Just read on DU that some jerks on freerepublic were bragging about canvassing for Romney in TX and reporting it to OFA like they were working for Obama. Isn’t there a way we can report this?
Summary of Wi. calls—–voters there are very aware of how critical their vote is. All except 2 oddballs made clear they were voting and voting for Obama. Very steady activity at the polling place, with a very diverse group of people voting. Everyone was pleasant, calm, and orderly. Lots of Obama love in the parking lot. Felt so good!

Ok, I want people to watch this. This show is Roc, starring Charles S. Dutton, now a big Obama supporter. This was a show on Fox back when good television shows existed and I loved it, because of its commentary on issues of daily life. Here is a show on the 1992 U.S. Presidential Election between George Bush, Bill Clinton and H. Ross Perot.
OMG—(literally)——just heard on Bashir the Romney robocall where he speaks in a dark, spooky voice saying Obama is threatening the Christian religion, threatening your religious freedom. Always the dirtiest of dirty tricks with the Repub Party, trying to scare low info voters again—-along the same lines of past scare tactics—–‘Obama’s coming to get your gun and your Bible.’ Be afraid, be very afraid! Boo!!!
whereas robmey coming to get your job, your granny’s pension, your child’s healthcare, your house, your car, your pocket change, your uterus—pay no attention to that.
wonderful summation from the new yorker’s endorsement of pbo for re-election:
‘ The reëlection of Barack Obama is a matter of great urgency. Not only are we in broad agreement with his policy directions; we also see in him what is absent in Mitt Romney—a first-rate political temperament and a deep sense of fairness and integrity. A two-term Obama Administration will leave an enduringly positive imprint on political life. It will bolster the ideal of good governance and a social vision that tempers individualism with a concern for community. Every Presidential election involves a contest over the idea of America. Obama’s America—one that progresses, however falteringly, toward social justice, tolerance, and equality—represents the future that this country deserves. ♦ ‘
CNN is depressed. Instead of having pre-election analyses (like MSNBC) instead tonight they are having a marathon of re-runs of the “Romney” and “Obama” documentaries that first aired over a month ago!!
We all know what happens when elections are this close. We all remember Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004.
2012 is shaping up to be no different. Already this year, we’ve seen hundreds of attempts to disenfranchise voters through complicated ID laws, purges of the voting rolls, and voter intimidation. And according to news reports, a Koch Brothers-funded group plans to challenge voters on Election Day across the country.
We’re sending you this email because you live in an area that is expected to experience problems on Election Day.
In past elections, it took months for the full story of voter disenfranchisement to emerge, and by that point it was too late.
That’s why we’re teaming up with our allies at Video The Vote, which is asking voters like you to be part of massive, nationwide monitoring effort on Election Day.
There are two ways to participate, and both can make a huge difference.
1. Sign Up – Click this link to sign up as a volunteer on Election Day and connect with others in your area. You can document voting irregularities locally or help research and push out
stories through the internet.
2. Be Prepared – If you see anything that looks wrong on Election Day, capture it with your smart phone or camera and then tag it with #VideoTheVote on Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, or Ustream —so that the VtV team can find it and push it out to the media.
Whether or not you sign up, please forward this email to friends and family so they know about the effort and that they are prepared to #videothevote.
Over the past two decades the far-Right has used the made-up problem of voter fraud to justify an array of tactics that serve to disenfranchise voters, particularly African Americans, Latinos, poor people, and older voters.
This year, the impact of that disenfranchisement campaign could be huge. The widely respected analyst Nate Silver of the New York Times estimates that just the new voter ID laws could affect turnout in some states by as much as 2.4%. That sounds small, until you remember that the 2000 election was decided by a few hundred votes in Florida.
Election Protection advocates have been fighting this trend every step of the way, and have won some important victories. But no one really knows what will happen until Election Day. That’s where Video the Vote comes in.
Citizen documentation plays a crucial role in scaring off those who are trying to intimidate voters, and forcing the media to cover the
issue.
And if, god forbid, the election results end up in court, the extent to which the media covers voter disenfranchisement could have a huge impact on how the cases unfold.
