Your 2-stepping reputation precedes you. Second only to your ‘diabolical’ culinary flair.

To hell with ‘the spectacle’. I’m a firm believer in dancing like no one is watching! Much more fun that way.

Errant Email to Newt Gingrich Supporters Says ‘Obama Is Going to Win’

// An email message mistakenly sent to Newt Gingrich’s list serve this morning told subscribers that President Obama would no doubt win in 2012 and that they should be more worried about Obama’s winning in 2016.

That’s right, despite the 22nd Amendment, which limits any one person to two presidential terms, the email that went out to Gingrich’s supporters suggests President Obama would be running again in 2016, and possibly serve through 2020.

“The truth is, the next election has already been decided. Obama is going to win. It’s nearly impossible to beat an incumbent president,” advertiser Porter Stansberry wrote in the email to Gingrich supporters. “What’s actually at stake right now is whether or not he will have a third-term.” //

Trying to keep his peons riled up by extending the boogie man effect beyond 2016.

The funniest part is we’ll probably begin hearing murmurs of PBO rigging things to keep himself in the big house beyond the 2 term limit. Because, you know….you just can’t trust someone who’s come this far by using Chicago thugs tactics, lying, affirmative action, and/or Jedi mind tricks.

And besides, have you noticed? ***whispers*** he’s not one of us……shhhh

Crap more unexpected sh!t this man has to deal with, because you know he takes these things deeply.

I don’t mean to sound callous, but there are people who have lost all they’ve worked hard all their lives to secure including their homes. To pull this over an affair in 2012!? I think there is more here than meets the eye.

      • 102 lisalovesobama
        November 1, 2012 at 9:52 pm

I thought the same thing too. It’s ridiculous. God rest his soul, but seriously?…….unbelievable. Two damned babies killed in Sandy and this man kills himself over an affair? That can’t have been the only reason. Was he suffering from depression? What else could have led him down such a permanent Path? Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Most suicide survivors immediately regret the attempt, especially jumpers.

    http://thenewcivilrightsmovement.com/why-obama-endorsement-from-starbucks-ceo-who-battled-obamacare-is-a-big-deal/politics/2012/11/01/52760

“If anyone knows business, it’s Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz. ….. Schultz this year added that an ability to lead in a bipartisan fashion was a prerequisite for his support. And today, he gave that support to President Obama, citing his performance during Hurricane Sandy.”

Except – the other guy’s party pledged to obstruct any effort at bipartisanship and made it their top priority to ensure that the President failed. They even going so far that on the President’s first week while he was going to visit the Republicans to discuss the details of passing a Stimulus to recovery the economy, the GOP put out a press release vowing to obstruct the plan before they even heard it! If they want someone who will practice bipartisanship, then they’ve had that guy all along. Someone should tell him that “it takes two to tango”! I’m still glad for the endorsement, though…

We Hold These Truths: Edward Norton’s Homespun Campaign Documentary Debuts Tonight

To support the President, the actor sought to take the spotlight off himself and put it onto Obama’s rank and file. An anti-celebrity approach to celebrity-glutted politics.

    Posted Nov 1, 2012 6:11pm EDT

By the end of each election season, the spectre of celebrities holding forth on their political views and stirring up controversy with ill-considered remarks becomes almost as common as lawn signs and Uncle Sam hats.

But stepping into the campaign in support of President Obama’s re-election, actor Edward Norton has tried to venture in exactly the opposite of that well trod path. Teaming up with director Bennett Miller (Moneyball) and @radical.media, he has created an election season documentary with nary a hint of glitz, featuring, of all things, typical Americans from all walks of life talking about the core issues of what America means to them, and how those principles lead them to their Obama vote.

The seven minute film entitled We Hold These Truths, to be released online tonight, was the result of the actor’s attempt to support the campaign without making it “about himself.” Having previously made a HBO documentary, By the People, about the President, Norton remained friends with Obama guru David Axelrod, who called him in July looking to “get some filmmakers to think about creative ways to address the politics of the moment outside of the standard campaign ads and short cycle news media.”

“I was glad to get the call,” Norton said in a telephone interview Thursday. “I had been having a conversation with friends about how frustrating it was to see the conversation reducing politics to a gladatorial wrestling match.” He turned to director Miller, who had shot a series of stark talking heads pieces about the meaning of the filmgoing experience for last year’s Oscarcast; pieces Norton recalled as “best part of the show.” The pair talked about how they could make a short film that stepped away from the noise and got back to real people talking about what really motivates their vote. I’ve discovered that I’m not as cynical and cold blooded as I’ve often thought. For the last two weeks, I’ve been feeling good. A bit anxious– like test anxiety? That good kind of anxiety you get right before a test? It’s a natural kind of anxiety that you get even though you’ve studied everything back and forth, inside out? The kind of anxiety that dissipates once you’ve started the test and then this transcendent feeling emerges and you get a feeling like: ‘Fuck it! I’VE GOT THIS!!!!!’ So for a couple weeks now, I’ve had a bit of test anxiety, but overall, I know I’m all good because I fundamentally believe PBO will win. What shocked me though, was how much of my faith is based on my basic–surprising– belief that good triumphs over evil. I was so shocked that I really believed that. I appear to honestly, truly believe that truth will prevail. Through all the cynicism in life and in the media, I truly believe that neither Fate nor God will allow anyone but PBO to prosper in this presidential election. So though I’m in alt over that stinking bastard Husted in Ohio, I truly believe that one way or another, PBO will come out on top. Huh! Quick, somebody slap me!

    • November 1, 2012 at 10:17 pm

“… how much of my faith is based on my basic–surprising– belief that good triumphs over evil. I was so shocked that I really believed that. I appear to honestly, truly believe that truth will prevail.”

    • November 1, 2012 at 10:29 pm

I am with you Lisa. However, I have to admit that my faith is in Barack Hussein Obama – that he always knows HOW to win. I can’t say I have that faith in other Democrats. 2010 they all ran like idiots away from healthcare, etc. etc. etc. So if it was any other Dem politician with less than a 10 point lead in key states, I would be quite apprehensive.

The most reliable projections have him winning without OH which is what I;ve been focusing on for awhile. Hustad has shown he will do anything to steal this election. But both 538 and Princeton have him projected to win over 300 EV so hopefully we will not be waiting on OH. I’m with you in thinking most Americans are decent and recognize that quality in PBO. It;s easy to forget with the noise from the wingnuts but I felt the same way in 2008. We’ve got a lot of work to do the next five days but I’m moving forward with confidence.

No slapping required. My sister has been saying this since 2010. The consequences of evil winning out over good are just too dire. It cannot happen. Good must always, ultimately prevail.
