This was done in response to the jobs report which showed a significant unemployment drop of 7.8%. Just keep watching. The other is about to drop shortly on Mittnocchio.

We can hardly expect anything else. They have to change the narrative for their own people to get them fired up and something other than despondent. They know they are running out of time and have to keep up fund-raising and get people to volunteer. I think this helps us, too. If people are worried about the President, then they’ll volunteer. I like to keep that very important $181 MILLION for one month. Top that, GOP.

Lookit. Tell them to save their energy for a souls to the polls event. Ask them if it looked like PBO was upset about the debate, If they really want to know what went down, listen to VeepJoe’s response immediately following the debate. It is made of all kinds of glorious madness. PBO did just what he wanted and needed to do. Now PBO can kick mittnocchio’s melanin-deficient cellulite ridden flat ape ass deep into a black hole at the next debate; a TOWN HALL style event.

Bobfr, It’s so wonderful to see you back on tweeter waging a campaign for TRUTH! I knew they wouldn’t silence you for long. By the way, I think the other relentless campaign you waged about donations to OFA was a major factor in the earth shaking fund raising numbers for September. I know It inspired people like me to dig deeper and donate. For that, I thank you for your constant inspiration. We are almost to the finishing line and we can’t afford to lose your voice.

      • October 6, 2012 at 9:46 pm

Thank you, nath. My hope is they restore my original account because of the partnerships formed with so many followers and those I followed because it would enable me to be more effective in supporting PBO and Dems. But, at least I’m able to stay at it for the time being.

You are very generous regarding any small contribution I may have made. I’m in awe of what each TOD community member did to create OFA accounts and fund raise for PBO and Dems and of all those who, like you, certainly dug much deeper this time to help PBO.

Hello all. Have been lurking. At our daughter’s and celebrating granddaughter’s 2nd birthday tomorrow.

Found this on my FB page few minutes ago and have to share. http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2012/sep/30/chris-peck-what-obama-didnt-see/. I remember this young man. I remember so well this entire event and how moved I was by this group of young people and, of course, by our awesome President!

I’ll keep lurking, but not posting until we get back home.

Looking forward to hearing the story of debate night, as you had said you would be on the road. I ended up watching, as I felt I could not let PBO stand without me, after all he does for us. It was FLOTUS email that tilted my view. Turned the sound off as soon as it was over, turned the telly off 15 minutes later. Have fun at the party, and write soon! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • October 6, 2012 at 10:07 pm

Hey Pamela, We did watch it, but not really “together.” I was on the treadmill in the Fitness Room for first 35-40 minutes. We stayed at a Country Inn & Suites so had two TV’s in two separate rooms. Hubby was feeling lousy but was “sort of” watching/listening while being in bed and also working his Sudoku puzzles. Guess you missed my quick note Wednesday afternoon. We attempted to have a political discussion shortly after getting on the road Wednesday morning. Sadly, he is one of the (many) close-minded, authoritarian Republicans—-knows EVERYTHING and talks over me and since he knows everything and his opinion is absolutely right, no need to offer any facts to him. It’s not just PO he is so opposed to. ….it’s the policies of the Democratic party. Very sadly, some of the things he said was very close to what Romney/Ryan say—-it’s the makers and the takers and he sees MUCH of our country as takers. I asked if he sees the country teetering on the edge of the cliff today like it was 4 years ago at this time. He said, “I think we’re worse.” He believes PO’s policies are destroying the country……again the “takers” and the only reason Dems expouse to the policies they do it to get votes. Sound like anyone else we know?? I asked if PO’s/Dems policies do NOT destroy the country; if things continue to improve (employment, stock market, foreign policy successes, etc.) will he be willing to admit he was wrong. I pointed out that the truth ALWAYS comes out and used as example weapons of mass destruction/Iraq War. He had no answer…….tried changing the subject.