So please consider volunteering by signing up with the link below. When you #govote be prepared to #videothevote.
Phone cameras have given Mitt grief in this election – despite his best efforts – people hear what he really believes. That is a really good email explaining what everyone can do to help.
The figure given by Nate Silver is interesting. Somewhere in his archives he has a post about accounting for voter suppression in his model – so in some areas it would seem, with unhindered elections, the President could get another 2.4%
I find it sad that a country like the US has to be concerned about voter suppression and who counts the votes. If it was possible for PBO to pass legislation taking voting out of partisan control – that would be forward and change and everything good.
Rest. Pause. Relax. Breathe. Meditate. Pray. Calm Thy Space and Spirts of Goodness. Okay.
Phase 2:
Eat well. Replenish your body. Keep your space joyful, lots of good music, and laughter.
Phase 3:
Relax watch POTUS when you can. Fill your spirit and space with great videos of what POB has done. Bring the great moments into your space.
Phase 4:
Come here. Don’t be alone. Surround yourselves with the energy of POB and great photos.
Phase 5:
Light your candles for POTUS and team. Phonebank tomorrow, if you can.
Phase 6:
Watch POB’s rallies, if you can. Watch his deliverance of his speech. Try to watch his last stump speech.
Phase 7:
Pray for all of the organizers of “Souls To The Polls.” And pray for all of the thousands and thousands of attorneys all over the country. Believe me they are ready and together. That is all I will say about it. POTUS and the legal system are Not asleep. Trust me please. I know.
Phase *8
Get out and vote and take some one with you. Watch as you go to the polls. Be alert.
((((((((((((((((((((( Lots of great energy being sent out to our POTUS Now)))))))))))))))))))))))))))HZ
Steve Benen wrote a post a few months ago where he was trying to define the Romney campaign strategy. It’s all over the place, there is no rhyme or reason to their approach. He finally summed up both campaigns like this:
The struggle to define President Obama
———————————-
The Obama campaign tends to stick to specific themes, incorporating new information into the message matrix aides drew up a year ago, reinforcing larger arguments.
The Romney campaign tends to act like small children playing soccer, running wildly to wherever they see a bouncing ball, whether it’s strategically wise or not.
They cannot bear that the Obama administration has been squeaky clean: no misuse of power, no thieving, no sex scandals. It drives the RWNJ mad so they grab at any stupid thing they can sink their dentures in and try to make it into a scandal.
I just read this interesting article http://infidel753.blogspot.com/2012/11/the-fury-of-wingnuts-scorned.html about how the wingnuts are living in a blogosphere bubble where they actually think Romney is going to win on Tuesday and that Nate Silver will be drummed into oblivion as a fraud and that they will get to come to the liberal blogs and gloat to their hearts’ content on November 7th. My question are these: Will Fox News report an alternate set of election results on Tuesday that show Romney won? Or will Fox News report the actual results and force their viewers to suck in the truth for once?
May be they are planning on stealing the votes electronically and that’s why they are mad at the polls that show Romney loosing. I also heard that the media are not going to do exit polling. I wonder why? In both 2000 and 2004 exit polling conflicted with the final result in Florida and Ohio respectively. In other states, however, exit polling in 2000 and 2004 matched the final results. Without Florida, Bush would never have been selected President. And, without Ohio, Bush would never have been re-elected for a second term. It seems to me that FOX and other right wingers are trying to trash Nate Silver and others in order to prepare the public to accept a stolen election. I will be watching closely both Florida and Ohio. Mitt Romney can’t win the presidency without winning both Florida and Ohio. Like 2000 and 2004 both states respectively have Republican governors and Republican Secretaries of States who are highly partisan. Both states have done everything they could to try to suppress the votes. Thank God for the courts that have nullified their voter suppression shenanigans! All that remains that is of concern to me is how the votes are counted.
Oh, my very favourite little ‘Romney’ lady! 🙂 (I haven’t watched the clip yet) Thank you Chips. I was looking for her recently on the Tubes but couldn’t find her anywhere. I looked up stuff like ‘Mitt and the senior drinking coffee/tea’, ‘The coffee lady and Mitt Romney’, etc. etc
Well, NatGeo is a national cable network. It’s not like it has affiliates. What gets shown in one place gets shown everywhere. Just checked my schedule and it’s on at 5 PST.
