Hello
Congratssssssssssssss
Way to go, Elle!!
Bob did you get the clip? I posted it on the last two threads. With watching the debates I’m chasing here tonight!
Thank you. I’ll go back and find it. Much appreciated!!!
We need women to begin expressing true empathy for Mrs Romney and accept her concerns as an honest statement and protect their families by voting at an unprecedented turnout to ensure Mitt gets the care he needs and President Obama is able to continue caring for All Americans.
#PRESSON
Ok, Cox clearly didn’t get, even remotely, the specific issue – Mrs Romney expressed concern, not about him as a campaigner, but as PRESIDENT!!!
I am a Woman for Obama! Hey Beyonce! 😀
Top five! Love Beyonce.

Behave yourselves:) Going out ot do my Monday night phonebanking:) congrats, Elle!
Wow! Very powerful!
I can’t believe Sheryl Crow ever dated that choad Kid Rock.
LL, I thought S Crow dated Lance Armstrong and Pamela Anderson dated Kid Rock
Yeah she did a duet with Kid Rock (a really cool song) but dated L Armstrong.
Maybe they all had an Orgy?
You know Jovie, it makes it pretty hard to share links to amazing posts such as this when we have to contend with comments like this…
We’ve got an election to win and must win over every fickle, straddling and quirky voter out there and this post with the videos targeting women would have been perfect…
But now I have to send out links to it via YouTube instead…
Let’s all try to be a bit more sensitive and conscious even in jest…
These posts really do serve a huge purpose particularly as outreach tools to less politically tuned in folks and really do so much more than simply amuse us regular TODers…
Wasn’t Sheryl Crow married to Lance Armstrong standing by him during his cancer bout then when she got cancer he dumped her? I seem to remember an interview of her on Oprah about it and one of her comeback songs based on the experience. My memory is not clear on it though.
I thought Britney Spears dated Kid Rock?
LL, we all make mistakes, the only thing is we have to learn from those mistakes and I’m sure Ms. Crow have. Kid Rock, sucks.
I apologize, Ms. Crow never dated Kid Rock, that was Pam Anderson. Kid Rock still sucks. I never thought he had any talent anyway.
AWESOME SAUCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks prettyfoot58 for sharing Coretta Scott King’s words! We need to resurrect the voices of people who risked their lives in the struggle to gain the right to vote!
NO Doubt!!!!
Pres. Obama was up by 7 last week and now he’s up by 15 points. Damn! That’s one big game changer.
Great video 🙂
Brought over from previous thread:
President Obama will be in California next week, to dedicate Cesar Chavez’s home, workplace and gravesite as a National Monument.
Since the days of train travel, I doubt if any President has been within miles of this location (Keene, CA, between Bakersfield and Tehachapi), so this will be a real treat for Kern County residents.
As an aside, I cannot believe the hateful RWNJ responses to Mark Knoller’s tweets. No human is perfect, and any role model has human flaws. But there is no better role model for the Latino community at this time. I’m sure that there will be others to stand on his shoulders, but for 2012, I’m glad that Mr. Chavez’s family will be so honored. (I’m saddened that Frank Church of Idaho hasn’t had a more lasting legacy, especially now that RWNJs have overtaken that state. I’m pretty sure he had Native American heritage, but am unable to confirm, as I must be out the door).
That’s a keeper – exceptionally powerful video.
And, yes, on 1 day, 6 Nov 2012, all the gains in rights for women made during the past 50+ years will either be protected or destroyed.
No replays.
No 2nd chances.
Wake up on 7 Nov 2012 and President Obama has won and we are living in a Talibanized America.

