Blog stats – crikey: hello Trinidad, Netherlands, Egypt, Spain, Switzerland (say hi to Mitt’s bank accounts) and Nigeria, and all those minor countries at the top of the list.
I notice PBO sure loves his fav’rite TOD ties these days. Didn’t noticed him wearing them before this week. Guess I just wasn’t paying enough attention. 🙂 🙂
When our President is sworn in for his second term…can we all meet at the Washington Mall?
Come hell of high water (as the saying goes) I will be there, how I wish to share it with the whole TOD Family.

I don’t really sleep much generally – part of my natural nosiness maybe. 😉 😉 Also, you probably missed the news, but I have decided to retire from competition while I was ‘at the top’, so that TOD history will remember me fondly, (instead of with speculation and innuendos). 😆 😆 😆
If I were you, Chips, I wouldn’t mention the kitchen when I’m being congratulated. Some of us have very vivid memories of your prowess ALL OVER the kitchen! /shudder/
Pamela, what’s the matter with you and Theo? I don’t want CC and her crew knowing exactly where I am! When I’m lobbing my comments to their exact locations and they are retaliating, I want them to be casting them wildly here and there so that I don’t even have to dodge. Let her draw me in … wherever. I’ll be a world citizen, me who is not fond of travel. 😉
Thom Hartman did his opening segment on this today. He said it has gone viral, not just all over US, but “around the world.” (His words) His understanding is that it is satire, but then maybe not???????? Considering Roger Simon wrote it……Thom just wasn’t totally sure satire or not or little of both truth and satire.
I saw that too. He wasn’t joking. He was naturally afraid for his wife and he thought that she should have been able to open a window and get fresh air. He was dead serious.
Wow, just wow. We are global, how cool is that? And yeah, a slice of Mother Africa — Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa in the house. TOD just way, way cool.
Today, my husband, a quiet political junkie made two points to me. First, he said, “do you know that CNN is really biased toward Romney, I can’t imagine Candy Crowley moderating a debate.” I told him that many of us held the view about CNN.
He also said, he noticed that the Iranian president’s speech to the U.N. (which I did not see) was much more restrained than he had seen in previous years. He credited PBO for most likely the reason for this. He said that the guy might have very well listened to PBO speech yesterday. Just an observation.
I’m worried about Candy Crowley in the debates, too. She’s just horrible. What a terrible pick for the first woman to moderate a Presidential debate.
As for Ahmadinejad – they had an Iranian expert on NPR tonight, and he made the same observation. But, he did say that his psychiatrist friends are saying that Ahmadinejad is a narcissist, and he’s fallen in love with the limelight – he’s going to be difficult to keep quiet, and he knows a lot of secrets. Should be interesting once he leaves office…
I follow my youngest daughter’s alma mater, DePauw U. in Greencastle, In. on twitter, and I started getting these ridiculous tweets about the election—–both sides bad type tweets—–race is even, Obama in jeopardy because he’s below 50%—–etc. and I see it’s coming from a guest speaker, Candy Crowley! And I thought—ugh—–it was confirming that she is going to be a horrible, biased debate moderator.
What surprises me about these pundits is that some of them have children, and their work of misinforming is directly going to shape the future that their children will inherit. It’s like they don’t even care.
🙂 I have a dollar bill that I kept from my trip to the Cayman Islands…I was just looking at it today. Came across it in my wallet. Beautiful island. Beautiful people. And a damn beautiful dollar bill 🙂 I hope I can get back there again one day….Mittens has sullied the name of that gorgeous place.
I have a $2 bill that I kept from my trip to the USA – 1978 – and despite all this talk of economic failure – that $2 is worth more in my currency today than it was in 1978.
Oh wow ! This is my first comment and I’m kinda shy .. 🙂 BUT, CHIPS, GOTTA TELL YOU : YOU’RE THE BEST !!! 🙂 Thank you so much for being there ! I love “The Obama Diary” – can’t live without it anymore !!! 🙂 Thank you for all you do ❤ .. hugs from France !
Hi Folks, Hi Chips…….Just wanted to say that Trinidad & Tobago is by no means a “minor” country on the world stage. We may be small but we are involved in everything in the world.