OOOPS…never mind! I saw it. 🙂 I didn’t scroll to Sunday PM, and was instead looking at the AM times…So I set my DVR, and looking forward to viewing the movie!
My update. Still suffering from Pneumonia. Decided to make my calls today to WI. Made over 145 calls. Spoke to many very friendly people who say that they are planning to vote on Tues. Left a number of messages as well. Feeling positive about WI. Peace to everyone at TOD.
Thanks for the great work and hope you are feeling better soon! Isn’t it great that we can do calls from anywhere and be a positive force for this campaign?
Great day @ OFA. I’m so excited and fired up! Really happy that folks on this wonderful site have posted wonderful info for those that were concerned voter fraud and intimidation at the polls. The Obama campaign absolutely is on top of this. They knew from the very beginning that the Repugs would pull out all of the stops to steal this election, particularly in the battleground states and they are and have been MORE than prepared to deal with it. We are READY! Make no mistake. Repugs have relied on uninformed voters and bigots to get them into office…tried to stuff the most despicable candidate in U.S. history down our throats, but they have underestimated the voters in this election. Please encourage everyone not to be discouraged with the long lines…don’t let anything stop them from voting. For our Florida peeps, please don’t forget what your governor is pulling when it’s time for him to run again…run his ass out of town!
Been out and about all day with my radio on in my car. The ABC News got me scared so came here right away upon getting home. The news on the hour kept saying Romney was 6+ in FL and OH. I thought that seemed weird and they gave no poll names with the stats.
isn’t it interesting how the media is so disconnected from reality? i’ve also been frightened while listening to the car radio, then come home to check on tod’s take, and find the scary news was a bunch of hooey. clearly they think scaring us will make us vote for the rethugs, and that is just revolting.
I recommend recorded books at audible.com — I listen to them in the car.
Particularly, the ones written by and narrated by Barack Obama. Pretty good writer, that young man. I think he has a promising future.
Romney is not up 6 ANYWHERE. Romney is losing and the Republicans and their friends in the media don’t want to accept it. The media is complicit with the GOP in trying to push a narrative that Obama stole the election. That’s the angle they’re gearing for when Obama actually wins on Tuesday. But we won’t let them…we’re on to their shit, and it stinks on ice.
well, in the interest of factual clarity, it must be stated that robmey is up plenty in alabama, arkansas, idaho, louisianna, texas, utah–you get the picture. but in the ‘battleground states’ the races are all for pbo or tie–none of them show robmey up big.
What ABC News channel was that? Was that an ABC national broadcast or an ABC affiliated local broadcast? We need to know so we can call and ask them the source of their claims. Not even the Republican friendly polls have Romney up 6 points in either Ohio or Florida.
Question, are early voting tallys published as soon as polls close Tues? what I mean is, do they count tem soon as voting is over Tuesday, & release the numbers, or do they release them county by county on Tues?
I believe that when Chris Christie spoke to & met the President, he had an epiphany and realized how wasted had been the last 2 years of his Presidency. Gov Christie discovered that he likes the President, and the GOP bs from the past 4 years has been shown for what it really was.
I’ll keep saying it while I live about PBO “To know him is to love him”. All those folks who just want to touch him, smile at him, see him know all about it. Chris Christie just found out what they have known for years.
99ts, I believe that deep within my heart. I have been praying for the likes of Gov. Christie for four years. I see something in this meeting, however, we know that we never know what the situation will be in these types of “Coming to Jesus Moments,” but I do believe that prayer is a powerful thing. Meditation on situations for goodness between people is a real exercise within our space when we choose it.
Things have a very powerful way of moving people in order that other will not be harm or sustain suffering. POB is a pure and caring person, and million of people in this country are going to see something good come out of this pain and hurting going on right now. (((((((( Wisdom be continued to be given to our POTUS)))))
Very well said, HZ! It’s during crisis that you get to see the true measure of a person. I think Chris Christie, faced with an immense crisis, discovered the real Barak Obama and not the right wing manufactured caricature of the President that has dominated the right wing media for the past four years.
