So Romney gets 3K in Ohio and Ryan gets 1500 in VA but GOP enthusiasm is greater than Dem enthusiasm. I hope they keep thinking that way. Specially if the polls are basing their LV screen on that assumption. It means the asskicking Romney is going to get is even bigger than I could hope for.

You know the media ought to be ashame of it self. I thought better of Brian Williams, now I see he is just like Chuck Todd, Jake Tapper, David Gregory Garbage..

Has anyone in the media alluded to the fact that TWO Romney/Ryan rallies together have fewer people than ONE Obama rally?

Wow, look at that crowd! Thanks chips for being the go-to place for everything that has anything to do with our beloved PBO!

OMG! It’s the ninja president as Bill Maher would say. He is going to add 60 years to each secret service agent going at this rate.

    • October 25, 2012 at 3:12 pm

I saw him do that and I couldn’t figure out what he was doing. He left the rope line and walked back onstage and was waving and then I guess he decided he wasn’t done with the rope line.

Maybe he has been influenced by the Boss … Springsteen does this all the time and it makes me nervous for him because we are the same age and there is no way my body would survive it.

ME TOO! Be careful Mr. President you know people get desparate when they are losing.

OT: The photo of PBO jumping off the state, the SS with the dark sunglasses and goatee, looks like a guy in one of the crowds yesterday but in plain clothes. I always look at the faces of the folks in the crowd especially the ones that are not smiling. I hope they are plains clothes SS.

It’s contagious alright! Check out how the female ex-Mayor of Lowell MA talks about women:

“At his event, Brown was bolstered by the former mayor of Lowell, Rita Mercier, who pointed to Brown’s wife and daughters as evidence of his support for women, calling them ‘three adorable good woman that are strong and vibrant and independent. You don’t get that way unless you have a strong man that allowed you to blossom.’”

[Jeebus, she needs to hide deep in Lowell! Get off my lawn!]

(Chips: I posted this on the previous thread, but as usual with my slow writing, you started a new thread, so I copied and pasted on this one. Hope you don’t mind! ;-0 )

I have a confession, TODers: ever since the first debate, I was hanging off the proverbial ledge, scared as hell that we were on the verge of a Romney/Ryan administration (AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!)). Even after the last three debates, when our guys mopped the floor with their guys, I was still worried. Why? Of course, the media narrative that Romney was gaining in the polls, the crowds at his rallies were growing, Romney was feeling more comfortable on the stump, blah, blah, blah. (What can I say — I’m a middle-aged liberal/progressive who has suffered through Reagan/Bush and Bush/Cheney.)

Well it all changed for me yesterday, for two reasons: 1.) a co-worker buddy of mine sent me this link: http://www.businessinsider.com/obama-romney-electoral-college-map-reuters-poll-ipsos-2012-10?utm_source=twbutton&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=politics; 2.) I suddenly remembered the 2006 Senate race here in Maryland between Ben Cardin and Michael Steele, and the head fake the Repubs tried to pull through the media about who was leading; I wrote about it at DKos (http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/11/01/264785/-Are-Repubs-Trying-to-Throw-a-Head-Fake-in-MD-Sen-Race?showAll=yes). And then I saw these links that boosted my spirits even further, via DKos http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/10/24/1147469/-Abbreviated-Pundit-Round-up-Quants-vs-pundits-and-the-state-of-the-race (hope you guys don’t mind this):

So armed with all these ancedotes and evidence, my outlook has brightened and my spirits are lifted, and the latest SWING STATE polls (Virginia, Ohio, Wisconsin, Nevada), plus Secretary Powell’s endorsement, have officially brought me off the ledge and back into the waiting arms of you, my ALWAYS POSITIVE TOD pragmatic progressive family. There’s momentum, all right — O’MENTUM!!!

    Let’s do this!!!!! ;-0

LOL, that sounds like a name for a GOPer! I hear you and truth be told I think most of us felt the same way as you did for one reason or another. I swear Barack Obama just wanted to scare the crap out of us and make us work hard. He really is the Michael Jordan of elections, huh?

71%Obama with 290 electoral votes and 29%TheScamArtist with 247 electoral votes right now on Nate’s site. That’s hard to reverse in 12 days.

Thanks for the link, forus50. I probably took too long in my post to say this, but all this Romney momentum stuff is nothing more than the okie-doke…and some of us Dems who head for the fainting couch at the first hint of bad news fell for it…AGAIN. We gotta stop that! O-MENTUM!!!

“A retired NSA analyst has spent several sleepless nights applying a simple formula to past election results across Arizona. His results showed across-the-board systemic election fraud on a coordinated and massive scale. But the analysis indicated that this only happens in larger precincts because anomalies in small precincts can be more easily detected. […]

When Duniho applied a mathematical model to actual voting results in the largest voting precincts, he saw that only the large precincts suddenly trended towards Mitt Romney in the Arizona primary – and indeed all Republicans in every election since 2008 – by a factor of 8%-10%. The Republican candidate in every race saw an 8-10%. gain in his totals whilst the Democrat lost 8-10%. This is a swing of up to 20 point, enough to win an election unless a candidate was losing very badly.”

WooHoo! Hello TODville. Guess what I just did? EARLY voted in Georgia! The line was about an hour wait time, but we got to be inside sitting for about half of that. We gave shout outs to 2 young first time voters. It was hard to read most folks. There were some dull looking folks there (Rmoney voters probably). I heard a couple of young people behind me, clearly Obama voters. One had a friend she was trying to expand the mind of to look at the whole picture and more than 1 issue. As we’ve said before many so called pro-life are really only pro-fetus. Why else would they have not heart to cutting off opportunity and resources for the newly born baby and the needy child, the teen struggling to remain hopeful for the life they want vs the life they have. The inequality of the justice system when it comes to criminal activites, especially for the young (minority) maile.

Anyway I added my vote to the national suppport for President Obama and VP Biden. Come on and let’s sweep those swing states, especially Ohio. Does anyone have the video to post of Rove getting the “bad” news that Ohio had gone to Obama. I wanted to show my sister last month, but could not find it anywhere on youtube, and tried to google for it too. Anybody have it to post?