Would you believe that I have been in the US since August 4 and although I have been checking in I have not had time to post until now. I will be returning to Trinidad on Saturday. I came to help my husband pack up and return home permanently.
This is still my favourite site for so any reasons. I can’t even start to make a list. I wish PBO all the best in November and I know he will be there until 2017. PBO and Usain Bolt are alike……when you are in a race with either of them you know you are racing for second place. I think Mitt should just drop out and leave civilisation to civilised people. 4morefor44!!! Whoo Hoo!!!
Thanks DF! This is the beginning of real married life as we have been spending most of the time apart since we got married in 2010. I am looking forward to it but I am still a bit nervous.
For the record, Ms Chips, I am neither sleeping nor snoring! I was going by through my timeline – a thankless task – to find my previous Sensata tweets. There must be a faster way to locate past tweets, but of course *L* wouldn’t know it! Seems I’ve been hanging around you far too long – I actually understood your ‘minor’ reference perfectly and right away too. 🙄
hi trinisamba
we hawaii tods are part of the usa, but we don’t even show up on the map! the ocean is just too wide, i guess, but we’re here–like you–proud of our president, and grateful to our chips.
Another example of what leadership looks like: Hiring the best person for a tough job. #FORWARD
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton delivers remarks at the UNAIDS Shared Responsibility Event at the United Nations in New York, New York on September 26, 2012. A text transcript can be found at http://www.state.gov/secretary/rm/2012/09/198221.htm.
Thanks for this – I’ve only seen snippets, and I was wondering why nobody seemed to be talking about it. I could swear that she was talking about Willard and his secret money in the Caymans – since she can’t openly advocate for President Obama in the election. Good speech!
US Soldier’s Helmet Cam Shows Him Drawing Taliban Fire To Protect His Unit
Geoffrey Ingersoll | Sep. 26, 2012, 7:47 PM | 2,963 | 11
The U.S. Army Soldier in this video believed his unit was trapped by enemy fire, so the only solution was to draw the fire away from them. The kicker is that he had to become the target.
When buddies, brothers, fellow soldiers in your unit are in danger, no action is too much, nothing goes without consideration, and in flash you move.
The description of the video, allegedly from the soldier himself, says he “got hit four times” as he made his way down the mountain.
As the President says this solder is an example of “The FINEST AMERICA HAS TO OFFER.” I’m awestruck and humbled.
This video is amazing. For me, kinda hard to watch. But I watched because he wanted me/us to see.
———————————————–
Youtube comment indicates the 4 Moments of impact: 1:24 1:44 1:52 2:00 2:22 (go back a second or two before each)
More in the video description:
“No rounds penetrated his body armor, and he made it home with no permanent injuries. This happened in Kunar Province, Afghanistan.
*READ* From the cameraman:
” I got a hit a total of 4 times. My helmet cam died and i made it down the mountain on my own. I was also hit in the side of my helmet and my eye pro was shot off of my face. We were doing overwatch on the village to recon and gather intel. I was point heading down the face of the hill with the LT. when we got hit. the rest of the squad was pinned down by machine gun fire. I didn’t start the video until a few mins into the firefight for obvious reasons. I came out into the open to draw fire so my squad could get to safety.”
“A round struck the tube by my hand of the 203 grenade launcher which knocked it out of my hands. When I picked the rifle back up it was still functional but the grenade launcher tube had a nice sized 7.62 cal bullet hole in it and was rendered useless. ”
This footage is part of an ongoing documentation of the war in Afghanistan. “
Wow, Chipsticks! I didn’t know you have such a world-wide reach. Congrats on doing such a wonderful job of spreading the truth and goodwill about our beloved President Obama. BTW, It’s true that India is not on top of the list, but having AMK on our side makes up for for that. I just can’t imagine TOD without “amk for Obama.”
My part of the world is catching up on the news. Just saw this
“Teach a man to fish, and feed him for a lifetime. Don’t feed fish.”—Paul Ryan earlier today in Ohio.
Sounds like “I know that human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully”
WE ARE THE WORLD! WE ARE THE CHILDREN…….lalalalalaaaa……..
I consider myself well-read and geographically aware but I’m ashamed to say I don’t know anything about the country named Jersey. Looks like I need more edumacation. 😳