Ms Chips! I loved your “champion” video on an earlier thread…I was not online much today; so many posts…so little time! THANK YOU again so much for all you do, I will be staying up all night here in Germany on Tuesday, watching Wolf Blitzer (all we have!) with TOD on my laptop. Much love to you and all TOD folks, you are all brilliant!
Is it positive to call Chuck Todd an absolute fool – I think so – he is doing exactly what Nate Silver called the media on
“If you can’t acknowledge that (Mr Obama will win the electoral vote) after a day when Mr. Obama leads 19 out of 20 swing-state polls, then you should abandon the pretense that your goal is to inform rather than entertain the public.”
Chuck is even lousy at entertaining the public – no inform, no entertain – but then – seeing him squirm while he suggests this is a “toss up” – is all entertainment.
So I have put on some CDs (Chuck went seriously off the rails with his guests) – it would show my age if I said what – sounds like a Palladia is good – we don’t even have cable – it’s never been so good in my world – and very expensive.
If you live in a rural area, satellite is the way to go. I of course am a Dish fanboy; didn’t care for DirecTV when I had it. But, again, if you’re rural, either of those would be far preferable to cable.
First lady Michelle Obama rallies crowd at Miami University – OXFORD, Ohio
…An estimated 2,600 people braved a long line in freezing rain Saturday to see the first lady speak at Miami University in Oxford in southwestern Ohio. …
Oh. Oh. Oh. Just look at this beautiful man, oh my. Now I am crying too. And Chips’ Champin video had me blubbering this morning, had to go back to do my eyes again! Btw, I loved it! 🙂
But Jim Burn, the state’s Democratic chairman, said Romney’s visit is a desperate act that shows his campaign is stalled in once more-promising swing states like Ohio.
“The Republicans are in Pennsylvania only because they have nowhere else to go,” Burn said. Democrats have carried Pennsylvania in the past five presidential elections.
Terry Madonna, a Franklin & Marshall College pollster, said he expects nearly 60 percent of the 9.9 million Pennsylvanians age 18 or older to turn out at the polls Tuesday.
Okay, Chips. I am done. The compassion this President has is just overwhelming. The tears seems to be tears of gratefulness. I do not know if they are a couple or related, but it is so powerful. Thank you.
Just finished the first day of the four day marathon as a staging location director and I can’t remember feeling so tired. At this point, I’m not sure I could even manage to tie my shoes. But I’m so proud of the volunteers on the phones and doors and so impressed with the enthusiasm they brought to the job today. The president’s GOTV operation is being handled with military precision. Everybody is at their stations, everyone reporting up the chain of command on time through the day, And most of all, everyone committed to the single goal of winning this for our president on Tuesday. We’re in the heavily Latino area of our county and had terrific bi-lingual volunteers who really burned the telephones and ate up the miles walking the neighborhoods. One of them is a great cook and brought homemade Spanish food to every staging location in the city. And then he turned around and spent hours knocking on doors. That’s the kind of commitment that delivers a win!!! Night all.
Thank you so much Jackie for all the hard work and sacrifices! It’s people like you and me who will make sure that we re-elect our President. I am so impressed with the dedication and discipline of the people working on behalf of the President to GOTV!
REally?
I get two pictures Chips! I’d love some great PBO smiles, up close and person! (I know, I’m greedy, but I did hit first twice today!)
Hey, Mary Jones – congratulations on first place!
Thank you!
I am sooooo pleased about our Obama/Biden dynamic duo.
Wow!
Any seats left in the front?
I am slow today, and hanging on the last thread…..
Kust wanted to say THANK YOU ALL for the help:
I finally hit my twitter wall for the day with this story –

Guys, all you who work so hard this weekend – I love you
Love you back. You are the reason why we’re all here together. You have been a shining star from the git go…
They cheered when the Presidential Seal was put on the podium:)
now i’m crying.
The Colin Powell radio ad is running on our news station here in the DMV area. IMO the radio ad with his powerful voice is very convincing!
