Go PFWHI!! Congratulations!!!
Thanks
Zowie proud!
Indeed! I am so thankful that Chipsticks posted this clip. I work evenings-nights and I always miss these events. Thank you Chipsticks! I don’t care what any one says, President Obama is the best president in my lifetime! PEWH, Congrats on being #1.
Fired up! Ready to go!
Wowie Beth!
Hi everyone…
If you are on Facebook please like Eva Longoria and support her as she is been seriously attacked and overwhelmed with rightwing hate on her Facebook page because of her support for President Obama…
For some reason she leaves the abusive posts and lets the posters run roughshod on her…
Leave them right there for the world to see how foolish they are. Come Nov. 6th she can reply to them all. Tell them to go screw their sisters, cousins and their mothers and fathers. And don’t forget the dog..
Thats better !
YAY!!!!
Boy doesn’t he look cool in that tux?
Phoine!!
How can you not love this man??? He’s just great.
“Spoiler alert: We got bin Laden.” LOL!
Fiiinally.
LMAO @ Lawrence telling Tag he should fight him, not Obama. whew…
Very Nice.
Lawrence O’Donnell just called out Tagg Romney…ohhhhhhh myyyyyyyyy goodness!!,,,,said that there will be no Secret service men around….mercy
Ooh, Lawrence O’Donnell is mighty pissed at Taggart……!
Would love to see Lawrence rip Tagg to shreds but don’t have MSNBC channel. Hope someone posts it later or tomorrow.
Lawry going all Boston, basically said Taggrat should make his day and done on down and take a punch at Lawry. Lawry’s Boston accent was very present and he got outta his seat, walked around his desk and got in the camera’s face.
Lisa, our man Lawry made me fall in love again tonight. Loved him on the Tagg thingy tonight. About time someone stand up and make the point where they will take the heat. Like LOD said, “I did call your dad a liar, not POB.”
Watch everyone, LOD was out of his seat tonight with a message. Loved it!HZ
Hello everyone! I love love love our President!
Tell me about it.
So Lawrence challenges Taggart Romney to a duel at high noon, with no Secret Service guys to stop him. Lawrence I love you, but you need to stop reliving those youthful Boston street fighting days. Other than that, an excellent Last Word tonight.
Good night folks, remember if we just do our parts, we got this.
wheww…was worried about this race……
Me, too. I hope this trend takes us to Election Day.
woot, woot. DSCC poll is the gold standard, right ?
It’s the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee poll so Dems would call it the gold standard. 🙂 Others would say it leans Dem.
Coupla weeks back, I saw gopolitico mention it as a gold standard when it said about the scumbag allen west losing in FL.
I’m SO happy about this. She deserves it. She’s worked hard, and has supported the President in many occasions, when it wasn’t politically easy for her. I have lots of respect for her.
LOD brought out the Southie in ya face “Imma kick yer ass” tip tonite. Loved it!
Dudette9t9, LOD is the man tonight.HZ
What? HZ, have we pulled YOU over to the dark side too? 🙂
You’re supposed to conscience of the TOD house. What have we done to you? Snap out of it! Come back to us! I tell you, you’ve gotta wake up, woman! Quick somebody light a candle or somethin’… 😀 😀 😀
Lawrence O’Donnell was on fire tonight. Tagg Romney should be very afraid. Lawrence is from old school Boston.
I know, right? Don’t mess with the Southie’s. They will sweep the leg and kick you in the face while you’re on the way down.
Pres. Obama is on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart LIVE NOW.
How is it going UT? Is Stewart being an a&&?
OMG, Lawrence cannot hide his disdain for the Romneymen. 🙂
Who can? They’re all despicable.
Word
Lawrence is from MA. He knows what a fake Mitt is. Now his cowardly children are joining him. Their only contribution to America is the fact that they actively engaged in their fathers campaign.
He’s gonna be on Letterman in a few minutes too.
Damn it’s a rerun.
Great, funny but totally candid speech.
Settle down, joe. I am trying to run a staff meeting here. 🙂
Ugh. Kill me now, I’m watching Stewrat’s shitshow.
what, the rat is being disrespectful again ?