Jersey isn’t a country (maybe why you never heard of it) — it’s one of the Channel Islands. They’re British Crown Dependencies in the English Channel, off the French coast of Normandy. They include two separate bailiwicks: the Bailiwick of Guernsey and the Bailiwick of Jersey. (Source of two of the best varieties of dairy cows.)
Ahhhhh, now the cows — both Guernsey and Jersey — I’ve heard of them. Veddy veddy interesting. Sounds like a sweet little spot. Thanks for the geo-history lesson! 😉
Hello, World! What a family!
This just made my day. Thank you, Chips for making this all possible.
Blessings to everyone here who post, lurk, smile, laugh, inform, educate , inspire and cry with us.
The most powerful feeling is LOVE and it has united us all here, in this time, in this space.
As we share this space in the days ahead leading up to the election, I am so grateful and thankful that God loved so much that He sent us a caring, humble, loving gentle spirit to lead the march. Our modern day Joshua…..courageous, fearless!
STILL HOPING. STILL CHANGING. STILL MOVING FOWARD!
Sweet Sleep, everyone. Good morning to some.
During the last weeks of this campaign there will be debates, speeches and more ads. But if I could sit down with you in your living room or around the kitchen table here’s what I’d say:
When I took office we were losing nearly 800,000 jobs a month and were mired in Iraq. Today I believe that as a nation we are moving forward again. But we have much more to do to get folks back to work and make the middle class secure again.
Now, Governor Romney believes that with that even bigger tax cuts for the wealthy and fewer regulations on Wall Street all of us will prosper. In other words he’d double down on the same trickle down policies that led to the crisis in the first place. So what’s my plan?
First, we create a million new manufacturing jobs and help businesses double their exports. Give tax breaks to companies that invest in America, not that ship jobs overseas.
Second, we cut our oil imports in half and produce more American-made energy, oil, clean-coal, natural gas, and new resources like wind, solar and bio-fuels—all while doubling the fuel efficiencies of cars and trucks.
Third, we insure that we maintain the best workforce in the world by preparing 100,000 additional math and science teachers. Training 2 million Americans with the job skills they need at our community colleges. Cutting the growth of tuition in half and expanding student aid so more Americans can afford it.
Fourth, a balanced plan to reduce our deficit by four trillion dollars over the next decade on top of the trillion in spending we’ve already cut, I’d ask the wealthy to pay a little more. And as we end the war in Afghanistan let’s apply half the savings to pay down our debt and use the rest for some nation building right here at home.
It’s time for a new economic patriotism. Rooted in the belief that growing our economy begins with a strong, thriving middle class. Read my plan. Compare it to Governor Romney’s and decide for yourself. Thanks for listening.
Okay, I’m going to sign off at last, just in case I get called to work tomor….later this morning. I sure hope Ms. Chips reads her ‘mail’ when she awakens.
I have read your plan.
Thank you for informing us with FACTS! We appreciate you taking the time to inform, encourage and care about us.
May God bless you and your family, your staff and the people who are workingMendlessly and tirelessly to make this happen again.
We are forever grateful of your choice to serve us. Our prayer, this time is that more hearts will be changed and more minds will be transformed to seek the truth, care for those who are in need. Love replaces hate. PEACE replaces war. Truth replaces lies.
FOWARD.
I’m an Alaskan and I come here daily (more than once! 🙂 This is the best political blog for President Obama in my opinion. Chipsticks is an incredible person. I find so much refreshment here, not only because of her, but all the wonderful community here. I share a lot of the information I find here. So much heart and service! Thank you everyone.
I belong to a group of women from states around the country, who have been active in Obama’s campaign from the start, canvassing, phonebanking etc. If you are looking around for promotional items, take a look at the ones the group have made with their signature. http://www.zazzle.com/obamalovers/gifts . We have been pleased with the quality. “We are a group of women who support President Obama, Joe Biden, and Democrats. A portion of the proceeds goes to the campaign.” Twitter address is #obamalovers (Chipsticks, if you think this is inappropriate to promote on your site, please delete. – I couldn’t find an email to ask permission first.)