Powell cut an ad for PBO ? Cool.
For Our President!!!
CNN streaming ….
no sound?
The streaming is verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry glitchy DF, but there’s sound again at CBS:
http://www.ustream.tv/cbsnews
🙂 I’m watching on the local channel you linked
The Will Ferrell video is hilarious. Love him and his brand of humor.
I know UT, I laughed so hard at that video. I thought I was the only one 🙂
A quick picker-upper:
Pres. Obama is DOMINATING. Our GOTV efforts are paying off.
Absolutely great news! We need to build on this.
Interesting…

What was the speech yesterday? I was not on the Tubes much as wife and I had the day to ourselves so we got stuff done.
Saw a couple of tweets about it, LL. Not something I track closely 🙂
Hope your wife is steadily improving and the side effects of the antibiotics are lessening …
Someone wrote a good piece on it yesterday on TOD – I watched half, couldn’t watch any more (found it on C-Span I think). She was talking to wealthy, white ladies & spoke 99% of herself – and also too – vote for Mitt because I just know he’ll be wonderful.
With Ann Romney, it’s always all about her…
She suffers from a different narcissistic strain than her husband, but she is just as narcissistic and sociopathic as he…
#TrustBarack
O leaps onto the stage 🙂
#TrustBarack
Mitt can try and look like PBO by copying the clothes he wears – but no way can he emulate him in ANY way – the energy pours out of PBO to everyone else – no wonder Gov Christie was so impressed – he took time out to know the man he had complained about for 4 years – and discovered – to know him is to love him.
Not political, but I smile and boogie every time this commercial comes on:
Wow, me too, I actually went to find the song to post on my FB I liked it so much
For folks who are concerned about Ohio:
wow–i’m just picturing that phalanx of attorneys, all suited up, briefcases in hand, marching on ohio–all they need is some good rousing music for backup!
The son of one of my friends is an attorney who got trained to watch the polls in VA. He’s from DC.
That’s the difference between our supporters and Romney’s wackos. We’re in this to win it because we love, admire, and respect our guy.
And all they do is HATE.
Wow. Reminds me of the crowd somewhere in NE standing in a blizzard.
People in the audience yelling ‘he’s a liar’ …. these folk are definitely ‘fired up’ 🙂
Willard Romney’s take on the polls:
I love this video, it’s hilarious, especially the fact that every Canadian Comedian, like these guys in this movie totally support PBO.
PPP just released a new national poll showing Obama up by +3! According to PPP, that’s the first time either of the two candidates has lead nationally by more than 2pts in their polling.
Heads will explode – Nate Silver’s maths will hit 90%
President Obama is not giving himself a tax cut and certainly not giving Mr Romney a tax cut – he drops the Romney name in all the right places
Oh good—-Martin Bashir is on—-said there’s a “smell of victory in the air”. Don’t want to count my chickens, but it’s still nice to hear. Hopeful.
It is good for him to be on in Prime Time so that others can see how good his show is…..

woohoo! thanks for the report, pj. i loved taking my elderly mother to vote in 2008–her last presidential election. got to help her pull that lever for pbo!! these are family memories that will last and last.
Such a wonderful memory to have.
Don’t want to count my chickens but Bashir said NBC reporter Garett Haake travelling with the Romney campaign said there is an “end is near” gloomy atmosphere on the Romney plane.
It’s been prevalent in Ann Romney’s speeches.
It’s been prevalent in Chuck Todd’s facial expressions.
They will be a joy to watch late Tuesday evening
and how desperate he’s been to find fault with everything related to PBO i.e.: the jobs numbers. 🙄
Thanks for the heads up on Bashir, dotster! I love Martin Bashir.
Come on Chipsticks you don’t have anything from FLOTUS speech today? Or did she do any campaign events today.
She did, and she was fiercer than 1000 suns.
LL, you know I’m piss cause I miss FLOTUS. Chipsticks, anyone out there, you don’t have any of her speech today? 😦
Afraid not A, only saw it live.
Ah, you missed it A, posted a heads up in a previous thread, magnificent speech.