He’s being decent so far. Letting PBO say his piece.
Good, He better repent for his dickishness of the last time.
Even Larry Sabato is calling out Gallup.
Didn’t the ceo or some such head honcho of gallup attend the rethugs’ do ?
That goes for PPP too, and they really need to get the heck off of Twitter!
No shit. The good polls on Iowa and Wisconsin come out tonight and PPP no more than 3 minutes later steps all over the good news with a concern trolling tweet about how one of his polls tomorrow will be good news for Romney. WTF I tore him another P. 🙂
And it seem to me that the Republicans are using all their weapons, including these polls. I have no doubt that if these CEOs can tell their worker if they don’t vote for Mitt, they might lose their jobs, these pollsters can fix their polls to favor Mitt.
Maybe the Koch Brothers got to Gallup. I am so glad to see people are starting to question Gallup.
Fuck, when Larry Sabato punks you, you know you’re done.
How the hell does Jon Stewart not know that Romney lied at the debate when he said Pres. Obama said unemployment would be 5.4%? Ugh.
I know right? I wish PBO had said: ” I’ve never said that, muthu fuka!”
Was this after the debate? hahahahahahaha
He’s so HOT! and yet soooo cool… 😆
LOVE PBO’s killer smile! Be still my old- lady heart….
So far I am seeing a very strong BO and good questions from John Stewart, one of the most important things on the presidents message I feel was to get more dem’s elected into congress so that some of these bills will get passed and bring more jobs in the U.S.
Vote folks! Vote!
He is strong. He can take the tough questions. And the crowd loves him. He is motivating everyone who watches to get out and vote?
The question is does stew-rat asks his rethug guests such equally ‘tough questions’ ? Mostly I have seen are his fluff pieces on whoever the thug he happens to interview.
He is past his sell by date.
I think PBO probably appreciates the questions. And Stewart is shaming the MSM!
Get back to me when he stops kissing the ass of bill o’racist.
Jon is friends with Bill O’Reilly. So is Al Sharpton. However, neither Stewart or Sharpton allows for their friendship with O’Reilly to get in the way of speaking their mind. Jon kicked O’Reilly’s butt at a debate for charity here in DC. Sharpton called O’Reilly out on his show last year because O’Reilly said something very stupid and automatically expected Sharpton to back him up.
I have been over stew-rat a long long time. I don’t trust him and don’t watch him.
“The question is does stew-rat asks his rethug guests such equally ‘tough questions’ ?”
Yes, he does.
PBO was great and Stewrat was decent…… Fucking shocking about the latter.
Word x2
You’re hilarious with your “word”
😀
I agree
Yes Stewart was surprisingly decent. PBO got his policy points across.
C-Span replayed a little from earlier years – even GWB got stuck into himself in a big way. Romney just doesn’t understand humor – it isn’t in his genes – he equates bullying to comedy.
Bill Burton always calls it the way everybody sees it …
Sometime during his second term (He will WIN) I sincerely hope Pres. Obama goes on the Colbert Report. Colbert more than deserves it. He’s bloody brilliant.
I wish he’d done Colbert instead. Colbert is so much better.
He did once right? Where Colbert shaved his head?
Yes, Colbert shaved his head after Obama, in a video-taped message, told him to do so.
And actually, Stephen, his wife, and one of his head writers at the time, were present at the White House when Obama filmed the message.
Ut….Scandal tonight was it. This show is simply awesome. Love, love, love it!
I agree ut, but I don’t think he can do this show right now in all seriousness. Colbert’s character that he plays as a stupid dumbass republican would be difficult right now for PBO campaign. Alot of people don’t get Colberts character that he portrays in his show, and it could cause some issues for their campaign I feel.
Yup – I love Colbert! I hope President Obama rewards him with a visit in his second term… or two…
Smart people
Oh yeah! Get to see my favourite now Colbert! Can’t wait to see what he does with his show tonight. lol
LOL Stewart’s last question: “So we’ve been talking for 14 minutes and I’m wondering how many emails I’ve gotten from your campaign.” POTUS quick on his feet, “lol, depends on if you’ve maxed out or not.”