President Obama has expanded his lead in Iowa, a state where voters can begin casting their ballots starting tomorrow.
Obama leads Republican candidate Mitt Romney 51 percent to 44 percent in the Hawkeye State, according to a new survey from Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling. The president only notched a 2-point lead in Iowa in the firm’s poll from late August.
“Barack Obama is starting to pull away in Iowa,” said Dean Debnam, President of PPP said in a release. “Voters there just really don’t like Mitt Romney. It would be more competitive if the Republicans had a half decent candidate.”
Please delete the previous post, Chips. And I hope it’s okay to post this. All I want is for people to see and download and link this presentation for other people to learn something. I did this so that folks could find an easy way to get deadlines and basic info.My slideshare project, Early Voting Expanded is done. It’s the revised version of Early Voting 2012. (It’s the top Presentation)
I started off by doing another Presentation, but realized quickly that I just needed to add to the previous project. I now have info on voter registration and absentee deadlines as well. Another will be coming on voter protection tonight. Please post to wherever and share with all. A third on Obama Accomplishments may be sometime this weekend as well. Inform your neighbors and friends.
Voting issues has been a passion of mine since 2000, when I had to sit in an office and silently cry while Gore was robbed of his Presidency by five black-robed thieves. It was intensified on September 11, 2001 when I saw that the guy they robbed Gore for was nowhere to be seen for several hours of the worst horror I’d ever seen. 2004 didn’t help either. So I’ve been interested in voter education-an informed voter is an effective voter.
from ‘five things we learned’ from miss ann on leno (if you don’t mind clicking on huffypuffy–it includes the video clip, plus a bonus ‘who wore it best’ poll about miss ann’s black leathers)
“Mitt is a workaholic at work, but at home, he’s a playaholic.”
Comment: Here’s the most important thing I learned from Ann’s interview with Jay:
When asked what causes she would champion as First Lady she said, “Breast Cancer, MS and any other disease I might get”. Well, thanks Mrs. Romney, you only care about those things that affect you directly. Not that MS and Breast Cancer aren’t important causes, they are, but maybe there’s something out there that she could devote her energy to that doesn’t somehow directly affect her.
The Romney’s are self-centered selfish people. When something affects them directly they care, if it doesn’t affect them directly they don’t.
So, Time magazine says that Mormonism us America, and that is why America is exceptional because of Mormonhsm, with a big picture of Robney in Church Praying.
You have got to be kidding me?
This is class A Bullshit, even for Meachem.
Their god lives on (or near) the planet Kolob. (yet to be discovered) (not very American) And requiring everyone to wear magic underwear doesn’t seem like FREEDOM! to me.
Mittens, the Garden of Eden is NOT in Missouri. The Son of Man and the devil are NOT brothers. The Deity does exist. Black people will NOT be slaves in Heaven. Yes, Mary was a virgin.
President Obama’s support among Catholic voters has surged since June, according to a new poll, despite a summer that included the Catholic bishops’ religious freedom campaign and the naming of Rep. Paul Ryan, a Catholic, as the GOP’s vice-presidential candidate.
On June 17, Obama held a slight edge over Mitt Romney among Catholics (49-47 percent), according to the Pew Research Center. Since then, Obama has surged ahead, and now leads 54-39 percent, according to a Pew poll conducted on Sept. 16.
///
John C. Green, an expert on religion and politics at the University of Akron in Ohio, said Obama’s surge among Catholic voters does not mean the bishops’ campaign was ineffective . But religious freedom is not the most salient issue for Catholics during an election dominated by economic concerns, he said.
///
Among white evangelicals, another crucial religious constituency, Romney’s support has inched up since July, from 69 to 74 percent, according to the Pew poll, while Obama’s percentage declined.
Despite concerns that Obama’s support for same-sex marriage would alienate African-American Protestants, 95 percent still back Obama over Romney.
Obama also leads among Americans with no religious affiliation, 65-27 percent. Romney leads among Americans who attend worship services at least weekly, 51-42 percent.
