Keep THIS in mind as you watch the debate tonight! For shit sakes.

    http://thepoliticalcarnival.net/2012/10/22/mother-of-fallen-soldier-says-romney-abusive-i-cant-believe-you-havent-returned-my-call-im-a-busy-man/

Ann Romney was on The View and said that then-Governor Mitt “went to every funeral” of soldiers from the Commonwealth. Apparently, Ann had a case of Romnesia, because that wasn’t exactly true, he missed two. One was that of Marine Lance Corporal Nickolas Schiavoni who was killed by an IED in Iraq in 2005.

The following is from the Talking Politics blog at ThePhoenix.com.

    Hold on to your hat:

And in one of those cases, a Gold Star mother claims that, far from comforting, Romney left insensitive phone messages – messages that she calls “bullying” and her husband describes as “abusive.”

“I can’t believe you haven’t returned my call,” Romney said on one of the voice mail messages, according to Stephany Kern, speaking at her Westerly, Rhode Island home this past Saturday. “Here I am making a second call; I haven’t heard from you.” […]

Only Romney, she says, complained in a second message that she had not called back.

“He was completely unable to understand that a mom was not going to return his phone call, and that it wasn’t a priority for me,” she says. “I wasn’t being disrespectful. I was being a mom who was greeting the casket of her son coming home from war.”

There’s more…………if you can stand it.

I thoroughly enjoy Bashir. I wish he were on at 7:00 (6:00 central) instead of Matthews. But tonight I’m watching Stefanie Miller for an hour on Current. She has had a special at this time prior to each of the debates.

Well, I certainly agree with you and I’ll never forgive him for sitting in the United Nations and parroting the Bush lies on Iraq. But I still think his view would carry some weight — maybe I’m wrong about that. I know a couple of folks who were swayed by his endorsement in 2008 when they had serious concerns about Obama’s foreign policy/CinC qualifications. Seeing Powell in that first video reminded me of that.

    Mitt Romney……

The very guy that stands there and tells Seniors how he will protect Medicare and Social Security but can’t wait to get into office so he can end Medicare and start the voucher program leaving 86 million without insurance. Ryan even talks of privatizing Social Security.

The very guy that constantly berates China while he is still a shareholder with Bain and lines his pockets still off the back of the American worker.

The very guy that said let the car companies go broke.

The very guy that did not want us to leave Iraq and is hedging on us leaving Afghanistan.

The very guy that insulted Israels on his trip there, insulted Brits on his trip to London, insulted China and insulted Russia. And calls Russia our biggest threat.

The very guy that hid from serving his country languishing in France and kept all 5 of his healthy sons from doing anything for their country. Hides his money, hides his tax returns, hides his involvement with Bain.

Hides the fact his tax plan will raise taxes for everyone but the rich.

Hides the fact he was such a lousy Governor that he is 15 points behind Obama in his own State!

This debate should be a cake walk for Obama. Foreign Policy is probably his strongest thing as President. All i want my Prez to do is talk directly to Robot letting him know how much he don’t stand a chance debating this subject with him. He doesn’t know what it’s like being President.

“Mitt, you didn’t kill Bin Laden, I DID!!”.

“You don’t know what it’s like dealing with Foreign leaders, I DO!!”

“You said our troops should’ve stayed in irac longer, i brought them home!!”

“You said me ending the war in irac was tragic….well tell that to the the little girl or boy that gets to see their dad/mom come home”

Romney won both coin tosses according to CNN. He will be going first and last. For this last one, I really want to see PBO kick his ass–to China!

    • October 22, 2012 at 8:26 pm

Maybe he won’t bitch and moan about “President Obama went first! Waaaah! President Obama went last! Waaaaaahhh! President Obama got to say a few things in between! WAAAAAAAH!”

      Nah.

    • 122 Jeff
      October 22, 2012 at 8:38 pm

does this mean that Romney will be going first in the beginning and at the ending and PBO will be going after in the beginning and ending?

      • 123 FoxfireTX
        October 22, 2012 at 8:41 pm

Nope, apparently they do two coin tosses and Mittens won them both. He chose to open the first question and do his closing after PBO. Sucks.

I refuse to believe that 50% of this country is so racist that they can not see the good that PBO has done.
I refuse to believe that seniors are so dumb that they can’t see that their benefits are in jeopardy.
I refuse to believe that ANY woman in this country could ever bring themselves to vote for MR unless they are so subserviant to men that their brain has turned to jello.
As I stated before, I am White, a Southerner, a woman, and a senior….It is just beyond my comprehension that PBO is not loved by all…

I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT PBO WILL NOT BE RELECTED.