His bug seems to be how many emails he is getting about donation ? It’s easy asshole, just unsubscribe. When the other side is raking in citizens fucked corporate cash by busloads, this small donor thing is the one that gets your goat.
I haven’t watched the show and despite the others’ views here, I think the punk was usual arrogant self. Will not watch it tomorrow.
No, Jon was totally kidding. And if he wasn’t supporting Obama he wouldn’t be getting the emails.
I agree that Stewart’s bent is very much like the Daily Kos emoprogs of 2010 but tonight his only annoying question was about telecom security/rights which POTUS handled well. He actually asked some good questions like Letterman that allowed POTUS to outline his candidacy and reasons to vote for him in a light way that he cannot do on a typical stump speech. So it definitely serves a purpose for him to go on there to relate to young/hip and get them thinking that they maybe need to vote this year.
I hear what you are saying about not watching it but trust me you will really like it if you change your mind.
I have seen enough of his shows whining on and on about Obama campaign’s various grass root level fundraising. It’s an insult to the real people. And after the first debate, he went on a freakout while simultaneously mocking the freaking out of tweety and other klowns at msnbc. His 2010 both sides do it show was his peak stupidity. Many folks at bj call him the broder of comedy wrold and I agree with them.
Ok ok UNCLE! 🙂 However, your position on it denies you seeing POTUS on a big stage campaigning. It’s no different than saying you aren’t going to watch the debate because you don’t like Candy Crowley. The star of the debate was Barack Obama and the star of The Daily Show tonight was Barack Obama. 🙂
Oh, I don’t need a js interview to tell me how good debater and what a star he is. 🙂
Bravo, Amk! I am like you. I am truly sick of the two-faced so called Obama supporters with national megaphones! All they do is confuse people and promote cynicism. David Letterman is a comedian. He asks tough questions whenever the President appears on his show, but he respects the President and appreciates the tough reality President Obama inherited. In most cases, Jon Stewart just can’t wait to pounce on the President for any minor disagreements he may have with him. I am sorry, but I think Stewart’s desire to be accepted by Bill O’Reiley has distorted his views about the President.
Stewart isn’t desperate for approval from O’Reilly. They’ve been friends for quite some time now. O’Reilly’s also friends with Al Sharpton.
Look, I’ve had a few conservative friends in my lifetime, too and still stayed liberal. I even got into political arguments with these friends from time to time. It’s no big deal and actually, this was the way Washington worked until the GOP decided to let the Tea Party take over and turned the party into a bunch of obstructionists.
Why blame Stewart for reaching across the aisle when the Professional Left has accused Obama of doing the exact same thing?
Here’s how I look at it. If Obama trusts Stewart enough to go on his show not just once or twice, but 3 times, then I don’t have a problem with it. Yes, Stewart interviewed has interviewed Obama 3 times. The first time was via video conferencing during the 2008 campaign.
And it appears that you can’t take a joke. Stewart was kidding for pete’s sake.
Rrright.
Letterman is airing a repeat of Pres. Obama’s visit. Fun times.
Last night was another repeat. Wonder if he is on vacation.
Lawrence O’Donnell made a challenge to Tagg Romney, let’s see if the arrogant rich punk take O’Donnell up on it. Newt Gingrich got on tv and call Tagg’s dad a liar, did Tagg say he wanted to punch Newt? No he did not. What kind of parent name their kid Tagg, what a stupid ass name.
Don’t forget FLOTUS will be on Kelly and Michael show tomorrow morning. ABC at 9am.
Yes, that should be fun. Love Kelly and Michael, and Michael said that he has never met FLOTUS, so I am sure that will have a great time.HZ
Look at those sourpusses. They need to go on vacation to Costa Rica or Argentina maybe (Mark Sanford can be tour guide).
The rotten apple dosn’t fall far from the raggedy tree with the rotten guts. BUZZRD and BUZZARD JR.
LOL
The Killers are Mormon and have met Willard who apparently just LURVES their music.
Well, scratch them off my playlist.
Don’t think you can hold the fact that Willard claims to love them against them. They steered clear of politics even though Colbert tried hard to get them to say how they felt about Willard. The lead singer is so fucking hot!