As someone who grew up Catholic, the heartlessness of Romney attitude toward the poor goes against everything I learner about Christ s teachings. More than anything else, his work evolved around improving the lives of those who are less fortunate. Unfortunately, the Bishops have become the 1%!! But the nuns haven’t and they have been supportive of a lot of PBO initiatives, often clashing with those bishops.
But but but the first debate and Robney has been studying and he is prepared, contrast that with the President and he never studies talks to long and is not a good debate person and…
Every time I hear that shiz, I think about the Repuke summit PBO went to and how it was just him v the repukes and how they asked for cameras, hoping to humiliate him and how he left that building with all their scalps. Best hour and a half? Of my life. Loved it.
Jonathan Capehart really ticked me mighty off last night with his drivel about the American people only wanting short simple soundbites in the debates. Well excuse me Mr. Capehart, but our President has NEVER patronized the American people’s intelligence or their maturity and has always given substantive responses to his questions, even if they are a little longer than the canned talking points of every GOP candidate. And the American people have responded extremely WELL to our President’s long, detailed answers to their questions. It’s the beltway media that LOVES the soundbites and canned talking points because it fills up their vapid heads and enables their sensationalist reporting.
It’s the beltway media that LOVES the soundbites and canned talking points because it fills up their vapid heads and enables their sensationalist reporting.
———————
Tell it HF. I saw Jonathan Capehart spouting that crap last night too. He’s got issues. I really can’t figure him out. smdh. But I have a newsflash for JC – One of the many reasons why Mitt Romney is losing so badly is that he can’t provide any SPECIFICS on anything He’s got nothin. And on top of that he has disdain for you, your colleagues in the media and the American people. President Obama has specifics and a story to tell about his accomplishments. And he respects the American people and treats them like adults.
Exactly dotster. I got into it with him about 2 months ago on Twitter when he made the most ludicrous supposition that Romney could win the election by using the same strategy that former NY Gov George Pataki used in 1994! And that strategy was by remaining relatively “unknown” throughout the campaign while running against an “unpopular incumbent.”
I wanted to tell Capehart where to go and how long to stay there, but the better angels in me steered me towards simply disagreeing with him and calmly pointing out that the candidates and political situations in 2012 are completely different from what they were in 1994. And I gave him specific examples of how they differed – that is Romney was not a generic “unknown” like Pataki; Obama was not an “unpopular” incumbent, and info was disseminated very differently in 1994 compared to now.
He retorted that there was a lot of “anger” out there against our President. I set him straight on that and told him that this “anger” is basically a hyperbolic ginned up exaggeration from the media. He didn’t respond to that. I guess he felt it wasn’t worth it to continue arguing because he would wind up looking more and more foolish!
Andrea Mitchel is dissuading People from early voting.
She says wait for the debate, if the President makes a mistake, you could change your mind, blah blah blah.
Then, She sites John Kerry.
She is a Bull shitter. That is all!
That’s not bullshitting. That’s working for the Republican team. The more people vote early, the less likely Republican tricks work. Do they really think Obama is going to make major mistakes? The President is a guy who makes other people make major mistakes-and Robme has made a ton in less than a month. Obama-never gets flustered, practices harder than most and knows what he’s talking about. He’s not going to make a mistake in a debate. They know that there’s no hope there. So all they are doing is trying to slow down early voting.
Hey Ms Chips, i see Trinidad is right up there with them. Great stuff, especially as I sing your song to all I meet.
Have a great day to the POU family.
There are countries, nations, on that list that I don’t know. Time to get educated, to see just how worldly Chipsticks is and get myself educated. I am definitely impressed Chipsticks.
Hey!
Helloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo GB!!!

