Jen should be tweeting people telling them to vote instead of tweeting this! The only poll that counts is the one tomorrow! Been calling and texting everyone in my contacts log about getting out the vote. Tried to convince one who is convinced his vote doesn’t count but if he were to vote, he’d vote PBO. I gave him the 2000george W. numbers: 537. Hope I changed his mind.

Chris does have the gift of the gab, and aside from his tendency to fly off the handle, he’s on the right side.

I have a piece for TPV percolating in my brain, but, of course, being the superstitious sort, won’t start writing it until the race is declared for PBO.

Of course I love Chris Matthews “Let Me Finish” segment tonight…and Rachel Maddows’ list of Our Presidents accomplishments.
But “these” two people…supposedly people that think somewhat like us, stand for similar principals, “these” two people with the microphones, have done there part to feed the repugs narrative about the failure of our Presidents leadership. So while at this time I am thankful for their voices (the eve of the election), how should we judge them if they are considered the voices of the progressives? Why did they not fight back when our President needed their voices the most? I will never look at them the same…never. They have betrayed our President time and time again. I am glad they are with our voices now, but they carry the marks of betrayal too.

Carla, don’t let folks call you cynical either. I agree with you because of all the valuable time those two have wasted and it was all for their own glory. To my ears, what I heard from Matthews sounded too much like a swan song, though I would not accuse him of such. Too little, too late for me. I value, highly, integrity over most anything. Good look out !! Don’t mean to be negative, TOD. It is what it is. Forward and beyond !!

What is wrong with these journalists?

She could have discussed these issues every week but chose instead to have on ridiculous Republicans dissing the President.
Sick and tired of all of them. Have no confidence in any of them anymore. The media needs to be rinsed out.

So am I. Is there even one who has reported the truth, the facts, consistently and without putting a “spin” on it … I don’t think so. I don’t even watch Rachel anymore. Respect … they have shown our President none … and they deserve the same.

      November 5, 2012 at 10:25 pm

Criquet, I say wait until Wednesday Nov. 7th to voice your critiques and disgust. Right now It’s very important to keep our Eyes on the PRIZE. I am glad that Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews finally saw the light. Instead of shunning them we must welcome them. I am not a devout Christian, but I come from a very devout Christian family. I distinctly remember the teachings about that Jesus not giving up on his disciple Peter thought Peter had repeatedly denied him at the time he was about to be crucified. Let’s us practice Jesus’ love of Peter when it comes to Pundits who previously denied our incredible President for whatever reasons but who are now providing a rock for his re-election.

The MSM buzzards deserve this shhh..

    hahahahahahah

The MSM buzzard deserve this shit.

Romney Charges Reporters for Election Night Party

Mitt Romney “appears to be setting a precedent this election year in charging journalists and news organizations for any access to a presidential campaign headquarters on the night of the election,” Mass Live reports.

Romney “will be holding his election night gathering at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, where access costs anywhere from $75 for a chair in the ballroom to $1,020 for permission to use the media filing center. Broadcast news organizations will be paying up to $6,500 for workspace.”

“Obama’s campaign party will be held at McCormick Place, in Chicago, and although his campaign is charging for premiums, credentialed reporters are granted access, which includes a workstation, electrical power and a wireless Internet connection, at no cost.”

    • 60 99ts
      November 5, 2012 at 9:46 pm

HAHAHAHAHA – gives a few cans of food to sandy victims and charges the press for access – what a horrible excuse of a man – He knows he has lost & is going to make money out of losing

    • 64 carla4obama
      November 5, 2012 at 9:50 pm

And will the reporters raise hell about this? Call this lying, money grubber, POS out for this? Think not..bend over reporters, its your turn.

    • 65 vcprezofan2
      November 5, 2012 at 10:08 pm

I wonder what would happen if all media chose not to go to Romney’s gathering? Would he change his tune if they all planned to boycott the event? They won’t, but it’s fun to speculate.

      • 66 daisydem
        November 5, 2012 at 10:13 pm

That was my thought exactly vcprezofan2 : I would give anything if the press would just say, well, okay we won’t go then. Won’t happen, because we know the press has a RWNJ bias, but it is fun to think what would happen otherwise.

Here’s Al Giordano’s take on the vote: 318 EV, North Carolina yes due to the field advantage. Why OFA makes a difference. He does not think our organizing can overcome the effects of voter suppression in FL. Good analysis.

    • 76 nathkatun7
      November 6, 2012 at 1:58 am

As much as I admire and respect Al Giordano, I still think the President will win both Florida and North Carolina. I am evening predicting that he will also win NE’s 2nd Congressional District as he did in 2008. So, I am sticking with my prediction of 348EVs. An upset win in AZ by the President will raise the EVs to 359.

So, the good thing of cooking for an army is that you have a lot of leftovers. Didn’t have to cook tonight, which is good, as I have to wake up at 5 a.m. tomorrow. And won’t have to cook tomorrow, which is good, as I might be a bit tipsy.

Rather sad – the positives (for Moore) went to his head in a most negative fashion – He could have made a difference and decided not to bother. Now neither side of politics wants him.

        • November 5, 2012 at 10:27 pm

I used to have great time for him 99ts, now, to be honest, I just think he’s an ego-driven fraud. Using non-union labor on one of his movies was the last straw.

    • November 5, 2012 at 10:29 pm

People are RTing him into my TL and it turns my stomach how he’s directing traffic to his own website to give out info on how to volunteer for PBO. After what he’s done over the last 4 years, I find him disgusting. He’s a complete selfish egomaniac.

You know AMK, I just love your wise practicality just as much as I love Bobfr’s wise practicality. Today and tomorrow I will welcome the support of Michael Moore, Chris Matthews, and others. On November 7th, after the President has been re-elected, I will have my chance to say to them exactly how I felt about their betrayal that gave us a Republican dominated House of Representatives. This is not the time to dis people who are trying to help President Obama win re-election. I also hope we are big enough to forgive those who strayed but are now desperately trying to come back home. Just my two cents.