Is it stressful? Yes! But, I know I am one of many people in this “mixed marriage” situation. Thankfully, our daughter and son-in-law (officer in the Navy) are huge PO supporters. Hubby even has to ride in daughter’s car with Obama stickers all over the back window! ๐Ÿ™‚

Delurking to let you know Pamela, I ended up watching too. Had to keep muting Robme so I could make it through without destroying my computer monitor. Took a couple of days for my blood pressure to go down after the “liefest” and then reading reaction of some here @ TOD in full panic about PBO being PBO instead of playing Mittiful’s game. PBO’s counterpunch has already started and watching it unfold is going to be a thing of beauty. >F > O>R >W > A > R > D !!!

We were brave and loyal! I frightened my kit several times with yelling at Myth, his lying was SO blatant! Poor LiddleTing, she kept running away, but then came back while I was purring for PBO, then Myth came on again with his ridiculous performance, I yelled again, she took off again, so I finally got up to do chores while Myth spewed, came back to PBO, but was really done about 15 minutes before the end. It was clear to me that PBO did what he had to do: he got the facts out, he called it on what has been achieved, and he showed his true and natural intelligence and good breeding. When the blog started heating up, I got off. Anyway, I was tired! I think we did well to support him. I don’t have the same issues with future debates, I will watch them, with iPad in my lap, and TOD all around me! Chipsticks rocked the night, didn’t she? ๐Ÿ™‚

Interesting article – but it neglects the fact that President Obama HAS seen those streets run by gangs and violence. He lived there. He was a community organizer in a neighborhood not very different from the young man in the article. He knows. That’s what motivated him to become a lawyer, a state Senator, a US Senator and President – because he knew he had to get as high up the ladder that he could so he could actually effect change. That’s is motivation. To make a better world for kids like the one in the article who deserve so much more.

theo, you hit the mark with your statement about PBO’s motivation to become President. That is what struck me the most about him when reading his books. It seemed at each turn he was motivated to go to a higher position due to being able to help more people. That is so unlike most politicians who are out for themselves.

Now there was a good rant ruined by white guy this or that. It’s stupid to inject race into reaction to a debate. The NAACP guy on MHP show said similar stuff as those “white” guys. Their over reaction was wrong, granted. But that has nothing to do with them being white or expecting “their” black president to do it their way. Just silly. I heard the same harsh criticism of the president’s debate tactic in my barbershop and there wasn’t a single white person there. Injecting race here is stupid no matter where it comes from. What’s more accurate is the testosterone high that makes lotta guys just wanna kick ass and win. Guys, black or white, go into frenzy when their football team doesn’t win. Just listen to call ins to sport radio on Monday morning. There’s always a quarterback who’s getting torn apart. And the next Sunday there will be full support and hope for him. Trotting out race nonesense ruins good arguments.

Why do we never see pictures of the “crowds” at Romney rallies – yet another way they lie – the number of supporters are just made up.

      • October 6, 2012 at 10:08 pm

I’ve seen them through BuzzFeed’s tweet. You’re not missing anything. Media is impressed sometimes because Romney doesn’t draw big crowds. When they are larger than usual, they are in awe.

  22. October 6, 2012 at 9:51 pm

Hello everyone. I went to phone-bank at a DNC office this afternoon. Made a lot of calls but unfortunately most people
were not home. I had three very enthusiastic PBO supporters however, who love him to pieces and can’t wait for Nov 6.
One of my calling lists was from the Latino outreach group. I can tell that the majority that I talked with were firmly PBO supporters.

Not many volunteers were in the the office today. The reason however was a good one . The vols who arrived earlier had gone
out to the street fair to hand out fliers and register voters. The leader of the group told me when he got back that they had registered
sixty people in the short time they were out. So the ground game is going strong. We keep marching. Every little bit helps.

Now here’s the real reason for the shift in the WI polls, and I’m betting it has nothing to do with the debate and everything to do with the “Hampton University race speech” video that was pushed in the MSM and pounced upon by the likes of Jake Tapper, etc.