I am planning on going this time. My daughter is living in DC now. I think we need to do this.
I would dearly love to have a meet-up on the Mall. Maybe there will be another concert ahead of time, and that might be easier to coordinate a TOD group attendance.
Wow! We are the bomb!
Yup. Blows my mind. From major parts of the world to less well known parts of the world. Everyone loooooooves Pres. Obama.

You do have to admire how much effort Chips exerted to include you, amk, in the geostats!
Hold yer horses Mister, I just delved deeper (ie finally found the right button to click):

Drats. Them must be the wifeys.

HA! You’re hilarious!
Striving to be ‘exceptional’, are you?
But I am exceptional, vc. Just ask my wifey unit(s)
I did. Chips gave me some telling answers.
My dear Chips, you’ve reached the world, well done.
Could be, like the rest of us, scared spitless of a Robme win, so watching supporting, tweeting, visit family there and make sure they’re voting for our guy, emailing, sending info by snail mail, phoning, knock on doors, WHATEVER IT TAKES to CRUUUSSSHHH THEM.
And most of all ********VOTE VOTE .
Congratulations, Chips!!!! Amazing reach & impact!!!!

You mean no snoring allowed.

I’m in my ladylike mode, so I won’t be throwing anything, and my brain is tired so you can breathe easily…….for the rest of MY night.
I don’t really sleep much generally – part of my natural nosiness maybe. 😉 😉 Also, you probably missed the news, but I have decided to retire from competition while I was ‘at the top’, so that TOD history will remember me fondly, (instead of with speculation and innuendos). 😆 😆 😆
“speculation and innuendos”
Damn that chips. 🙂
Retiring while at the top. That’s what I keep telling fedex but does he listen ?

But I do think VC is a little bit somewhat like A LOT more over there to the other side of Oh Canada! 🙂
And a whole lot further South! Eh?
I actually figured she was just generally pointing to Canada – instead of being on the completely wrong coast… 🙂

