Errant Email to Newt Gingrich Supporters Says ‘Obama Is Going to Win’
// An email message mistakenly sent to Newt Gingrich’s list serve this morning told subscribers that President Obama would no doubt win in 2012 and that they should be more worried about Obama’s winning in 2016.
That’s right, despite the 22nd Amendment, which limits any one person to two presidential terms, the email that went out to Gingrich’s supporters suggests President Obama would be running again in 2016, and possibly serve through 2020.
“The truth is, the next election has already been decided. Obama is going to win. It’s nearly impossible to beat an incumbent president,” advertiser Porter Stansberry wrote in the email to Gingrich supporters. “What’s actually at stake right now is whether or not he will have a third-term.” //
Trying to keep his peons riled up by extending the boogie man effect beyond 2016.
The funniest part is we’ll probably begin hearing murmurs of PBO rigging things to keep himself in the big house beyond the 2 term limit. Because, you know….you just can’t trust someone who’s come this far by using Chicago thugs tactics, lying, affirmative action, and/or Jedi mind tricks.

Now if those people try to vote in person their only possibility will be a provisional ballot, and I don’t trust provisional ballots to ever be counted. Too many excuses to reject them.
We DO have 100s of GREAT people in Ohio!!! I bet they’re ON IT. There are TONS of good, decent American lawyers working for PBO. (I’m married to one!!) Man I wish I could drop everything and go help there………..
Just read over at Huffpuff that a Senior Secret Service Agent in charge of President Obamaās security detail committed suicide earlier today. According to reports he didnāt tell investigators about an extramarital affair he had with a woman from Mexico.
Crap more unexpected sh!t this man has to deal with, because you know he takes these things deeply.
I don’t mean to sound callous, but there are people who have lost all they’ve worked hard all their lives to secure including their homes. To pull this over an affair in 2012!? I think there is more here than meets the eye.
I thought the same thing too. It’s ridiculous. God rest his soul, but seriously?…….unbelievable. Two damned babies killed in Sandy and this man kills himself over an affair? That can’t have been the only reason. Was he suffering from depression? What else could have led him down such a permanent Path? Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Most suicide survivors immediately regret the attempt, especially jumpers.