The media happily used the debates to help these closeted racists find a convenient excuse…that excuse will not hold up very long…

When clicking on an article the other day I saw a sidebar news article that said something like 5 states were discontinuing the verification system at their polls. I didn’t click on that article since my computer was getting slower and slower and assumed if there were any big new actions being taken at the voting polls I’d read about it here or see in on Rev Al or Rachel’s show. Nothing! Now I wonder what that was all about?

Thanks for everyone’s feedback on Jeff Gauvin.

Here is another spirit-lifting article, posted today, a little after 3 p.m. http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/10/06/us-usa-campaign-poll-idUSBRE8931E420121006

    Also, too: Got a concern/question:

Ever since January 2008, when I first discovered ( hangs head in shame) Barack Hussein Obama, I have thought about him every day. In the morning, between study and other duties, in the morning and in the evening. He is in all my prayers. Never far from my thoughts.

I have been concerned about this, because I know he is only a man, and I know better than to worship any human being. It’s something about this man, though, which has affected me as no other person I have ever known. It frightens me and concerns me.

Am I just an obsessive person? Why am I so “burdened” with this man? When hard times hit him, I feel hit. When he makes a mistake, I am protective of him. When he does well, I am proud of him. When people attack him, I absolutely hate it.

I cried when I thought he had lost the health-care battle; I was filled with anxiety for him during the oil-well leak and explosion. I can’t watch certain pundits, or read certain political writers for fear they will say something negative about him.

I was a nervous wreck while waiting for the SC decision on health-care, I was depressed Thursday morning after the debate, not because I was disappointed, but after seeing how he was attacked. I could not sleep Thursday night for alternately fretting and praying about the jobs report.
I missed an important meeting because I was too tired from the sleepless night to remember how to get out of bed, much less haul my butt out to a meeting.

I screamed with absolute joy when the report came out, praising God and offering thanksgiving on behalf of us who are rooting for this man.

This is the only place I can go to share these thoughts. I can stand being told I’m crazy by people who seem to love him too.

So am I crazy? Do I need to try to dis-engage? Does this sound like an unhealthy obsession, or am I truly carrying a soul burden for this man?

There is a saying in Christian circles that says: Be thankful for whatever makes you pray. That’s me and my Barack Hussein Obama- I can’t stop thinking about him or praying for him.

To me he is a most unusual, once in a life time person, and that barely describes him. Am I crazy? Please respond, as I really am questioning my sanity.

Eve, I can assure you you are not insane. He is such an important part of my daily life as well. I pray for him, I defend him, I even get mad at him at times…LOL. It’s like having a relationship with someone you don’t personally know and does not at all know you. It is because PBO is special. I myself don’t care what people think of me. I don’t consider myself obsessed—I simply care about him as a decent, caring human being that he is. And since I am AA, I feel what he goes through with extreme racism. Every attack on him for his race, I take as an attack on me, my son, my parents. Yes, this is personal for me. Please stay engage as he needs every good vibe and prayer going for him. At this very moment, his life is endangered and will be so even after he leaves office. For someone to put his life on the line for me, I owe him.

Thanks EDP4BHO. I feel the same. I am AA too, and I am especially sensitive to the slights and the attacks. But I am not like this because he is black; I am like this because of the way he is. Michael Steele, Allen West, Herman Cain and others like them only inspire disdain. I can cut Michael a little slack because he is not quite as crazy as others, but the brother could use some therapy for being a republican. Yes he will never be safe again: We all owe him big time, black, white, brown, yellow and red.

Eve, you are not alone. There is a reason why this blog is thriving. Because people feel a unique connection to this President and are interested in what he’s doing, where he’s going, what songs he likes, what books he reads, etc. We genuinely care about our President. And it’s more than just a celebrity-type infatuation. It’s something far more profound – something spiritual as you and others have indicated.

As I always ask half jokingly – what are we going to do in 2017?

Eveingeorgia, I sat here and read your comment, and I was weeping like a baby because you have shared your heart with your family here, and so many of us feel exactly the same way about POB.