I had to go out this afternoon, and I missed FLOTUS. I’ll survive.
So, the tradition in Casa de LL is that we get absentee ballots, fill them out, then take them to our polling places. So, it saves time, but we still get the thrill of being where democracy takes place.

whereas robmey coming to get your job, your granny’s pension, your child’s healthcare, your house, your car, your pocket change, your uterus—pay no attention to that.
donde estas el SS?
I saw them there:) Not to worry!
wonderful summation from the new yorker’s endorsement of pbo for re-election:

MSNBC is having the Ed Show now and Martin Bashir tonight at 10:00PM.
http://blogs.desmoinesregister.com/dmr/index.php/2012/11/03/iowa-poll-final-stretch-in-iowa-gives-edge-to-obama/article?nclick_check=1
I have read Selzer is a very reliable pollster. Go Iowa.
She’s supposedly the gold standard when it comes to IOWA.
h/t C&L State of American economy….from a businessman’s POV….says things that a certain President says 🙂
Bashir: “Sununu is a vat of poison.” 🙂
bubbling, stinky, vile.
I’ll drink to that.
Perrrrrrrrfect!!!
CNN is depressed. Instead of having pre-election analyses (like MSNBC) instead tonight they are having a marathon of re-runs of the “Romney” and “Obama” documentaries that first aired over a month ago!!
I’m watching football, I’m not watching TeaNN. Can’t stand them, they have become Fox Jr. so to heck with them.
Oh I’m not watching them either. I just noticed from my on-screen TV Guide that they were having these reruns tonight.
Okay.
Email I received:
Thanks!
I feel it sad that this action is necessary, but pleased that the O’Campaign has been, and continue to be, proactive like its leader.
On my voting instructions it said no campaign lit or cameras allowed. So many cell phone?

ROMNEY CAMPAIGN IS LIKE CHILDREN RUNNING AFTER A BOUNCING BALL
The word “Revenge” is the latest ball. This is beyond embarrassing and really pathetic.
=====================================================================
———————————-
http://maddowblog.msnbc.com/_news/2012/09/21/14011087-the-struggle-to-define-president-obama?lite
That’s an interesting thought. Would almost (but only almost) take one to Fox to find out.
One wonders whether they will accept the results and if they don’t, if the Republican leadership will encourage this or shut it down.
I read in bj that a pox news chyron said the there were 170,000 job loss in October.
So, yes, they will be telling their racist crowd that mittbot has won.
I looked up stuff like ‘Mitt and the senior drinking coffee/tea’, ‘The coffee lady and Mitt Romney’, etc. etc
Don’t forget Nat Geo tomorrow night!! Set that DVR NOW:)
Thanks df for the reminder – was forgetting all about it. Off to set that DVR!
oh no – for some reason its not showing on the guide tomorrow! What is the title of the movie?
Seal team 6-something osama…
My Nat Geo is not showing it tomorrow. 😦 Maybe it’s only showing in some states, and not others.
Well, NatGeo is a national cable network. It’s not like it has affiliates. What gets shown in one place gets shown everywhere. Just checked my schedule and it’s on at 5 PST.
That’s what I thought, but now where on my guide tomorrow do I see this movie listed. Who is your cable service provider?
I use Dish Network. Who do you use?
OOOPS…never mind! I saw it. 🙂 I didn’t scroll to Sunday PM, and was instead looking at the AM times…So I set my DVR, and looking forward to viewing the movie!
State Senator Nina Turner – firebrand from Ohio – on the Ed Show
I loveeeeeeeee her….Wooooooot
She love you back – big PBO supporter – fighting the SofS vote supression in Ohio.

hopefully the church will be empty, because everybody’s busy getting out the vote for pbo!!
“Hate” filling the pews on a sacred sabbath day?…..SMH.
My update. Still suffering from Pneumonia. Decided to make my calls today to WI. Made over 145 calls. Spoke to many very friendly people who say that they are planning to vote on Tues. Left a number of messages as well. Feeling positive about WI. Peace to everyone at TOD.
Wishing you a steady and complete recovery MK.
