Actually, that doesn’t happen but if a window blows out the cabin is no longer pressurized and you have very little oxygen (that’s why they have those little masks that drop down “in case of a loss of pressure.” It also gets FEARSOMELY COLD. At, let’s say 30,000 feet you’d freeze to death rapidly even if you had an oxygen mask.

Whoopi managed to get in some tidbit of conversation with Michelle. Sheri just keeps smiling at the camera off to her left, looks removed from anything going on. And Elizabeth is perched perkily at the end of the couch, trying to look cute but she cannot hide the ugliness within— and looks real disappointed with the loveliness of today’s guests.

I don’t regularly watch this show. I try to watch when FLOTUS or POTUS are on. That being said, I would probably have acted much the same as Sheri–just sitting and smiling dumbfounded.

The attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that killed the American ambassador to the country earlier this month “wasn’t just a mob action,” President Barack Obama said Monday.
During an appearance on the daytime TV show “The View,” Obama was asked if the attack was an act of terrorism. Administration officials began labeling it that way last week, but Obama didn’t use precisely that language.
“There’s no doubt that the kind of weapons that were used, the ongoing assault, that it wasn’t just a mob action. What’s clear is that, around the world, there are still a lot of threats out there,” Obama said, according to a pool report.
Initially, the Obama administration claimed the attack grew out of a protest underway at the consulate in response to an anti-Muslim video posted on the Internet. However, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers said Sunday he had “no information” that a protest was underway at that consulate at the time of the attack.
After National Counterterrorism Center Director Matt Olsen labeled the incident as an act of terrorism last Wednesday during a Congressional hearing, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney picked up that line on Thursday, calling it “self-evident” that the attack was terrorism.
Republicans have jumped on the confusion to suggest that the administration deliberately understated the significance of the incident, which occurred on the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.
Despite indications that many in the Muslim world want government action taken against the anti-Muslim video that provoked recent violence, during his appearance on the “The View,” Obama stressed values shared by Muslim populations abroad and by Americans.
“The overwhelming majority of Muslims, they want the same things that families here want. They want opportunity, kids want an education, they want jobs, they want peace. But there are extremist strains that are there,” Obama said.

He said when he contacted them to get the source of their info/to name names, they said they didn’t have any facts, but they weren’t going to write a correction! THESE PEOPLE LIE FOR THE GOP!!
Yet one sentence did stand out to me. When Romney was in mid-rant about the 47 percent—simplistically and erroneously conflating three subsets of Americans: those who voted for Barack Obama, those who receive some form of government assistance, and those who pay no federal income taxes—he said:
I’ll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.
Here was Romney sharing his view that Americans who don’t make enough money to pay income taxes and his fellow citizens who rely on Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, or other government programs are lesser people than he and the millionaires before him.

My best guess as to who is behind this is Jake Tapper. I see posts from Aug. when he says PBO giving interviews to People and Ent. Tonight is the “last straw” for him, that he “can’t stand” any more of this behavior from the president, avoiding his hard hitting questions, going to the fluff media. And I’m wondering if The View appearance set him off and was his last, last straw.
Either him or Ed Henry—-Chuck Todd seethes at PBO too.
If you check all the postings from the press corps in the Obama era, they’re all negative.
I know the WH Press corps journalists have been negative towards PBO, and they are rooting for a Romney presidency. But I am not convinced that it’s they who are running this account. Their reputations surely would be at stake here if it ever becomes public that they are running this account, and tweeting these vile comments about the President from it.
I always thought “White House Press Corp” was an alias for the Correspondents Association. Could be wrong though.

Its not the name that’s so much the issue. They could use the name and still be a parody account. There are several “Barack Obama” accounts on Twitter, but we know that its only one of them that is actually authorized by the President and from which he tweets.

He was on one of the shows on Friday and said that. I changed the channel. He and 21 or 29 other Dems wrote a letter to the President asking whether he intends to cut Social Security.

The President has said he wants to raise the cap on SS, and Means Test More Wealthy individuals.

If he raises the cap he may not need to means test SS benefits. If you pay into it, you should get it no matter how many millions you get. If it is means tested than what about people who NEVER paid into it?

When the D.C media turned on him, he in turn trashed PBO instead of standing on his ground and basking in the gloy that PBO had asked a blogger a question in a pressor. In addition to showing off our glorious and beautiful first couple, there’s a lot going on in those photos. Barack and Michelle are lovingly holding hands, Joy is determinedly locking arms with Michelle, Barbara looks a little spacey trying to get the president’s undivided attention. Whoopi managed to get in some tidbit of conversation with Michelle. Sheri just keeps smiling at the camera off to her left, looks removed from anything going on. And Elizabeth is perched perkily at the end of the couch, trying to look cute but she cannot hide the ugliness within— and looks real disappointed with the loveliness of today’s guests.
Sheri thought the world was flat up until a few years ago, and I’m not sure she was completely convinced otherwise… I totally agree with your assessment of Hasselbeck.

I don’t regularly watch this show. I try to watch when FLOTUS or POTUS are on. That being said, I would probably have acted much the same as Sheri–just sitting and smiling dumbfounded.

The attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that killed the American ambassador to the country earlier this month “wasn’t just a mob action,” President Barack Obama said Monday.
During an appearance on the daytime TV show “The View,” Obama was asked if the attack was an act of terrorism. Administration officials began labeling it that way last week, but Obama didn’t use precisely that language.
“There’s no doubt that the kind of weapons that were used, the ongoing assault, that it wasn’t just a mob action. What’s clear is that, around the world, there are still a lot of threats out there,” Obama said, according to a pool report.
Initially, the Obama administration claimed the attack grew out of a protest underway at the consulate in response to an anti-Muslim video posted on the Internet. However, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers said Sunday he had “no information” that a protest was underway at that consulate at the time of the attack.
After National Counterterrorism Center Director Matt Olsen labeled the incident as an act of terrorism last Wednesday during a Congressional hearing, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney picked up that line on Thursday, calling it “self-evident” that the attack was terrorism.
Republicans have jumped on the confusion to suggest that the administration deliberately understated the significance of the incident, which occurred on the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.
Despite indications that many in the Muslim world want government action taken against the anti-Muslim video that provoked recent violence, during his appearance on the “The View,” Obama stressed values shared by Muslim populations abroad and by Americans.
“The overwhelming majority of Muslims, they want the same things that families here want. They want opportunity, kids want an education, they want jobs, they want peace. But there are extremist strains that are there,” Obama said.
The president also insisted that the anti-Muslim video, which he has denounced, was not a justification for violence.
“There’s never an excuse for violence,” he said. “The best way to marginalize that kind of speech…is to ignore it. You don’t make yourself bigger by putting other people down.”

Do we know that this is the same organization that is behind the Twitter Account? On the link you provided, I don’t see any Twitter account listed on their contact info page. Also, the organization is referred to as WHCA, not WHPresscorps as it is called on the Twitter account.
Yes the WH Press Corps are the nutballs that grill Carney with repetitive and idiotic questions daily.
My best guess as to who is behind this is Jake Tapper. I see posts from Aug. when he says PBO giving interviews to People and Ent. Tonight is the “last straw” for him, that he “can’t stand” any more of this behavior from the president, avoiding his hard hitting questions, going to the fluff media. And I’m wondering if The View appearance set him off and was his last, last straw.
Either him or Ed Henry—-Chuck Todd seethes at PBO too.
If you check all the postings from the press corps in the Obama era, they’re all negative.
I know the WH Press corps journalists have been negative towards PBO, and they are rooting for a Romney presidency. But I am not convinced that it’s they who are running this account. Their reputations surely would be at stake here if it ever becomes public that they are running this account, and tweeting these vile comments about the President from it.
I always thought “White House Press Corp” was an alias for the Correspondents Association. Could be wrong though.

Its not the name that’s so much the issue. They could use the name and still be a parody account. There are several “Barack Obama” accounts on Twitter, but we know that its only one of them that is actually authorized by the President and from which he tweets.
I’m not saying that it couldn’t be someone in the Main Stream media who’s operating behind this account, but it’s not linked to the WHCA.

He was on one of the shows on Friday and said that. I changed the channel. He and 21 or 29 other Dems wrote a letter to the President asking whether he intends to cut Social Security.

If he raises the cap he may not need to means test SS benefits. If you pay into it, you should get it no matter how many millions you get. If it is means tested than what about people who NEVER paid into it?

Bernie Sanders is like the boy who cried Wolf. Everytime I see his mug on tv, I turn or mute the channel until his interview is over. He is getting worse. Why is he saying s*** like this when we are only a month away from the election. It serves no purpose. Those 29 Dems could have kept those signatures because PBO will not be backed and bullied into a corner.
FYI – POTUS delivers an address to the 67th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) at UN Headquarters in New York City at the annual General Debate at 11am Eastern.