I give thanks to Chips and this beautiful haven. I am old in my years, and I have been blessed to see so much in this world. My dearest and most beautiful and precious person has left me here to live out my life to always give honor and joyfulness to a Higher Being that I have never seen, but have felt a presence in my personal life that has led me to a spiritual connection to what I call, God’s goondess of spirit in my life. I can’t explain it, and I do not try to explain it, but it is real for me. I do not intrude on anyone’s space with it. It is my peace, and try hard to respect others private space of peacefulness.

You have described your story exactly like mine and my best friend whom I have known for 47 years. We are prayer partners and everyday we pray for our leaders, POB and VPBiden. Ofcourse, there are so many others included in those prayers. I have in my music/room/library three photos. My mother’s my brother’s and my president. When I go into that room every single day, I say” Good morning, mama, good morning (title of my brother which I can’t say here because of safety reasons) and good morning Mr. President. I open up my shades with a favorite verse and the second shade with a second verse. I feel peace in that room.

Eve,, there are days when I just cry like a baby in prayer and meditation for POB. Really. I have been hurt in my spirit because someone has said something that is a lie about him. I cry out for his protection and my brother’s, and I pray for wisdom to be given generously to the president and my brother.

I stay awake reading exccellent books on POB, his mother, his father(not trash) and I ask for wisdom to understand how POB is trying to do his job that he promised us he would do. I cry out parts of Psa. 37 and weep like a baby for it to come true because of all of the hate and vile things that are thrust at POB. I pray for VPBiden and Dr.Jill and FLOTUS.

Then I will pray for specific things concerning our nation, unemployment numbers, everything. I will confess to all of you, I have been praying for the jobs numbers to come to a 7.0 then I went to 6.5 and finally to anything Lord in the six%. Well, Friday, I called my best friend in WA., and I was crying and yelling loudly over the phone because we both had agreed in our spirits for the numbers to come down before the election to show these people that there is something in our space that is greater than they are and it will come for the good of people in due time. Now most people will think that I am obsessed and plain and simply crazy. I am not, and you are not. But as you said, POB is something special in our time and for our time. He is a beautiful gift and like minds and spirits will gravitate to his spirit.

I am downstairs some mornings barely making it to prepare my tea of my green coffee for my gut, and I am crying because my heart just fills up from the pain that I am carrying for our president. Then I put on my music and light my candles to help me bring in the goodness of a spirit into my space just to get through the day to get my committments done. No, you are not crazy or alone.

But Eve, I do know this for sure, when I pray, meditate, play my music(well selected), put my candles, go outside and water my plants on the patio and pray while I am peacefully moving into a better space; I know that that is making me stronger in my spiritual life and my “human goodness” life of what my beautiful mother taught me and my brother and sister: “treat others like you want to be treated, lift others who are in need up, pray often, sing a song of joyfulness for your life and others, and always, always, always see some good in someone and try to make that even sweeter for them, if you can.”

So please do not feel strange, weird, or like you are crazy, just feel the honor of becoming a stronger person because you are praying, coming together with your TOD family of decent and good human beings led by one of the most beautiful people that I have met in the last few years,Chips.

This is a beautiful gift that none of us could say we would be experiencing eight or ten years ago. Right? But look where we are, and God knows we will Never come this way again. So live what you are living, feel peace and goodness about it, come here with us, feed yourself with words that you can rely and trust to carry you through the day. Make it a quote, a scripture, a prayer, a good thought going out to the space to carrying POB, FLOTUS, VPOTUS and Dr. Jill, the entire Cabinet, our Military and all of its Sec., and Directors.

You are in a space that is good. Take in the love within your space and do not allow the enemy to get you scared or discourage you. Live, speak, walk, and talk with assurance that this is the time for you to live these moments with POB and his team for a Higher glory to help millions of people for good things in their lives.

(((((((((((((((((( I send you hugs and joyfulness from my home and space to yours))))))))))))))))HZ

I think this is an unique connection also. I think of this as a connection through the heart and mind since all of us are blind to what each other looks like. In some cases I do not even know if the poster is male or female let alone age, race or class. It goes without saying that our love for PBO is what binds us. It is beyond superficial political stands it is about who he is in his heart, his real motivation and his desires. It is about his caring for us, trying to help us not just win our vote. He has taught us to be our own best advocators just as he did so many years ago in Chicago when he taught the community he was organizing how to help themselves.