Thanks for the great work and hope you are feeling better soon! Isn’t it great that we can do calls from anywhere and be a positive force for this campaign?
Thank you for your service and wishing you a speedy recovery
Get well soon – helping PBO is a wonderful way to recuperate – take care
Good Evening TOD Family,
Great day @ OFA.
Time to stop listening to the radio…..learned a lesson…the only poll that counts are the election polls…
Presssssssssssssss On!
yep–and i thought i was safe listening to npr!
What a lie. If R was up 6 in OH and FL, it would be reflected on TPM. It isn’t. Jesus, the media is useless. Downright dangerous.
well, in the interest of factual clarity, it must be stated that robmey is up plenty in alabama, arkansas, idaho, louisianna, texas, utah–you get the picture. but in the ‘battleground states’ the races are all for pbo or tie–none of them show robmey up big.
Correct. I will clarify- Robney is not up 6 anywhere that matters and certainly not in Floriday.
🙂 ‘anywhere that matters’–love it!
When I look at early voting the dems look to be way up in Louisiana – is it just that the dems are the main folks who vote early?
What ABC News channel was that? Was that an ABC national broadcast or an ABC affiliated local broadcast? We need to know so we can call and ask them the source of their claims. Not even the Republican friendly polls have Romney up 6 points in either Ohio or Florida.
Here’s the great segment from Bashir (includes the “Sununu is a vat of poison” true statement)
https://twitter.com/BashirLive/status/264889270622367744
CSPAN One TV will be carrying PBO and Big Dog in virginia tonight at 10:30PM
Was trying to hang in for that but now not sure I will make it and I so wanted to see the two of them together. Will have to catch the clips tomorrow.
Chipsticks, I finally found a video of FLOTUS speaking today at the University of Miami in Ohio. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Pls share the link…
Excellent!
Question, are early voting tallys published as soon as polls close Tues? what I mean is, do they count tem soon as voting is over Tuesday, & release the numbers, or do they release them county by county on Tues?
They release the total vote, not just the early vote tally.
So beautifully put, HZ!
Very well said, HZ! It’s during crisis that you get to see the true measure of a person. I think Chris Christie, faced with an immense crisis, discovered the real Barak Obama and not the right wing manufactured caricature of the President that has dominated the right wing media for the past four years.
yes, while we’re planning our celebrations, the rethugs are tearing into each other.
Which is why I’m watching a documentary on The Who’s “Quadrophenia” on Palladia.
Blimey (a good aussie word) – what is Palladia? I don’t think it exists in my world
Oh, Palladia is lovely. It’s owned by MTV (Viacom); however, IT STILL PLAYS MUSIC!! It mostly shows concerts and music documentaries.
Whooooooo are ya, oooh, ooooh.
Sorry, I couldn’t resist breaking in to song. 😳
Each of The Who’s members were geniuses in their own right. Keith Moon’s fate was beyond tragic.
Confession: I was never a fan, LL. Of them or their music. I hope we can still be friends? 😕
Sighs. I’ll add that to your list of loveable quirks.
😆 I have no clue how we get along LL – Chelski/The Who v United/Rolling Stones. 😆
Oh, love the Stones as well. I’m a man of wide musical tastes—rock, jazz, classical.
Ah, okay, maybe we can be friends after all!
picky, picky, picky.

We not only overcame a 5 point rethug lead a week back but have also slowly increased our lead now to 2.7%.
Well done jovie and other hard working OFA peeps.
Okay, Chips. I am done. The compassion this President has is just overwhelming. The tears seems to be tears of gratefulness. I do not know if they are a couple or related, but it is so powerful. Thank you.
Of all the virtues, kindness is the greatest. I feel kindness is in the bones of the first family. It really is what makes them so remarkable.
Heads up everyone:
http://theobamadiary.com/2012/11/03/heads-up-president-obama-in-bristow-virginia/
Night all.
Thank you, Jackie! Great job.
Thank you so much Jackie for all the hard work and sacrifices! It’s people like you and me who will make sure that we re-elect our President. I am so impressed with the dedication and discipline of the people working on behalf of the President to GOTV!