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/09/26/name-calling-begins-as-reported-rift-opens-between-stench-romney-and-gilligan-ryan/
They talked about it on Stephanie Miller too. Hal Sparks had a field day with it!
Tally, between Brazil and Ethiopia 😳 Just updated the list in the post … I should have fiddled with Ireland’s figures.
Of all peeps. I haz a sad. I LOVE YOU BABE!!! 😉
http://www.balloon-juice.com/2012/09/26/when-satire-goes-wrong-paul-ryan-is-not-calling-mitt-romney-the-stench/
Yeah, people always check out Politico for their daily dose of satire….
Rightwingers are saying that “Mitt was joking about the airplane windows”. I saw the video and he sure didn’t seem like he was joking to me.
I saw that too. He wasn’t joking. He was naturally afraid for his wife and he thought that she should have been able to open a window and get fresh air. He was dead serious.
Chips, this is for you!
For your warm, nurturing spirit, for the sacrifices you make, for this beautiful oasis, for everything you are and everything you do… THANK YOU!
Oh Dudette, Natalie and 10,000 Maniacs were the loves of my life when I was a young thing, just adored them.
eg:
Thank you SOOOOOO much for bringing back wonderful memories!
🙂
Kind and generous? Chips? The Chips who told the entire TODville that I snore? Oh. My. Lord. not just all of TODville, she. told. the. WORLD! 😳 😳 😳
Waves to the world from Burbank!!! HELLOOOOOOO!!!!!
Waving back from Georgia (not the country, the one that’s full of country folk)! 🙂
Hello Tally, from Canada.
Where are you in the 2nd most gorgeous country ever? (Scotland being #1.)
West. Oil country.
Scotland trip is on my bucket list too.
Alberta.
Ah – see, it pays to actually read the thread…. 🙂
No problem.
Goodnight, “see” you tomorrow.
Alberta? Stampede land? Or more West?
oh hai – where’s Ireland on that list???
https://twitter.com/chrisrockoz/status/250916967836430336
Wow, just wow. We are global, how cool is that? And yeah, a slice of Mother Africa — Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa in the house. TOD just way, way cool.
Me too!
Who would I prefer? Mrs. Michelle Obama.
No obvious choice between the lovely Michelle Obama and Ann Romney, especially coupled with that unfortunate picture of Mrs. Romney — yeeeks ….
Desperate fools at work
This is me, now.
Off topic:
It’s like they don’t even care.
lmao.
Axe on a roll!
Hey, we have five views from the Cayman Islands….. just saying.
Added a crazily detailed list of countries to the post, but I’m weird this way …. I ♥ lists of countries 😎
What? Nothing from our “number one geopolitical foe”? How disappointing!!
Ahhh, yes. There they are in your updated list. Carry on!
‘but I’m weird [this way]’
Straight from the horse’s mouth, TODobots.
People from all over the world love your President 🙂 That’s an impressive list of countries! Wow!
Welcome, Brigette:) Rather addicting, isn’t it? Hugs from the USA!
Yup, addicting ! Thanks for the warm welcome .. feels good !
Brigitte Bardo ?
Welcome to the whacko land.
Hi Brigitte! Welcome to TOD! Glad you’re here!
Welcome to TOD Brigitte! 🙂
amk, dudette, hopefruit : so glad I’m here ! Thank you for making me feel at home 🙂
Welcome, Brigitte! You’re a natural, even down to the smiley faces! (Many of us struggled with those…) 🙂
Hi Brigitte.
aloha brigitte! all one family here.
Hi Folks, Hi Chips…….Just wanted to say that Trinidad & Tobago is by no means a “minor” country on the world stage. We may be small but we are involved in everything in the world.
Hi Trinisamba, I was only kidding, by ‘minor’ I was referring to the US, Canada, UK, etc. Just a bit of fun 😉
Whoo Hoo!!!
You are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO right! Safe travels back home…
Thanks DF! This is the beginning of real married life as we have been spending most of the time apart since we got married in 2010. I am looking forward to it but I am still a bit nervous.
Good luck with everything – enjoy the journey and the learning!
I love and adore this woman! That’s it.
OMG. This is video that you HAVE to see! These are the same brave men that Republicans didn’t see fit to care for.

I just can’t imagine TOD without “amk for Obama.”
me neither:) We love our amk…
Oh df. 😳 😳 😳
Oh nath. 😳 😳 😳
Aw, he’s blushing. 🙂

Okay, just finished watching Springsteen do “Storytellers” on Palladia. I must now go write.
He left a mark, didn’t he 🙂 One of the best. An American Treasure.
Wow, the updated list is amazing Chips. Congrats. You’re truly a “UN” phenom.

“Teach a man to fish, and feed him for a lifetime. Don’t feed fish.”—Paul Ryan earlier today in Ohio.
Sounds like “I know that human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully”
Ahhh – I didn’t realize it would show his picture
Yes, we needed a warning before that jolt; especially after desertflowers lovely APB for the arrest of the same fool!

Greetings from Trinidad & Tobago. I am here all day everyday. Thanks Chips for everything.
WE ARE THE WORLD! WE ARE THE CHILDREN…….lalalalalaaaa……..
I consider myself well-read and geographically aware but I’m ashamed to say I don’t know anything about the country named Jersey. Looks like I need more edumacation. 😳
We have “New” Jersey. Didn’t ya ever wonder where plain old Jersey was? 🙂 It’s part of the U.K.
We have “New” York. Plain old York is also in the U.K.
New Mexico…. 🙂
😆 You’re a trip, Miss Dudette! 😆
Actually “Girl, You A Trip” is my new middle name. 😀
The cows… I totally forgot about the cows! 🙂
Ahhhhh, now the cows — both Guernsey and Jersey — I’ve heard of them. Veddy veddy interesting. Sounds like a sweet little spot. Thanks for the geo-history lesson! 😉
Goodness gracious, Nancy Pelosi is spectacular and spell-binding, close to political perfection. She needs to be on t.v. e-ver-y-day.