You are not alone. My hubby has given up on getting me “completely back” for as long as Pres Obama remains a public figure. We simply came to an agreement that he needs to give me “space” to support PBO. I too have wondered if it is healthy to be this committed to this one man. I rationalize that he is a special leader who will not betray us. Ever. And I’m supposed to cherish skepticism as a pointy-headed academic. Yet I too can’t help it. Truly I am an Obamabot. Why is it that people who passionately support President Obama are expected to question their sanity? No one questioned the sanity of those who passionately supported President’s FDR, JFK, Ronald Reagan or even George W.Bush. Like you I think President Obama is an exceptional human being, but my assessment of him is based on rationality and not on some nebulous obsession. That’s just me. But I definitely respect people who have a greater spiritual connection with President Obama that explain their passionate support of him.

      • 173 Eveingeorgia
        October 7, 2012 at 12:20 am

Eveingeorgia, I totally Understand your feelings about President Obama! My point is that your spiritual connection with President Obama has absolutely nothing to do with your sanity. I am sure people who passionately supported those other Presidents did not go around questioning their sanity. Nor were their sanity constantly questioned by others. I am sure you remember people who supported and defended Bill Clinton, even when he was going through the Monica Lewisnky affair scandal. I also remember Black passionate supporters of Bill Clinton calling him the first Black President. Yet, no one ever labelled passionate supporters of Bill Clinton, CLINTONBOTS! Why is that that loyal supporters of President Obama are constantly being challenged about their sanity, or are subliminally being led to question their own sanity?

          October 7, 2012 at 1:49 am

Eve, except for the Thursday morning depression and your saying ‘it frightens and concerns me’ that could be me speaking above, even to the bit about coming late to the realization of BHO. Only recently I was saying here that I had NEVER BEFORE in all my teenage/young adult years been the least bit interested in being a ‘fan’ of anyone. In fact, without meaning to offend anyone I always thought people who made a big fuss about celebrities or famous people they did not know were silly. THEN BHO ARRIVED ON THE SCENE and I’ve been hooked, having exactly the same reaction you described… in every detail.

I’m not exaggerating when I say PBO and his family are on my mind more constantly than any personal family member. I have told lifelong friends who ‘support’ him but do not follow as closely as I do that we will not discuss him, as their MSM-fueled ‘knowledgeable’ comments drove me crazy. I have accepted that that’s just the way it is, and because I don’t agonize about it I feel much easier mentally. I make no apologies to friends about how much of my time is consumed with this president, and though initially I used to justify to myself that I’m allowed one obsession, I stopped a long time ago. IMO I AM LIVING AND ROOTING FOR AND ENJOYING THE HISTORICAL PRESIDENCY OF BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA BECAUSE I HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE . (I don’t enjoy the obstructions, but it is a joy to see how he has been handling them.)

A point to consider, Eve: Maybe people like you and I, and ?+?+?…(praying him up, etc etc), and like Chips (working tirelessly for him), and LIKE ALL THE OTHER TODobots, Obamacrats, religious or not, have been ‘called” or ‘chosen’ or are ‘compelled’ to fulfill whatever role they have been doing just as BHO has been ‘called’ or ‘chosen’ or ‘compelled’ to serve in the way he has been doing all his life? We are PBO’s army, put wherever we are to help facilitate his task. (To be briefly biblical – God supplies what’s needed to do the work he commissions /I’ll refrain from an actual quote). We each have a role, so to speak, and no matter the response, ridicule, or obstacles we have a sense of compulsion to do our ‘assignment’ . Yeah, sounds kind of weird, but how else to explain this visceral reaction I have to a man and a family I have never met and will be unlikely to ever meet? It’s interesting I find that BHO evokes that kind of reaction around the world. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰ Probably means that he always has someoneS praying for him and rooting for him at every moment of every day and night. Now that that’s popped into my head I find that’s actually a cool thought. ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ™„ vc ‘s rambling ๐Ÿ™„

Sorry, Eve. In short – If I am perfectly sane (stifle it, CC/Amk), you are perfectly fine too. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜‰

WOW this sounds like me. There is never a day, hour, or minute when I am NOT thinking about this man. I need to know where is he and what he’s doing at all times. When he’s out of the public eye for days I start having withdraws. I am extremely protective of him and I stopped watching certain cable news shows as well. I love him so much. I did not sleep well at all on Thursday night. I woke up repeatedly thinking about him.

