Let’s not forget this little priceless gem!

    http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/10/16/romney-reveals-tax-plan-details-at-debate-ill-pick-a-number/

After months of refusing to explain how he would implement his tax plan, Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney on Tuesday told a debate audience that he would just “pick a number” to determine how many deductions Americans could take.

Looks like he just proved that his tax plan is bogus…

Hey, can someone scoop me on the “veiled dig at single mothers”?

      • October 17, 2012 at 4:14 am

Apparently, during a question on how to regulate automatic weapons, Mitt made mention that if young people got married before having kids that there would be less criminals and people brandishing AK47s. So, the conclusion then is that single mothers are the cause of increased gun crimes in the United States.

There were several moments at the beginning of the debate when Willard started to encroach on PBO’s personal space and PBO got right back up in Willard’s face and I actually thought that it would come to physical blows. It was sooooo awesome! Then when Willard realized PBO wouldnt back down, but instead got into Willard’s face, Willard stopped getting up and trying to physically confront PBO. He just sat his ass down like a cowed little muppet.

I think Mitt’s win the other night was a total fluke and they thought they could replacate it again, thinking Obama is a punk.
They underestimated him. (as many people do time and time again)
        Foolish.

mittbot’s “win” in the first debate was a media creation after the fact, in my opinion. president obama clearly won the first debate to me and most people i know, and though i’m working on the road at the moment and didn’t see a second tonight of the debate or the coverage (still trying to figure out what this “binder” thing is about), looks like tonight was also successful in stage 2 of the rope-a-dope. debate scorecard: our president – 2, mittbot – 0, especially when one keeps in mind the long game and how president obama is a master of this. forward!!!

          • October 17, 2012 at 5:35 am

I agree with you 100%! Mitt’s “win” was a media creation! Obama so clearly won that first debate as well as this one!

When I watched the first debate I thought the talk would be about Romney’s lies and his weird facial expressions and right there alone it would be a loss especially due to past debates being lost by sweat on the face and the like. What I saw was Romney’s eyes almost crying atleast tearing up and he wiping his upper lip with a handkerchief plus a lot of head turning and physical movement almost like ADHD. I was surprised that PBO looking down too much and not being animated enough was the story. Not pushing back on the lies seemed to be a legitimate complaint but then there were so many lies how could anyone push back and still tell their own story? Even in the second debate there were still lots of lies he had no time to address.

yes LisalovesObama. I loved that. I especially loved when PO gave Willard the raised eyebrow right before he told him to go ahead with his comment. That look . . . I have to find a pic of it. Willard knew, he meant you are about to get your ass kicked on National TV so you can go ahead or take the consequences. lololol Willard saw it and backed up. lolol he met the “shyte got real” at that moment and after that Willard NEVAH got back up in his face. hahahahahahahaha

Too many people buy into the lie that Obama is just “lucky” or been given handouts and never had to work for anything. They think he’s dumb and that the only reason he got votes was because of his skin color.

Yep, they still haven’t truly figured out what a bright, hardworking and incredibly dedicated person our president is. Both on the right AND the left.

One of my favorite sayings is:
Luck is hard work followed by opportunity.
Our President is one of the hardest working people I have ever witnessed in my life.
My daughter is also in that category.
I gave that saying on a plaque to my oldest daughter after she spent all her high school years working hard to keep a straight A average with accelerated classes, leadership roles including the president of the National Honor Society, participating on sports teams, in church youth groups and being an alter server, starting and mentoring a high school tutoring club as well as working in a pizza parlor in the evenings. She filled out every possible college academic scholarship application including writing a stack of essays that was very impressive. Another words, she gave up her senior year social life to work hard for scholarships. When she received many prestigious scholarships she was annoyed to hear again and again how “lucky” she was. People actually thought it was a matter of luck. The sad part was she had lost her Dad unexpectedly that year in January and some thought she got the scholarships due to sympathy.

I was already very proud of my President, but after his performance tonight, really could care less about what the MSM pundits say about him. Tonight, the President showcased what he is all about. He is a steady, smart, and compassionate person. Unlike Mitt Romney, he has absolutely no need to fake who he is. In three Wednesday morning interviews, Vice President Joe Biden defended his own debate performance last week, saying that he wasn’t laughing at Rep. Paul Ryan — just his answers.

“It was unbelievable some of the responses I was getting,” Biden said on NBC’s “Today.”

“He’s a good man. He’s a solid guy. I like him,” Biden said about Ryan. “I wasn’t laughing at him. I was laughing at some of the answers that were coming forward.”

Biden drew some criticism and mockery for his debating style — where split screen shots showed the vice president chuckling and cackling during many of Ryan’s answers.

“I wasn’t going to sit there and, you know, let all these assertions go by that just simply were not accurate,” Biden said in a separate interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America.

“It’s fascinating how Paul Ryan — Congressman Ryan — has run away from the Ryan budget and his voucherization of Medicare,” Biden said on CBS’ “This Morning.”

VP Biden was just on GMA, CBS This Morning and Today Show and he was AMAZING. Stood up for his guy and said he is looking forward to the foreign policy debate.

He said that after the first debate, Pres. Obama sat down with him and they talked at length and after the VP debate, Pres. Obama again sat down with him and they had another long talk. He said he watched Pres. Obama prep for this second debate and he (VP Biden) was smiling the whole time because he knew just like the first time, the President had this. You are so right. Senator Obama from his Iowa interview not verbatim: “…I’ll always give them the opportunity to meet me halfway. But when they try to take advantage of that…I’ll crush them.”

Good thing you didn’t put an exclamation on it! Cuz if you did the ballot might have been thrown out for marking outside the lines. Voter fraud you know! LOL

    A brilliant “teaching moment”.
Pay attention, Willard, stop lying and you might learn something.

I thought the President was excellent last night. He won, because he came with facts and he told the truth. My daughter watched with me, and she said: “how many five point plans does Romney have.”. LOL! Two debates down, one to go and we got an election to win! OBAMA/BIDEN 2012!!

We now know that the old adage that “debates don’t matter” is no longer true. With YouTube, Twitter and blogs and the internet in general –where there is a huge network of conversation going on in real time – it creates a whole different dynamic than the days of just reading about it in the morning paper or hearing audio portions of it the next day on the radio. Young people are totally dialed in. “Debates DO matter” is the new mantra.