Naughty mat for you! Okay, I’ll keep them on my playlist. Their music IS good.
I have voted. I am proud to have voted. I am very tired now and I think I’ll call it a day. I’ll call it Voting Day! Sweet Dreams TOD! {{{{{{Chipsticks}}}}}}
Yay! Pamela!! Pamela!! Pamela!! You DA woman!!
All the EARLY VOTERS in the house, say OW! OWWWWW!! 😀 😀 😀

Owwwwwwww! I sent in my absentee ballot in NJ on october 8th. I haven’t been on this site so much recently. I’ve been busy volunteering with my church’s festival that ran from Oct. 4th through the 7th, and making phone calls at my local OFA/State Democratic headquarters for at least 2 hrs and watching the debates. I have recently started to make calls to get volunteers to sign up for a shift in our last 4 1/2 days to GOTV. I plan on being there most days from now on to election day.
Thank God I’ve signed up for emails! Chips and TOD congratulations on reaching 14 million hits!
Go Pamela
Thank you Pamela!!!! Rest well, friend.
(((((((( Thank you Pamela))))))))) Love you.HZ
The lead singer of The Killers is sexy as fuck!
Oh come. If he’s a Repub, still sexy?
I love me some Brad Pitt, but if tomorrow dude said, “know what I’m going Red”. He’d be forever only moderately attractive after that. Sorry. I have my standards! 😉
How do you know he’s a republican? Where’s the link?
Misread previous comment. Okay, I’ll stand down… sheesh, you REALLY like this dude. 😀

Yes, but what about his BRAIN? 😉
Lisa,
Brandon does have a very sexy mouth. And singing voice, not so much talking voice.
http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/2011/10/17/brandon_flowers_of_the_killers_i_m_a_mormon.html
You had me at “sexy mouth.” —- I couldn’t care less about his talking or singing. # MaleSexualObjectification
I’m with you, Dudette! Whatever’s going on in the brain has some input into the level of sexiness on the outside.
I didn’t see the entire group at the Alfred E. Smith Dinner, but to me it looks like a chauvinistic group of old white guys who like to play dress up and think they are important. I t merely feeds the pride of those throwing the dinner. I don’t blame FLOTUS for not going………she’s too smart to be there, and PBO doesn’t need her to keep him civil!!! He has such grace. I bet he’s glad that’s over. He has IMPORTANT things to do!
Yes, he was of course GOOD on Jon Stewart. Stewart’s questions were fine, and PBO turned them to his own advantage. The audience LOVED the president!!! He made some very good points too. I still think most reporters could learn a lot about interviewing by watching the “comedians.”
I am glad to note that I’m not the only one that dislikes Jon Stewart. The guy is so fake with his liberalism nowadays it seems like his ratings are slipping bad and he wants a repub back in so he can make $$$.
The guy needs to shut it.
He even joked with PBO about millionaires like him paying more taxes. I think most of the MSM fall into that category.
I hate to disapoint you, Jeff, but Jon’s ratings are pretty solid. So much so that Jay Leno is endanger of losing his “King of Late Night” title. Sorry, but Jon will not be shutting up any time soon.
Alright as much as he pisses me off with his mostly meandering, uninformative blog commentary and tweets, I gotta post this:
Jeff, I agree. I just don’t get it why he keeps winning the Emmy awards. He is loud, rude and very phony. Not funny at all.
That’s my opinion.
Because he calls out the GOP like a Jedi Master: It’s 11 minutes you won’t regret. Sorry it’s in three parts. It’s worth it. You will cheer.

Sorry, long but important. Found this posted on Dashboard and thought that it was important to read and pass. I’ve asked for the link to this in the Denver Post….
This needs to go viral. Please pass it along. Mirkin is a professor
of psychology at Lasell College in MA.
Romney in Mass.
Wanted to share with you the column I sent to the Denver Post
(Colorado is a swing state and virtually tied),
Here I am, a resident of Massachusetts listening to my former Governor
speak convincingly and with seeming conviction at the Denver debate.
