I’m so glad I lived to be part of the age of Obama! I absolutely adore him and his wife.

What an emotional speech. Worth getting up for even if I have gotten through a whole box of kleenex!!! PBO at his most awesome best. We NEED him for another 4 years. I will be here all day tomorrow (today here in the UK) and will stay up all night until the results are in and we re elect the greatest President in my lifetime if not ever, Barack Hussein Obama!

Just want to say to Chipsticks THANK YOU for your spectacular site and for all you do to bring us positive and uplifting news on PBO and thank all of you for your unyielding support for PBO, each other and thank you for being such a supportive family to me over the last few years.