I am an AA too so I guess this connection is spiritual. I adore him. It’s a batshit crazy obsession.

    • 179 theo67
      October 7, 2012 at 2:49 am

Eve – you are most definitely not alone. I’ve never been obsessive myself, and I can totally relate to what you’ve written. And I’ve given up trying to fight it. The fact of the matter is that this man, standing almost alone if not for all of us, is the only thing between the world and the dark vision the GOP would like to enact. He’s it. He’s the one fighting against the forces moving to spread terrorism around the world, to prevent the fledgling democracies from taking hold, from allowing the world to move into a new age of collaboration and competition that includes the emerging countries, from tackling the touch challenges like Climate Change, world hunger, peace in the Middle East. He’s the only one who is trying to set up a future where kids can thrive and be educated and inclusive and embrace diversity.

What drives us to support him is that I think we are actually tethered across the universe to his spirit. He’s a good soul. We recognize that. We’ve heard the stories of him giving up lucrative career options to take menial, poor paying, tough jobs in underprivileged communities. We’ve seen that he is a deeply spiritual and deeply caring person. We know he’s just doing the best job he can do – and we also know that his best is better than most people’s best. And we know that the only thing preventing him from being crushed under the tremendous forces lined up against him is all of our positive energy. That’s why we all gather here every day. Those who admit it, and those who don’t. That’s why some people freak out. Why we know so many facts and figures – especially those of us who never really paid attention to politics, or dared to speak to strangers about politics. It’s why we’ve dug deep into our pockets and given money for a political campaign, and given more when we couldn’t afford it. Because we’ve realized that the power really does reside with the people. That politics is all about the masses. That there are some who would like to hoard the power for their evil purposes, and we’ve learned how to stand up and raise our voices against those people (who have been here all long).

President Obama is just a man, after all. He’s just human. He needs our help. He needs our strength and prayers and faith. And somehow, his soul has reached out to all of us and draws strength from us. I believe that.

You’re not deranged – or at least, you’re not alone in your derangement. ๐Ÿ™‚ We’re all in it together. And it’s wonderful. I just don’t know what we’ll do in 2017…

    • October 7, 2012 at 7:36 am

Eveingeorgia, I am late to this discussion but I want to say to you that you are certainly not alone in all that you describe about your relationship to this great man. I don’t think of it as an obsession but as a deep connection. A profound respect and kinship with someone I so deeply identify with in so many ways. I am not AA but I feel like he gets who I am and I know who he is. And it is this knowing, this profound relational connection, that stays with me. I relate deeply to his values, his aspirations, his desire for healing. This is especially true after the mess before him and all that we went through as a country with the lies and the obscene wars and horrific misery and the disdain for our deeply held values as human beings. PBO was called forward to be our visionary and to do great things in our darkest hour. He knew this and we know this and feel this. That is why we carry him with us in our daily lives. He is the embodiment of what the presidency should be. I think we care about him so much because he is the first person to lead our country that is like us. He is extremely brilliant and he is also silly and cool and compassionate and nerdy and a great husband and father and he is real. He is the person we all want to know more and more and more. We gravitate toward authenticity and goodness.

I have been in his personal space a few times and I can tell you that this is a person that emanates light. There is a strength and goodness and caring and passion that is at the very deepest core of who he is. It’s something you can feel deeply even at a distance but in his presence it is unmistakable and overwhelming and real. He is strong and sweet and warm and yes, very, very beautiful. He is in strong alignment with his principles. He lives them, everything he does is imbued with them. You can feel it as he waves, shakes your hand, looks you in the eye, smiles, laughs, hugs. In the truest sense of the word, you feel touched by him. To put it simply, he is so loved because he loves.