I was startled by my Déjà vu experience and by the assumptions held by
my out-of-town friends about Mr. Romney’s governorship. So, as an
editor and author of articles and texts about social and political
contexts, I wanted to reach out to my distant neighbors in Colorado
and share my understanding of Mr. Romney’s governorship and the
implications for the Presidency. Massachusetts is known as a liberal
state, but we often vote for Republican governors, and the three
governors who immediately preceded Mr. Romney were Republicans. Mr.
Romney was a one term governor who left office with a 31% approval
rating, the 3rd lowest in the entire country. What does our
experience in Massachusetts say to the country?
Mr. Romney claims to have experience reaching across the aisle. Maybe
he did do some reaching, but not much of it went toward the Democrats.
In his first two years of office, he vetoed legislation at more than
twice the rate of Republican predecessor Governor Weld. Governor
Romney had a record 800 vetoes (most of which were overturned,
sometimes unanimously). One example is when the legislature provided
a budget amendment to stop contracting with companies that outsource
state work to other countries. Governor Romney vetoed the provision.
This meant that he supported outsourcing jobs at the expense of U.S.
workers. He also started a huge campaign to unseat Democratic
legislators, but failed and ended up with even fewer Republican seats
than before he took office.
Governor Romney correctly claims that Massachusetts rose to #1 in
education—but it was based on former Governor Weld’s education reform
plan. Governor Romney moved in the opposite direction–he vetoed bills
that would have strengthened preschool education.
However, the issue is not so much how he voted, but that Mr. Romney
won the governorship by presenting himself in one way, as a social and
fiscal moderate (some saw him as a social progressive), and by the end
of his single term, he had acted in an entirely different way. He said
during his campaign that he favored stem cell research and then vetoed
a bill to fund it. He argued for a lower minimum wage than the state
legislature ended up passing (over his veto). He vetoed a bill funding
hate crimes prevention, and took back money approved by a former
Republican governor for a bullying prevention program. He denied all
requests for commutations and pardons, including one from a soldier
serving in Iraq whose was convicted at age 13 for a BB gun incident.
He vetoed emergency contraception. He raised many fees in my
state—even quadrupling the gasoline delivery fees.
Governor Romney certainly approved some pieces of legislation that I
did support but that does not change a major problem: Mr. Romney
re-created himself and changed his positions during the first
Presidential debate in your city because he must sound more moderate
in order to win the independent vote. After that, all bets are off. We
in Massachusetts know all about that. We elected a governor expecting
him to be one thing and then he did something totally different and
got on the national stage. He entered the governorship with a 61%
approval rating and left with an abysmal 31% and with many of us
scratching our heads and wondering whom we elected. The difference
between then and now is that you have Mr. Romney’s speeches and
positions from this past year and the contradictions during the
debate. You can get nonpartisan information from factcheck.org. And,
you now know what he was like in Massachusetts. So, I hope the country
doesn’t have to go through what Massachusetts went through. Regardless
of your political beliefs, this constant turning into something we
didn’t vote for is no way to run a state, never mind a country.

ok Desertflower, so let us know the link for this article Desertflower. Will check back tomorrow…have a nice evening all & get some rest.
I will keep checking dashboard and bring it here when I see that they have posted it…:)

Scott Brown is tied to these guys….they raised $12 million for him…..moderate my dying ass
I think this story needs some disinfectant in the form of sunlight. Twitter warriors, new mission!!
Another damn good reason to re-elect PBO, we have got to have election/voter reform in this country. This sh*t is way out of hand.

I ain’t leaving. I’m gon’ stay here & take my em-ffin’ country BACK! 🙂

I was trying to show some funnies on twitter but I screwed it up. Its just for a lite laugh.
Have a good nite all.

Wow! What’s my excuse! After 20 calls I am usually ready to give up; especially when I have to listen to hostile tea baggers who claim to be Democrats but hate the President.
Go suck eggs, PPP and Gallup!
Great illustration of the National Debt breakdown…
GM everyone. I am glad that Bill Press is devoting parts of his show to the unreliable gallup polls, and telling folks who are panicking to chill. I was once again shocked that Rachel mentioned the gallup poll yesterday on her show.
