I’m watching our gorgeous FLOTUS’ speech now. She is phenomenal.

Look at our POTUS in fine fighting form. I am so feeling his confidence, passion, and determination. Love him for it! That rainbow has me humming some Stevie Wonder: “There’s a ribbon in the sky…”

I’m glad POTUS work out because that man sure can eat. On Letterman he said he weigh about 180. I think I’m starting to enjoying seeing what he is going to eat on these campaign trips.

What ho TOD Peeps! Spent all day today at Obama Camp–yep that’s what it was called! It was an all day training and organizing session with several other teams here in LA. I’ve been phonebanking for awhile, but decided to sign up to be a Volunteer Coordinator to help OFA CA gear up for the humungo GOTV effort in the remaining weeks of our illustrious Prez’s campaign. They played the Story of Fired Up Ready to Go clip and I was like perfect time to play this. So many people there hadn’t seen it! Some of the people I was sitting next to wanted to know how I already knew about the video which of course gave me the perfect opportunity to tell them to check out TOD if they really want to know what’s going on with PBO in real time, thanks to Miz Chips tireless efforts.

45 days to go y’all. LET’S GET IT DONE! #PRESSON

US State Dept. Blasts CNN Report on Stevens’ Diary

CNN broke a pledge to the late ambassador’s family that it wouldn’t report on the diary, said State Department spokesman Philippe Reines, a senior adviser to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

In a statement Saturday, CNN defended its use of the journal’s contents and asked “why is the State Department now attacking the messenger.”

The messenger?? They have some nerves

Oh my…beautiful pictures. Just absolutely gorgeous. Every single one of them. There is one in the restaurant with a lady and PBO takes her hand into both of his hands and says something to her and the other ladies looking on seem extremely touched by that. Then there’s another of a young man in a blue T-shirt who is angling his cellphone to take a pic of himself next to the President. Then there are several with younger kids who just seem happy to be there, some of them taking pics of their president. Then a few with older women who are holding on to PBO like he’s their long lost son…

And then there’s FLOTUS with that amazing speech, looking as stunning as ever in that gorgeous dress.

Seriously folks, what are we going to do in 2017?

elizabeth warren is a very exciting personality in her own right. i’d be perfectly happy to get “fired up” for her too, america’s first female president. of course anything is possible, but i don’t expect to see another total package such as the obama family (youth, great marriage, young kids growing up before our eyes, poise, etc.) anytime soon. i think they are a once in a generation first family, which makes it extra important we do all we can get them a house and senate of democrats. we’re down to a month and half left to do whatever we can do for the obamas for the rest of our lives. they won’t be running for office again, so this is our last chance, folks, to “have his back” once and for all. forward!!!!!

Those pictures are fabulous. The crowd is so thrilled to meet, hug and shake POTUS’ hand. And Mrs. Obama as always is gorgeous at that CBC speech. May the polls get better for President Obama as we get closer to election day!

president obama and the campaign team he formed have proven to be among the best ever, judging by their results. i like to study them and try to figure out why they do what they do. they have wisconsin wrapped up already, and immediately south is illinois which is clearly for obama, so i’m guessing they decided to do this milwaukee trip to shore up tammy baldwin’s excellent work there already, and perhaps some other downticket races. i would love to see them start hitting more states where they have it wrapped up already, specifically to help senate and house democrats. a trip to a massive crowd in boston might be a nice way to help get elizabeth warren over the finish line for good. this team knows what it’s doing at every step of the way. nothing is by accident and is designed for maximum results. forward!!!!

Hi Bobfr and ty again for all the tweets – From the link at the link

“By June, the news of the false signatures had put enough pressure on McCotter, and the Congressman resigned in disgrace. In his resignation statement, McCotter lamented his decreased earnings potential, expressed his concern for the toll the scandal took on his family, and said that he would continue to cooperate in the investigation. He never took responsibility for the incident.”

McCotter was upset because he could no longer live on the government coffers – from the party of small government!

Does Willard campaign at all? I feel like Paul RAyn does all the events and Willard just does fundraisers.

    • 54 hopefruit2
      September 22, 2012 at 10:31 pm

Willard cannot get crowds to attend his events which is why Ryan is the campaigner. Willard has to pay for his crowds at events. No wonder the campaign is in debt despite all this fundraising and superPAC support.

      • 55 99ts
        September 22, 2012 at 10:50 pm

I don’t think Ryan gets too many either – let alone the 24 or so that Miss Ann talks to. If the press ever showed a picture from a GOP rally, we might get a better idea – wonder if Mitt pays the press to not take photos?

        • 56 hopefruit2
          September 22, 2012 at 11:10 pm

I think Mitt uses his money to bully a lot of people into doing as he wants. That’s why he’s never been able to relate to people on a personal level. It’s always his money doing the talking and negotiating, ensuring that he gets to compromise 0% of the time and gets 100% of what he wants. But he is about to learn a very important lesson. Probably the first important lesson of his life as a 65 year old man.

Did anyone notice that no one helped FL Michelle Obama down the stairs in a long dress? No escort to the Rope Line! They should have had a SHORT Rope Line in another room and let her leave after her speech! All those people crushing her! We can be so ridiculous!

I noticed too! If her regular guy had been there, he would have helped. Don’t know why the new guys weren’t taught manners. I’ve seen Miche and PBO together and PBO’s main SS guy helping Miche off of the stage. These other guys were likely too busy picking their noses to notice Miche trying to leave the stage.

good map included with this article about early voting:

‘ Forget about election day being Nov. 6. For about half the country, election day is here now. In-person voting begins in Idaho and South Dakota today. In 25 states, absentee voting starts today or has already started. About 35% of all votes are likely to be cast before election day.

This surge of early voting could have a huge effect on the campaign. By all indications, Obama is ahead now, although that could change after the debates. Consequently, his supporters are all revved up and eager to vote, whereas Romney supporters may hold off until things improve, but if they don’t, his voters may not bother to vote at all, which could affect downticket races. Since there is no way to unvote, any mistakes or gaffes made later in the campaign will not affect votes already cast. ‘

Don’t want to impose but I’m just asking you to share this one with a few of your best friends.

    Dear Friends:
There are less than 3 months until election day when the people will decide who will be the next President of the United States. The person elected will be the president of all Americans, not just the Democrats or the Republicans. It’s time that we all need to come together, Democrats and Republicans alike, in a bi-partisan effort for America :
If you will support Barack Obama, please drive with your headlights ON during the day.

If you support Mitt Romney, please drive with your headlights OFF at night.
Together, we can make it happen. Thank you

He has worked so tirelessly for all of us…we all need to work just as hard (as we all are) to have his back and get rid of these freeloaders in Congress that put ideology before country..They need to be sent packing!

has any of the major press reported on the fact that mittbot and miss ann have been spending massive amounts of time in california over the last week or so? in fact, miss ann was coming to california once again when her plane caught fire and they made an emergency landing a couple days ago. president obama is leading by roughly 30% in california.

“the news” was making a big deal about president obama going to wisconsin this weekend and portraying it as a negative for america’s president, yet i haven’t seen a single “news report” mention how weird it is that the rmoney’s have been avoiding swing states in favor of a state where they’re losing by 30%, to fundraise. mittbot is so incredibly pathetic.