      Dear Eve,

To effusively and unapologetically embrace and support that rarest of human beings, authentically extraordinary, intrinsically decent, unflappable, steadfast and gracious even in the face of unprovoked hate and attack – and even to those who would do him harm…

      That is not ‘derangement’…

It is a genuine human response tapped into and fully embraced only by those untethered by envy, smallness, bigotry, greed, hate – and all the other cobwebs and sediments that collect over time and block the human ability to fully acknowledge and appreciate wonderful and positive qualities in others especially that few possess…

You are in lots of good company…

My mother, a wise, disciplined, God-fearing, pro-life, devout Catholic and retired university professor, prays for him like he were her own son…We all do – unceasingly…

She will mute the slightest hint of anti-President Obama rhetoric including any sermons on the Catholic network…She even had us disinvite her sister from her 70th birthday celebrations 2 years ago when she discovered that her sister, a bitter Hillary Clinton supporter turned PUMA, had turned to FOX news to get ‘information the liberal media wouldn’t tell about Obama’…

My aunt is now back in the fold after having fully embraced President Obama and renouncing Fox news…

My siblings and their spouses all smart, sensible and level-headed…all proudly crazy for President Obama…

My friends all around the world… recognize, embrace and honor the extraordinary and once in a generation gift we have in President Obama…

And those few friends who didn’t were quickly shed and friendships severed very earlier on….

My support for President Obama is legendary…unyielding and unapologetic…

At work, at home and socially…

I do not suffer fools, do nothing by half measure and particularly have no patience for people who ought to know better but refuse to – especially with regard to President Obama…

I mostly measure people now by their responses to and opinions and evaluation of President Obama…

It is incredibly revealing of who people really are…

I have never and will never offer up criticism of any sort – or subscribe to the notion that this spectacularly capable man needs me to tell him how to do a job he has shown himself eminently and uniquely qualified for and incredibly able at…

My proud support of President Obama comes with absolutely no strings attached…

      I have never met him…

I just want him to succeed above and beyond our wildest dreams and his…

I also want him and Mrs Obama and their family to come out at the end of this sojourn, intact…

Willtard Mittiot Robme went to the NAACP conference, used it as his backdrop for a grand stand playing to his base and got booed because he stood there and told them he would repeal Obamacare. He then went to his T-Repub 1% immediately afterwards and told them (paraphrasing) that “those people” wanted “free stuff”. He got caught in his 47% nightmare for 3 weeks and then stood at that debate podium and not only lied about his “policies” but called the first AA President of the United States Barack Hussein Obama a liar to his face. Now the “polls” have that lying disrespectful, boorish pos ahead among AAs??? Bullhockey!!!!! And may I say the only poll that matters will happen in a tidal wave of votes for FOUR MORE YEARS on November 6, 2012.

Okay. I just wanted to make sure that I was not talking to myself…..again. It sounded like me and what goes on in my head. But let me reassure you , you are not alone. The best answer that I can give you is my personal opinion. This is a spiritual man and we are spiritual beings. We are connected spiritual to this man and it is not an obsession. Scripture tells us to try the Spirit by the Spirit. So what we are feeling is marvelous and I am not worry about the obsession because of the connection.

I know there are some people who say they are not religious, neither am I. But spiritual I am, we all all. Whatever your faith’ whatever you believe I respect. I do not judge. When your Creator is love and we were created out of His love. We cannot gravitate to hate, lies, untruths, deception. It will not happen. So I choose embrace this connection with all of my heart and soul because our spirits have been longing for this. This is who we are.
I hope that helped you just a little to understand you are love, PBO is love. We are where we suppose to be right now in this time and place. It is marvelous to be alive on this hostile earth and have love in your heart. What a joy if others would submit to this peace. It is always there waiting for us when we learn to embrace and accept it.

