PBO remarks at the Clinton Global Initiative will be broadcast lie on MSNBC. At least Alex said they will be bringing his remarks live when they return from commercial break. I hope it’s more than a snipet.

      Congrats on 1st TD!

I’m a little pissed at her for her stupid tweet earlier. She implied Obama was on TV talking about Hanna Montana while Mitt was talking about something more important – education.

Obama spoke to UN an he’s now at Global initiative. Does the media actual – ya know – watch MEDIA???

I don’t let them get to me. I take it with a grain of salt. If I know they are on our side, I don’t sweat a misstep now and then. Alex is definitely in PBO’s corner.

/waving fingers back discretely and briefly, so as not to detract from my focus on the main speaker / /very softly/ Ahem! Hi, again, TD. I said ‘hi’ when you brushed past me at the gates but I guess you didn’t hear me. It’s okay, you don’t need to repress the grin I see peeking out @12:12pm.

ok… Is it my old lady eyes or does it look like he is giving someone the finger while grinning in that picture where he is sitting down..

It’s your imagination. When he gives the finger he does it by seeming to scratch his nose. I haven’t seen him do that in a while though.

I just visited a RWNJ site and the headline about the UN speech is ‘PBO declares the future must not belong to practicing Christians’. This is how they keep their low information voter scared and stupid. I find it a fascinating study in human behavior.

CSPAN 1 will be carrying the speech live. right now listening to paranoid caller from PA..commie this and commie that. What are the people reading.

And I always appreciate the intuitive comments from Joy Reid—–especially welcome just now in trying to talk sense to Alex Wagner who is still aflutter about Obama not having photo op mtgs. with world leaders. So many in the media took the Repub talking point of condemning Obama for going on The View—–probably because Romney specifically mentioned that show in his 47% talk. Meanwhile Romney is going to appear on that very serious, hard hitting Leno show. What a bunch of baloney.

    • September 25, 2012 at 12:29 pm

They did not figure out that photo ops with wolrd leaders is a STRATEGY. PBO administration uses them as such.

Thanks for this. We know by now that PBO doesn’t do anything by coincidence. His every move is well thought out and strategically planned. He knows he’s on the world stage and each movement impacts how the rest of the world will react.

Hi Dotster3, Media just looking for shiny objects to use to bash President Obama. When he sits with World Leaders very few Americans know that he is out of the country or see the photos.

We know what they are trying to do. Yes we do.

Thanks Chips. I missed the UN speech but heard it was fantastic. Pres. Obama is now using the horrors of slavery to evoke powerful images about oppression around the world. My goodness; what a powerful speaker.

The UN speech is amazing. I read it, didn’t even watch, and it had me in tears. What a truly brilliant and inspiring president we have. He was able to speak to the better natures of everyone in the audience. I’m just blown away by this. He also managed to make every hate-filled, intolerant person in this country look like a jackass and he never even mentioned them. Now that’s genius.

It was wonderful and now he’s at the Global Economy Initiative, giving yet another heartfelt speech to the world. There’s no end to his ability to reach everybody.

it was impossible not to think about robmey’s factory in china, with the women workers enclosed by barbed wire fences. no need for pbo to say that, because we know it. he is an extraordinary speaker, person, president, world leader.

I see UTaustinliberal already posted this, but still, here’s an excerpt so you can see it’s really was Brown people

“Scott Brown Staffers Mock Elizabeth Warren: Caught on Tape Chanting and Waving Tomahawks”

Staffers for Sen. Scott Brown were caught on video this week at a rally in Boston chanting Indian “war whoops” and making tomahawk chop gestures, mocking Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren.
Pictured in the video are deputy Chief of Staff Greg Casey, Constituent Service Counsel Jack Richard, and a Republican operative named Brad Garrett, according to Boston’s ABC affiliate.

After Obama 2nd term is over, it’d be pretty cool if he was a professer at his own school of students, like Xavier in X-Men or that long beard dude in Harry Potter. Ah just the things i think about in my head.

FLOTUS is looking tired in those pics. I hope she gets some timeout from everything. POTUS & FLOTUS work damn hard, I couldn’t keep up.

Kind of a dull looking crowd at Clinton Global Initiative. What’s with that?

Scott Brown staffers do Indian war whoop at Warren rally (Updated)
    By EMILY SCHULTHEIS | 9/25/12 12:19 PM
A handful of Scott Brown staffers got their boss in hot water this morning when a video surfaced of the staffers doing Indian war chants at an Elizabeth Warren rally over the weekend.

  18. September 25, 2012 at 12:55 pm

    Wow, classier still:

when asked if he would apologize for his staffers’ behavior.

“The apologies that need to be made and the offensiveness here is the fact that professor Warren took advantage of a claim, to be somebody – a Native American — and using that for an advantage, a tactical advantage,” Brown said.

Wow! Two great speeches in one day. This is remarkable an so many levels. This speech put Mittiful’s speech to shame. Mitt shamed his own speech by just walking on stage.

    • September 25, 2012 at 1:01 pm

OMG, that was a GREAT speech!!

President Obama looked exhausted at the end of that speech – and deservedly so. This speech was also quite awesome and the ending was so passionate. You can tell that he believes in individual dignity and he cares about people. You can’t fake that.

Someone mentioned earlier that women’s issues seems to have been put on the back burner. If you listen to this speech, you’ll know that women’s issues have not been put on the back burner at all. The President was visibly moved by the words he was saying. He even put his mouth to the side like he does when he’s trying to gather himself together. He cares. There can be no doubt of that. He cares. And it’s also clear that his care for people, all people, is the reason why he endures what he does, and why he sought the office. To actually help people. He’s just an awesome person, and of a higher plane.

  21. September 25, 2012 at 12:59 pm

That speech was AMAZING! I’m still crying! President Obama, I love you!

  22. September 25, 2012 at 1:04 pm

Apparently, the Israeli Times says they do not feel as comfortable under President Obama, as they did with President Clinton.

I bet, that Nut and Yahoo leaked that Shit?

Look I want Israel to be safe, but I don’t want America to start another war for Israel. We are tired of war. And if that Prime Minister of Israel start anything they better be prepare to finish it and not expect America to come in for the rescue.

doesn’t matter because given the scope of our own issues that we need to resolve in this country, count me as someone who could care less about what they think or feel about MY President.

Romney whole campaign is about attacking the President, it’s not about having any ideas, he has none. They are Bush policies on steroids.

  24. September 25, 2012 at 1:16 pm

The vice presidential debate is a little over two weeks away on Oct. 11, and Joe Biden is getting ready.

His first mock debate with Paul Ryan stand in Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) was held last week, an Obama campaign official tells POLITICO.

“The Vice President has been preparing for his debate with Congressman Ryan – a candidate who has an exceptional grasp of policy details and a mastery of budgetary matters,” the official said.

Has the President had any debate prep with Kerry?

Thanks Chipsticks for posting PBO’s UN speech text, just finished reading it. I was mesmerized just reading it. He is amazing, awesome, man and leader, how did we get so lucky here in the USA. Later in the quiet of the evening I am going to listening to him give it and the CGI speech.

  26. September 25, 2012 at 5:42 pm

Sooo crazy. These pictures. The UN. I was THERE in July 😀