We Hold These Truths: Edward Norton’s Homespun Campaign Documentary Debuts Tonight
To support the President, the actor sought to take the spotlight off himself and put it onto Obama’s rank and file. An anti-celebrity approach to celebrity-glutted politics.
Posted Nov 1, 2012 6:11pm EDT
By the end of each election season, the spectre of celebrities holding forth on their political views and stirring up controversy with ill-considered remarks becomes almost as common as lawn signs and Uncle Sam hats.
But stepping into the campaign in support of President Obama’s re-election, actor Edward Norton has tried to venture in exactly the opposite of that well trod path. Teaming up with director Bennett Miller (Moneyball) and @radical.media, he has created an election season documentary with nary a hint of glitz, featuring, of all things, typical Americans from all walks of life talking about the core issues of what America means to them, and how those principles lead them to their Obama vote.
The seven minute film entitled We Hold These Truths, to be released online tonight, was the result of the actor’s attempt to support the campaign without making it “about himself.” Having previously made a HBO documentary, By the People, about the President, Norton remained friends with Obama guru David Axelrod, who called him in July looking to “get some filmmakers to think about creative ways to address the politics of the moment outside of the standard campaign ads and short cycle news media.”
“I was glad to get the call,” Norton said in a telephone interview Thursday. “I had been having a conversation with friends about how frustrating it was to see the conversation reducing politics to a gladatorial wrestling match.” He turned to director Miller, who had shot a series of stark talking heads pieces about the meaning of the filmgoing experience for last year’s Oscarcast; pieces Norton recalled as “best part of the show.” The pair talked about how they could make a short film that stepped away from the noise and got back to real people talking about what really motivates their vote. [More in the article here: http://www.buzzfeed.com/richardrushfield/edward-nortons-homespun-campaign-documentary-debu%5D
Yes, that’s why I switched to CSPAN one TV. It is very frustrating with these interruptions while our President is speaking. And it’s been happening on EVERY one of these links for me today.
So, this right wing conspiracy actually jeopardizes national security, because the White House is now having to release classified information in order to shoot down a stupid conspiracy. I heard an NPR show (it may be the one linked here, but I can’t listen to it right now) saying that the CIA base was a secret base, and the information about the terrorist attack was also classified.
I know that this attack broke President Obama’s heart. He tried to help. Just to be able to watch an attack in real time and to ghen have ti put up with the shady actions of some in Congress must make you almost lose your mind. This among other things let us all know that our President is trying to leave this country in a better place than what he found.
I guess Jeb Bush is tried of POTUS blaming his brother for the mess he left this economy in. Bu6t if it isn’t G.W. Bush fault, who is it? I think Jeb need to go some where and shut his freaking mouth, because it is G.W. fault.
Every time I see Jeb Bush saying those stupid words, I get livid. I don’t know why he thinks he can rehabilitate the Bush name – it’s permanently tarnished, and we’re still all reeling from the effects of that disastrous presidency. I can see Jeb trying to run with Condoleeza on a ticket – a losing ticket.
I’ve discovered that I’m not as cynical and cold blooded as I’ve often thought. For the last two weeks, I’ve been feeling good. A bit anxious– like test anxiety? That good kind of anxiety you get right before a test? It’s a natural kind of anxiety that you get even though you’ve studied everything back and forth, inside out? The kind of anxiety that dissipates once you’ve started the test and then this transcendent feeling emerges and you get a feeling like: ‘Fuck it! I’VE GOT THIS!!!!!’ So for a couple weeks now, I’ve had a bit of test anxiety, but overall, I know I’m all good because I fundamentally believe PBO will win. What shocked me though, was how much of my faith is based on my basic–surprising– belief that good triumphs over evil. I was so shocked that I really believed that. I appear to honestly, truly believe that truth will prevail. Through all the cynicism in life and in the media, I truly believe that neither Fate nor God will allow anyone but PBO to prosper in this presidential election. So though I’m in alt over that stinking bastard Husted in Ohio, I truly believe that one way or another, PBO will come out on top. Huh! Quick, somebody slap me!
“… how much of my faith is based on my basicāsurprisingā belief that good triumphs over evil. I was so shocked that I really believed that. I appear to honestly, truly believe that truth will prevail.”
I am with you Lisa. However, I have to admit that my faith is in Barack Hussein Obama – that he always knows HOW to win. I can’t say I have that faith in other Democrats. 2010 they all ran like idiots away from healthcare, etc. etc. etc. So if it was any other Dem politician with less than a 10 point lead in key states, I would be quite apprehensive.
The most reliable projections have him winning without OH which is what I;ve been focusing on for awhile. Hustad has shown he will do anything to steal this election. But both 538 and Princeton have him projected to win over 300 EV so hopefully we will not be waiting on OH. I’m with you in thinking most Americans are decent and recognize that quality in PBO. It;s easy to forget with the noise from the wingnuts but I felt the same way in 2008. We’ve got a lot of work to do the next five days but I’m moving forward with confidence.
No slapping required. My sister has been saying this since 2010. The consequences of evil winning out over good are just too dire. It cannot happen. Good must always, ultimately prevail.
I just hope they didn’t break the mold. It would be such a pity. I just know they will be comparing future presidents to this one forever. I hope someone is capable of stacking up. For the sake of the world.
Way to go, Dudette, taking pride in honest emotions! š I’ve been learning from the fine examples here in TODville. I generally keep what I feel inside, but you should have seen me dancing around when I heard the speech Mr. Pres delivered in Vegas! Delivery and content were terrific, and I’d never been one to say that’s his ‘best speech ever’ for every one. Today’s reminded me of Tweety’s tingle. š
We’ve already asked Yardarm to get going with stocking up on supplies for Tuesday, naughty mats, fainting couches, smelling salts, tissues, etc…So much too do, so little time to get this house in order before Tues. No wonder he’s easing his stress with some rum tonight – it’s overwhelming the amount of shipments he will have to make!
Anyone else notice how many Willard supporters are crazy people? So many have made the most unhinged, delirious, threatening statements ever heard during a political campaign.
Wow… just wow! Glad I never shop there! –>Home Depot Founder: Retailers Who Don't Support GOP "Should Be Shot" http://t.co/WabyZPsC
I just don’t get his humour, I guess. Sometimes, it’s a little too sharp – especially against the President and some Democrats. And there’s often a bit of emoprog misinformation. But, to each his own – we don’t all have to like the same people. Enjoy him! š
“I.Love.President.Barack.Hussein.Obama.” …. š … Chips, thank you for posting the video of his speech in Boulder..
He is simply an outstanding man, a truly beautiful human being.