So truthfully and beautifully stated LDS. You put it so beautifully that reaches a depth of truth that is so simple and yet beautiful in truth. I love the manner in which your state the difference in being religious, and spiritually connected to a Creator of love. I totally believe that POB is one who shows his love for the Creator in how he loves people, live with people, even when they do him wrong and say all manner of evil against him. He “grativates to love, good deeds, truth, peacefulness, goodness, what is pure to do toward those in need. Thanks so much for your comments on this. I don’t think he’s predicting a Romney win as such, but he is definitely enabling the MSM narrative of Mittmentum after the debate. The problem is that much of this narrative is based on skewed polling from questionable RW outfits.

Eveingeorgia, it’s 12 hours later and I am just now reading your post and the replies here, and I want to say that ~yes~ I have the same experience of President Barack Obama that you do. I am a 70-something person who is grateful every waking moment for the arrival of Barack Obama in our lives, in our country, in the world. I had no way, before now, to imagine such a person, such a leader, and I am not sure that I can distinguish him, truly, from Jesus. I am not sure that I even need to make that distinction. He is actively and in his character so extraordinary that most of us just don’t get him. We project our own mere selves onto him, and fail to see what is really there. I take him at his word that he’s not perfect. that’s okay with me. I was talking to my best friend yesterday about her dreams, my dreams, we were trying to figure out what our dreams are. And as soon as I got still enough to consider the question, I realized that Barack Obama creates the world of my dreams, that we could as a society, a world, transform ourselves to caring about each other, work hard, use our minds and hearts. We have that opportunity and space now. And as I see it, it’s because of Barack Obama. love to you. xoxox

Ridiculed both—-Willard blabbing away lies, Obama distracted by forgetting to get Michelle an anniversary gift, wondering what he could pick up at the last minute—-Denver Broncos sweatshirt, hotel robe or coffee mug—–and falling asleep from altitude sickness, not responding when Romney said he nabbed bin Laden.
Now really ridiculing msnbc peeps for going apoplectic post debate.

I thought SNL’s treatment of PBO at the podium was endearing! (If we can laugh at ourselves, the way PBO does, we are winning.) And I loved the way they ridiculed the MSNBC fools. I was expecting … I dunno … worse.

MSNBC’s on air personalities deserve to be ridiculed for their over the top reaction to the debate. It was so theatrical that it was comical. They really were/are pushing a predetermined meme to help Mitt gain momentum. Glad to hear Saturday Night Live is picking up the “Mitt is a compulsive liar” meme. Once comics brand you that way it sticks. Fact that RW polls are forced to CREATE favorable polling for Mitt (Mitt winning the black vote is some Twilight Zone shit) tells me that this Mitt surge is a media creation. Funny how they claim the “liberal media” is skewing polls to favor PBO, when in fact they are the ones pushing bogus polls. This species of republican we are dealing with today is pure scum. I don’t see any redeeming qualities.

Tally, if you are still here: thank you so much for expressing what I have been feeling all week. You have a way with words and I enjoy reading your posts. Even though I have not had a chance to thank you. I am forever catching up here. I do not want to miss one thing.

I am so glad I just did not respond to any of my friends, family and strangers discussions after the debate. I did read somewhere on one of the posts waaaay up there that LOD was quizzing about Friday night shows being televised up unto the election. if I had anything to do with it, it would be your spot. So many people are in “their bubbles”, I think you said that with their day to day challenges. They turn on and tune out.
They let the pundits think for them, tell them what they are getting paid to tell them and “Viola, we have a winner”. Thank you, again.

we need to clean out the house ‘science’ committee!!!

‘ Rep. Paul Broun, who serves on the House Science Committee, told a church-sponsored banquet in his home state of Georgia that the theories of evolution and the big bang are โ€œlies straight from the pit of hell.โ€
The House Science Committee had already come under scrutiny recently after Rep. Todd Akin, another one of its members, made the now-infamous remarks about โ€œlegitimate rape,โ€ points out Talking Points Memo. ‘