Yes We Can
Team Romney is really desperate. They just sent out a mass press alert that John Elway just endorsed them so this means they are definitely going to win Colorado and this is a debate game changer. In their press alert they had to explain who John Elway is. “John Elway is a former pro-football player.” When you have to explain who your endorser is, when most of the public has to Google the name, not only is that pathetic but it also means that your endorser is a has been loser.
Bravo, Paul! Of all the Clintonites, I really love Paul Begala. He has such killer sense of humor. Thanks for sharing, Dudette.
OMG, they are beyond the hideous now. GAH.
Elway endorsed Senator McCain too.
John Elway can’t save Romney, or any other high profile person, imo. Romney doesn’t have a majority in any voting demographic except white males. Several pollsters stated earlier this year that he’d need to win 61% of the white vote to win and at least 40% of the Latino vote. At this point in his campaign, he doesn’t have these percentages.
Well, that was my first thought, UT. Who’s John Elway. Thanks for clearing it up–sure looks like a game changer to me—-not.
John Elway is a Republican. The question is why did it take him this long to endorse Romney?
Bush-Appointed Judge Upholds Obama Administration’s Birth Control Coverage Rules
http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2012/10/01/931671/bush-appointed-judge-rejects-catholic-employers-challenge-to-birth-control-access-rules/
It’s a sad commentary on our modern political sickness and the state of the judiciary that judges have to be identified by the President who appointed them.
Rachel Maddow just announced that Republican Party halts voter registration in some swing states! This is because of the company “Strategic Allied…’s voter registration fraud.
Get your tissues out – tears…
Wow, what a sweet child. Totally choked up.
Bless this beautiful young man, and a Big thank you to his father for his service to all of us. Yes, make sure you have the tissues for this one. We need to make sure that POB is re-elected to finish the work that he has to finish. HZ
New post everyone:

I know one or two things, President Obama knows how to treat HIS woman and his two fusture women, Malia and Sasha. Also, he shows such respect to women in general.
McCaskill leads Akin by 9, according to internal polling
By ALEXANDER BURNS | 10/1/12 4:07 PM
McCaskill is now touching the 50-percent mark in an internal poll conducted for her campaign.
Hey family…just back from a business meeting at a lovely restaurant. I arrived first and was sat down immediately. Our table was next to a group of 6 men (white, middle aged) and the discussion was pretty lively. ‘Mitt HAS to pull this off’, ‘If Obama is reelected, that will be disaster’, ‘look at what he’s done to this country,’ ‘Yeah, we’re gonna be in some deep shit if he’s reelected’. As soon as I was sat down, half of table looked at me. Yeah that’s right, looked at this middle aged, black woman, sheepishly and changed the subject for rest of the night. My first thought was, ‘you fuckin’ cowards… don’t stop on my behalf!’ Then I felt this kind of sick feeling of, ‘wow…I just witnessed how these folks think when they think they are safe or with their kind’. It was like being a fly on the wall witnessing Mitt’s recent 100% asshole moment.
Not that I didn’t think these folks think like that, it’s just pretty awful to witness it first hand. I mean, these assholes probably have people of color in their businesses and probably look at them negatively everyday if they were even hired in the first place. If I tried to approach these people to sell my services, they had already dismissed me before I even opened my mouth. Again… nothing I haven’t faced or experienced in a very subtle ways over the years. This might be a first, witnessing it in a such bold manner.
I get the same from some of my democratic co-worker, when bush was POTUS we talk about politic all the time, Now we don’t, I ask why? they said their no different and they’re not going to vote.
((((((((((((stayingsteady4PBO))))))))))) I’m so sorry, I know how this kind of thing can hurt. They are indeed cowards.
{{{{{{SS4PBO}}}}}}. YOU were the professional here, you were wise not to take them on, which would have lowered you to their level. Try to let go of the grotesque spectacle you witnessed, you already know there is a side of human nature which is so ugly, words cannot express it. They are a dying breed, on the verge of extinction, and the world will be a better place when they are gone. It will take some time. Meanwhile, you are a powerful force for good and are making an enormous difference in shaping the future by doing exactly what you are doing to re-elect our beloved PBO & VPB! Chin up, shoulders back, we are proud and we are unstoppable! 🙂
I can empathize with you, SS4PBO,
When then-Senator Barack Obama won in 2008, the day after the election on my job was dreadful. It was as if the U.S. had died. All of the other teachers I had thought were Christians and fair-minded people turned out to be hard right partisans who hated seeing Senator BO beat McCain. It was very enlightening and very sad at the same time. What helped me was that I was retiring at the end of that school year. Just keep on keeping on, SS4PBO, let them say whatever they want, and keep in the front of your mind that we won’t let them stop our progress toward a better future for us and them. A major difference between us and them is that we think in terms of the U.S. being a community and they think of the U.S. as being a place where everyone is for him/herself, and the truth is that we’re the ones who are right.