I did thai tonight but love tandoori chicken. I do a mean west indian version that’s to die for!
How about an invite? Yummy.

Muy bien gracias.

That’s some audience!!!!
Watching the CBS stream and as usual they have the best play list.
I’m dancing again LunarSea – and that actually is quite a scary thing (well, for anyone who witnesses the spectacle).
Your 2-stepping reputation precedes you. Second only to your ‘diabolical’ culinary flair.
To hell with ‘the spectacle’. I’m a firm believer in dancing like no one is watching! Much more fun that way.

Iron Fist? Deal with this woman – now!
FYI – CSPAN One TV will be carrying our President live from 9PM ET.
Senator Reid was at the Nevada event.
There’s a photo of him in the last post, Anniebella.
How is his wife doing after her accident?
I thought that was her with him in the picture (in the wheelchair) but I’m not certain.
Haven’t heard anything for a while Anniebella, she was recovering from breast cancer last year so hopefully she’s winning her battle.

Standing right there next to you, Lisa.
We’re going to ace that ‘exam’ on 6 Nov š
#TrustBarack
I would have to be slapped as well. I want that lying bastard CRUSHED. I still can’t believe how hatred can blind people to their own self interest.
…..swoon…..deep sigh……
I feel ya. He’s simply the BEST!
I just hope they didn’t break the mold. It would be such a pity. I just know they will be comparing future presidents to this one forever. I hope someone is capable of stacking up. For the sake of the world.
Ah ha! Caught you admitting that swooning is soothing. š
I’m a swooning fool! No shame in my game when it comes to My President. š
Today’s reminded me of Tweety’s tingle. š
As you more or less remarked earlier, LS, we are so spoiled for any other president coming down the pike later. š
President Barack Obama is MY CHAMPION in Washington!!
Thanks for the speech in Boulder. I am fired up. Out canvasing again tomorrow!!!!
Thank YOU Cindy!
He sure has one powerful voice! Bravo PBO, congrats to all of you American neighbours. You’ve got one helluva guy backing you up there.
1st president who can turn me to mush just hearing him speak.
Wait. did I just say that out loud?!
You sure did š
Me too LunarSea, me too!!
LMAO A worthy assignment
Perks? We got perks here? Why wasn’t I informed? š
Man! You can tell POTUS gets in his squats every morning. One naughty mat for me, please.
just leave plenty of room – We’re still waiting on Yardarm’s delivery
Anyone else notice how many Willard supporters are crazy people? So many have made the most unhinged, delirious, threatening statements ever heard during a political campaign.
Obama derangement syndrome. I’m pretty sure ObamaCare covers it.
Bernie Marcus has been an asshole for many years. Can’t stand that sorry cretin!

I really dislike John Fugelsang.
He’s okay w/me. He speaks truth to b.s.
I just don’t get his humour, I guess. Sometimes, it’s a little too sharp – especially against the President and some Democrats. And there’s often a bit of emoprog misinformation. But, to each his own – we don’t all have to like the same people. Enjoy him! š
Thks. I ain’t going to party with the dude, but when I compare him to other PUNDITS I’d rather him than a Chuck Todd.
I’m with you there!
“I.Love.President.Barack.Hussein.Obama.” …. š … Chips, thank you for posting the video of his speech in Boulder..
He is simply an outstanding man, a truly beautiful human being.
One of my colleagues said today “if romney wins, I am moving to an island”, I replied that ” it is quite likely that he owns the island you move to”.
If anyone has a link to PBC’s speech today, I would gratefully appreciate if you could post it. š