Video description from YouTube:
Read the President’s plan: http://OFA.BO/SAzDgd
Read the President’s plan: http://OFA.BO/SAzDgd
Holy SHIT! That was awesome! In two minutes he gave his vision for the next four years in a 4 point detailed plan. I cannot wait for this debate.
I know. Right? 🙂

Greetings from Vancouver, BC. Canada!
Welcome Polly.

My slideshare project, Early Voting Expanded is done. It’s the
revised version of Early Voting 2012. (It’s the top Presentation)
I started off by doing another Presentation, but realized quickly
that I just needed to add to the previous project. I now have info
on voter registration and absentee deadlines as well. Another will
be coming on voter protection tonight. Please post to wherever and
share with all. A third on Obama Accomplishments may be sometime
this weekend as well. Inform your neighbors and friends.

I’m finding I actually love doing Powerpoints!
Voting issues has been a passion of mine since 2000, when I had to
sit in an office and silently cry while Gore was robbed of his
Presidency by five black-robed thieves. It was intensified on
September 11, 2001 when I saw that the guy they robbed Gore for was
nowhere to be seen for several hours of the worst horror I’d ever
seen. 2004 didn’t help either. So I’ve been interested in voter
education-an informed voter is an effective voter.
No thanks I know all I need to know about Ann and Mitt Romney. I’m one of those 47%.
I’m one of the 47% who hopes that after November 7th, I’ll never hear from them again.
huh–i got a laugh from it, and i couldn’t be more 47%–living on social security. maybe i’m giddy and it’s time for me to get some sleep!
Greetings from Michigan by way of NY, MA, MO, and Trinidad!

So, Time magazine says that Mormonism us America, and that is why America is exceptional because of Mormonhsm, with a big picture of Robney in Church Praying.
You have got to be kidding me?
This is class A Bullshit, even for Meachem.
That is all..
Thankfully, Americans aren’t that stupid, and voters can smell the STENCH of class A Bullshit – and it stinks on ice!
Or when you Die, you are a God and inherit a Planet!
Well Curiosity has already said that Romney is not inheriting Mars or Earth.

///
John C. Green, an expert on religion and politics at the University of Akron in Ohio, said Obama’s surge among Catholic voters does not mean the bishops’ campaign was ineffective . But religious freedom is not the most salient issue for Catholics during an election dominated by economic concerns, he said.
///
Kerry Washington is on MSNBainC!
Hate to say it, but every Capehart appearance is a waste of air time. Every time he says something, my response is “What???”
Been reading a lot of articles lately about how the campaigns have been managing their cash and most of them point to the fact that OFA has the advantage because they have more direct control over their money. This article highlights that fact that OFA actually has an advantage in some ad rates too because of the portion of the money they control as compared to super pacs. In one example it points out an ad that Obama paid $125 for an ad that costs the super PACS $900.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/decision2012/obama-has-more-control-of-campaign-cash-and-with-it-an-edge-in-ad-rates/2012/09/26/c85304ea-03f9-11e2-91e7-2962c74e7738_story.html
Andrea Mitchel is dissuading People from early voting.
She says wait for the debate, if the President makes a mistake, you could change your mind, blah blah blah.
Then, She sites John Kerry.
She is a Bull shitter. That is all!
She’s a stupid donkey. That is all.
No Hope….Andrea is No Donkey. She is an Elephant.
That is all. LOL.
HAHAHAHA! True…
She reminds me of a bobble head doll for some reason…..
She’s mad at Obama for “being mean” to Nut and Yahoo. That is her singular focus.
LOL! An honest toddler is on Twitter 🙂
LMAO! Maybe HT should give us some insights on the election.
Tampa bay tribune front page, Front page-