Rachel weren’t the only one to mention Gallup, it’s time for these people to question these polls and their methods.
Even CBS was questioning Gish Gallop’s numbers this morning, but not enough to stop showing that crap.
she was peddling or trashing gallup?
I wonder have the big bad Tagg responded to Lawrence O’Donnell yet? If Tagg is going to swing at someone for calling his dad a liar, he will be swinging for the rest of his life. Because a heck of alot of people think Tagg’sdad is a bold face liar, and I am one of them.
I listen to ex-President Clinton speech in Ohio yesterday and he was real good. He spoke the truth like only he can do.
Including Newt!
One line which stuck with me is when Clinton said were he comes from if someone have your back when you are down, you have their back when they need you. It was something like that. But I hope the people of Ohio don’t forget, which one help their state from losing many of jobs.
FLOTUS will be on Kelly and Michael this morning, don’t forget.
Well finally it’s discussed about WHO is being polled….Morning Joe….it was asked WHO actually answers their phone anymore….old people…I know, I’m old but even I don’t answer my phone and use caller ID….
68 Nobel Prize-winning scientists endorse President Obama’s science policies
http://www.americanprogressaction.org/issues/technology/news/2012/10/17/41914/68-nobel-prize-winning-scientists-endorse-obamas-science-policies/
Some of the scientists are our own Bobfr colleagues. How exciting to be in great company also.
Wow!
GM jovie. Any party break-up in NC?
Not yet. Heavy in Charlotte, and Raleigh!
Thx jovie. They are typically strong dem areas, aren’t they ?
Charlotte is in Mecklenberg county – which went to Obama (62% to McCain’s 37%) in 2008.
Raleigh is in Wake county – which also went to Obama (51% to McCain’s 48%) in 2008
Excellent. Thanks hf.
FIRED UP! VOTE!
Okay tuned my absentee ballot over a week ago. Checked on line and they have received it. On line they say it cost 65 cents to returned the ballot. I enclosed mine in another envelope and it cost $1.30. So please check with your local USPS for mailing cost.
I’m here in FL and we especially need to encourage everyone to vote early and to vote absentee. You can go to the Supervisor of Ekections office and cast an absentee ballot now. The wait in line on November 06 will be very long. The ballot is three pages legal size front and back.
Gallup polling is fishy. They were considered reputable before now. They are creating a narrative to support a potential theft of votes. This is why we must vote early and we must vote in great numbers.
On iPhone and can’t half see, sorry about the typos. Gee. Elections. I turned and not tuned.
Way to go Mae.
The president is scheduled to deliver remarks at a campaign rally at George Mason University. According to a campaign statement, he will “discuss the clear choice facing women in this election and his commitment to strengthening economic security for women and their families and giving women more control over their personal health care decisions.”
Is that today?
Yes it is today at 11:45AM Eastern Time. CSPAN will be carrying it live
http://www.c-span.org/Campaign2012/Events/Pres-Obama-Campaigns-in-Fairfax-VA/10737435145/
Excellent. That shows the voters’ commitment to both the dems and PBO.
It just killed Charles Todd and David Gregory to have to report the good news for Obama on the NBC polls on Ia. and Wi. so they both wrapped up their reports on Today with accusatory words about Libya. Todd looked especially smug and hateful as he said, “What did he know and when did he know it?” and “You can bet this is going to come up at the debate Monday.” Todd is so transparent in his personal animosity toward Obama. He is unpalatable—-in every way.
It’s these media pundiots who gave Willard the idea to try to use Libya to embarrass the President on Tuesday. Unfortunately for Romney, President Obama is aware of the MSM’s talking points that they receive from the RNC/Rove/Koch and he will will waiting for them come Tuesday.
ROTFLMAO!!
For those of you who still brave Old Orange from time to time, Jimmy Kimmel did an experiment asking people on the street who they thought won the “First Lady Debate” (Michelle Obama or Ann Romney). Now of course, there’s no such debate, and YET people responded as if they had seen the First Lady Debate.

Please note that only 1 out of the 4 people he showed thought that Miss Ann had won – and her reason for thinking so was just plain ridiculous!
Mooooooooorning everyone:
