The now defunct Countrywide tried to do the same thing with my mortgage payments. They misapplied my mortgage payments when they took over as servicing my payments and started foreclosures proceedings, threated me and after I showed them I had paid…..NO APOLOGY. Then they tried to impound my property taxes when I had already paid them. Thank God we have this agency…no wonder the financial community hate President Obama.

That was ….interesting. Thanks for the link, Meta. Probably just in my head, but I felt there was some pain in Phillipe’s first email. Sigh, I don’t understand why some media folk get so hung up on the public’s right to know that they seem unable to draw a line when stuff may be too sensitive /dangerous to air right away. And what does the public do with that right once they find out? Sigh.
